Reviewed Aug 3, 2026Todella ensiluokkainen majoitus, kaikkia pieniä yksityiskohtia myöten. Täällä oli ilo yöpyä :) Naapurusto oli rauhallinen ja talolle oli helppo tulla autolla. Myös sisäänkirjautuminen oli sujuvaa, saapuminen joustavasti oman aikataulun mukaan.

Im oberen Schlafbereich lässt sich nur ein Fenster öffnen, so dass an wärmeren Tagen kein Durchzug möglich ist. Im Wohnbereich fehlte mir eine Musikanlage bzw. TV-Anlage. Die TV-Anlage im Schlafzimmer ist so platziert, dass die TV-Anlage nicht nutzbar ist.

Reviewed Dec 18, 2025Ihana talo! Todella kauniisti sisustettu ja toimiva, vastasi kuvausta. Sängyt mukavat ja valaistus todella kaunis. Kiva kun keittiöstä löytyi kaiken muun oleellisen lisäksi leivinpaperia, suolaa ja suodatin pusseja. Todella helppo sisäänkirjautuminen ja majoittajaan sai hyvin yhteyden.
Joulukuun puolivälissä hieman viileää keittiössä, mikä on vanhassa talossa oletettavaa. Emme ryhtyneet kuitenkaan lämmittämään takkaa, jottei yläkerrasta olisi tullut liian lämmin. Keittiön veitset kaipasivat teroitusta, eli ei mitään vakavaa tai ylitsepääsemätöntä. Tänne on tultava toistekin!

Reviewed Nov 10, 2025Ihana söpö pikkutalo, upeasti remontoitu. Hyvä sauna. Ylellinen. Kuvista näkyy hyvin, mitä on. Ja ennenkaikkea superpuhdas. Sitä arvostamme. Annamme arvioksi vähintään 10+. 😃 Täältä pääsi kivasti kävelemällä Porvoon idylliseen vanhaankaupunkiin. Jos olisi oltu pidempään ja säät sallineet, niin oltaisi käytetty pyöriä, joita talo tarjosi. Idyllistä aluetta. Mukava yöpyminen aikuisten lastemme kanssa isänpäivää viettäen.
Ei mikään jäänyt vaivaamaan, mutta tiedoksi vaan, että ilmeisesti ruokakauppa ei ihan kulman takana, jos tarvitsee ruokaa ostaa. (En itse käynyt kaupassa, joten en ole varma sijainnista). Suosittelemme täysin tätä paikkaa.

The neighborhood is quiet and lovely. The host was kind and responded quickly. We are very grateful that we were able to spend a wonderful holiday in Porvoo.

Reviewed Aug 31, 2025Vanha Porvoo oli lyhyen kävelymatka päässä. Lailla Sand oli kaunis ja viihtyisä, siellä oli hyvä olla! Piha oli kaunis elokuussa, ja olisi ollut ihana oleskella pihalla, tai pyöräillä Lilla Sandin polkupyörillä, jos ei olisi satanut vettä
Keittiö ja alakerran kylpyhuone on rakennettu pitkille ihmisille, onneksi seurueestamme löytyi sellaisiakin.

Price is really reasonable for this level of experience, I'm happy we switched hotel to Lilla Sand! Walk to old town is short and easy to find.

Reviewed Aug 8, 2024Gorgeous place to stay! Just lovely with everything you could need, and the sauna and bikes were an absolute bonus. Only stayed one night and wished we had booked for more just to enjoy it.
The 4 beds (one double + 2 singles) all in one loft area so good to be aware of that. Instructions for the washer/dryer would have been great.

Reviewed Jun 27, 2024Lovely, renovated little villa. Spotlessly clean and well appointed. We had a very comfortable stay and would definitely recommend this property. Walkable to old town. Quiet neighborhood. Host was easily contactable and was friendly & helpful. Perfect end to our 2+ weeks in Finland.
We are used to sleeping in completely darkened rooms, so the lack of fully blockout shades in the bedroom and the long summer daylight nights would have been a problem had we not packed eye masks.

Everything is studied in the minimal details and it really looks like to be in a luxurious hotel. Even the sofa bed is as comfortable as a true bed! the house was super clean and comfortable, really suggested!
