CASA CHICA

Good location, clean and nice rooms and very nice stuff/owner.

Clara was absolutely lovely and couldn’t do enough for us! Lovely breakfast and very close to the centre of El Calafate.

Breakfast was amazing! with fruits, yogurt, coffee, local pastries and bread. Well equipped kitchen. Very attentive property owner. Quiet side of town. You can walk to downtown in less than 10 mins and find all the restaurants and shops

The room was a tad small, but still comfortable. We had a lot of luggage and it was tricky to accommodate; if not for that, it would have been just great.

Gracias Clara.

Nada, todo perfecto.

The owner is quite charming and very helpful. The facility was very clean, and very contemporary.

The facility is in the owner's backyard. It consists of three tiny rooms a small common area and an adjoining kitchen.

Sehr sehr sauber , gepflegt, modernes Design, sehr gutes Obst, hübscher gepflegter Garten, absolut ruhig

La struttura é arredata in modo impeccabile. La proprietaria é gentilissima e ti fa sentire a casa.

Casa Chica is a gem. With just three units it feels intimate and homey. The unit was perfect and with a shared kitchen sitting area it felt like plenty of space. The garden was lovely and perfect for relaxing in the afternoons. The host was so friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend

A perfect stay in El Calafate, very tasteful, very clean, modern, quiet, great location (if you have a car). The host was very charming, kind and helpful (we do speak Spanish, but I think her English may be limited). Breakfast was not served, but everything needed to prepare a plentiful breakfast was provided. Highly recommended. We'd stay there again.

There are three units, each with its own bathroom, and a shared area with a sofa, a breakfast area, and a kitchen. The individual rooms and the bathrooms were on the small side. We were the only guests on first day of our 2-day stay, which was great. We had to share the shared space during breakfast with another couple on the second day, which was fine. But if all three rooms had been occupied, and all wanted to have breakfast at the same time, the shared space would likely feel tight.

New building, good location and all amenities needed. Nice breakfast with free fruit salad. Clara is a wonderful host. Thank you

Piękne nowe miejsce, nieskazitelna czystość. Właścicielka niezwykle miła i pomocna.

Les instal.lacions

Breakfast was great. Owner was amazing.

Beds were very firm. Room was very small.

Clara was wonderful and the rooms are perfectly designed for you stay - it is exactly what you want during a trip; a local who has curated an experience for you to feel at home. Clara answered all of our questions including sending a taxi to the airport to pick us up and suggesting local restaurants. After our visit, we decided to return for two more nights because it was such a great place.

Nada

Beautiful, modern, convenient, had everything we needed

Room is small and felt cramped for 2 people

It was clean, modern, BEAUTIFUL, the landscape was stunning, and the host was incredible!

Nothing-it was a perfect stay.

Clean, modern, private location but close to central….awesome flexible breakfast

Nothing…

Clara was so so so nice 👍 can’t say enough how gracious of a host she was. Drove to a restaurant to go see if my wife’s hat was left there! Incredible hospitality.

Tolle Lage, sehr ruhig, neue und schicke Unterkunft

The breakfast was delicious. Our host, Clara was very kind to provide us with everything we needed including eggs, fruit, yogurt, and coffee. We had a lovely cute shared kitchen space to cook our breakfast. She was also very considerate and helped us out with food recommendations within walking distance from the property (main downtown area), and Clara also helped arrange for a driver to take us to the El Calafate airport. From the room, shared space to the breakfast -everything is done with excellent taste!

The rooms and shared space can be slightly small, however, we got lucky that we didn't have any fellow travelers when we visited.

Very tidy, good location

Very good quality property. Carla is a very friendly host. If you are booking all three rooms it would be like a nice airbnb.

It was a bit unusual sharing the small space. Quite expensive for what it is.

It was such a beautiful property. The linen was of a high standard. The breakfast was wonderful. Clara was so helpful about anything we asked about. The rooms were cleaned each day. The furnishing and rooms were fitted out with great taste. Thanks Clara. It was a wonderful stay.

Nothing

Clara was an amazing host Thank you for a wonderful stay

The facility is new, clean, and Clara was very friendly. The breakfast was great with a lot of fresh fruits.

The room is a little small, and it was very warm. You have to cook your own eggs.

Amazing place to stay in El Calafate! Carla was super friendly, easy to communicate with, very accommodating and helpful. The room was super clean, with a comfy bed and plenty of space. The breakfast is very generous. Good location as close to restaurants and the Laguna Nimez Reserve. Could not recommend more!

Wonderful hotel, we really enjoyed our stay.

We had a lovely stay at Casa Chica. Clara was a fabulous host, very helpful and kind. The room was great, and the breakfast set up worked really well. El Calafate is a lovely town, in an amazing location, with some great restaurants and bars.

Beautiful location, lovely facilities and exceptional hosting. Could not have been looked after better.

Clara the host was brilliant

Casa Chica was a modern, clean, and well-appointed place in Calafate. It’s nice that it has only 3 rooms so it was very quiet and peaceful. The host was very accommodating and provided vegan breakfast options for us. The location is close to the main town area without being right on the main strip, which is nice since it’s quieter.

Loved, loved, loved this place!! Private, clean, modern amenities. Bed was so comfortable. Owner (Clara) is such a kind woman and takes great care of her business. I loved the breakfast tray she prepares each day for each guest with fresh fruit that is delicious! Short walk into town. Felt right at home here.

