eine außergewöhnliche Lage unfassbar mitten in der wundervollen Natur - die Geräusche aus dem Wald und der wunderschöne Ausblick ein Traum!

Das Personal am Frontdesk hätte etwas dynamischer sein können und ein kleines Lächlen wäre auch nett- aber man hat uns in allem geholfen

Sensationeller Blick auf die typischen Karstberge, sehr geschmackvoll am Hang hinauf gebaut, gegenüber der Pool. Von der vielbefahrenen Straße zum Stausee durch diese spezielle Lage gut abgeschirmt; das haben wir so in der Gegend nicht gesehen und muss bei der Auswahl im Kao Sok unbedingt beachtet werden, sonst hat man keine Ruhe.

das Essen ist O.K., aber im Vergleich mit Lokalen außerhalb schlechter. Zum Ort sind es aber nur 10 Minuten mit dem Auto.

Comme son nom l'indique, ce lieu est magique. La vue est incroyable de la piscine et du restaurant (qui est très bon) et le ballet des chauve-souris à la tombée de la nuit est époustoufflant. La chambre était superbe, le personnel accueillant.

Le chauffeur qui nous a emmené jusqu'au lac a conduit beaucoup trop vite et a pris beaucoup de risques (sortie à la journée).

Het is als je slecht ter been bent geen fijne locatie.. veel heuveltjes op en af. Het eten was prima, maar niet om je vingers bij af te likken en daarbij was de sfeer verlichting vooral TL licht.

This hotel is located in the nature, around 40 minutes by car from Cheow Lan Lake pier and about 10 minutes from Khao Sok National Park. And they offer free transfers to those destinations! If you want to be surrounded by nature, mountains, peace, and quiet, this is a wonderful location. The rooms are clean, the breakfast has a good variety of options, and the view from the restaurant is truly magical. This was our second stay here. This time we stayed in a garden-view room, but we would definitely recommend choosing a mountain-view room instead, the view is much more astonishing and, in our opinion, one of the highlights of the hotel. Overall, a beautiful hotel in an amazing natural setting. We’ll definitely be coming back. Thank you for another wonderful stay!

Die Aussicht war einzigartig – besonders vom Pool und vom Restaurant aus. Der magische Sonnenuntergang, den wir beim Essen im Restaurant genießen konnten, war ein absolutes Highlight.

Essen und Service waren in Ordnung, könnten aber noch besser sein. Es gab thailändische und internationale Gerichte. Frühstück und Abendessen waren okay, haben uns geschmacklich aber nicht ganz überzeugt.

Wat een prachtig hotel is dit. Waanzinnig uitzicht op de bergen, mooie schone huisjes, goed eten. Zwembad is ook goed verzorgd. In de omgeving kan je prima eten, maar ook gewoon in het restaurant van het hotel.

Er viel ons niks tegen.

Vi boede her i 2 nætter som en familie på syv og var vilde med den fredelige beliggenhed omgivet af bjerge og natur. Værelserne var rene og komfortable, personalet var venligt og hjælpsomt, og både morgenmaden og den thailandske aftensmad var lækker. Poolen er lille, men perfekt til en afkølende dukkert. Vi besøgte også Khao Sok Nationalpark. Naturen var smuk, men turen var meget turistet, og bådens motor larmede så meget, at det var umuligt at tale sammen under sejlturen. Vi vil helt klart anbefale dette resort.

Vi bad om at de slukkede for musikken ved poolen hvilket de gjorde med det samme. Det ødelagde det lidt ift at være omgivet af naturen og dens jungle lyde

The view/visual location was beautiful and they offered room service for meals which was helpful The staff were able to help us book transportation to the hotel. The accommodation was clean and well presented. The accommodation appeared very empty and quiet meaning all facilitates were empty/available.

Travelling in the local area can be hard due to taxis only being accessible through the hotel not self booking and the shuffle bus is only offered 2 times a day with only 1 hour total travel and time in the local town before there is a cost. They were unable to accommodate late check out or early check in The location was very limited and isolated which for us impacted what we were able to explore and do within our timeframe.

Breakfast was a little disappointing but ok.

