A great place to stay to explore Cat Tien National park. Food was good, and the owners were very helpful with organising some epic tours in the national park, including Gibbon trek and seeing freshwater crocodiles, and bringing breakfast across to us after finishing our early morning tour! The rooms were quite tired and old though.

La localización es perfecta, en frente del río, en plena naturaleza a un paseo pequeño para cruzar el río para entrar en el parque nacional. El dueño fue muy amable y estuvo pendiente de si necesitábamos info para movernos por la zona o para volver a Ho chi minh.

Right on the river, central to the Park. Very relaxing. Staff were amazing, were so accommodating & organised tours & rides for me. The food was made fresh and having breakfast supplied was excellent (even delivered when I was across the river after the Gibbon trek!) They made my first stay in Vietnam so easy.

Siamo stati una notte al parco ed é stato tutto bellissimo. Il lodge é a conduzione familiare. Luam ha organizzato per noi tour sia diurni che notturni per scoprire la giungla. Tutto super organizzato nei minimi dettagli. Il lodge é vicino al punto di partenza del farry per il parco. Consiglio anche il bird watching con Ha, ragazza preparatissima che ti accompagna in una bellissima alla scoperta degli uccelli del parco.

Great location, authentic atmosphere, great communication and food., great support from Luan. The ginger beer was t top notch.

A nice enough place in the middle of the 'tourist area' of Cat Tien, which is just basically a quiet collection of similar guest houses . It has an idyllic setting on the river, a lovely place to sit and drink a coffee in the morning. It definitely has a wild feeling to it.

Nothing really, the whole town was a bit quiet when I was there in July and I just used it as a stop off between Saigon and Dalat.

We stayed 2 nights here having arranged the trip independently. The family who run Green Hope Lodge were brilliant at helping us booking the local tour and guides for Cat Tien national park. We ate al our meals at Green Hope too, breakfast had two choice, we opted for the pancake which was delicious. We were provided with a Breakfast Bam Me for out early morning bird trip. The evening meal was excellent too, a large meal provided from a simple menu. The location on the edge of the river is superb and it is just a short walk to the Ferry to cross into the national park.

Guests will need to be prepared for the wildlife in the national park…the hotel has mosquito nets and basic air conditioning which work. However, you will need to ensure that you are aware of how to protect yourself from leeches and mosquitos. The room we booked was not available due to building work on arrival so we were moved to another building.

Smukke stunder i de mange terrasser ved floden med kig til nationalparken, hængekøje og fan/blæser. Madrassen var helt perfekt og i det værelse vi boede i var der et firkantet myggenet, A/C og en fan/blæser.

Selvom værelset var rent og ikke slidt, var det alligevel integreret med naturen og dermed var der lidt tissemyrer, myg og edderkopper, men ikke mere end man kan forvente.

Virkelig en skøn atmosfære i og omkring området. Gode senge, som var til den bløde side. Personalet var super hjælpsomme og imødekommende. Der er hængekøjer ude foran som man kan slappe i! Området er virkelig fantastisk!

Vi havde et familieværelse som virkelig trængte til en rengøring på vægge og lofte - der var meget edderkoppespind. Derudover virkede aircondition ikke optimalt. Og Man kan høre alt hvad naboen fortager sig.

This is a lovely place to stay right next to the river. The room was large, with good air conditioning and a very good hot shower. There's several cabanas overlooking the river which is so relaxing. We woke up for sunrise every day to hear the jungle waking up. We spotted loads of Kingfishers from here too which was lovely. The location is just a short 10-15 minute walk from the boat to the National Park which was ideal. The road is really quiet and has a nice vibe. We ate here for lunch and dinner on our first day and the food was okay but nothing special. They had lots of vegetarian options which was good and portions were huge. Breakfast was really good. We had pancakes with banana, honey, and tea and they kept us full all day. Overall, a lovely stay and we'll be back in future!

The property is huge and we struggled to find someone to check in when we first arrived. The staff didn't feel the most welcoming, but possibly just because of the language barrier! Wouldn't put me off staying again for sure. The man (sorry, can't remember name) spoke really good English though and helped us with the bus!

Very nice and helpful english speaking owner. Good food with reasonable price. Nice river view.

The room is not airtight, you get mosquitoes, but you have a Mosquitonet. Bathroom could have been cleaner.

Le green hope lodge est très bien situé, en bord de rivière, idéal pour faire une pause dans le voyage. La famille s'est très montrée très serviable et disponible. Je recommande.

