Lofoten Fjord Lodge

La maison est juste Waouw! 😍 Dans un écrin de verdure. Nous avons fait une balade en barque avec les enfants et c'était génial! La literie est très confortable. Quant à Helge,il est d'une réactivité incroyable! Dorénavant, la vue de notre chambre sera notre fond d'écran d'ordinateur. 🥰 Merci pour tout !

Il aurait été souhaitable d'avoir un étendoir à linge et un four à micro-ondes. A part cela,tout était parfait.

Wir hatten hier einen traumhaft schönen Aufenthalt. Die Bilder entsprechen absolut dem, was man hier auch vorfindet. In dieser Unterkunft hatten wir den schönsten Ausblick in den zeitgleich bequemsten Betten auf unserer dreiwöchigen Rundreise. Einen großen Dank an den sehr netten Vermieter.

​This lodge exceeded all our expectations! It was exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated inside, and fully equipped with everything we needed. The view was absolutely breathtaking. The location is great and served as a very comfortable base for exploring the nearby small towns by car. It even comes with a boat, though unfortunately, the rainy weather kept us from taking it out on the water. We had a wonderful stay overall!

Sehr schönes Haus. Die Lage ist perfekt um die Lofoten zu erkunden. Der Surfstrand Unstad Beach, wo es auch die "besten Cinnamon Rolls" der Welt gibt, ist nur 2 min entfernt. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist sehr geschmackvoll. Wir waren zu zweit dort und haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und hat uns mit guten Tipps zur Anreise und dem Aufenthalt weitergeholfen. Eine Wiederholung ist fest eingeplant.

The Lodge was really beautiful and the views were stunning. 🤩 Really easy to go around the Lofoten from here if you have a car.

Struttura situata in un paesino a poca distanza dalle E10 e a 15 minuti da Leknes (supermercati), al centro delle Lofoten (circa 1 ora da Reine e 1 ora da Svolvaer, noi abbiamo usato questa casa come unica base per 5 notti). Vista MAGNIFICA dalla ampie vetrate, una a nord e una a sud e con un po’ di fortuna si può vedere anche l’aurora boreale direttamente dalla casa. Cucina per fornita e proprietario gentile e disponibile.

The views

The layout, so so so uncomfortable. Too crowded with furniture for the limited space. Bathroom on ground floor, kitchen and dining on first floor and master bedroom on top floor. Extremely uncomfortable if you’re travelling with old parents or children.

We had an amazing stay in Helge’s very cool cabin. Quite unassuming from outside but it’s got an amazing internal layout, with lots of windows & skylights. Definitely has a heavy dose of wow factor so we were all pretty pleased with this choice. The location is beautiful, too, which makes all of the windows even more appreciated as you have stunning views in all directions, even from your bed when you wake up in the morning. Our boys shared a bedroom down on the ground floor (the house is 3 levels), which was good as we all had a bit of privacy when in bed. We had 4 nights here & we got to enjoy the Northern lights on 3 of these nights, right from the front & rear decks of the house, so it’s a great spot for viewing the NL. It was well situated, within a few minutes’ drive to the nearest little supermarket, but secluded enough to not have the neighbours right next to you. We were about an hour’s drive away from the 2 hikes we did while in Lofoten: Reinebringen & Ryten. We can thoroughly recommend both of these, even our kids (12 & 9) managed them just fine. So much beauty in all directions in this part of the world!!

The property was great. We noticed a couple of kitchen utensils which we thought could have been useful additions to the kitchen there & have conveyed this to the owner. I wasn’t a huge fan of the centralised lighting controls (our kids struggled a bit with the downstairs lights) but it was fine after we figured it all out.

We had an amazing stay! The views were absolutely breathtaking, and we loved relaxing on the outdoor patio each day. The location was perfect—peaceful, yet close to everything we needed. The house itself is beautiful, clean, and stocked with everything we needed. Hopefully we’ll come back one day!

The lodge is exceptional in every way and is in a paradisiacal place with wonderful views. Everything is perfect!

Location, spacious, warm

We enjoyed our stay in the lodge very much. The house is beautiful and very cosy with the big windows and the fireplace. Seeing northern lights from the bed is amazing. The location is perfect to explore all major places in Lofoten, some good spots fore northern lights are very close. The communication with the owner was always good. We had a problem with the water and Helge reacted fast.

The equipment of the kitchen could be a bit better with e.g. more towels, a wash rag and household paper. The water drainage of the shower was a bit smelly. One recommendation: providing snowshoes and hiking poles for a extra charge would be much appreciated by active tourists in winter :)

The place is amazing. It’s huge, the location is great close to beautiful beaches, mountains, lakes and small towns. The view from both sides is breathtaking. Waking up with such a view was a dream! The communication with Helge was really close, always available to help and very friendly. We were lucky enough to see the northern lights and got a lot of weather surprises like winds and snow. Everything was perfect as we were safe inside the house. I would love to comeback soon.