Great views, even in the rain. The staff were accommodating and friendly. We booked the bamboo rafting, night safari and lake tour through the hotel and all were great! Just a tip that only the lake tour could be paid by credit card so bring enough cash. Travelled with young kids and they handled the stairs and slopes fine

The mosquito situation at the restaurant is out of control. We had multiple insects flying into our food and when I asked for a mosquito coil they didn’t have any.

Location was amazing. Staff we’re very helpful and friendly.

Was just a little bit smaller than expected. But wasn’t a bother as most time was spent out of the villa.

The staff was incredibly helpful! They helped us arrange transportation to our next accommodation and went above and beyond. The views are beautiful. Room is comfortable and has nice shower. Very clean.

The breakfast and restaurant in general needs serious improvement. Food quality was not worth the value in the slightest. Perhaps offering less variety at a higher quality would be best.

nichts, jedoch gibt es nichts in Gehdistanz (Restaurants, Shops, Natinalpark,…) Es wird aber l 2x täglich ein Shuttle ins nächste Dörfchen angeboten.

I was truly impressed by the atmosphere and service of the hotel. The resort is surrounded by nature and mountains, offering beautiful views from many different angles. Although the property is built on a hillside with several stairs and different levels, the hotel conveniently provides golf cart service for guests, making it easy to get around. All staff members took excellent care of us, always being helpful, attentive, and willing to assist throughout our stay. During this trip, we joined the bamboo rafting activity arranged by the hotel. The scenery along the way was amazing, allowing us to experience nature up close and feel completely relaxed. The room was clean, peaceful, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious and well prepared. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and a memorable experience.

Rooms were so nice. Just the pool isn't like on the pictures. Every thing else was more than great

All staff members were exceptionally friendly, polite, and always ready to assist with a warm smile. The resort also offers a variety of activities, including Cheow Lan Lake tours, bamboo rafting, and river tubing, which made our stay even more enjoyable and memorable. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with all necessary amenities. Breakfast offered a good variety of choices and everything was delicious. Overall, this was a truly impressive stay and a wonderful place to relax and reconnect with nature.

Het resort ligt prachtig tussen de kalkstenen rotsen in de jungle. Wat een fenomenaal uitzicht heb je vanaf je balkon, echt ongekend. Het is allemaal heel erg schoon en ook de eetzaal en zwembad zijn goed onderhouden. Ontbijt is simpel maar lekker. Het is wel een eindje (20 autominuten) van het stadje Khao Sok vandaan, maar dat was voor ons een bewuste keuze. We hebben 1 nachtelijke jungle trekking gedaan via het hotel en dat vonden we erg leuk! Heel veel dieren gezien.

Wij zaten in de verst gelegen huisjes, en moesten een stukje lopen, trap af, heuvel op om bij het zwembad en de eetzaal te komen. In 40 graden was dat wat minder prettig. Maar we konden wel meteen afkoelen in het zwembad. En 1x mochten we in het golfkarretje mee de heuvel op, dat scheelde ook wel :)

The 360° views are truly wonderful and the resort makes sure you feel like you're in the wilderness. The staff are helpful and pleasant, and helped us change room when we felt ours was a little over looked by the pool. The food was excellent and there was a good selection every morning - which is good as this pace is remote! They also arranged a fantastic jungle tour with James, he and the tour were the standout of our stay - we'd recommend that everyone do his afternoon jungle trek.

The photos are not up to date. The swimming pool has moved to another part of the resort, which requires a golf buggy or a steep walk to reach. It’s not a huge issue, but worth mentioning as the balconies of the huts now overlook it, making them less private than they appear. The restaurant area has a mix of toys and play facilities such as a ping pong table, which is fine except when eating. You regularly have kids playing ping pong a meter or two away from your tranquil meal. The rooms and facilities aren't the most modern or polished, again not a huge issue as you stay here to feel like you're in the jungle not to have luxury. Lastly is the road noise, it is quite audible all day and night as the resort is situated quite close to it.

Views are great

It was unsafe for the kids. Staircases with pointy edges, poorly lit and slippery at night. Also didn’t understand that we didnt get sheets, only a blanket that I dont think gets washed in between guests. We left 2 days in earlier because it just was difficult to be there with little kids. Room was also sold as 60m2 but it was 35 tops I would say.

