I really enjoyed my stay here. The place is beautiful, neat, and very clean, and the natural surroundings are absolutely lovely. There is so much greenery and the lake adds such a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. It really feels like a little escape from the noise and busyness of the outside world. For me, it was the perfect place to work on my assignment, as the peaceful environment made it easy to concentrate. The in-room facilities also exceeded my expectations, and the excellent filter coffee was definitely a highlight! One thing that could perhaps be made clearer is that there is no television in the room. Fortunately, this wasn’t a problem for me at all, as I was busy working and didn’t really need one. It would also be helpful to have a little more information beforehand regarding the dogs on the property. Other than these small points, I had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway, surrounded by beautiful nature, greenery, and tranquillity. It’s a lovely place to slow down, breathe, and enjoy some quiet time away from the outside world.

What a wonderful place to stay! My family had a wonderful time, the cottage was incredibly comfortable, the breakfast was thoughtful and delicious, and the location peaceful. We only wish we could stay longer!

Stayed here with a group of family members, each in our own unit. The location is absolutely beautiful, each unit was perfectly furnished and the beds were super comfortable. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Would happily stay here again and recommend it.

There wasn't anything we didn't enjoy about our stay.

Beautiful property and location, quite and peaceful, and a good few friendly animals.

This was the second time that I booked to stay here, both times when I arrived at the gate I had trouble getting in, buzzing at the gate, emailing, whatsapping, calling, both times I believe the owner responded hours later. Fortunately reliable staff members do tend to be on the property, if only they were manning a cellphone.

The owners went out of their way to meet me after booking in late in the pouring rain. They also made a plan, so I had to leave again at 5 am in the morning, and this also did not faze them. Rooms are beautiful, clean, and comfortable, making them a nice place to relax after a long day.

There were too few cereal bowls in our cottage. Other than that, everything was perfect.

There is not MTN network, but the wifi comprensated for it.

I unfortunately never had breakfast at the property. But I enjoyed the nature surrounding the property. It was really beautiful. The place really gave a sense of peace and relaxation.

Very comfortable room in a perfect location for those wanting to be right between Hout Bay and Constantia. The property is large and has pets onsite which makes it very welcoming to stay here. We were here for one night only so didn't get to enjoy the area as we hadn't anticipated the marathon that would block off the main road the next day. The host was kind and knowledgable and helped us find a spot to park where we would have good movement to leave the area.

Wunderschön angelegter Garten. Man fühlt sich wie in einer Oase. Der Frühstückskorb ließ keine Wünsche offen. Toller Spielplatz für die Kinder.

The accommodation itself was comfortable and clean, and overall the stay was pleasant. The setting was nice and I appreciated the effort put into the place.

On the morning of departure, I had an unsettling experience where a large dog on the property charged at me quite aggressively, which made me feel unsafe. Although someone called the dog back, it was still a very uncomfortable situation. I also reached out to the property privately to share this feedback, but unfortunately received no response, which was disappointing. Better management of pets and communication would improve the experience.

Location bordering the Table Mountain Reserve is great. Garden beautiful. Therapies and hairdresser on site. Room was good but cold due to lack of sun - position of this particualr room.

Did move in order to have option of a bath. But this was done in goodwill, as my booking had actually covered shower only. Very obliging of them.

It was absolutely fantastic- for adults and children! So clean, well equipped and so attentive. The breakfast picnic baskets were just lovely. Cherry on top, was the owners hair salon on site- had a great experience, Silvia knows exactly what she is doing! We will be back for sure! Thank you for everything!

Wunderschöne Unterkunft in einer grünen Oase in perfekter Lage, um die Region Kapstadt zu erkunden - Cape of Good Hope, Boulders Beach (Pinguine), Hout Bay / Strände, Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden, Constantia Wine Region. Besonders hervorzuheben das hervorragende Frühstück, das im Picknick Korb serviert und auf der eigenen Terrasse genossen wird. Die Reste darf man sich aufheben und abends mit einem Glas Wein snacken - sehr guter Käse, frisches Obst… eins der besten Frühstücke, die wir in SA hatten! Auch tolle Spielmöglichkeiten für Kinder (Pool, Trampolin, Spielplatz, Fußballtore).

