Very spacious, clean and the location was very central.

WiFi was not the best, but we know it is like that in most places in Egypt.

Beautiful comfortable rooms, private pool, clean and peacefully set back from the river side. Amy and Mahmoud were amazing hosts. With great advice, check in, helping us book wonderful Balloon ride and Felucca trips.

We were met by Amy and Mahmood, the hosts when we arrived, having them sort out our pickup. They greeted us with a lovely platter of fruit, which kept us going throughout our stay. They were extremely helpful throughout our stay, helping us arrange boat rides and just giving some useful local advice. Amy was extremely communicative prior to our arrival, answering any queries and questions we had! The villa itself is huge. It is spacious and clean. It has a large pool, which is amazing to swim in on a hot day. The air conditioning in the bedroom is very affective and the kitchen is well stocked. The location is good, with a short boat ride across and you can visit most of the main sites. There is also a lovely shop a couple of minutes walk which charges local prices to all, so it doesn't feel like we are being ripped off. A lovely stay!

This is out of control from the property, but the surrounding area was in constant construction, which wasn't an issue in the night, however, during the day, when we wanted to use the pool, we had unfortunately a few observers, so if privacy is what you want, sadly this cannot be. The food places in the surrounding area are also to be questioned. We have travelled all over the world, yet found it extremely hard to find a decent food place that didn't make us sick. All the better we had a kitchen at our disposal!

La villa est magnifique, très joliment décorée dans un style oriental où nous nous sommes sentis complètement dépaysés durant ces 2 jours. Tout était propre, les chambres sont spacieuses (literie hyper confortable) et la piscine top (les enfants ont adoré), idéal après les visites sur Louxor. La présence d'une machine à laver était vraiment un plus ! Merci aux hôtes pour leur accueil et leur gentillesse. Un bon plateau de fruits nous attendait à notre arrivée :-) Ils étaient également disponibles pour nous proposer de l'aide pour nos visites durant notre séjour. Je recommande vivement cette Villa pour un séjour en famille sur Louxor. Il est parfaitement situé à 5 minutes de petits restaurants locaux et pour la traversée de la rive est. C'est sûr nous logerons de nouveau ici pour une prochaine visite de Louxor.

This property is in an excellent location on the West Bank. Amy and Mahmoud personally welcomed us when we arrived and they helped us to book our onward taxi to Aswan at the end of our stay. We had originally booked for 3 nights but ended up staying for 4 as there was so much to see in Luxor. The villa was spacious and clean and the swimming pool was lovely. The villa was on a quiet lane just a few minutes walk away from the restaurants and shops. It felt very private and safe and we loved it! Really handy for hopping in a taxi to the Valley of the Kings or for an early morning balloon ride. Thanks so much for a memorable stay.

We would have benefitted from 2 sets of keys as our children liked to explore the area without us!

Située sur la rive ouest calme, restaurants accessibles à pied et passage à l'est très facile grâce aux nombreux bateaux pour traverser le Nil. Amy la propriétaire, très gentille avec de bons conseils et apporte toute l'aide souhaitée. Je recommande vivement cette villa pour quelques jours de visites à Luxor.

The villa was just like the pictures. We loved that it felt like a home. Pool was a welcome bonus after a hot day sightseeing. Amy and Mahmoud were very helpful in recommending tours and places to eat.

Villa Nur is a beautiful property, spacius, clean and close to all attractions. The swimming pool is fantastic and refreshing. The Hosts, Amy and Mahmoud, are wonderful. They are very kind and non-invasive. Before our arrival they organized everything impeccably, both the tours and the transfers. And then they offered us fruit, cheese, butter and advice on how to get around and were to go. In our many travels we have met many kind hosts, but Amy and Mahmoud do their job with love, with passion and we thank them for treating us very, very well.

Erg mooie en comfortabele villa, met alle noodzakelijke faciliteiten (winkels, fietsverhuur, restaurants...) in de omgeving. Ook snel te voet of met de fiets in de natuur.

Veel bouwactiviteit in de omgeving, doch enkel overdag en uiteraard waren de gastheer en -vrouw daar niet voor verantwoordelijk. Bovendien waren we overdag meestal met de fiets of te voet onderweg in de westelijke nijlvallei.

Vše v pohodě, majitel domluvil exkurze za dobrou cenu ubytování odpovídá realitě Čistý bazén, velmi dobrá poloha za 10 minut a za cenu 100 Egp převezou na druhý břeh, centrum Luxoru (i když že začátku chtějí 20$) POZOR na podvodníky, kteří se vydávají za kuchaře a mají historku že jdou momentálně nakupovat super egyptské koření,.