If you come here, you are going to the National Park. The lodge is 300m from the ferry to the park. It is quiet well cared for, and clean. The owner's son is very helpful, especially regards to organising guides, tours and transport. This place is good value.

The resort could be nicer with a better maintenance of the garden. High potential on riverside!

Reservamos 5 noches y nos terminamos quedando dos noches más. Una gran gran ventaja es que ellos lo harán todo por vos. Te reservan las visitas guiadas al parque, tienen servicio de lavandería, incluso si planeas ir temprano antes de la hora del desayuno, te pondrán el desayuno en una bolsita para que te lo lleves. Luan es un anfitrión maravilloso, todos los días estaba con la mejor sonrisa, al igual que su madre que siempre fué un amor, su hermano y su padre.

こちらの宿に決めた理由は川沿いだったからです。川沿いにハンモックがあってそこでぼーっとするのは最高のひとときでした。スタッフも親切でとても居心地の良いホテルでした。

ヤモリさんも同居していて、それは気にならなかったですがヤモリさんがうんちをするので、それだけが気になりました。

It’s a budget lodge; the value for money is certainly decent, but bear this in mind! The rooms are clean, though they could do with a bit of refurbishment here and there. The rooms on the river side are 5 metres from small communal terraces with benches and hammocks, offering lovely views of the river. The food is absolutely delicious; there’s no need to go out of your way to eat in the village – just eat there. The prices are very reasonable, by the way. The owners and staff are all very friendly. Special mention for the son, Luan, who speaks excellent English. He arranged a few things for me, such as a boat trip (at a competitive price) and a taxi to Long Khanh – a bit more expensive than Grab, but a nice car and a very careful driver. I hired a bike from him for the trip in Cat Tien NP; it wasn’t in mint condition (needed lubricating) but good enough for the trip, and he also gave me an automatic bike pump. My bike was stolen in the park (lock your bike even if no one else does). At the lodge, Luan immediately put me at ease and said he would find it, which he did. Thanks again for that, and also for the pleasant stay and the little chats.

Le spot est magnifique au bord de la rivière, la jungle en face, le petit déjeuner est très bon. Un bon rapport qualité prix.

Emplacement exceptionnel en pleine nature. Dépaysement total.

La douche n’a pas d’écoulement donc tout le sol de la salle de bain est trempé y compris au niveau du lavabo.

Schöne Lage am Fluss. Geräumige und urige Zimmer. Weitläufiges Hotelgelände. Nettes Personal der sich um Touren und weiteres kümmert.

Badezimmer etwas spartanisch. Elektrik ziemlich abgenutzt (Stecker kaum noch nutzbar). Aber alles ok für den Preis.

Bis auf die sehr harten Matratzen war alles gut.

Excellent location and generous support by staff

Die Lage ist wunderschön. Das Früstück, Lunch oder Dinner kann man essen, wir sind aber tatsächlich dann auch ausgewichen und haben an einem Tag auswärts gefrühstückt und zum Abendessen gewesen. Das Personal gibt sich sehr Mühe und ist auch sehr freundlich. Hin und wieder kann man die Gibbons singen hören, allerdings sollte man besser in den Nationalpark gehen und die morgendliche Gibbontour buchen, ein Erlebnis, welches man nicht mehr vergisst. Alle Touren kann man vor Ort zuverlässig und sicher buchen. Der Kontrakt im Vorfeld war sehr gut und sehr freundlich. Die Fahrräder sind nicht schlechter oder besser als die im Park.

