Wunderbare und ruhige Lage abseits der Touristenströme! Moderne und komfortabel eingerichtete Häuser. Ausgesprochen netter und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber! Gutes Frühstück, auf Wunsch auch Abendessen möglich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder! :)))

My wife and I recently stayed at El Arrayan, and we were both extremely happy with everything this hotel had to offer. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding—the owners Nadhira and Pablo are extremely friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The location is simply unbeatable. Waking up to a stunning view of the General Carrera Lake and snowy mountains from our cabin was an experience in itself. The cabin was well equipped, very comfortable and spacious, offering a cozy retreat after a day of adventure. Everything is clean and well-maintained, reflecting the care put into making guests feel at home. For nature lovers and photographers, the surroundings are breathtaking, with endless opportunities for exploration. Another highlight was the food—Nadhira and Pablo prepared delicious meals with a variety of styles to suit every taste. After long hikes, enjoying a great meal in such a wonderful setting was the perfect way to end the day. A special mention to them for their encouragement an guidance to visit magnificent places around Puerto Guadal. This was an unforgettable stay for both of us, and we will definitely come back one day!

We LOVED our stay, the best throughout our Chile trip! From the sweet hosts, to Theo the dog, the delicious food (make sure to dine in for a wonderful 3-course dinner), the cool cabins with lovely views, the comfortable beds, shower and overall location.. Gracias Pablo y Nadira!

Wir waren dort drei Nächte und hatten einen wirklich sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Die Zimmer sind sauber und komfortabel eingerichtet – mit einem schönen Blick auf den See. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die Küche: Wir haben abends immer dort gegessen, und das Essen war wirklich hervorragend. Natürlich auch das Frühstück. Die Besitzer sind wirklich sehr nett. Leider hatten wir Pech mit dem Wetter, deshalb war es umso besser, dass die Unterkunft sehr schön war und man auch gerne mal einen halben Tag dort verbringen konnte. Wer in dieser Gegend Urlaub machen möchte, dem können wir die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall empfehlen

Pablo and Nadira are the sweetest most hospitable couple. They have built a fabulous little lodge with the most amazing views. This was our second visit and we will return again in the future if not only for the most delicious meals of our 7 week trip. You would be a fool to miss dinner here each night. It’s a great value for the quality, creativeness, sweeping views, ambiance and of course the service. The meals are exquisite. The cabins are modern, clean and comfortable. They also have the sweetest dog and chickens too! And the most fragrant lavender.

Everything is amazing, the food was wonderful and the hosts are very helpful and kind. Definitely coming back! ( We stayed 4 nights)

Wir hatten eine einzeln stehende Huette mit Balkon und Seeblick gebucht. Das Holzhaus war neu, sauber und gut eingerichtet mit Holzofen als Heizung. Wegen des Wetters war der Balkon leider nicht zu nutzen, im Zimmer selber wird es mit zwei grossen Koffern dann schon etwas eng.Der super Ausblick macht das aber wett. Sehr zu empfehlen ist das hauseigene Restaurant, sehr leckeres Essen zu wirklich moderaten Preisen. Auch das Fruehstueck war klasse und der Besitzer freundlich und zugewandt.

Nous avons aimé la gentillesse du patron Pablo, l’excellente cuisine, le petit déjeuner généreux, la literie confortable, la décoration des cabanes et la vue. Tout était parfait. La construction et l’aménagement sont de qualité, on voit que tout est pensé et fait avec beaucoup d’attention.

Nous avons été un peu déçu que l’établissement n’était pas au bord du lac mais on ne peut pas tout avoir; une belle vue et les pieds dans l’eau. Personnellement nous aurions préféré que la salle de bain soit séparé par une porte de la chambre. Mais ce sont des détails largement compensés par les la beauté des lieux.

Nadeera y Pablo te cuidan como si fuiste en tu casa. La casita/habitación es un balcón sobre el lago y las montañas, la cama es óptima. Lo mejor es el restaurante, comida seleccionada con plato ricos y muy elaborados. Fueron dos días de fiesta.

