Cabañas Anavai Rapa Nui

Our stay at Cabañas Anavai was absolute perfection from start to finish. The highlight of the property is undoubtedly the amazing sea view, allowing us to witness incredible coastal vistas right from our cabin.The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always going out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed and sharing wonderful local tips about Rapa Nui. Additionally, all of the facilities are great, clean, and well-maintained, providing the perfect blend of comfort and convenience. The location is also excellent, offering a peaceful escape while remaining close enough to easily explore the island's main attractions. We cannot recommend Cabañas Anavai highly enough!

The room was exactly as depicted in booking.com. This isn't a cushy resort...why travel to Easter Island if that is your thing? But it is close to a set of Maoi statues and close walk to everything in town. The shower was hot, the bed was comfortable. Just what is needed for a little adventure travel.

The room was spacious and well-equipped. The pickup between the accommodation and the airport was fantastic. There weren’t any bugs spotted. The ocean view was impeccable. It was close to moai. Miti was very helpful and friendly.

Las cabañas están bien ubicadas, pero falta algo de manteción en sus ventanales. Nos toco un temporal de viento y lluvia y no fue agradable. Sin embargo la persona del aseo nos ayudó con cinta adhesiva.

Muy buen ubicación. Preciosa vista, camas cómodas con blanqueria de excelente calidad. Alojamiento equipado con todo lo necesario para la estancia.

The cabanas are very close to some Moai sights and very easy to go around the centre for food and shopping. The cabins have complete equipment to cook. The rooms were very comfy with great views. We all enjoyed it very much. Would definitely come back and stay here again with my other group. Owner is also very friendly and quick to response. Highly recommend it!

We had one cabana with a clogged toilet and had to wait till the next day to get it fixed. Owner told us that the previous customer threw some things in the toilet causing it to be clogged. It was a bit convenient but the owner responded very quickly and fixed the issue.

Excelente ubicación, cerca de lugares de interés y cerca del pueblo. La vista al mar es espectacular. Cumplieron con todo lo comprometido (traslados). Habitaciones cómodas, limpias y buena vista. Alojamos sin problemas en una cabaña grande, 3 parejas.

The location is unbeatable - ocean views and just a stone’s throw away from Ahu Tahai! Amazing to be able to see the moai statues from our bedroom. Our family of five felt so welcomed by Miti who came to collect us at the airport and had leis ready for us. She also dropped us off at the airport and maintained excellent communication throughout our stay. The two level cottage was spacious enough for us and we loved the views on our short walk into town.

There is no air conditioning inside the property but we opened the sliding doors and there were fans available to use

From the moment we landed at Mataveri airport to the final goodbye before our flight, Miti took care of absolutely everything. Her warmth, attentiveness and genuine hospitality turned our stay into something truly special — far beyond what any hotel could offer. The location is unbeatable: Cabañas Anavai sits just steps from Ahu Tahai, one of the most atmospheric moai sites on the island, famous for its stunning sunsets. Lugar muy tranquilo, se puede caminar al centro y otros lugares concurridos. Al lado de Ahu Tahai para ir a contemplar los moais a cualquier hora (sin entrada ni guía). Cabaña súper bien construida, limpias, cuentan con aire acondicionado portátil, secador de pelo, refrigerador, televisión con internet. También había lavaloza, jabón, papel higiénico y cambio de toallas y sábanas cada dos días. Nos fueron a buscar y a dejar al aeropuerto y la atención de Miti nos encantó!! Gracias por todo 🤍

Me gustó todo, solo sugeriría poner una repisa en la ducha pero es un detallito, solo para hacerlo más perfecto 👌🏻

The location is great but when I requested a room with an ocean view I was told there are no rooms with ocean view. Actually all of them have views of the ocean but 4 and I was assigned #8 with no ocean view 😢

I was to have a non smoking room but the porch at the entrance to the rooms was the smoking area. All that fresh air coming to the rooms also came with the smoke. Since there was no air conditioning I had to sleep with the window open and therefore put up with the smoke. Not a good thing when you have asthma.

Muy buena ubicacion y excelente vista desde las habitaciones. Nos recibieron con flores en el aeropuerto:). En general, fue una visita muy agradable. Lo unico el aire acondicionado portatil hacia mucho ruido, con lo cual no se podia tenerlo prendido durante la noche.

La ubicación es excelente, esta cerca de restaurantes, el Tahai para ver el atardecer, etc. La cabaña tiene lo necesario para acoger a los 4 qué conforman nuestro grupo. Los espacios son buenos y hay un quincho para asados.

La temperatura en la isla es alta y la cabaña no tiene buena aislacion en estructura y ventanas, por lo que en la tarde, la temperatura del interior, sobretodo el segundo piso, es muy alta.