Die Sitzgelegenheiten am Fluss sind unbequem. Es herrscht ein totales Drucheinander bei den Möbeln. Die ganze Anlage wird leider total vernachlässigt, was die Ausstattung angeht und auch sonst. Alles sieht auf den Bildern toll aus, aber so wirklich wohl gefühlt habe ich mich nicht. Zwischen den Angeboten von Touren hat man Zeit zum Entspannen, aber zur Entspannung lädt das ganze Anwesen nicht ein. So wie ich das gesehen habe, gibt es an die 15 Zimmer. Es gibt mehrere Häuschen, die irgendwie alle einen anderen Baustil haben. Unser Zimmer war eines der beiden auf den Stelzen. Es gibt nur ein Stelzenhaus, auf dem sich beide Deluxzimmer befinden. Es sind auch die Teuersten. Natürlich hatten wir den laut brummenden Kühlschrank im Zimmer. Der Kühlschrank des anderen Deluxzimmers befindet sich außerhalb. Unser Moskitonetz war nicht wie auf den Bildern, sondern war definitiv zu klein für das Doppelbett. Man hatte ständig das Netz irgendwo am Körper. Es gibt auch keinen Schrank im Zimmer, nur ein paar Kleiderhaken die an einem Balken hängen. Das Zimmer ist sehr dunkel, es gab nur ein Fenster, nicht wie auf den Bildern. Wieso die beiden Zimmer unterschiedlich eingerichtet sind, ist mir ein Rätsel. Das Bad wäre eigentlich groß genug für eine Ablage. Es gibt aber nur eine winzige Ablage über dem Waschbecken, diese war total rostig und auch der seltsame Becher, ich weiß gar nicht für was der war, ist innen verdreckt. Man kann definiv nicht sagen, dass es sauber war. Auch der Badeteppich war total verdreckt. Ich habe mich nicht getraut barfuß im Zimmer zu laufen. Ich bin einmal mit weißen Socken über den Boden gelaufen, man kann sich denken wie die Socken dann ausgesehen haben. Das Holzhaus ist mega hellhörig, was wir uns auch im Vorfeld gedacht haben. Allerdings gingen wir davon aus, dass man dadurch die Naturgeräsche besser hört, die hört man auch, aber leider auch die Karaoke bis in die Nacht hinein. Gut, dafür kann der Besitzer nichts.

We just left Green Hope Lodge after three incredible days, and it has been one of the most moving experiences we’ve had as a family. It is rare to find a place where the people, the lodge, and the surrounding jungle feel so perfectly connected. The team at Green Hope has created something truly special. Their hospitality is grounded in a quiet kindness and a genuine presence that makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive. They don’t just run a lodge; they share their world with you. If you are looking for a place where you can truly feel the magic of Cat Tien and experience hospitality that comes from the heart, this is it. We left with full hearts and memories that went far beyond our imagination. A huge thank you to the whole team for letting us step into your world for a moment. Comfy bed, mosquito net, breakfast, prime support from host, water refill, close to national park, peacefully quiet , good food and also in the neighbourhood - what else would you want more… Loved it

Lovely location by the river and close to the small ferry to the national park. The bungalow was simple but fine, could have been a bit cleaner. We had to ask for a duvet cover after checking in, but we got one. The pavilions in front of the bungalows are a perfect place to relax. Communication before and during our stay worked very well via WhatsApp. The host organised bicycles with a guide for our trip to Crocodile Lake, a boat tour and the onward journey to Da Lat. Breakfast and dinner are not outstanding, but perfectly reasonable.

This lodge is the perfect place to use as a base to visit the Cat Tien National Park. The rooms are basic (as you'd expect at the price) but very comfortable and a great size. The food in the restaurant is also really good. But the best bit is Luan, the host. He speaks excellent English and is a real "Mr Fixer" when it comes to advising on and arranging tours. Under his suggestion we did a nighttime jungle walk, the early morning Gibbon Trek, a full day of birdwatching, and the morning boat trip. All were amazing and arranged flawlessly by Luan. If you have any questions about what to do when visiting this amazing park, then he's your go-to man!

Die Lage und die in der Lodge buchbaren Ausflüge sind großartig. Es war unfassbar schön die Tiere und die Natur zu erleben! Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war sehr einfach, aber für den Preis absolut in Ordnung. Nachdem kurzfristig mein Grab Transfer abgesagt hat, hat die Lodge innerhalb von 20 Minuten einen Wagen organisiert, der mich 3 Stunden nach Mui Ne gefahren hat. Super!!!

Die Sauberkeit hat sehr zu wünschen übrig gelassen. Und für Empfindliche wie mich: es gibt sehr viele Mücken (was mir vorher klar war - direkt am Fluss gegenüber vom Regenwald). Negativ dabei: mein Zimmer war an vielen Stellen offen, somit konnten die Mücken sehr gut ins Zimmer gelangen.

Green Hope Lodge is a great option for budget accommodation near Cat Tien National Park. The property is a wonderful option for travelers seeking value for money. Luan, who speaks very good English, as well as other family members and the entire team, did a fantastic job hosting us. They were always nice and smiling, they also booked awesome tours of the park and its surroundings for us, provided general support and guidance, good food, and convenient laundry services. Luan also helped reduce the cost of the tours by adding other guests at the hotel to our tours, which allowed us to also meet other travelers, while still keeping the group under 7 or less people. The balconies with hammocks offered a well sought after respite when it was too hot to hike/bike, or when it rained, with terrific and calming views of the Sông Đa River, a branch of the Dong Nai River. The lodge is located a few minutes walk from many restaurants in the serene and green little village, which was very convenient if you would like to try other places to eat. The location is also about 5 to 7 minutes walk from the ferry to the park, and the team took us to the ferry on motorbikes before our tours.

