Mahtavat maisemat ja kiva pieni mökki.

Sunnuntaina illalla, ei Norjassa ollut lähes mikään kauppa tai huoltamo auki ja oli aika vähissä vaihtoehdot löytää ruokaa. Tuplasänky oli vähän liian upottava ja ehkä tieto siitä ettei huoneistossa ole lainkaan wc-paperia olisi ollut hyvä tietää etukäteen. Saunanlauteet 1,5 pepulle;)

Tolle Lage mit Blick auf Fjord, sehr gemütlich eingerichtet.

Eine Ablagefläche im Bad wäre super (für Necessaire usw).

Krasna klidna lokalita. Ciste vybaveni. Sauna v cabin byla prijemnou vyhodou. Parkovani kryte. Velka spokojenost. Bezproblemovy check in i check out. Vrele doporucuji. Rada se vratim.

Super majake. Kõik vajalik oli olemas. Voodid mugavad. Köögis kõik vajalik, et süüa teha. Majas oli ka saun. Auto sai parkida kohe maja kõrvale. Võti asus võtmekarbis, kätte sai koodiga. Asukoht super, mitte kaugel teest. Väga põhjalikud juhised saadeti.

Absolutely perfect cabin to relax and have a peaceful night.

The accommodation was excellent. The views were stunning and the accommodation had everything we needed.

Veldig dårlig utstyrt kjøkken.

Stayed at Main Cabin in mid-February. Clean, well furnished cabin for 10+ guests situated just outside of Alta (15 minutes). Staff was responsive and communicative and made us feel welcome. We were treated to spectacular near-daily displays of the Northern Lights!

Nice location on hilltop out of town. Several independent cottages/huts with private, open air parking, partly in carports. Sauna in our cabin fitted 2 persons. Keyless access. Very quiet and scenic location.

Sehr schöne Lage, wunderbares und gemütliches Häuschen hoch über dem Fjord von Alta. Ausstattung sehr gut, Sauna im Häuschen. Sitzplatz mit Heidelbeeren.

Dunstabzugshaube defekt. Schlafzimmer extrem eng ohne Platz für Gepäck, Steckdosen unter Betten unzugänglich.

I really liked the house. Everything we needed was there. Enough space for 4 people. The surroundings and the view were beautiful. Our family is very satisfied!

The lodge is spreading a cozy feeling & very comfortable. It is a great place to enjoy nature though we were surprised to have so many neighbouring lodges/houses.

The bedrooms are quite small and the kitchen was not so well equipped.

Beautiful cabin but a bit cramped. We were just in need of a place to crash for the night, so did the job just fine for that. Kids loved it and would like to go back. Everything worked as it should, and was easy to find. Will recommend for a stayover or base camp, but not for staying in the cabin. It may get claustrophobic when the weather is poor.

The location was good. There was a parking area nearby, which was a short distance from the lake in the mountains, where we caught fish.

The mattresses on the beds were too soft. Only one toilet paper roll in the whole cabin. Mountain views, but the windows were really dirty. Knives and kitchen utensils need updating. The key code of the trash container did not work.

We were a couple on the way to Nordkape. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen had everything you need to prepare a hot dinner. The bedding is pleasant. The shower is hot and good. Just a wonderful place!

The place is amazing! Mountain and sea view, as well as absence of TV makes accommodation super cozy and relaxing.

Cleanliness standards of the place are not too high. Aslo if you are two meters tall or taller, maybe beds will be not so comfortable for you.

Wrong address indicated, which led to some frustration at the beginning, searching the wrong place under the pouring rain. Sorted out with couple phone calls to the owner.

Cozy cottage with a sauna. Good value for money

The lodge is cosy and close to the main road, yet you are surrounded by nature. You can even see the sea. The lodge was clean and the kitchen well equiped. Free wi-fi, a sauna and a parking spot is included.

We could hear the loud music our neighbors played until late in the evening and we had to ask them to turn it down.

The location was away from city light (for aurora viewing) The staff picked up when phoned. There was a charging point for electric vehicles and hybrids.

1. There were no basic cooking utensils. 2. There was a video camera in the living (we live in Norway and have never seen this before, the use of a video camera inside is extremely strange and off putting) 3. There wasn’t enough toilet paper (we were only there for two nights, staff should have considered that guests would not buy a whole pack of toilet paper for two nights - every other place on our trip was well stocked). 4. The place is really small if you’re more than 2 adults (we were 4). 5. Our unit and the main unit looked directly into each other’s cabins (both of our groups ended up having to close curtains). 6. Wifi was not functioning the entire stay and no attempts or check-ups were made by the staff after we informed them.

Cozy and comfortable, sauna, bubble bath and wonderful mountain view with reasonable price, we enjoyed it! Thank you very much! 😊🔥

Nice location. Beautiful views. Nordic interior. Easy access with code.

The sauna didn’t work. Host not interested in seeing to it, try getting it started, and no offer of compensation. The small cabins sit right next to and share outdoor area with a 18 person hut. If this hut had been occupied I believe our stay would have been very different, in regards to noise and privacy.

Cozy hut outside of Alten. The view and hottub on the terrace would have been amazing, unfortunately for us, it was very cloudy. The place was very neat and tidy, the beds where comfortable to sleep in and, as a Finn, we were delighted by the small sauna.

We had a bit of trouble with the electric lock at one point, we could not get the door to unlock, which was quite stressful for a while, but fortunately resolved quickly.

Great place for family with small children. Small foresty yard to play and make a fire. Easy access by car in summer time. The lodge for six persons had a small and comfy electric sauna. The view from the lodge was amazing.

We really enjoyed our stay. The lodge was warm, cosy, very clean and well equipped. We were lucky to see the northern lights right outside. The whale watching trip run by the same company was excellent and we thought Oskfjord was stunningly beautiful. Hot water in the kitchen didn't work but the kettle provided all we needed. Great to have ones own sauna.

Alten Lodge is really more of a house rental than a hotel. We were a family of four (two kids ages 9 and 11) and stayed for a night in a cabin en route of a long road trip. It was a decent size, cozy and clean and comfortable. The setting is lovely. We were the only guests which, while slightly disconcerting, meant that we had the deck to ourselves and it was lovely and quiet. This is probably a perfect place for a family group or work group. Note that while there are bunks, at the time of our visit, the side/safety rail of the bunk didn’t go above the mattress height and therefore wasn’t safe for a child to sleep up top. There is a kitchen, so it’s a decent place to be able to stay and self-cater. (And there’s nothing nearby particularly so you will need to!)