Lo mejor la atención de Pablo! Super amable y siempre atento a sumar datos para una gran estadía. El desayuno, el mejor de nuestras vacaciones, lejos! Re completo!!! Las cenas espectaculares!!! Hermosa vista. La cabaña confortable, calentita al prender la salamandra, que estaba lista para encenderse rápidamente. Bien decorada, cálida y de buen gusto. Buen caudal de agua de la ducha y buena temperatura.

La ducha un poco pequeña. En lo personal prefiero contar con sábanas y frazadas en la cama para poder graduar la "temperatura", en vez de un plumón (que no me da opciones intermedias). Se escuchaba levemente el sonido de la cabaña lindante.

The hospital and food were amazing. Our host couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great and based on past reviews we ate dinner both nights. Best dinner we have had on months. Beds were comfortable and plenty of linens were provided.

The sun shines directly on the cabin. Even with the blind closed it was very hot. It was hard to get airflow to cool it off until the sun went down.

Das Zimmer war ausserordentlich bequem zum Verweilen und die Ausstattung war ebenfalls top! Alles war immer blitzeblank und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Das Frühstück war das beste auf unserer 3-wöchigen Reise und auch das optionale Abendessen war mit viel Liebe von Pablo zubereitet. Die Gastgeber waren sehr unkompliziert und wir konnten zum Glück sogar noch eine Nacht spontan dazubuchen.

Es un hotel excepcional ubicado en un lugar privilegiado para las vistas desde todas sus habitaciones. Pablo es muy amable y está dispuesto siempre a colaborar con sus huéspedes, te soluciona todo lo que sea necesario para que la estadía sea inolvidable. El desayuno y los platos de la cena fueron perfectos. Volvería sin dudas, muy recomendable.

Het is een geweldige plek in een prachtige omgeving. De huisjes zijn mooi en de gasheer Pablo en hond Theo zijn geweldig. Hij probeert er alles aan te doen om je verblijf zo goed mogelijk te laten zijn. Hij stuurt allerlei opties voor activiteiten voor de omgeving en is heel verzorgend. We hebben 2 dagen in het restaurant gegeten en Pablo is echt een sterrenkok. Hij maakt heerlijke gerechten. Ewn geweldige plwk.

De douche wn kraan on ons huisje was alle dagen koud en dat vind ik voor een dergelijke prijs eigenlijk noet kunnen.

In my opinion the best restaurant in Chile and Argentina that also has got some very good cabins. In the restaurant it’s not just the fantastic food, it’s also the nice plates, the cutlery, all those small details including how the food is presented and of course the super-brilliant service of Pablo. The cabins have a fantastic view of the Lago General Carrera. I warmly recommend this place.

The Internet could have been stronger in the room.

La atención y amabiliad de Pablo y Nadira. La comida siempre es espectacular. Las habitaciones son cómodas y limpias. La ubicación, a mi parecer Puerto Guadal es el mejor punto base para recorrer esta parte de la patagonia ya que quedas entre atracciones importamtes como Parque Patagonia, Catedrales de Marmol y Parque Jeinimeni.

Everything was above and beyond expectations, to start Nadira and Pablo, who are the owner of the place, are a extremely nice and friendly people. It was really a huge highlight to meet them, they run a very detail oriented operation, in a fantástica location and with great accommodations. The rooms were superb and the food delicious and very gourmet.

Eine super Unterkunft! Pablo und Nadir kümmern sich intensiv um ihre Gäste, wenn diese es wünschen. Jeden Abend wurden wir aufs Feinste bekocht, natürlich in Absprache mit Pablo.

Pablo und Nadira sind die besten Gastgeber, die wir auf unseren bisherigen Reisen kennengelernt haben. Die Unterkunft war einwandfrei, mit Holzofen und einem schönen Ausblick auf den See. Das Essen ist hausgemacht und ausserordentlich lecker. Vegetarische Optionen waren jederzeit möglich. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und können El Arrayan wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank, Pablo und Nadira, für die tolle Zeit!

