Water in the shower was uncontrollable. They need to provide electric blankets especially in winter or heating system. Ensuite too small.

The infinity pool is beautiful and perfectly positioned to take in the surrounding scenery, making it an ideal spot to unwind. What truly sets this resort apart, however, is the outstanding staff. Everyone was warm and welcoming, with a special mention to Diana, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable. A wonderful retreat that combines natural beauty, privacy, and excellent service. Highly recommended.

We woke up to a different scenery everyday from fog covered gorge and the softest soothing rainfall to sunny beautiful skies covered in fluffy clouds. I love the privacy / exclusivity . There is nothing the venue does not have , private pool, Braai area, breathtaking views . It was exceptional , my family enjoyed everything about the venue .

Reviewed Oct 7, 2025The Lodge is a beautiful hidden gem. It is a self catering unit and well equipped. The housekeeping staff were respectful and ensured our space was well cleaned. Special thanks to Diana for her impeccable service, quick responses to our queries and overall attention to detail. Fresh towels were provided on a daily basis. The bedding was neat and super cosy. Toiletries were also provided - shampoo/conditioner/soap. A dishwasher is installed in the kitchen which came in handy with a large family! The Lodge was an absolute gem and ideal for a family break. I had the privilege to celebrate my birthday with my family after 6 years and the location was perfect. Definitely a vacation that will forever remain close to my heart. ♥️
Would have loved a set of pool towels. (Please consider a heated pool option to enjoy the water on cold days 😄) Some felt the beds were harder than expected but everyone has their own preferences.
