Het is een heerlijk rustig gebied bij heel veel in de buurt. Het appartament is van alle gemakken voorzien

Het is een super mooi appartement met een fijne ligging. Je loopt zo naar Jan Thiel beach en met een huurauto ben je zo overal! Er is een mooi zwembad en een ruim terras. De eigenaren zijn onwijs behulpzaam en staan direct voor je klaar wanneer je iets nodig hebt!

Die Ausstattung, die Sauberkeit, schon alles sehr abgewohnt, teilweise Schimmelbildung, Safe funktionierte nicht, wurde aber nach unserer Reklamation behoben

Nuestra estadía fue familiar, mi hijo de 6 meses pudo descansar muy bien porque el sitio es bastante tranquilo y acogedor. Volveríamos sin duda.

Todo nos gustó realmente

Wat een fantastische plek! Villa Sol Paraiso is een luxe en prachtige accommodatie (penthouse/superior villa) waar alles klopt. Wat ons meteen opviel: - Ruime keuken en woonkamer van alle gemakken voorzien. - Prachtig en enorm groot terras met een grote eettafel, heerlijke loungeset met schaduwdoek en fijne ligbedden en een eigen bubbelbad - Drie grote slaapkamers met heerlijke bedden, airconditioning en eigen badkamer met toilet. Het geheel is in werkelijkheid nog mooier dan op de foto’s. De eigenaren waren ontzettend vriendelijk en goed bereikbaar. Vooraf ontvingen we via WhatsApp allerlei nuttige info over aankomst, ontvangst en zelfs tips over het huren van een auto. Tijdens ons verblijf waren ze ook altijd goed bereikbaar. De ligging is ideaal: op loopafstand van Jan Thiel Beach waar je meerdere beachclubs restaurants en een supermarkt vindt. Maar om de andere stranden en de rest van het mooie eiland te verkennen is het aan te raden om een auto te huren.

Als je dan toch iets moet noemen dan is het enige wat jammer was, is dat er in de grote woonkamer/keuken geen airconditioning aanwezig is. Dit is waarschijnlijk niet mogelijk door de hoge plafonds en de omvang van de ruimte, en doordat de tuindeuren vaak openstaan. Er staat overigens wel een grote ventilator, die wel wat verkoeling biedt. Gelukkig hebben alle slaapkamers wel airconditioning, dus in de nacht geen last van de warmte.

Wij verbleven 12 nachten in het prachtige twee kamer appartement op de begane grond. Van het moment van ontvangst tot aan vertrek hebben we ons hier helemaal thuis gevoeld. De gastvrijheid van Colin en Melissa. Het heerlijke zwembad. De rust, met de drukte van Jan Thiel op 10 minuten lopen. Wij gaan hier zeker terugkomen en kunnen niets minder dan een 10/10 geven!

De ruimte van het appartement, grote koelkast en diepvries, het zwembad. Fijne bedden, mogelijkheid om zelf te koken.

The hosts do REALLY care about their guests - speak with the hosts if you miss anything and they do take care. The apartment was really clean. The kitchen was small - but no need to clean anything .... Special is, that the apartment is not new - but everything that we use use (towels etc.) did feel new ... the owners do try to keep it new. Thank you.

All fine ... we did not want to have party, just sit down and relax ...

Reading all the reviews about Curaçao is funny, no disrespect, but if you're going to the Caribbean, expect heat, mosquitoes, sun, and import prices. We had a Goudhaen rental car, perfect, and the airport transfer was also fantastic! And now for the main point: the location. The penthouse is absolutely fantastic, hygienically clean, with multiple swimming pools, spacious, and fully equipped! Within walking distance of a supermarket, a fantastic beach, a historic fort, and wild flamingos. I even managed a short, sporty run to the Sea Aquarium and back. It was a great route, so absolutely everything was close by. Finally, the host, hostess and little girl hostess. Luckily, we didn't need them, but they were available, and it was always a pleasant experience! Our only criticism was answered quickly and honestly. 10/10 👌

What I didn't like? Mosquitoes on the island, Venezuela nearby, the actions of the current president of the USA, the fact that I had to use SPF - plenty, but nothing the hosts or the location could control.

Appartement was zeer schoon, ruim en prima uitgerust. Mooie badkamer met ruime stort-douche en dubbele wastafel. Erg fijne bedden en kussens. Heerlijk geslapen. Communicatie met beheerders is uitstekend en alles is bespreekbaar. Heel prettig!

Beheerder is druk bezig om de kwaliteit van WiFi, van met name ons appartement, te verbeteren; dat was wat instabiel. Alle vertrouwen dat dit goed gaat komen.

de locatie was top lag zeer dichtbij het strand, de accommodatie zag er perfect uit met een goede wifi verbinding, nieuwe bedden, douche zag er keurig uit, bij aankomst werd ik goed ontvangen, heerlijke airco op de slaapkamer,

voor mij was er geen verbeter punt, bij vragen kon je terecht bij de verhuurders wat ik een plus punt vind dat de verhuurders zelf op het eiland wonen dus ook bereikbaar zijn voor vragen.

We wisten niet hoe de oven werkte. Maar verder niet in verdiept.

