Very happy with everything. Amazing to get such a nice pool for the price we paid. The aircondition worked perfectly and the room was big. The staff were all very nice and helpful and the breakfast was delicious

Nothing. It’s a short ride from the city centre, but it’s also surprisingly quiet even though it’s right by the road.

Glutenfreies Frühstück wurde ermöglicht und der Swimmingpool hat die Kinder glücklich gemacht.

Die Klimaanlage war etwas zu kompliziert zu bedienen, so dass es im Zimmer nicht immer die richtige Temperatur hatte.

Die Gastfamilie ist sowas von hilfsbereit und herzlich. Man fühlt sich wie Zuhause. Das Frühstück und Abendessen ist super. Von hier aus sind Dambulla, Sigiriya und Anuradhapura sehr gut zu erreichen.

Ein wenig Verkehrslärm von der nahen Hauptstraße, aber das hat der positive Rest wett gemacht.

Die Holzhäuser im schönen Garten sind einfach toll und gemütlich mit eigener Terrasse von der man einige Tiere beobachten könnte. Der große Pool ist sowohl morgens,mittags als auch abends für eine Abkühlung großartig. Alles ist gepflegt und sauber.

Die Lodge liegt an der Durchgangsstraße. Für Menschen mit leichtem Schlaf, vielleicht störend, aber das positive überwiegt auf jeden Fall.

Gayani the host was very friendly and polite.

Las cabañitas son preciosas, limpias y amplias. Tienen aire acondicionado y mosquiteras. La piscina es un plus. El ambiente es estupendo y relajante. Gayani y su marido son todo amor y amabilidad, nos trataron estupendamente y nos ayudaron a gestionar el safari de Kaudulla, además de aconsejarnos de excursiones, lugares de interés y otros hoteles sobre nuestra ruta. Los desayunos son deliciosos. Fue la primera parada de nuestro viaje y la mejor. Nos dio mucha irnos de allí y estamos súper agradecidos por todo.

Wij hadden eerst een kamer binnen maar daar hing een benzinelucht,je kon er niet slapen een ander kamer werd gelukkig geregeld. De eigenaren waren iets minder aardig als blijkt dat je de excursies regeld

El mejor hotel en el que hemos estado durante nuestro viaje por Sri Lanka. El trato por parte de Gayani y su esposo fue increíble. Nos ayudaron en todo momento: nos prepararon comida, nos hicieron la lavandería y estuvieron siempre atentos a cualquier cosa que necesitáramos. La habitación estaba muy limpia y todo el alojamiento estaba perfectamente cuidado y mantenido. La pool infinity es espectacular y el entorno invita a relajarse. Lo recomendamos al 100 % para recorrer el Triángulo Cultural de Sri Lanka.

Kleinschalige locatie met prima kamers en een lekker zwembad. Schoon en goed verzorgd. Echtpaar is heel behulpzaam, spreekt goed Engels en helpt met alle vragen. Je kunt ‘s avonds mee eten met een heerlijke bereide maaltijd. Zelfs de kids vonden het top. Ontbijt was ook heel lekker. Echt een heel fijn verblijf en een aanrader.

Très bon établissement. L’hôte est très accueillante et au petit soins pour qu’on se sente bien. La piscine est superbe. Je vous recommande de dîner là-bas c’est excellent !!

Nice place and service, highly recommended

Gayani the hostess was very warm and friendly and made us delicious sri lankan breakfasts and dinner. Her husband JB was like a tour guide driving us to all the different sights and making suggestions for our itinerary.

It would be nice to have a kettle in the room to make tea and coffee.

Sehr schöner Garten und großer Pool.

The rooms were great as expected but the main part were the hosts who made sure we had everything sorted for our travel not just in dambulla or sigiriya but also for the rest of our days in Sri Lanka.

Hele mooie accommodatie. Je zit als het ware in de achtertuin van de hosts met een mooi groot en schoon zwembad, super veel groen en veel dieren zoals eekhoorntjes en verschillende vogelsoorten. De kamer was erg netjes, met klamboe, airco en warm water. De hosts zijn bijzonder vriendelijk, komen een praatje maken en helpen je bij alles wat je nodig hebt.

Het enige nadeel is dat het aan een drukke doorgaande weg ligt. Op Sri Lanka toeteren ze aan de lopende band, ook ‘s nachts. Wij hadden hier wel wat last van met slapen.

После бронирования собственник связался со мной и попросил отменить бронь, потому что произошла ошибка на боокинг. Просил больше денег и что он нам не сдаст виллу за стоимость на боокинг. Мы отменили бронь не хочу портить себе настроение и отпуск.