Těžko bylo najít, navigace dovedla, ale chybí označení na domě Gold's Villa, internet velmi pomalý nebyly hygienické potřeby, mýdlo, šampón prášek do pračky V celém domě slabé El. osvětlení

There was nothing we didnt like.

The property is just amazing. Located on the West Bank, it’s in close proximity to all the attractions. The host family - Mahmoud and Amy were so wonderful. They treated us like their family members. They organised a local village dinner for us where Mahmoud stayed with us for an evening. He really made us feel as we have a family there in Egypt. Apart from the stay and dinner, Mahmoud also organised the hot air balloon ride and the excursions of the city at a very very economical rate. When we ran out of cash Egyptian pounds, he handed over his card to us and told us to repay later. He took us to a bank in the middle of night and got the money exchanged at an ATM. I would highly recommend to anyone who wishes to experience a local family life.

From the beginning, we were welcomed as special guests and had an amazing experience during the entire stay! Amy and Mahmoud were so helpful with every little details and recommendations, it really made a massive difference to the appreciation we had for our stay. They also organised tickets for the dawn hot air balloon tour as well as private car to Aswan - nothing was too much for them and we felt at home the entire time! The property is beautiful, spacious, clean and has everything you would need. Unfortunately we did not get to use the beautiful pool due to time constraints, but it was always spotless and well maintained.

We had a lovely stay at Villa Nur. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed, and the kind hosts were always ready to help with anything we needed. Great value for money and a relaxing atmosphere—highly recommended!

C'est un lieu exceptionnel. Une villa immense, deux belles chambres, de grands lits avec une bonne literie, une cuisine bien équipée, une belle décoration, et une piscine ! Nous avons adoré, les enfants aussi. Le propriétaire pe aussi organiser des excursions au tarif très raisonnable. Merci !

La piscine a été très appréciée de notre famille. Villa dans un endroit tranquille, mais un peu perdu. Maison spacieuse et agréable.

L'endroit ne correspondait pas à la position sur Maps et il a été difficile d'atteindre et se faire comprendre par la personne responsable. Attention il faut payer en cash, soit en dollars soit en euros.

The villa was amazing. Asraf and Mohmed was fantastic. Always happy to help in whatever way we wanted. Couldn't have asked for better people to help us with our holidays.

It was difficult to find villa. Maybe co ordinates on the booking website for the drivers . Nothing else to say was bad as everything great.

L’établissement était incroyable, tranquille et bien placée au bord du Nile et proche de magasin. Tous ce qu’il faut à côté. Les organisations touristiques avaient du mal à localiser notre hébergement mais nous trouvions très facilement un arrangement en rejoignant au Nile à 2 minutes à pieds. Notre hôte Achraf et son fils Mohamed nous ont merveilleusement aidé et conseiller dans chacune de nos activités et ont pris soin de nous :) Ils nous ont proposé un repas préparé par sa femme pour vraiment pas chère et avec une très bonne quantité (en plus d’être délicieux) directement ramené chez nous. Il a des bons contacts pour traversé facilement le Nile afin de visiter Louxor (Ahmed). Je recommande fortement ! Nous étions un couple de 21 ans et nous nous sommes sentit en sécurité.

Great location situated on the West Bank (valley of the kings side). Surrounded by farmland and some villas, it's lovely and quiet. Some shops and restaurants nearby along the edge of the Nile. If you need to get across the Nile, simply use the local ferry or get a speedboat closer to Luxor Temple and central Luxor. Villa is very clean with 2 nice bedrooms with air conditioning. Clean kitchen with oven and large fridge freezer. Bathroom is spacious and clean with shower. Large living room with flat screen tv and comfy seats. The swimming pool is fantastic and you get the sun nearly all day. It is cleaned each morning, so it's spotless, including the surrounding area. You can go up on the roof and catch the last of the sun in the late evenings. Would gladly stay again!

너무 좋아요 독채 통채로 쓰고 수영장도 있고 음식도 할 수 있고 여기 때문에 룩소르 또 오고싶어요

Perfekte Lage am Westufer des Nils, in der Nähe zu Restaurants, Cafes, Shops. Ruhig gelegen und dennoch sehr zentral. Der Gastgeber Ahmed ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Er hat einen Tag mit uns in Luxor verbracht und uns die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten gezeigt. An meinem Geburtstag waren wir in einem typisch lokalen Restaurant essen und Ahmed hat als Überraschung eine Geburtstagstorte für mich organisiert. Nochmals vielen lieben Dank für diese tolle Idee! Er ist sehr tierfreundlich, was in diesem Land leider nicht selbstverständlich ist. Die kleine schwarze Katze in der Villa wird von ihm versorgt, wenn keine Gäste da sind. Das ist sehr lobenswert! Wer tierliebe Menschen unterstützen möchte, ist hier genau richtig.