Heerlijk verblijf in een prachtige cottage, met heerlijk bed en prima sanitair. We keken uit op het meer en ik zou iedereen willen aanraden daar ook 's avonds te eten; de kok is fantastisch!

Wunderschöne Cabaña mit toller Sicht auf den See und die umliegenden Berge. Was den Aufenthalt aber zu etwas ganz Besonderem macht, sind die Gastgeber. Pablo und Nadira sind sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit. Sie haben uns viele Ausflugstipps gegeben und uns mit sehr leckerem Essen verwöhnt. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen – vielen Dank für Alles!

Durch die dunkle Fassade und die grossen Fensterfronten wird es in der Cabaña tagsüber sehr warm.

Everything. What a magnificent place to stay! Incredible view, so gentle hosts and so helpful concerning suggestions of excursions, places to visit. Dinners are very tasty, cooked by Pablo. We will return soon for a night there to appreciate again all those delights.

Little detail: Cabin a bit cold during windy nights but there is a stove to help a bit. Otherwise everything is perfect.

The host was excellent, cooking excellent dinners each night and incredibly attentive. The individual chalets are all modern and well maintained, with beautiful views across the lake. It has everything you need to base yourself to explore out to Patagonia National Park and beyond. Most chalets have a log burner for what can be chilly evenings in the spring. So many good things to say about this place!

Amazing views of the lake, the rooms were clean and cozy and the hosts were gracious in helping us find recommendations for the area. Would highly recommend this place if in the area. The hosts made dinner each night and it was some of the best food we had on Carretera Austral!

Beautiful, modern and clean lodge; plenty of room with a big fridge, very large comfy bed, good shower with plenty of hot water. Huge windows in the sitting area and bedroom looking out over the lake. Restaurant was excellent for breakfast and dinner with Peruvian food, especially the crab cakes - we are there every night!

We had an amazing stay. The room room was very clean and comfortable with a magic view on the Lago Carrera. Pablo and Narita are very kind and helpful, sharing tipps and advices about outdoor activities (Parque Patagonia, Laguna San Rafael, Glaciares Los Leones). The breakfast is delicious and prepared with local ingredients. The restaurant is open for dinner and offers fresh and local food prepared by Pablo and Narita. We truly recommend it!

Pablo was the best host we’ve had in all our trip to Chile, and indeed certainly among the best we’ve ever had in our many travels. Great recommendations on what to see and where to go, excellent dinners, perfect service. It’s hard to imagine how a host could be better. The place itself has one of the best views of the lake, and the rooms, while small, are very comfortable and well-designed.

Two very minor things don’t affect how very pleasant the stay is, but could be improved: if one doesn’t close the curtains, the rooms can get very warm during the day and until quite late in the evening; and there’s no WiFi in the outdoor spaces.

Pablo was simply the best host. I have a nut allergy and he catered to every meal we had in his restaurant. Nothing we asked for was too much trouble. The best stay we had in Chile and will remain in our memories forever. Pablo made recommendations to local must see attractions. Pablo took care and attention to likes and dislikes of food, my husband loves spicy food and Pablo made an extra spicy sauce just for him. Pablos cooking is honestly the best, always top tier meals served. The packed lunches are also incredible!! The rooms are comfortable and clean. We asked for laundry to be done and this was done quickly and affordable. When we read the reviews, we thought it can’t be that good! We will be the judge of that! But it really was!! Evening meal after evening meal, we were blown away by his proficiency and customer services

We had an excellent stay at El Arrayan and will come back here when we have a chance. The cottages are modern and well equipped with comfy beds and a stove (prepare to fire-up before bed time as in other places at Carretera Austral too). Pablo and his wife were super hospital with fantastic and healthy breakfast and gave very helpful recommendations for places to explore around Puerto Guadal (very worthwhile to visit Mina Esquinada, Cuevas de Puerto Guadal and the Maqui waterfall). I would also highly recommend to choose dinner at El Arrayan, it's a modern and delicious interpretation of Chilean food with a regional touch which Pablo artistically prepares. It was probably the best dinners and Pisco Sours we had in our whole stay in Chile. Thank you for the beautiful 3 days!