We had a really nice three nights staying here! Gayani was the loveliest host, making sure we had everything we needed and cooking incredible breakfasts and dinners (definitely take her up on dinner!). We were taken on two excursions to the Cave Temples and to Piduran gala Rock, both were very reasonably priced. Dinner is also very well priced, similar to walkable restaurant options. Most importantly, the pool is amazing, and we spent many hours relaxing and enjoying the weather!

It's a fair trek to the centre of Dambulla, but the owners are happy to help with transportation.

Majitelé byli velmi milý a vstřícní. Dokonce nám půjčili i motorku(samozřejmě za poplatek) takže jsme nemuseli nikde shánět půjčovnu. Autobusová zastávka je hned skoro naproti, poradili nám jak se dostat do dalšího města. Bazén super, snídaně lokální, určitě doporučuji❤️.

Chybí lednice na pokoji, při delším pobytu by to byl asi trochu problém pro nás.

L’eco lodge est incroyable, calme et très reposant. Le lieu est très bien entretenu par le personnel qui est vraiment sympas et bienveillant. La piscine est la cerise sur le gâteau ! Je recommande mille fois.

Superbe guesthouse !! Nous avons eu un accueil très chaleureux, les propriétaires nous ont conseillé et accompagné pour notre séjour. Notre chambre était propre et spacieuse, avec un très bon rapport qualité prix ! La piscine et la végétation sont un plus et très appréciable en fin de journée ! Le petit déjeuner et le dîner sont très bons également. Merci beaucoup pour ces quelques jours passés avec vous et votre accueil 😊

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Everything was very clean and well maintained, which made us feel comfortable from the first moment. The hosts, a lovely husband and wife, were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. They truly care about their guests and go out of their way to assist with anything you need. Whether it’s arranging transport, giving advice about places to visit, or helping you plan your time in Sigiriya, they are always there with a smile. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and freshly prepared every morning. It was one of the highlights of our stay. They also have a very clean and well-kept swimming pool, which is perfect for relaxing after exploring the area. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Sigiriya. You will feel at home here.

De kamer was best vies. De douche stonk, het bed kraakte enorm en er zat best wat ongedierte op de kamer. Van de buitenkant zien ze er heel cute uit de huisjes.

The triple room located on stilts gives a great feel looking into the trees 🌳. Room is large and comfortable. Pool is lovely and good size. Food is tasty and large portions.

A kettle would be good to make a morning tea / coffee.

We had a great time at Sun and Green Eco Lodge. Gayani and her husband are fantastic hosts. They helped us with directions, welcomed us very warmly and looked after us throughout our stay. Gayani is also a great cook. We stayed in a separate raised cabin with a nice view on the garden and swimming pool which were both well kept. The cabin itself was simple but very clean and comfortable. Overall we would definitely come back and recommend this guesthouse.

Having a kettle in the cabin would make the place perfect.

De ontzettend gastvrije eigenaresse die heerlijk kan koken. De safari goed geregeld en er heerste een heel ontspannen sfeer in een mooie tuin.

Onze kamer was op de begane vloer, de 3p, we roken het tankstation wat er naast ligt. Ook de badkamer is hevig aan een verbouwing toe.

Ein wunderbarer Ort. Man fühlt sich sofort zu Hause bei Gayani und ihrem Mann Janaka. Sehr leckereres Essen und super herzliche Gastgeber. Der Garten und der Pool sind sehr schön und die Zimmer komfortabel. Wir waren rund um versorgt mit Tipps und Planungen für die Ausflüge , Janaka fuhr uns entweder im Tuk Tuk in der näheren Umgebung oder mit seinem Auto auf längeren Strecken. Es war sehr schön in der Sun and Green Eco Lodge.

La amabilidad de Gayani. Estuvo muy pendiente de nosotros durante toda la estancia. En nuestra llegada el primer día nos esperaron hasta muy tarde con una cena buenísima y super abundante. Nos ayudaron en todo momento con las excursiones, transporte, etc.

Por decir algo, el ruido de la habitación por la noche, ya que pasa una carretera cerca. Pero en general el alojamiento nos ha gustado mucho y sin duda lo recomendamos.

Wir haben 4 tolle Tage bei Ihnen und in der Region verbracht und wären, wenn wir nicht unsere Reise schon anderweitig verplant hätten, auch sehr gerne noch länger geblieben. Sie bieten Ihre Hilfe beim Planen von Ausflügen an, was wir in Anspruch genommen haben und sehr zufrieden damit waren. Und das Abendessen bei Ihnen ist ein Muss, wenn man die Sri Lanka Küche liebt! Die Unterkunft liegt in einem kleinen grünen Idyll mit einem schönen Pool. Vielen Dank für die wundervollen Tage und wir behalten Euch im Herzen! Und wenn wir wiederkommen, dann kommen wir auf alle Fälle wieder zu Euch!