Très belle maison, très propre et confortable. Piscine fraîche en février mais très agréable. Attention uniquement aux glissades autour pour les enfants. Très bons échanges avec les hôtes, bons conseils et chauffeur vers la vallée des rois très sympa. C’est facile d’aller à pied rejoindre les bateaux pour traverser la rive en famille. Environnement autour de la maison très calme.

We had an amazing time at Gold’s villa! Ahmed and Hamada organized our pick-up in Louxor and brought us safely to the house. The house is amazing, very quiet and perfectly located on a West Bank of the Nile. A perfect place to relax after a busy day in the temples or at the souk. The pool is clean and refreshing. Ahmed helped us organize day trips and is very knowledgeable about the region! Thank you for an unforgettable time!

Bij aankomst heeft de host (Ahmed) ons op laten halen van het vliegveld. Vanaf dat moment regelde hij echt alles voor ons. We zijn diverse momenten met hem, of met chauffeurs/gidsen die hij had geregeld op pad geweest en hebben tientallen historische locaties in de omgeving bezocht, een ook nog een ballonvaart gemaakt. Ook heeft Ahmed een chauffeur voor ons geregeld om ons naar Aswan te brengen, vanwaaruit we een Nijlcruise gemaakt hebben. Toen onze dochter jarig was heeft hij een terras geregeld met taart en een aantal van zijn familieleden om het feestje te vieren. Op de laatste avond heeft hij met zijn zus en haar twee kinderen en zijn moeder bij ons gegeten. Ahmed heeft ons een unieke ervaring laten beleven.

Er zijn een aantal zaken waar we tegenaan gelopen zijn. Overigens zijn dit zeker geen zaken die te maken hebben met de accomodatie of met de host, maar algemeenheden in het Egyptische straatbeeld. Als eerste: iedereen biedt zijn 'diensten' aan je aan. Je wordt voortdurend aangesproken door mensen die je iets willen verkopen of anderszins aanbieden. Hierbij moet worden aangetekend dat de gemiddelde Egyptenaar een zeer karig inkomen heeft. Dan is er sprake van omkoping op grote schaal, waarbij het in de dagelijkse praktijk om kleine bedragen gaat. De inflatie is enorm en het zwarte geldcircuit draagt daar in grote mate aan bij. Op straat word je aangesproken met de vraag om euromunten te wisselen voor papiergeld en ook is het mogelijk om tot wel 50 Egyptische ponden voor een euro te wisselen (de bank geeft een koers van 33:1). Ook toeristische bedrijven rekenen veelal met een koers van 50:1. Er wordt ook veel gebedeld en op toeristische plaatsen staan 'gidsen' en andere figuren die foto's maken, of wat uitleg geven en daarvoor geld verwachten (20 tot 50 Pond). Op het vliegveld springen meerdere kruiers op je af om je koffers te dragen, ook weer tegen betaling en ook op de toiletten wijzen mannen de weg naar de zeep- en handdoekautomaat in de hoop op een fooi. Het advies is om niet teveel te geven, zoals gezegd tussen de 20 en 50 Pond. Wees voorbereid op wat wij zijn gaan noemen een bedelcultuur.

Mooie nette villa op een rustige groene locatie van alle gemakken voorzien. We hebben er een gerrlijke tijd gehad en de eigenaar is erg behulpzaam.

