Reviewed May 10, 2025The apartment is really nice. The location has great security. Pool was warm and clean and just outside your door. The keys were easy to find, but the property location was not disclosed until after we drove around Boca Chica for an hour. It would have been nice if the management would have sent us a pin prior to us getting to Boca Chica . We had no wifi which complicated the matter for communicating. The address in booking.com is not the address of the apartment. We entered it in google maps and it took us to Downtown Boca Chica where the traffic was jammed and driving was stressful. The apartment is very nice, though and we would stay here again as it was a great value for your money. Perhaps in the future the address could be disclosed in plenty of time before check-in.
Everything was super, except one of the stair rises is much higher than the rest and my spouse kept tripping on the stairs. Also the faucet in the kitchen sink sprays outward and you get wet every time you turn on the water.

Reviewed May 5, 2024The pool, gardens and staff are a dream. New, modern and very well kept. The design and condition of the villa was excellent. Security is solid. Designated parking spot is great. The wifi was excellent, although there are random brownouts that will knock you off wifi for about 5 mins, which was not ideal for my remote work meetings on a few occasions. Rafy is one of the most responsive, kind and fair host. It was a pleasure corresponding with him and he really made the experience a five star one.
Not a walkable area/neighborhood. No nearby food stores (although I think some deliver, I went the route of shopping at the Olé supermarket). The nearest restaurants on the beach were pricey and mid in every sense of the word. Weekends at Boca Paraiso bring in families, most with loud music and kids. If you want a quiet time, take your chances with booking within Monday-Thursday. There’s a few touches that can make the villa cozier, such as a screen for the large glass doors, separate pool towels, a tea kettle for non coffee drinkers like me, and a water cooler to avoid need to carry a bunch of water gallons on longer term stays. Rafy, if you’re interested in a detailed list of my recommendations, text me! 😉