Die Unterkunft liegt direkt an einer gut befahrenen Strasse, was für jemanden, der es super ruhig haben möchte, stören könnte. Für uns war es jedoch in Ordnung.

Es war einfach alles perfekt. Die Lage ist super, die Gastgeber sind unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Zimmer ausgestattet mit allem, was man braucht. Das Essen war unglaublich lecker und es gibt sogar einen Pool, der immer gepflegt und sauber war!

Domek bardzo czysty, teren obiektu przepięknie zaaranżowany. Czysty basen do dyspozycji. Bardzo dobra lokalizacja blisko Sigiryia, Pollonaruwa oraz Dambulla cave temple. Śniadania pyszne i obfite. Polecam!

Metterei un ombrellone in piscina per fare un po d'ombra nelle ore più calde del mattino.

Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und groß gewesen. Das Personal war sehr nett. Frühstück auch gut und abwechslungsreich.

Am Pool gibt es leider keinen Schattenplatz und keine Auflagen für die Holzliegen. Somit etwas unbequem.

Die Besitzerin war sehr freundlich und hat sich sehr viel Mühe gegeben uns zu helfen und Ausflüge zu organisieren. Die Anlage war sauber und gepflegt, auch wenn die Fotos auf Booking nicht ganz akkurat waren. Zimmer nicht riesig aber für den Preis auf jeden fall ok.

Das Abendessen an der Unterkunft war durchaus lecker. Allerdings wurden uns 6 Dollar pro Kopf dafür berechnet was das dreifache war was sonst in sri lanka bezahlen. Frühstück war auch eher karg.

La decisión más acertada del viaje. El hotel , regentado por un matrimonio encantador, se encarga de hacer tu estancia inolvidable. Desayuno incluido y cena mas que recomendada, tienen una mano fenomenal para la cocina. Te aconsejan sobre las actividades que puedes hacer y Banda se ofrece a poder llevarte a los distintos sitios a muy buen precio. HOTEL IMPRESCINDIBLE PARA CONOCER EL TRIANGULO CULTURAL DE SRI LANKA

La situation géographique qui nous a permis de visiter le Sigirya le Pidurangala, ainsi que les grottes de Dambula mais aussi la réserve de Minnerya. Piscine bien entretenue. Les propriétaires sont très gentils et très serviables. Je peux dire comme tous les Sri Lankais car nous séjournons tous les ans 1 mois dans ce pays que nous aimons.

Tout d'abord il ne s'agit pas d'un hôtel comme indiqué sur Booking c'est une guest house, située en bord de route très fréquentée donc bruyant dont les klaxons. Pas de porte serviette dans la salle de bain, notre chambre donnait sur la terrasse privée des propriétaires , nous n'avions pas de rideaux donc la chambre est dans le noir. Un seul matelas sur un seul transat et transats qui ont vécus ... pas de parasol il est donc impossible en journée de lézarder au bord de la piscine, pas de lampe de chevet nous avons utilisé la frontale le soir pour lire. Petit déjeuner sans grand intérêt.

La struttura è immersa nel verde con una fantastica piscina che viene pulita regolarmente. I proprietari sono gentilissimo e super disponibili, ci hanno organizzato più trasporti e dato tanti consigli. Consiglio di cenare li perché cucinano davvero bene a prezzi onesti. Peccato per wifi che era lentissimo e spesso non andava, il che ci ha reso difficile l’organizzazione dei giorni successivi e di eventuali gite. Inoltre, purtroppo, le camere erano sporche, polvere ovunque e bagno molto trascurato. È veramente un peccato perché la struttura è molto bella e i proprietari sono adorabili, perciò consiglio comunque il soggiorno qui, sperando che migliorino pulizia e wifi.

Un accueil très chaleureux, l'impression d'être en famille avec nos hôtes disponibles pour nous guider et nous accompagner dans tous les endroits à visiter à de très bons tarifs, ce qui nous a vraiment facilité l'organisation du voyage. Le lieu est très propre, les repas maison délicieux et très copieux, la piscine très agréable, boissons fraîches et eau à disposition. Nous avons eu de la chance d'avoir rencontré Gayani et Banda qui gèrent le lieu !