Everything exceeded my expectations!

All good, great

Can't think of anything

Very clean ! Quiet! The owner is very helpful!!

The room is small!

Lovely new and clean property. Our host was so friendly and welcoming and provided a delicious breakfast the night before so that we could eat before our early morning start. Only a short walk to the centre of town. A great place to come back to after a long day visiting the glacier.

The room was small but we knew that before we booked and considering that we spent all day out and only needed the room to sleep at night this wasn’t a problem.

The location is great, on a quiet street but within easy walking distance to the center of town. The owner was friendly and helpful.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, but small. We are traveling for a month, so we each have a pretty big suitcase. We could have used a little more room to sort through our belongings.

We’ve enjoyed our stay a lot. The room was super clean and nice, and the breakfast was amazing too. On top of that Clara is the nicest host you can imagine. If we‘d come back we‘d stay at Casa Chica again for sure! Gracias por todo Clara!

Claira, the hostess, was great!

The pillows were scrunchy not comfortable.

Really modern, very clean, comfortable bed, exceptional hostess. Perfect location close to the city center as well as the nearby laguna.

The host was fabulous, really welcoming and happy to show us round and explained well how the accommodation worked. The rooms albeit slightly narrow, have everything you need and very clever storage to put everything. The bed was phenomenal, really comfy , the bathroom was large and everything was spotless. The breakfast was fantastic, plentiful, and you don't need to worry about what time to have it (very useful when you're on an early trip), because you get everything you need the night before. The location of the place is perfect, as you are an easy walking distance from the huddle of the town and near the waterfront, whilst being in a really calm and quiet area.

You are sharing a common space in the morning with other guests for breakfast, so if you are a light sleeper I recommend earplugs. They worked for me and I slept great with them.

The room is tight but very clean with stylish decor.

Brilliant host who was welcoming and sought to make our stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. Wonderful property and walkable location into the town.

Clean and comfortable with a lovely personalised breakfast.

Room was ‘snug’.

The property owner Clare is super nice and helpful, room was very clean

If you have a lot of luggages the room can be a bit tiny

Clara was a lovely host!

Spotlessly clean, outstanding host, exceptionally responsive. There are three rooms in a garden annex to the owner’s house, with a small kitchenette area shared between the rooms. The room is small and efficient - not much spare space - but this is as expected from the photos. Breakfast was delivered to our room the previous evening - very nicely presented.

I loved the perfect location between town and Laguna Niñez (which I highly recommend). I loved how spotless, bright, and efficient everything was. Clara was an excellent hostess. She greeted me upon arrival, gave me excellent recommendations, and helped me get an early morning taxi when I departed. There is also a substantial breakfast left in your refrigerator each day, which I did not get to take advantage of because of leaving early each morning. I would love to stay at Clara’s again!

Nothing

Quiet, new, very clean, comfortable bed, pleasant hostess.

Rooms were quite small, not the cheapest even if you pay in dollars (although we were offered a discount for that).

AMAZING hotel, the host is so friendly. Perfect place to stay in Calafate. Highly recommend to anyone. Rooms are so cute, nice quiet street, fantastic fantastic breakfast. Great value for money

Excellent furniture and decoration. The style is modern, clean and luxurious.

Very beautiful, comfortable and stylish!

The facility and design is modern and new, the host is super friendly and helpful .

It was a great experience, great location from restaurants, other hotels and bars. the owner, made the stay even better with her kindness and treatment to all guest. truly recommend if you what a different experience in a zen space. 🧿🙏🏼💙

+Tastefully decorated room and central area. The three rooms are in a building in the backgarden of a residential home +Good location in quiet part of town; walking distance (2 blocks) from main street in town +The owner is very sweet and looks well after what you need as a guest

-The room is very small, but then again you are out most part of the day -You do hear your neighbour in the next room -There is a central area where you can make your coffee and toast your bread. So, it might happen that other guests are having their breakfast (the tray with breakfast is delivered the night before in your room) there when you want to use that area. It happened twice and I waited until they finished.

Located in a quiet area just 5 mins from Main Street. Lovely garden rooms and great breakfast. Clara was so helpful and really cared for her guests. Had a great stay here.

Casa Chica is an immaculate purpose-built 3-unit guesthouse behind the owner’s single family home a fee blocks off of El Calafate’s main drag. Rooms are tiny but modern, and perfect for a short stay. The hostess Clara is incredibly gracious and helpful with arranging taxis and dining reservations. Finally, it is excellent value and she gives a big discount if you pay with crisp U.S. dollars rather than by credit card.

Great location close to restaurants and bars . Very clean room. Caring and attending host.

Great location for walking to downtown shops. Peaceful, clean and comfortable room. Our host had thought of everything to make our stay very pleasant.

There was nothing negative about the property. It’s a compact room but this was what we expected. It is organized in such a way to make the best use of the space.

We loved absolutely everything about Casa Chica and especially the warm welcome and wonderfully kind, attentive service she and her staff provided throughout. It’s also such a beautifully designed, peaceful space.

Nothing!

Everything! Clara and the lady who cleans the rooms are soo nice! The place looks like new and is spotless. The garden is very nice and we'll maintained, is a couple of minutes to walk into the city center and the lake front. We enjoyed our stay so much. If we ever get back to El Calafate, we will stay here.

There is absolutely nothing of importance I would complain about.
