Reviewed Sep 18, 2026Väldigt fint läge - nära till vattnet och gårdskänslan. Mysig stuga i bra skick och alla bekvämligheter man behöver. Trevliga värdar som gärna hjälpte till.
Jag hade föredragit en fräschare disksvamp och trasa i köket, de hade blivit använda många gånger.

Reviewed Aug 17, 20265 Minuten Fußweg bis zum eigenen Seezugang, die Freundschaftlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft von Birgitta und allen anderen auf dem Pferdehof, nicht zu zu vergessen die Hunde (insbesondere Aya), die uns regelmäßig besucht hat und die Elche, die wir mehrmals im Wald direkt neben dem Haus sehen konnten
Wir waren 2 Wochen dort. Da wäre ein Kleiderschrank in der Ausstattung schön gewesen.

Reviewed Jul 18, 2026Solo resa med min hund. Underbara miljöer, fridfullt. Nära till klipporna för bad! Trevliga ägare med fint bemötande. Stugan var över förväntningarna och alldeles underbar. Kan starkt rekommenderas om man vill komma undan lite och vara för sig själv. Hästar, fågelkvitter och skogens djur runt hörnet :)

Reviewed Jun 7, 2026The cottage is at a peaceful place on the edge of a horse farm, just a 5 minute walk from the lake. It had everything I needed and slept well there. In the morning, a deer came by, nibbling the plants behind the house.

Reviewed May 25, 2026Die Stuga ist für Urlauber, die Ruhe und Natur mögen, phantastisch! Sie liegt abgelegen und nahe am Vänernsee auf einem Pferdehof. Sie ist sehr schön und sehr gut ausgestattet. An einem Morgen konnten wir von der Stuga aus sogar einen Elch mit Kalb beobachten. Brigitta und ihr Mann sind sehr gastfreundschaftlich.

Reviewed May 14, 2026Klein comfortabel huisje van alle gemakken voorzien. Prachtige omgeving met indrukwekkend uitzicht op het meer. Op het terrein aan de rand van het bos herten en één eland gespot. Echt een plek om tot rust te komen en bij te tanken. Vriendelijke eigenaresse!

Reviewed Apr 19, 2026A peaceful retreat where the world feels quieter. Surrounded by nature and the gentle presence of horses, it’s an ideal place to relax, unwind, and enjoy calm walks outdoors. Still, it’s just a short distance to the local center with shops and restaurants. The hosts were warm and welcoming, and the overall experience was excellent. I even extended my stay, and honestly, I wish I could have stayed longer. Highly recommended.
What I didn’t like? Having to leave. I would have gladly stayed longer.

The house was cozy, clean, and well equipped, making it easy to feel at home for a longer stay. Everything worked well, and the space was comfortable and practical. The hosts were especially wonderful—very kind, welcoming, and accommodating. They were easy to communicate with and always helpful whenever we had questions or needed anything, while still fully respecting our privacy. Overall, it was a great experience, and we truly enjoyed our stay. We would happily recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay, and we would not hesitate to return ourselves

Reviewed Oct 14, 2025This is an exceptional cottage in a farm near lake. Location is idyllic, cottage is wonderful (can accommodate a family with two kids), and everything is just right. The bonus is that there is a horse stable nearby, so one can enjoy an encounter with animals as well. Very nice hosts, one cannot wish a better Swedish holiday place. Wonderful!

Reviewed Aug 11, 2025Very smooth check in and easy to get there, once you will arrive there you will see the horses which was a very nice welcome, the house is super clean and with all accessories, everything is very clean and in 5 minutes of walk you will see the breathtaking views pf lake where you can make BBQ and even swim.

The cabin was equipped very thoughtfully with most necessary items, including safety items such as a first aid kit and a fire extinguisher. The bathroom was spacious and the shower had excellent water temperature and pressure. The area was generally nice.
The beds were very soft, which might be nice for some people, but not for me. The area was nice, but there were many annoying insects. Also, walking around from the cabin was not as nice as I expected, because all nearby roads were quite dusty.

Reviewed Oct 9, 2024The cabin is located a little off to the side from the main farm. The farm itself is located a couple of kilometers from the main road so the location is super quiet & peaceful! The cabin is essentially a tiny house but well thought out. A nice 5min walk from the property is a gorgeous lake.
If you are staying multiple days and want to self-cater/cook, the kitchen might be a bit limited, but it suited our needs

Reviewed Aug 6, 2024This place is absolutely amazing and I regret we only had short stay. I would definitely come back for longer relaxed holiday. We got a fully equipped small cottage - separate bedroom, bathroom and living space with modern kitchen equipment. Furnishing is stylish and looks new. Outside you can sit on the terrace and enjoy view of the beautiful horses. You are in the middle of nature. By short walk you get to a private beach on the lake - it is on the rocks, so maybe not for small children to play alone- but absolutely beautiful to sit, relax, you can do BBQ, swim. The nearest small town is 15 min drive where you have large supermarket and several restaurants. The hostess was friendly, came to welcome us and show everything.

Reviewed May 10, 2024Very nice host. Quiet surroundings, on a horse farm, right next to lake Vänern (~500 m by foot). Fully equipped with a bathroom, a kitchen and a double bed. Free Wi-fi works well. TV didn't work. As it's very close to nature there might be some critters around, which is almost impossible to prevent. I had to throw out a bug and a spider. Apart from that the whole place was super clean. Highly recommended!