Amazing views and location a short walk into town. Has amazing sunsets with some famous Moai also on your doorstep. Staff were great and ensured we wee picked up and dropped off from hotel according to our schedule.

No aircon in rooms but this is pretty normal for the island. Worth requesting a dehumidifier if staying in Summer.

Brak klimatyzacji, brak środków do mycia pod prysznicem /2 maleńkie tubki z płynem do kąpieli na 3 noce dla 2 osób/. Brak sprzątania lub minimum wymiany reczników przez 3 noce.

De kamer is groot en mooi ingericht. Er is een klein keukentje met (minimale) faciliteiten om een simpele eetmaal klaar te maken. Ligging is fantastisch met uitzicht op de zee een Moais.

De airco werkt niet geweldig. De douche kamer ruikt niet heel fris.

旅馆位置离看日落的石像地方很近约150米，可以每天去看日落。面朝大海。我们住的是一个两层的独栋房子，两个房间在楼上，一个房间在楼下，一个大的阳台，有厨房和两个卫生间；有一个不错的客厅，房房间外面还有桌子和晾衣架。房主提供免费机场接机服务。

房子收拾的不够干净，在楼下卫生间见到一只4cm长的昆虫（可能是蟑螂），打了两次都没弄死，让我们感到不舒服。浴缸底部很滑，光脚在里面差点滑倒两次。第二天用WhatsApp联系房主把垃圾倒了并更换浴室毛巾，但没有回应，结果也没换。房子离镇上商店约1.2公里，买东西要走一段路。

All of staff are very friendly and kind. Once I locked out from the room with the key left inserted in the keyhole, they helped me with great effort and genuine care. Picking up/ Drop off at the airport is also very helpful. And the location is also good to see the view. We can check the condition of sunset every time, then walk to Afu TAHAI when the condition is good. Very convenient for the guest. Facilities are new and clean. We can enjoy local slowly time seeing wide blue ocean.

Miti picked us up from the airport and dropped us off - she was incredibly friendly and helpful with recommendations. Küche und Terrasse waren voll ausgestattet. Ahu Tahai in der direkten Nachbarschaft. Unterkunft mit Meerblick. Sehr bequeme Betten. Ansprechpartner sehr nett und hilfsbereit -》Alles rundum perfekt.

Séjour parfait. L'établissement est mieux que sur les photos. Ambiance cottage cocooning. Très récent, bien entretenu. Miti vous accueille avec un grand sourire. Un souci d'eau chaude au départ, réparé dans l'heure. Situé à 2 pas de Tahai, on peut en profiter matin midi et soir. Peut-être dans le haut du budget mais pour avoir fait le pick up d'autres touristes hébergés ailleurs, il n'y a rien de comparable sur l'emplacement et la qualité perçue

Wonderful location, right next to the ocean and important Moai statues that you can just walk to without a guide, and easy walking distance to town and many restaurants. The hotel provided transport from the airport, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They helped us book a horse ride and a rental car, and made good restaurant and hiking suggestions.

There are dogs at the neighboring property that bark all night long, even though the hotel owners have made complaints to try to remedy the situation. The location is fabulous, and except for the barking dogs the cabana was very comfortable, but bring ear plugs.

Comfortable bed & good water pressure in the shower. It was lovely to be able to sit outside the room and look at the ocean. Location is good - right next to where you view the sunset at one of the Moai. It’s a walk into town but only 10 minutes. We ate at Te Moai Sunset restaurant which was fab and is just 5 minutes from the hotel.

We would have appreciated a tv in our room (other rooms had one) and also a fan - it was quite warm by evening. Hand soap for the so k was provided but we would have appreciated having shower gel and shampoo.

1)ввечері велика кількість величезних жуків ( тарганів ? ) 2)практично не працюючий WI FI 3)несправні холодильники в обох номерах ( працював тільки морозильник ) причому хазяйка ігнорувала наші запити, вважаючи, що все ОК 4) зранку рано будять сусідські півні )

Miti fue siempre muy amable y con disposición a ayudar. La ubicación espectacular, alado de Tahai para disfrutar el sunset y cerca del centro caminando, las vistas de las cabañas y de las diferentes habitaciones que tienen es con vista despejada al mar. El lugar es muy lindo, las instalaciones y cabañas lo tienen muy bien cuidado. Tenía estacionamiento, lo cual el auto que arrendamos pudimos dejarlo sin problema frente a nuestra cabaña. Queremos volver a la Isla pero más días, 5 días se nos hizo muy poco. Muchas gracias Miti!

