Succah in the Desert

The silence, the pool the size of the room

There are no nets at the beds, and during the day the flies don't let you rest, breakfast was poor

The most important and unique aspect is the emphasis on preserving the silence of the desert, allowing you to cleanse your mind and spirit. Also, there is a wonderful sense of solitude and freedom, and a deep connection with nature.

I loved everything

Удивительное место - ферма по среди пустыни. Тишина и покой. Хорошо подходит для цифрового детокса и тем, кто устал от людей и городской суеты. На территории фермы домики (суккот) расположены относительно далеко друг от друга. Внутри сукки есть все необходимое для жизни: вода питьевая, туалет (по типу деревенского), посуда, чайник, газовая горелка, чистое постельное белье и одеяла, освещение и матрасики, чтобы ссотреть на звезды. Хорошая природная вентиляция помещения за счет больших окон, поэтому даже в августе чувствуется бриз и не жарко в помещении. Также есть небольшой бассейн, вода в нем чистая и прохладная даже в жару. Душевые для общего пользования находятся рядом с бассейном. Неплохие завтраки утром: яйца, салаты, сыр, чай/кофе на выбор. По четвергам и пятницам проводях бедуинские арухот. В столовой есть отличные настольные игры, книги, wifi. На самой ферме есть лошади, козы, ослик, очень дружелюбные собаки и кошки. Животных ночью не слышно.

В сукке нет wifi, связи и розеток. Зарядить телефон можно только в столовой (хадар охель). Холодильника тоже нет, поэтому лучше заранее побеспокоиться об охлаждении и хранении продуктов или напитков, которые вы берете с собой. На заправках возле Мицпе Рамон напряженка со льдом. К сожалению, есть проблема с мухами, ящерицам, скорпионами и мышами, которые прибегают на тепло, поэтому дверь стоит прикрывать в помещение, смотреть под ноги и проверять на всякий случай циновки, кровать/диван. Где-то недалеко от фермы находится военная база, поэтому если планируете отдых посреди недели, то будут слышны учения и самолеты, порой даже видны ракеты в воздухе. В шаббат все тихо и спокойно.

המיקום, הנוף, השקט

מקום ממש ממש לא מתאים לעונת הקיץ, אין טיפה של אוויר, חנוק מאוד בתוך החדרים ולא היינו מוכנים לכך. אולי הבעיה בנו שבחרנו את המקום הזה ולא הבנו עד הסוף לאן אנחנו מגיעים. אך אני בטוחה בזה שצריך להיות איזשהו אוורור בחדרים בעונת הקיץ הרותחת בישראל ובמדבר בפרט

השהות בבקתה הייתה אכזבה גדולה מאוד ביחס למחיר הגבוה ששילמנו. הניקיון היה סביר, אבל זה הדבר היחיד שאפשר לציין לחיוב. בפועל, הבקתה הייתה כמעט ללא אבזור בסיסי – חוסר משמעותי בנוחות שמצופה ממקום ברמה כזו ובמחיר כזה. הבעיה המרכזית הייתה כמות חריגה של זבובים בתוך הבקתה, ללא שום פתרון בסיסי כמו רשתות בחלונות. הדבר הפך את השהות ללא נעימה בכלל, ולא אפשר מנוחה סבירה. לא פנינו לקבלת עזרה בזמן השהות כי הרגשנו מראש שלא יהיה מענה יעיל, ובסופו של דבר נשארנו לילה אחד בלבד ועזבנו מוקדם. לצערנו, התמורה למחיר פשוט לא קיימת. לא מתאים לרמה שמוצגת ולא מצדיק את העלות כלל.

It is a very special and different place not an hotel. You live by definition in a very nice but basic hat no electricity and running water except lighting small water tank and gas warming

It ia a very unique place, ecological and very quiet, location is fantastic and food is great.

Conditions (toilets and cleaning, hardly electricity and no wi.fi) are rough and not suitable for anyone.

המיקום המבודד מדהים, האוכל היה פשוט וטעים.

הבקתה לא היתה אטומה, היה תנור גז עם דליפה (כאב ראש, בחילות), המארחת לא נעימה.

חוויה מדברית מיוחדת מבודד יחד זאת מחובר לעיר השוקקת מצפה רמון הצוות מקסים ומאוד שרותי

מעט תאורה בחדר הליכה למקלחות במיוחד כשקר

זיכרון מהילדות שפעם היה ניפלא

הגענו והיינו בהלם חושות באמצע שומקום במצב כלכך ירוד חדר לא בטיחותי על הר בחדר היו נמלים והבעלים אמרו שככה זה בטבע אין קליטה ואין וויפיי אין מזגן בחדרים השרותים רחוקים והם במצב מוזנח, דרכתי על מסמר איפה שהילדות שלי חיקו לי מקלחות בלי אור אחרי שעה במקום לקחנו את הדברים שלנו והלכנו!