Mooi uitzicht

Schaduw plekken zwembad en vervoer naar het plaatsje khao sok. Je kunt alleen smiddags shuttlevan hotel gebruiken hij gaat uiterlijk om 17 uur terug. Dus je moet haast wel in het hotel eten. Want rond etens tijd kun je niet met grab een taxi krijgen en het hotel rekend absurde prijs om je te brengen. Het zou fijn zijn als de shuttle tot een een of 20 uur zou rijden.

The place is magical, amazing nature view, right in front the beautiful cliffs. The staff is so nice and helpful! The room was convenient and tidy. 1-2 nights here would be amazing. There are activities you can book with the hotel, such as Bamboo rafting, jungle tour, etc. We arrived at night, and ordered food from the staff on WhatsApp. The food was ready once we arrived, and was warm and delicious.

Mind that, there are many stairs to reach the rooms.

On a positive note, the view from the resort is genuinely lovely, and breakfast was decent. Unfortunately, those were the only highlights of our stay.

We stayed at Magical Mountain View Resort with high hopes, especially after a long 5-hour journey. Upon arrival, we ordered two Pad Thai dishes, but were served seafood Pad Thai instead of the shrimp version we had requested. When we asked for it to be corrected, the dish was simply taken back and returned with a single undercooked shrimp added on top, which was disappointing and not what we expected. Another concern was the lack of transparency around fees. A 7% service charge was added for every single ticket of drinks/snacks ordered at the pool, despite not being mentioned during check-in, which didn’t feel appropriate. Also a 3% fee is charged for every single payment with card. Transport pricing was also inconsistent. At check-in, we were told a ride into town would cost 150 baht per person. However, when we later asked for a ride, we were quoted 700 baht, then 500 baht. On previous evenings, the same trip had cost 300 baht total or 150 per person as originally stated. These fluctuating prices gave the impression that tourists are being taken advantage of, which felt neither fair nor professional. Overall, due to the inconsistencies and service issues, we would not choose to return and wouldn’t recommend this place to others.

The property all around is beautiful and very well kept. Staff were extremely kind and spoke very good english. The attention to detail is plenty. The views all around - nature sounds and morning mist - we loved it. 10/10 highly recommend

Gewoon een perfect hotel!’ De ligging, onze kamer! Wat een top bedden en super cosy ingericht!! Het uitzicht op de bergen met de mist, tijdens het ontbijt. Echt amazing! De lieve dame/manager die ons overal bij heeft geholpen. Wat een krachtig verblijf! Veel Nederlandse gezinnen met kleine kindjes aanwezig. Veel kinderspelletjes aanwezig en zwembad met een view!! Niet twijfelen, maar boeken!! Echt top!!

Het heeft een ongelijke ligging vanwege de bergen. Maar je kunt de buggy bellen als het nodig is. Alles was gewoon top!! Kids ook genoten!

The location of this property is breathtaking. Do not worry about these stories of Photoshopping ! It really is exceptional and very, very special. The sunset and sunrise over the jungle are particularly impressive and you can see the jungle mountain shrouded in mist as you eat your breakfast.

It is a pain that you can’t get a drink or a snack after about 20:30 because everything closes on site. The relatively low pricing means you do get guests who form groups and play music in the pool area. Not pleasant.

This was such a great hotel, it was one of our favourites from our trip. The room was very cozy and clean and we had an amazing view from our terrace. The hotel was so beautiful and in a truly magical location, the views are unmatched and unreal. The pool area was clean and so relaxing to hang out in. Also, we had all of our meals at the restaurant and the food was great. There was a good variety of thai food to select from and everything had so much flavour! The staff were so friendly as well. They helped organized our activities and transportation to the town and next destination. The transportation was also very comfortable! There are also plenty of hikes and outdoor excursions nearby which made our stay even better.

Everything was awesome, wish I would have stayed 1 more night!

Wunderschöner Aufenthalt mit traumhafter Aussicht Das Magical Mountain View Resort liegt in wunderschöner Lage mit herrlichem Blick auf die Berge. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich, sauber und sehr gepflegt – besonders angenehm war, dass wir keinerlei Probleme mit Insekten hatten. Das Essen war super gut und das gesamte Ambiente sehr entspannt. Ein toller Ort zum Wohlfühlen und Entspannen. Sehr zu empfehlen – wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. 🌿⛰️✨

L’hôtel en lui même, le cadre idyllique. Le personnel super accueillant et trouve des solutions.