Pas d'eau chaude. Chambre peut être un peu petite. Pas d'endroit pour poser les bagages.

Can't say even great things about this stay... we are soo happy we chose here. Everything from the room to environment to location was excellent. But especially the staff communication and coordination of park guides and transportation. It really exceeded our expectations.

Die Lage ist wirklich sehr gut. Ein Katzensprung in den Nationalpark. Die Kommunikation mit Luan war sehr gut! Auch vor der Reise ließ er uns schon umfangreiche Informationen zukommen und buchte Touren für uns. In der Lodge selbst ist der Standard einfach, aber absolut ausreichend. Das Essen ist phantastisch, preiswert und die Portionen sind sehr ordentlich. Mittlerweile wird das Wasser in Flaschen verkauft, es ist also nicht mehr unbedingt eine eigene Trinkflasche nötig. Wir haben die Gibbon-Tour, die Tour zum Krokodilsee, die Bootstour, das Primate Rescue Center und die Nachtsafari mit Jeep gemacht. Alle Ausflüge waren sehr schön. Es gibt mittlerweile auch einen Geldautomaten im Dorf, allerdings relativ hohe Gebühren.

Da gibt es eigentlich gar nichts zu schreiben.

Great location just a short walk to the ferry to go to the National park. Right on the river. Great gazebos with hamocks and chairs and tables and fans to sit in front of the river all afternoon. Breakfast was simple but adequate . Supper was very well priced and tasty. The beds were comfortable and the A/C workded to cool the room. The staff was very friendly and helpful and happy. They always responded quickly through whats app. They arranged great tours. We did the boat tour and loved it. You are immersed in nature here. It was nice and quiet with the sounds of nature all around.

We stayed in the stilt house. It is a very traditional Vietnamese style of dwelling which was interesting. This is not a typical hotel in the fact that there are cracks and openings throughout the room open to outdoors. However the beds have mosquito netting and we had no problems. The shower is open to the whole bathroom and the tiles were very slippery when wet and the whole bathroom got wet. You had to be very careful not to slip. We would stay again maybe just a different room.

Nice place. Well organized. They can organize you all tours you want. Good food and nice breakfast. The room was comfortable, big and clean with really great view on the river and noise of the jungle. Really recommend:)

Grande chambre toute en bois, jolie, propre et fonctionnelle. Le personnel adorable, certains parlent bien anglais. Ils m’ont aidé pour prolonger mon forfait de carte sim et réservation de bus pour repartir à HCMC. Très beau jardin avec fauteuils et hamacs au bord de la rivière. Un vrai petit paradis !

Wunderschöne Lage direkt am Fluss. Einfache aber sehr saubere Zimmer mit Moskitonetzen. Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeberfamilie, die uns sehr bei der Organisation von Touren und An-/Weiterreise unterstützt haben.

Super ruhige, wunderschöne Lage und trotzdem sehr nah am Nationalpark! Liebe und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter! Großes, schönes Zimmer und gutes Bett!

In vergelijking met de andere lodges die we zijn tegen gekomen tijdens ons verblijf hier, waren we heel blij dat we deze lodge hebben gekozen. Het is meer afgelegen van de centrale straat waardoor het erg rustig en sereen is. Het uitzicht op de rivier is prachtig ! De familie die deze plek runt is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam!

- Tolle Anlage auf schönem Gelände - Klimaanlage+Ventilator im Zimmer - Tolles Personal, das einem bei jeglichen Themen Hilfe anbietet (Touren, Transfer, Mobilfunk, Bargeldabhebung...) - Alles wird aufs Zimmer geschrieben, sodass nur einmal vor der Abreise bezahlt werden muss - Die Lage ist gut, ca. 5-10 min. zu Fuß zur Fähre - Eigenen Fahrradverleih - Nehmt das Angebot an, wir hatten katastrophale Fahrräder vom Nationalpark ausgeliehen - Restaurant einfach aber gut - Unterkunft und Restaurant sehr preiswert

- Zimmer hätte etwas sauberer sein können und im Bad lassen sich Kleintiere durch die Art der Fenster nicht gänzlich vermeiden - Regendusche für große Menschen zu tief montiert, ab 1,75 Meter Körpergröße funktioniert nur noch duschen mit der Handbrause

Very peaceful place for very good sleep. Clean, good food, good bed, brilliant staff. Super location by the river. And very convenient to visit the national park. They offer free bikes as well and it’s very easy to roam arround the area.