Villa Sol Paraiso provides a convenient and comfortable space, with a shared well maintained pool. The location is ideally suited for those wanting to explore the surrounding areas.

The apartment can be very hot and we felt should have an AC unit also in the living area. In our opinion fans are not enough to make it comfortable to sit in.

Wonderful property in a great location, Melissa and Colin are great hosts who are very quick to respond if you need anything. Walking distance to Jan Thiel Beach / Zanzibar and a great outdoor set up to relax. Rooms were spacious and the rain shower was like something from a spa. 10/10 stay

It was a large 2 bedroom room. The owners were excellent hosts.

I found a/c in bedrooms only not convenient. The other parts of the unit were stuffy. I also think Jan Thiel is an out of the way area as traffic to go anywhere was horrific.

Very nice apartment house with own pool that is only shared with the few other guests. Everything was very clean and communication with host excellent. Location is not at the beach but close by (~10min walk) and I’d say it’s one of the best places to stay because it’s quiet, spacious and really nice. At the beach it’s quite crowded but also really nice. There are several beach bars with sunbeds and supermarkets close to the house. All in all, we were absolutely happy with our choice and can highly recommend to stay here.

There were some construction works during our stay so there was some noise but I think visitors will benefit from the results when finished.

Clean and peaceful

Our stay at Villa Sol Paraiso was nothing short of wonderful. The accommodations were extremely comfortable, and the atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing getaway. The villa was well-maintained and provided all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Colin, the host, went above and beyond to ensure that everything was in order. He was always available and never hesitated to assist with any requests. His kindness and attentiveness truly made the experience even more enjoyable.

Great location, quiet residential neighbourhood, private parking, walking distance to Jan Thiel Bay and Caracasbaai; spacious, modern and well-equipped - very good value for money!

No screens - which is a problem as mosquitos are always an issue, just one screen at the kitchen window would help a lot, another in the bedroom would make it perfect. The open floor plan is nice, a sliding door between the bedroom/walk-in-closet and the restroom would create additional privacy.

Great apartment, it has everything you need. Everything is very clean and kept clean every few days. Spacious bathroom and shower. Airconditioning is available in the bedrooms. Shared pool with sun beds and towels are provided. Supermarket and the beach are only a 10 minute walk away. Car can be safely parked within gated area.

There is no air conditioning in the living room / kitchen so it can become quite hot inside. The bedrooms windows have gaps that allow mosquitoes to get in, bring or buy mosquito spray.

The nice way we were attended by Remco, and the quite place to relax. The room was nice and clean. Places to move from where the place is , is very close and we had no problem moving from the place to by groceries and other things we had need of. The swimming pool is spacious, and my grand children's were fascinated with the place, when they came.

I miss a tv in the room. there was one in the living room, but we like having to watch tv from our room before we go to sleep. But all in all we love it and slept good with out the TV

The house is marvelous, beautiful, clean, clear, with delicious taste. The hostages are very kind and empathic. You feel very comfortable, and you feel well cared for. They make you feel at home. All the details are thought. It is a place to visit again. E

The logistics of picking up the keys for the entrance needed to be more apparent. The telephone given was of one person who was at the moment out of Curacao. The place would be even superb if the host considered air conditioning within the kitchen and the family room. It is too hot, and the fans need to be more sufficient. This would make a big difference.

The location was excellent, if you are familiar with Curacao and the Jan Thiel area you would love it. The host was very accommodating when it came to payment. We got US dollars out of the ATM but had to do it over a three day span, so she was patient with us. The apartment was very nice, and clean. The pool was great!

It was so hot inside the apartment. I understand utilities are expensive in curacao but it was so inside. There was only AC in the bedrooms. So the time we spent in the living room area we had the fan blasting but it was still very hot inside. I also noticed someone was coming inside the place when we were not there. It felt like they were watching us because it was twice when we noticed they came in while we were out ands about and cut off the ac in the room. That was creepy and kind of an invasion of privacy, because we don’t really know what else they did. We know they came in because the AC remote would be on the bed and that’s not where we kept it. We really liked the place but don’t think we would stay there again.

Entire place is beautiful. The apartment is spacious, clean, well equipped. Swimming pool is surrounded by wonderful plants - much bigger now than you can see on pictures. Remco and Sandra were extremely helpful. Jan Thiel beach is 10 min walking from the apartment.

Fantastic house and location in a very upscale neighborhood with lots to do. The hosts were phenomenal and very hospitable. Would definitely recommend!

The only thing that could be improved is not having a door between the bedroom and bathroom. That was a surprise to me as you could hear between the two areas.

The pool was my favorite. The breeze on the top left terrace was amaizing, plus the view. The host was amaizingly friendly. Their bathroom warm water was simply the best.

The bed is just two beds put together which was a bit uncomfortable because you end up sinking in between. It would've been much better if there was a door between the toilet and the room itself. These are just my personal minus points, i would still recommend this villa because it was an amaizing time.

Very nice and kind host! You can always ask her if you need something, but that was not necessary as everything was already perfect. Really nice apartment, with everything you need, very clean! In general a quiet place to stay, with a lot of things close by such as shops and beaches.

It's difficult to find something that was not allright. The only thing I can think of: You can hear the upstairs guest moving their chairs over the floor, which can be a bit annoying at night.