Indicaron que se realizaba aseo dia por medio pero al llegar finde semana pasaron almenos 4 dias sin realizar aseo hasta el dia de salida donde se olvidaron de nosotros y 2 horas antes del vuelo pude contactar y fueron a buscar ademas nos dejaron sin confort y tuvimos que comprar ya que no habia personal para ayudarnos. Hay tv pero.no se puede utilizar ya que es con cuenta prepagada

La ubicación.. Es insuperable.. No hay un lugar mejor.. Literal los Ahus (moai) más lindos de Hanga Roa están al frente! Y dan para el atardecer.. Increíble! Cerca de la Bahía, del centro.. Pero ala vez muy tranquilo

El TV de muy buena calidad.. Pero no logré conectar la antena de tv y ver canales por antenna. La Isla en general tiene déficit de señal de todo tipo, así que no es problema del local seguramente.

Que se me hizo corto mi viaje ,estábamos muy comodo.

Las cabañas están de lujo , muy bien equipadas y la vista al mar insuperable , ideal para descansar a minutos del centro , y a pasos de ahu Tahai (los moais en que se ve el atardecer), Avi y Miti un 7 ,son muy amables , el tour que ofrecen las cabañas es muy bueno , 100% recomendado , fueron unas excelentes vacaciones con mi mamá , gracias por su hospitalidad y esperamos volver luego 🤗☺️🥰

Excelente ubicación y buenos espacios en la cabaña, jardines y quincho. Camas cómodas, cocina muy bien equipada y en caso de lluvia, el lugar es ideal para disfrutar del balcón del segundo piso o del quincho.

El baño del segundo piso requiere mantención, especialmente en la cabina de ducha, sin embargo se puede utilizar perfectamente. Me hospedé en la cabaña Manoa.

Personnel adorable, mais nous avions réservé une chambre vue mer et une vue jardin, e n’est qu’après la première nuit et après avoir demandé que nous avons pu intégrer la chambre vue mer. D’autant plus regrettable que les chambres vue jardin ont un petit problème d’évacuation avec remontée des odeurs dans la salle de bain qui est vraiment le seul bémol pour une localisation tout bonnement incroyable et des gens d’une très grande gentillesse

The location: the view of the ocean with amazing sunsets (if the weather is not capricious). The spaciousness and cleanliness of my room, the friendliness of the staff.

The location was nice - a bit out of town (about 15 minute walk to reach the main downtown area). But - the view of the ocean really made up for it. Plus we didn't mind walking. The staff provided transfer from and to the airport - very convenient, we did not have to arrange anything ourselves.

A simple drip coffee machine will be a great improvement to the room.

Poor cleaning by staff (mgt says cleaning people don’t do the dishes during guest stay) and insufficient sized trash cans result in infestation of cockroaches. The bathroom faucet was so dirty the dust and water spots had turned sticky/gummy, wouldn’t wipe clean with a clean towel. It started to smell moldy in the kitchen on the second day. I discovered a large cooking pot (the one with burnt food still one it in my picture) that was filled with water and had mold growing on top. Instead of cleaning the pot the former guest(?) or cleaning staff placed the pot under the sink drain (not where the cooking pots are usually stored). Dangerously unhealthy. Staff insisted on standing wine glasses up inside a drawer. Only one was there when I checked-in. When I checked out, there was none. When I opened the drawer (I had laid the tall wine glass down) the one day the cleaning people were in the room, before I knew it the tall wine glass toppled over and broke when it hit one of the plates inside the drawer. INSUFFICIENT utensils and table wear. Not enough towels or hangers on the room. Old dingy kitchen cloths. Dirty used dish sponge. Bring your own because you have no idea where that sponge has been used (floor, feet, shoes … who knows where someone used that dirty sponge). I had a full schedule for my time there. I elected not to attempt anything to do anything during my time there to correct these issues because I wanted to use my time for my enjoyment seeing Isla de Pascua not helping educate the cleaning staff. That is management t’s responsibility.

Excellent big house for a large group. The location is possibly the best in town - a terrace facing the sea and one of the few free access moai sites on the island, and a walking distance to town. The Te Moai Sunset restaurant nearby is great. The house has everything you need for self catering. It comes with 15L water dispenser, too. Miti from the reception met us at the airport, gave us a lift to pick up a rented vehicle and took us back to the airport at the end of our stay. She also offered lots of useful tips, including helping us to book a fantastic private tour that took us to all major sites in a day for less than what you pay at the visitors' centre for the bus tours.

There is no aircon and that was a problem as daytime temperatures were unbearable. At least at night we could clear the air by opening all windows and creating a breeze, but ground floor people had to be careful with the sparrow-sized cockroaches which are ubiquitous on the island. Tricky. The internet did the job, but was cutting out occasionally.

Location was great. Just outside of the main town but close enough to walk to everywhere we needed to go locally. It's a huge property nice and clean.

Lots of the stray dogs will congregate around this property at night and will constantly make noise all night from about 4AM. It was every night during our 3 night stay. Not the properties fault, but this did impact our stay as we were not able to sleep for a full night