שקט פרטיות בקתה נעימה ונוחה בריכה חמודה וכיפית

היחס של הצוות קריר ולא נעים גם אם דואגים להכל נותרה הרגשה לא נעימה. היחס לבתי והסקרנית נטה להדגשת איסורים וציניות כלפי רצונותיה התמימים. זה פגע בחוויה.

המיקום הנוף האויר הצח הבריכה היה פשוט מושלם

האינטימיות שבטבע. הבריכה המצננת. ארוחת הבוקר.

For my opinion, it’s expensive. The price for night is very high, but it is a very special event that you can remember for a long time.

Amazing. Best place to connect with nature of the dessert and ourself

The setting is magnificent, the staff is friendly and helpful. This is a perfect place to escape the ordinary world and enjoy the marvels of the desert. It is really off the grid, so suits those who want to relax in nature.

The breakfast was wonderful! The area is gorgeous... we loved the hut we stayed in. We enjoyed drinking tea on our back "deck", enjoying the night sky.. and the quiet...

The booking site was clear that credit cards were accepted. When it was time to pay, we were told it was cash only. They did take a credit card in the end since I didn't have the cash with me. Both the booking.com and the Succah in the Desert website could be more clear that it's cash only. Also, on the booking.com site, there was nothing that mentioned reservations for dinner. We did try to call about dinner, but never heard back, so when we got there, we found out there was no dinner. We did end up driving into town, which ended up being a nice evening. We didn't see anything about bringing our own towels. We used the pool in the late afternoon.. it would have been nice to have a towel, as it was pretty breezy and had cooled down. So, we didn't bother taking showers in the morning... too chilly without a towel, and our clothes would have gotten pretty wet. Next time we'll bring towels... :-)

Dinner was fine.

Delicious food

We had rain which revealed leakages, so we slept really bad due to the constant drippings and having a half wet place. When we told this in the morning to the owner, she just said yes I know, I hadn't had time to make it. She knew rain was coming, so we were puzzled why she didn't give us a room which hadn't leakages because a lot of rooms were empty. Really overpriced compared to what you get!

Absolutely dream location. In the middle of the beautiful desert, you arrive at an ecological farm owned by an incredibly lovely family. You stay in very well made and aesthetic huts that are separated from each other, so you can get all the privacy you may need. This was an amazing experience for us, we are so thankful for the delicious food both breakfast and dinner, for the great guests we met there. Don't think twice about this, just take some clothes and go. Maybe also a flashlight.

Exactly what we were looking for: Tranquil, beautiful, simple. There are a small number of huts with really good distance between them. We were the only guests apart from another couple but I get a sense that this place is always quiet and peaceful. The host is very organised with check-in, breakfast and explaining how the place works. Hot showers throughout! A great little pool and very beautiful gardens and animals. Bring snacks and drinks (water is provided!) if you need lunch or dinner as this is only provided on some days.

Not cheap but shared between two is okay and it really is a very special place. Plus, I can only imagine the costs of building and maintaining a space like this with gardens and animals and pool and what not!

Quiet and peace Personnel Desert

This is a unique place for nature and environment lovers. This place will give you an experience you would not get anywhere else. It is a combination of camping and B&B. Very nice staff, modest but very good dinner and breakfast.

The place is very unique so beautiful. The huts are confortable and far away from each other. We had toilet in our hut but we were in touch with the place for that. Succah in the desert is not near a road so you do feel in the middle of the desert. The staff are very welcome and very nice. If you are looking for an authentic experience it is the place to be. We had the chance to be there the night they make food and the meal was delicious with plenty of different vegetables. I know they don't always make meals so make sure you bring your own food.

We loved everything.

The food was amazing - the vegetarian dinner was delicious and plentiful. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I was picked up by Ariella and Avi. Ariella tracked the arrival time and made sure I arrived safely. Alex was always helpful with advice and her friendly smile.

We had a most enjoyable 2 night stay, disconnecting from the rest of the world. The pool was lovely for hanging out during the heat of the day. Avi very kindly picked us from the from the bus station in MItzpeh Ramon and also ferried us back when we were leaving (he even made sure we were able to top up our Rav card at the supermarket since we spoke no Hebrew). Avi’s son prepared delicious fresh, mostly home-grown food for dinner on both nights, and Alex was warm and chatty to us, making us very welcomed. We also enjoyed playing with the many dogs and Luca, the small cat with a big personality!

Nothing much. Perhaps a little more (written) information for guests travelling without a car on things to do in the area - although we did really enjoy sitting, reading, relaxing, swimming, snoozing with the pets.

Nothing really, it would have been easier for us if the dinner option was an opt out rather than having to contact them to confirm it. I would expect most people would choose the meal as it is remote and the cooking facilities are basic.
