Although I didn't meet the host directly, the communication via messaging was friendly, informative, and professional throughout. The property is clean, comfortable, and safe, featuring a well-equipped guest kitchen and a convenient fridge located right inside the room. The iconic view of the surrounding nature makes this a special place to unwind after a long ride.

Reviewed Aug 20, 2026Für die Atmosphäre einer Jugendherberge ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis gut angemessen. Durch die Gemeinschaftsküche ist es relativ leicht, andere Gäste kennenzulernen. Der sehr nahe Lyngen-Fjord ist einfach wunderschön!
Das Geschirr könnte übersichtlicher geordnet sein - vielleicht doch lieber den einzelnen Zimmern zugeordnet, damit keine Missverständnisse entstehen.

Vanhahtavan oloinen talo. Huoneissa heikko valaistus. Wc kummallinen haju ehkä home. Suihkun lattiakaivo ei vedä ja vesi jää seisomaan.

Reviewed Aug 14, 2026Ci siamo fermati una notte nel tragitto tra Svolvaer e Alta, quindi solo per dormire, e la struttura ha soddisfatto le nostre esigenze. Una cucina molto attrezzata ed il frigorifero in camera che è sempre molto comodo.
Nella sala da pranzo c'è una grande finestra che pare non venga pulita dallo scorso anno...la nostra camera era pulita, niente da dire, ma se tutte le finestre della struttura fossero pulite farebbe una impressione migliore.

Reviewed Jul 1, 2026Way to Lyngseidet and we found this good place. Room was clean and also the kitchen which was great place to meet and talk with other turists. Only 2 mins from the boat to Lyngseidet.
Maybe I´m old fashioned, but I´d like to meet the owner and "get the faces" to his/her place. Anyway, good choice!