Sehr zentrale Lage, ganz nah zum Nil, einigen Restaurants und Shops oder auch den Booten für die kurze Überfahrt zum Luxortempel in Richtung Eastbank, aber dennoch absolut ruhig in einer Seitenstraße der Westbank, nahe Ramlastreet gelegen. Owner und Personal sind jederzeit erreichbar, sehr freundlich, umsichtig, sowie äußerst hilfsbereit und bemüht allen Wünschen nachzukommen. Wer sich Privatsphäre wünscht, bekommt sie hier zu 100 Prozent und kann sich wie im eigenen Heim/ Castle fühlen. Die Villa haben wir, wie ein kleines orientalisches, privates Schlösschen, fernab von allem Trubel empfunden. Wohlfühatmosphäre durch die nubische Bauweise, die Himmelbetten, das Mobiliar und nicht zuletzt den traumhaften Pool, direkt vor dem Schlafzimmer, war an der Tagesordnung. Ruhe und Entspannung ebenfalls. Super, für zwei Personen top ausgestattete Villa, sehr bequeme Betten und Fernsehcouch, schöner Eßbereich, sowie eigener Villa-Zitronenbaum neben dem Pool. Das tägliche Sonnenbaden, im Pool, ein Gedicht!!! Wir sind so begeistert, dass wir auf jeden Fall wieder kommen werden, wenn wir dürfen und die Villa auch noch buchbar und hoffentlich nicht an unseren möglichen Terminen ausgebucht sein sollte.Diese Villa wurde mit großer Liebe zum Detail gebaut! Apropos Liebe: Wir hatten sogar unsere kleine schwarze Hauskatze, namens Lilli, die sich über die täglichen, ausgiebigen Streicheleinheiten, richtig dankbar gezeigt hat. Wir haben ihr einen Trog und Katzenfutter besorgt und sie wurde von Tag zu Tag zutraulicher, liebevoller und verschmuster. Wir hoffen inständig, dass sie hier auch weiterhin bei guten Mietern und liebevollen Menschen, ihr unbeschwertes Fleckchen Erde finden kann und ihr viel Liebe zu Teil wird, denn sie ist, wie ein kleines verschmustes Baby, so richtig goldig und süss.....man muss sie einfach lieb haben.

Es hat uns absolut alles super gut gefallen!!!!! Und das überwiegt sogar zwei Punkte, die somit kaum erwähnenswert sind, weil sie sich durch all die wunderschönen Erfahrungen und Erlebnisse, die im Zusammenhang mit der Villa stehen wieder relativieren. 1. Der kostenfreie WLAN-Empfang ist im Hausinnern, warum auch immer, leider nicht ganz so gut, je nachdem, wo man sich gerade aufhält. Auch die Mobilen Daten helfen hier nicht immer weiter. 2.Die Küche hat leider keine Entlüftung, kein Fenster, bzw. keine Dunstabzugshaube beim Kochen, wobei man dadurch bedingt durchaus komplett im Dampf stehen kann/wird.....ohne offene Haustüre und gleichzeitig geöffnetes Badfenster undenkbar. Es gibt eine schmale, längliche Holz-Glastüre, hinter der sich ein kleiner Außenraum mit Freiluft verbirgt, die jedoch verschlossen ist.

Alles!!! wir haben unsere Traumvilla gefunden. Nochmals ein herzliches Dankeschön für den tollen Aufenthalt!

The villa was very clean and very comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The pool was lovely and a very welcome addition. The staff were great, non-intrusive and on hand if needed. The location was great, just a short walk from cafes, restaurants, shops and the boat jetty for access to Luxor East Bank. We would definitely recommend and would stay again.

We liked being on the West Bank and having our own private villa. The host ensured we had someone to tend to our extra needs (like arrange bikes to ride and bring meals, if we desired). Though the villa was tucked back in what felt like an alley, I felt safe around the area. Good location! Short walk to the boats crossing the Nile.

The West Bank is quieter and more rural than the East Bank. I was prepared for that and liked it better than the East Bank but others in my group were a little uneasy about how rural it was. In all, we had a nice stay!

Totally recommendation! The owner and his staff are incredibly dedicated to make you feel at home. They have received us at Very late hours and provided food , the day after they came with an amazing breakfast we stayed just one day and they booked for us all transport and hot Air balloon with priority time to make sure we would get to the airport on time. They are truly honest and always responsive at any time. Pool is very nice , bed is huge and comfortable, and the kitchen is fully equipped and being on this side of river gets you to a more private and peaceful place. To go to the other side of the river just take a public boat that runs 24 Hours and it's 5 MNt from the villa! It's 20 MNt from the valley of kings:) big thanks for everything!

Loved loved loved my stay at this house everything was perfect so clean and everything you needed was there..staff came every day to clean pool and outside very pleasant especially the young boy that came sorry i didn't know his name..stayed alot in luxor this was my favourite place quiet so you can relax but really near to everything.Thankyou for making everything so nice dor my stay ❤️ cats and dogs in street came to stay also so if you stay please look after them they are so nice just need abit of love 🥰

it was on the other side - West Bank and far from everything. location for Luxor was not great, if you are travelling as girls only, it was hard as at times we felt unsafe. drivers couldn’t also find the Villa.

very well equipped nice cozy villa where you can rest and take your privacy from street life. The host was extremely friendly and helpful without disturbing us. Our stay there was one of the best in Egypt.

The communication with owner and staff was very nice. House was clean and big enough for 4 person. The water boiler was broken in the kitchen and they bring a new one for us.

The house was a little bit cold during the night one room had electrical heater but the second room hasnt. So we exchanged the heater it is better to put heater for both rooms.