Le lieu est protégé dans un beau jardin de verdure mais comme dans tout les lieux où nous avons séjourné au Sri Lanka ça reste bruyant. Nous n'avons simplement pas l'habitude.

Der Pool war sehr schön, angenehm und wurde regelmäßig gereinigt. Die Gastgeber sind ausgesprochen freundlich und kümmern sich um alles – sogar um die Fahrten, sodass man sich um nichts sorgen muss. Gayani spricht ausgezeichnet Englisch und hat uns viele tolle Tipps für die Umgebung gegeben. Auch das Essen war reichlich und mehr als ausreichend.

Bei der Zimmerwahl sollte man aufmerksam sein – unser Zimmer im Erdgeschoss hatte leider einen sehr starken, modrigen Geruch und auch das Bad wirkte wenig einladend. Zudem wurde uns Leitungswasser auf den Tisch gestellt, ohne vorherige Information, was wir etwas enttäuschend fanden. Den angrenzenden „Herbal Garden“ kann ich ebenfalls nicht empfehlen – hier handelt es sich eher um eine Touristenfalle. Mein Tipp: Vor einem Besuch unbedingt die Bewertungen lesen.

Jamak e Gayani sono due persone eccezionali. Ti fanno sentire a casa propria e sono completamente disponibili nell'accompagnarti nelle varie tappe del viaggio. La casa sull'albero vista piscina e in mezzo alla giungla era un vero sogno. Colazione e cena in guest house con gli altri ospiti, con dei piatti eccezionali. Ci mancherà la loro accoglienza e consigliamo a tutti di andarci.

Die sehr netten Gastgeber kümmern sich um jeden Wunsch, die Zimmer sind sauber und es gibt Fliegengitter vor den Fenstern und ein Moskitonetz über dem Bett. Das Essen ist wirklich klasse! Die Anlage ist ruhig und der Pool ist von Palmen umgeben.

Fantastische accomodatie, met lieve hosts. Ontbijt was inclusief, maar diner was in overleg ook mogelijk! Heel fijn dat er een koelkast met drankjes was. Het zwembad was ruim en super fijn!

Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno meraviglioso al Sun and Green Eco Lodge! Gli host sono stati di una gentilezza e disponibilità incredibili, sempre pronti a farci sentire come a casa. La cucina è eccezionale: colazioni e cene buonissime, con porzioni super abbondanti. La posizione è ottima per visitare la zona, la camera era spaziosa e confortevole, e la piscina pulita e piacevole per rilassarsi dopo una giornata di escursioni in compagnia degli scoiattoli. Un posto che consigliamo assolutamente!

For the price okay. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked. The pool is nice and big.

It is located directly on the main street next to a gas station. Far from the beautiful Sigirija. We definitely didn’t expect that. Outside very unpleasantly loud - in the rooms it works. A bit unloving. Breakfast was also the most spartan we had in Sri Lanka. Plant very uncleanly processed.

The hospitality was excellent! Ms Gayani and Mr Banda were very friendly and warm, and we truly didn’t miss a thing. They helped us a lot, everything was very clean, and the food was delicious! They arranged our transportations, gave us tips for local attractions, and even helped us book a safari. The garden was beautiful, with a lovely pool and lush plants. Overall, we had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay.

The only downside was that the mattress was a bit hard.

A bed to sleep.

Bad experience, staff really unfriendly and pushy. They became hostile real quick after they found out that we didn't book one of their overpriced tours. Expect to pay a 50% Premium if you book one of their tours.

Un excellent accueil ! Nos hôtes nous conseille très bien et nous aide à prendre le bon bus. Ils nous ont réservé un safari de très bonne qualité, nous on conduit (une conduite douce et tranquille, appréciable) à sigiria et visiter le temple de dambulla. Nous avons dîné et pris nos petits déjeuners à l'hôtel, c'est délicieux et copieux. Une belle piscine propre dans un écrin de verdure, appréciable après un safari ou une journée de visite. Une excellente adresse !!

Das Sun & Green war unsere letzte Unterkunft vor der Rückreise in die Heimat und hat uns den Abschied von Sri Lanka nochmals erschwert. Wir hatten das Baumhaus gebucht und waren begeistert von der Atmosphäre mit dem Zimmer aus rustikalen Holz umgeben von Palmen. Unser Highlight war der Pool, an dem wir uns nachmittags sonnen und morgens einige Bahnen schwimmen konnten. Insgesamt war die Unterkunft sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was wir brauchten, von Klimaanlage, über Haartrockner, bis hin zu warmen Wasser (was auf unserer Reise ein Seltenheit war).

Das Frühstück hat uns leider nicht so gut gefallen.