There’s nothing to dislike about the property

This holiday house stands detached on the edge of village Saupstad just at the mouth of a small unnamed river flowing through meadows. It looks very pretty, you cannot miss it. The house is not very big, but very well planned and equipped, we missed nothing during our stay. It is very well maintained, clean and cozy. The highlight of the house are the large windows, which let a lot of light inside and offer exciting far views. I felt like being on a captain bridge here. I was surprised how the same views may be so different depending on the weather and the time of the day (please see the photos). There are two places to sleep in the house; one is a double bed on the second floor, and the other is a sofa bed on the ground floor. I am pleased to confirm that the sofa bed is sufficiently wide for a comfortable sleep of two adults. The bathroom with a toilet is on the ground floor, which we thought could be a problem for the people sleeping on the second floor, but we found soon that it was not an issue at all. The first floor is separated into a dining area with a fully equipped kitchen and a sitting area with a lofty ceiling; there are also two terraces on this level. The space on the first and second floors feels very airy due to large windows. Most of the windows have blinds, which one can shut if necessary. The house has a convenient location to undertake car trips. Unstad beach (popular among surfers) is very close, one needs just 5 minutes of driving to reach. Supermarket Spar and Lofotr Viking Museum are within a 10 min. driving distance. The town of Leknes (with an airport) or Eggum coast (I would recommend kayaking with Northern Explorer here) take 20 minutes to reach. The famous Uttakleiv beach (popular among photographers) together with Haukland beach and Mannen peak, as well as the Offersøykammen hiking area all lie within 30 minutes of driving. There are also many other interesting destinations within an hour driving distance from this house.

We found not many walking opportunities just at the house. Still, one can have a couple of nice walks right from the house, and the closest vicinity is very nice.

We spent a fantastic week in the Lofoten Fjord Lodge. It was a perfectly relaxing stay. As we had the lodge all to ourselves Helge answered all our questions remotely and sent helpful videos for the facilities (e.g. usage of the fireplace) before our stay. The location was great for day trips, there are also little hikes closeby and we even got to see northern lights from the lodge (our stay was in september). It was a wonderful way to experience Lofoten staying at the lodge and we can wholeheartedly recommend it.

For the price and the value you're getting for it there's really nothing to complain about! If you prefer a place licked perfectly clean you may have problems with some crumbs under the kitchen e.g., but booking the lodge we were aware this is by its very nature a different experience from a hotel stay - indeed a private lodge does not offer room service or 24/7 reception service . Here, in turn, you get perfect relaxation and the chance to enjoy views and experiences in a private manner, getting a rest from the tourist hot spots at the end of your day. We were 100% happy with our stay.

Amazing view to the mountains, cozy comfortable house, good location. Great communication with host who gave us a lot of good information about activities and hikes in Lofotens.

- Superb lodge on 3 levels with large glazing and a magnificent view of the surrounding landscapes. - The fireplace. - Very complete kitchen equipment. - The beds, large and comfortable. - The sound systeme where you can plug your smartphone and listen to your own music.

The place is magic. Incredible lodge.

This place is simply magical. It is a beautiful lodge, furnished with great taste. It has a 360 degrees breathtaking view and the outdoor seating area is perfect for watching the sunset. The location is idyllic, you can stay there forever and just watch how the weather changes.The host, Helge, provided outstanding service. He is professional, polite and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. He sent us video instructions and provided great advice for the hiking areas and best restaurants. Overall this is an excellent place and we would love to come back!

Spectacular view on the mountains and the ocean small fjord where it meets with the river. Nature 100% great equipment in the house ! Great sound system. Outside terrasse + sun deck. No neighbor. It is the first time I lough discovering a house : it was so perfect I did not believe my eyes !!! And the contact with the owner is easy.

The Lofoten Fjord Lodge has a perfect location, you have a beautiful view from the bed of the mountains so you can watch the changing weather. It also has a small entrance to the water and the beach is full of shells. Inside you have all comfort that you need, it is very well equipped with cooking facilities and a coffee maker and a toaster and a washing machine and a fire place.

The Lodge ist beautifully situated. the House is a convincing mix of modern Style with Lots of Windows and traditional elements. It is cozy but also offers a great view. The couch in the kitchen was surprising but proved to be really cool. The top bedroom with Lots of Windows is just great. Special was also the support by the host. We had a few questions and they were answered in no time. we really enjoyed stay and vestvagoya Turner pur to be our favorite Lofoten Island. your sons already made plans to permanently move into the House. We can only rechnend it.