Nichts! Nur wer Angst vor Hunden hat, ist nicht gut aufgehoben- es gibt mehrere große frei laufende (Liebe) Hunde.

Beautiful quiet surroundings. Didn’t feel like you were minutes from the town.

Peaceful setting, the cabin was extremely well appointed with careful attention to detail. The staff was professional and provided top notch service. We opted for the breakfast and they were hamper baskets with excellent quality food well above wahts we needed for breakfast and provided extra for lunch or snack later in the day.

Our stay was too short.

It was really beautiful, both in the garden and the surrounding mountains and forests, the staff were so kind and the dogs were unbelievably well behaved.

We missed air conditioning but the kind Ben gave us a fan, much better with than without.

Location - midway between Constantia and Hout Bay. Wine estates, shopping and restaurants all within easy reach. Well furnished and comfortable apartment with covered outdoor seating/dining. Swimming pool and garden area

Loved the place, grounds were beautiful, accommodations was good and clean.

I disliked the driveway in and out of the property as there was only one way of doing this which was challenging and could be dangerous.

Heerlijk mooi groen plekje, met een leuke speeltuin en een zwembad waar je gebruik van kan maken. Wij verbleven in huisje nummer 6, fijne bedden, complete keuken en een heerlijk ontbijt bezorgd op het eigen terras elke ochtend! Het strand is een kleine 10 minuten, het is een heerlijke plek om te verblijven top!

Just beautiful! Half way between Hout Bay and Constantia Neck, a quite place surounded by green. The cottages have everything you need for a pleasant vacation.

Honestly, everything was beautiful. The breakfast basket and the quality thereof was particularly lovely, certainly a highlight that compliments the experience. A perfect, peaceful getaway from the city , everything you need is within a 5min drive as well ,if not on the property

Nothing negative to be said about this property. If one really needs to provide a comment,the sound of things dropping on the roof at random could be annoying but it's basically one with nature,it's to be expected (mini branches ,acorns etc)

The lodge we stayed in as a family was large, comfortable and spotlessly clean. We most loved the facilities for the children: the pool, the football pitch and the play area. The location was amazing- so peaceful and safe. The staff were fantastic and friendly. We had a lovely stay.

There wasn’t any air con in our lodge, just a fan, so it was quite warm

A beautiful setting, with well-kept gardens. Room was comfortable, good Wifi and kind staff. Our vehicle even got a nice- wipe-down after the rain. The location was convenient to get to Kirstenbosch with an Uber and it's easy to get food delivered to your doorstep. Plenty of outdoor games and space for families. Private braai and secluded porch even if smaller units are next to each other.

Simply the best place in the region for a family trip, plenty of lush garden and space in the nature. The view on the surrounding moutains and nature is so refreshing. Staff super pro and friendly. Room ultra clean and cozy. Big pool clean and refreshing. Enternatinement area, gym room etc. Soccer field and playground for kids they even provide box of toys upon arrival.

Maybe the absence of breakfast otherwise all good.

Lack of warmth possibly owner (male). Wife seemed nice and greeted as she was going to leave for a jog. I didn't get an introduction, so I don't know if they were the owners. The names and pictures of the owners were in the book/guide, so I assume it was them. We were just told to go through the book as all answers to questions are in there.

The breakfast basket was amazing and the surroundings was breathtaking. I loved the friendly dogs and just felt at peace. Thanks so much for an awesome experience.

Le logement et le jardins sont vraiment parfait. C’est extrêmement propre et juste en face de jeu pour enfant. Un mini lac tout mignon et une jolie piscine.

Rien du tout. Si on veut rigoler je dirais qu’il faudrait un siège à bascule en plus pour lire mon livre et éviter que ma femme ne me le vole
