Gardinene i hytta var for dårlig, sol gikk rett igjennom. Burde vært tettere gardiner dårlg med kjøkken utstyr.. Dårlige kjeler, en øse hadde vært greit og skjeer til å røre med i kjelen.

Reviewed Apr 8, 2026Gorgeus stay in the mountains. Few steps from well maintained xc skiing trails. Amazing views. Possibility to use great sauna and common room. Fantastic views and absolutely quiet place out of town. Driving up was not an issue at all even with fresh snow (with normal winter tires and some experience).
No idea what could have been better.

Reviewed Mar 29, 2026Sehr gemütlich und praktisch eingerichtetes Häuschen mit kleiner Sauna und Holzofen. Einstieg in die Loipe direkt vor der Tür. Wir haben 1 Woche mit 9 Personen im Winter dort verbracht, was platztechnisch OK war, mit 6 bis max. 8 Personen ist es wahrscheinlich noch ein wenig komfortabler.

Dårlig med lys , vi er eldre. Litt ujevne gulv. Spesielt i gangen. Trangt soverom , med dumme bein på senga. Nesten umulig å gå forbi uten å slå foten. Dårlige sitteplasser med ryggstøtte.

Reviewed Mar 7, 2026Sejt schönes Ferienhaus mit großem Esstisch, Couchecke und zahlreichen Schlafmöglichkeiten. Es lag direkt an der Loipe, die bis spät in die Nacht beleuchtet war. Sehr schön war auch, dass wir einen Wachsraum nutzen durften und auch die Sauna. Waschmaschine und Trockner gab es auch, haben wir aber nicht gebacken.

Nur als Hinweis: Hunde sind erlaubt, daher sollte man mit dem ein oder anderen Hundehaar-Rückstand rechnen.

Globaal gezien was het schoon, maar dit had beter gekund.

Reviewed Aug 11, 2025Der Ausblick ist grandios. Die Unterkunft ist relativ Modern und Chic eingerichtet, Kamin steht zur verfügung, es gibt eine Feuerstelle draußen. Bett war gut.
Leider ist sehr viel sehr „abgegriffen“ - bei ALLEN Töpfen und Pfannen sind die Griffe sehr locker gewesen, der Stuhl im Wohnbereich fiel fast auseinander wenn man sich hinsetzt. Sauberkeit war nicht so gut. In den Ecken usw. war es überall dreckig.😕 Da könnte auf jeden fall nachgebessert werden. Was wir uns persönlich noch gewünscht hätten, wäre ein Ruheraum zur Sauna.

Reviewed Sep 28, 2024We enjoyed our stay at Liapark. It was off season late September so very quiet. The cabin was very comfortable, modern, with a nice view of the mountains. There were not many hiking trails direct from the cabin but the drive down to the valley to other locations was not long. The cabin was a bit cool but had all appliances that would be needed and many beds for guests. The staff was immediately responsive to any needs we had. Overall a good stay for us.
Could have been warmer.

Reviewed Jul 30, 2024Liapark is set up in the high mountains on a switchback road. The view is phenomenal and panoramic. There are hiking trails around. We walked to a nearby small lake for a swim. We were able to have a campfire which we cannot do at home because of fire danger/wildfires. The kitchen was well supplied. The place was modern and small but cozy.

Reviewed Jun 11, 2023Liapark is a very special place, we chose to visit it in the summer to relax, take in the views and do a bit of low effort hiking. The owner sent through lots of help to find the spot and the cabin, and kindly met us with an english language binder with things to do in the area. The cabin was clean and very spacious for 2 people. The kitchen was well prepared to cook a good bunch of meals and the closest shop has everything you would need. (even found some suggestions on local food in the binder provided!) There is so much natural beauty around Ål. Every drive we took we would find new interesting places to explore. All with breathtaking views with snowcapped mountains in the backdrop. We will hopefully be returning to Liapark and this picturesque part of Norway as soon as we can.

Reviewed May 6, 2023The cabin is modern, luxurious and spacious. We found everything we needed for us and even for our baby. The views are spectacular and you can rent sledges to have fun in the snow. These two days have just been perfect.

Reviewed Feb 5, 2023We had a fantastic stay at the Liapark. The location is high up, so you get absolutely stunning views all around. The cabin was perfect for our stay as we wanted to do cross country skiing, which we could do, literally right from the door, with an extensive network of trails that are regularly groomed and well laid out. The ability to do some night skiing as well was another plus. The host ordered us in the skis so they were there to use for our arrival which was fantastic, saving us a lot of faff. The host was also very responsive to any questions or issues that we had. Inside the cabin was spacious, cosy and well equipped for self catering and the information booklet helpful for any general info on the cabin or things to do in the area etc. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was decent. The sauna was also great to warm up in after a day out skiing, so nice to have that on-site! Would love to revisit again soon!
Only a couple of minor things: The instructions on arrival were not clear. We were meant to receive a text message with the check-in information but it never came through (maybe because I have a foreign number), so I would suggest also copying this info and sending via email/booking.com messaging app so it definitely gets to the customer to avoid unnecessary timewasting. There were no logs or firelighters in the cabin on arrival. While you could go and collect logs from the store outside, as these were covered in snow and wet they wouldn't light very well initially, so it would be helpful if a few logs and firelighters were available inside on arrival so a fire could be lit straight away. There was no bathmat, which we found a bit irritating and had to sacrifice a hand towel to use instead.