Malheureusement dans ce type de bungalow il y a des trous partout et forcément la nuit des insectes et araignées rentrent… De plus la localisation était super pour le cadre par contre prévoir un budget déplacement important même pour aller au lac.

Atutem tego miejsca jest lokalizacja, zarówno w świetle dziennym jak o zachodzie słońca to miejsce wygląda absolutnie przepięknie. Domki są czyste, pachnące i wygodne. Można miło spędzić czas na basenem z pięknym widokiem na góry.

Restauracja w hotelu to najsłabszy punkt tego miejsca. Jedzenie a la carte są mało smaczne, a ceny jak za tę jakość wysokie.

De locatie is fenomenaal. Het uitzicht is geweldig en het is gunstig gelegen tov Khao Sok en Cheow Lan meer. De kamer was ruim en schoon en het bed comfortabel. De keuze bij het ontbijt is niet heel ruim, maar voldoende en lekker. Het zwembad is erg fijn en biedt eveneens een fantastisch uitzicht. Uitstekende plek om Khao Sok te bezoeken.

Onze kamer lag aan de weg en was best gehorig waardoor we voertuigen goed konden horen ‘s nachts. Dat heeft de nachtrust verder niet verstoord.

Menue Angebot entspricht nicht dem Hotel. 2 Pasta beide nicht gut . Kein Fleisch , Steak. Schade da das Hotel sehrt gut aussergewoehnlich ist

Ce qui ne se voit pas sur les photos : Faire 11 heures d’avion et venir dans cet hôtel rechercher le calme de la forêt thaïlandaise …. Et se retrouver à dormir à 10 mètres de la route 🤬 Personnel peu aimable parlent peu anglais (à part la patronne), propreté laissant à désirer (nous avons commandé des plats en chambre le premier soir, qui sont restés sur la terrasse pendant deux jours, le carrelage du restaurant n’a pas du voir une serpillère depuis longtemps…)

Beaucoup trop de Chlore dans la piscine Mafia des taxis dont l’hôtel est complice, exemple pour aller à Khao Lak hôtel me propose 2500THB je leur demande si possible de négocier ils me disent on essaye avec le sourire bien sûr lol, et au final non 2500, en 2min via WhatsApp je negocie via un taxi local de 2300 à 1500 THB… pas honnête. Le petit déjeuner bien mais toujours identique je recommande max du max 2 nuits

Wunderschöner Aufenthalt mit tollem Service und Dschungelblick Wir wurden im Magical Mountain View Resort sehr herzlich empfangen. Da wir bereits am Vormittag bzw. mittags angekommen sind und unser Zimmer noch nicht fertig war, haben wir in der Zwischenzeit Getränke angeboten bekommen – ein sehr netter Start. Die Anlage ist insgesamt superschön und ruhig gelegen. Unser Zimmer war sehr sauber, ordentlich und großzügig geschnitten, mit einem fantastischen Blick in den Dschungel. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben ist die sehr gute Ausstattung des Badezimmers: Shampoo, Duschgel, Föhn, Zahnbürste, Ohrstäbchen – wirklich alles, was man braucht. Auch im Zimmer selbst gab es viel Platz und viele gut platzierte Steckdosen. Der Frühstücksraum ist schön gestaltet, das Frühstücksbuffet ist solide, könnte aber noch ausgebaut werden. Es wäre hilfreich, wenn die Speisen besser beschriftet wären – vor allem für Vegetarier, da nicht immer klar war, welche Gerichte vegetarisch sind. Es gab viele Süßspeisen, Eierspeisen, Toast, Pancakes und Waffeln, teilweise auch eher Lunch- oder Dinner-Gerichte zum Frühstück. Ein großer Pluspunkt ist der kostenfreie Shuttle-Service nach Khao Sok (zweimal täglich hin und zurück). Der kostenlose Rücktransfer ist allerdings zeitlich begrenzt (ca. eine Stunde Aufenthalt). Zu anderen Zeiten kostet der Shuttle 100 Baht pro Person. Dieser Service ist extrem hilfreich, da Grab und Bolt in Khao Sok kaum funktionieren. Besonders bedanken möchten wir uns bei der Mitarbeiterin tagsüber mit kurzen Haaren: Sie spricht sehr gutes Englisch und hat uns hervorragend geholfen, nachdem unser One2Go-Asia-Transfer zum Donsak Pier kurzfristig storniert wurde. In dieser Region ist es sehr schwierig, spontan ein Taxi zu bekommen – sie hat alles organisiert und dafür gesorgt, dass wir pünktlich am Pier ankamen. Ein kleiner Minuspunkt ist die Abendrezeption, da dort kaum Englisch gesprochen wird, was die Kommunikation (z. B. zum Shuttle) erschwert hat.