Our family had one of the older rooms with two twin beds and the recently built cabin with a queen. The rooms had a beautiful view of the lake. The rooms were beyond our expectations. Pablo is an amazing chef - breakfasts were great and we enjoyed the menu at dinner every evening. He also gave great recommendations for activities before arrival and during our trip.

Get heaps of local advice from Pablo, and enjoy the really amazing breakfast (best we have had in Chile) and also the dinner was high combines local tradition with a great taste for special ingredients and combinations at a super good price. Couldn't be better, come here for sleeping or dinner if you are lucky to find availability. ;)

The place was excellent, very comfortable, and clean. The staff was extremely helpful, friendly, and flexible throughout the stay. The place has beautiful green areas around and the views towards the lake were out of this world. On top of everything Don Pablo was a great host and very well-connected with the local community to assist you with whatever you needed from groceries to tours and transportation tips.

Many accomodations in southern Chile deliver value only because of their location, whereas the guest experience is relatively basic. Not so at El Arrayan: the host has hospitality in his DNA and is truly committed to providing a five-star experience. From the warm welcome by the resident dog Theo, the great meals, and the friendly departure, this stay stood out as the best I had in all of Chile!

We liked everything, the accommodation, the landscape, the meals and our host, Pablo, was the best host ever. He cooked some amazing food for us and he helped us with everything we needed. The houses are located in a fairy tale place and they check and clean daily the accommodation. We really felt like home and we hope to come back. If we come back in Puerto Guadal for sure, we will stay in the same place. Thank you Pablo, to you and your wife!

Very friendly hosts and amazing food. And the location is beautiful! Great views and awesome things to do in every direction from Puerto Guadal. As a bonus - fresh firewood and kindling for the stove each night makes for a very cozy cabin.

El Arrayan is a lovely lodge in a beautiful location, but what makes it special is Pablo - owner, host, chef, and Mr. Fix-it. His warmth and kindness made our stay an unforgettable experience.

Exceptional property above the village of Puerto Guadal overlooking the largest lake in Chile. The room was very cozy with a wood stove and king bed with feather bed comforter. Pablo and Nadira, the innkeepers were very service minded and tended to our every need. Pablo is also a gourmet chef and we have a three course dinner each night in the restaurant overlooking the lake and mountains. Very creative menu. Breakfasts were also great with fresh made breads, granola, eggs, salami, ham and yogurt. We stayed three nights here in the middle of our 3 week trip on the Carretera Austral and hated to leave!

This is a lovely property at the moment edge of this very pretty village. The view from our room and the restaurant was spectacular and our host, Pablo was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble and he made lots of good suggestions for visits nearby. Both the included breakfast and Pablo’s dinner options were fantastic! A great place to relax and recharge. We were sad we only had two nights, even a week would be too short! We would happily stay again.

Absolutley stunning views and first class service from Pablo whose Pisco sours and cooking was way way above what we have encountered in the area. Also Pablo’s general approach was exceptionally helpful and better than any we have had previously.

Beautiful location, with a stunning view of Lago General. It offers good access to Parque Nacional Patagonia, Parque Laguna San Rafael, and Las Capillas de Mármol. Great host who was very helpful and accommodating. The meals were delicious, and the host makes the best pisco sour I’ve tried.

It is a bit difficult to reach. We thought it was just a few miles from Puerto Tranquilo—and it was—it’s just that the stretch of the Carretera Austral between Puerto Tranquilo and Puerto Guadal is not in great shape and takes nearly two hours to traverse (if you are at all careful).