It's a cosy, lovely hotel, located on a hill right in front of a few impressive mountains. Actually, it's a row of small, well-maintained bougainvilleas, Ikea-style. Houses are side by side. Breakfast is also good, but there aren't many options you can choose from.

I suppose it will be an astonishing luxury resort in the middle of a vast mountain jungle with awesome view, where you can run away and enjoy the sounds of nature, but it appears that the hotel is located right on the main busy road) You are lucky if you get your bungalow on the other side of the hill, and noise from the road can't reach you when you're inside the room) Cause when you're outside, you can hear that noise everywhere, even when you're gonna see the sunrise or trying to enjoy your meal on the patio))

I stayed two nights in this resort. Everything was extremely pleasant. Clean room, clean towels, daily cleaning. Good restaurant with a wonderful view. Quite large infinity pool with bar. Pleasant and comfortable peace. I highly recommend it.

Dit resort is echt prachtig. Zonder twijfel één van de mooiste resorts waar ik ooit heb verbleven, en sowieso het mooiste qua uitzicht. De naam Magical Mountain View Resort is absoluut terecht. De kamers zijn supermooi en luxe. Bijna de hele voorkant van de kamer is van glas, waardoor je altijd uitkijkt op de prachtige natuur. Je hebt ook een balkon, wat het extra fijn maakt om daar rustig te zitten. De kamer was schoon, de airco werkt perfect, de douche is goed en lekker warm (best bijzonder gezien hoe afgelegen het is) en er is goede wifi. Dat is echt geen overbodige luxe, want mobiel bereik heb je hier bijna nergens. Vanaf het zwembad en tijdens het ontbijt heb je uitzicht op een enorme, indrukwekkende berg. ’s Ochtends hangt er mist, waardoor de berg net boven de wolken uitkomt (bij ons elke dag, zelfs in het droge seizoen), en ’s middags komt hij helemaal tevoorschijn. Het uitzicht is echt bizar mooi en verveelt geen moment. Check ook zeker de foto’s, die laten dit goed zien. Het resort is kleinschalig, waardoor het overal heel rustig is. Het leek volgeboekt, maar omdat er niet veel kamers zijn, voelt het nergens druk. Je hoeft niet te haasten bij het ontbijt en het zwembad is ook nooit vol. Het ontbijt was uitgebreid en erg goed, en ook het eten in het restaurant is gewoon lekker. Het personeel was supervriendelijk en ontzettend behulpzaam. Alles wordt voor je geregeld en niets is te veel moeite, wat het verblijf nog fijner maakt. Veel uitstapjes worden vanuit het hotel geregeld, zoals bamboeraften, een jungle trekking of een tour over Cheow Lan Lake. Wij hebben het bamboeraften en een tour via het hotel gedaan en dat was allebei supergoed geregeld. Ook taxi’s kun je via het hotel boeken, wat ideaal is omdat Grab hier niet werkt en vervoer niet altijd makkelijk te vinden is. Wat ik mensen ook echt wil meegeven: ik snap heel goed dat veel mensen kiezen voor zo’n bungalow op het water. Als je dat wilt ervaren, moet je dat vooral doen.

The view from the pool is beautiful. The rooms are nice.

We planned on staying at the property a night ahead of our stay at the floating bungalows on Cheow Lan Lake assuming it will be a short drive to the pier. Once we arrived to the property we learned however, the Cheow Lan Lake pier is an hour drive away and the cost of getting there by car would be 1900 baht, which we found to be an unreasonably high. We eventually got a different driver pick us up for 1500 baht. Also, the property is located right next to a busy park road and the cars can be heard until the evening hours. There are no hiking opportunities around the property. I would only recommend staying there when driving your own car.
