We were greeted by Whitney he gave us his number and info. I liked the location on the hillside which has a lovely view over the town of Soufreire with the green lush hills in the background, so sitting on the balcony with a cool breeze was just lovely. The apartment had every items we needed so we were comfortable. Walking to the town down hill was around 15-20 mins, but in the evenings we returned in taxi as we did not wish to walk up the hill when dark.

Only that the tv had a sound fault, but I am sure this can be replaced.

I loved that we had everything we needed for our stay. It felt like home. It was clean and quiet. The pool was a great addition and the balcony view was amazing. Whitney went above and beyond to help me celebrate my husband’s birthday by getting a few items to top it off and even upgraded our room before we got there. We had a wonderful stay at Sugarmon Villas.

The location was on a steep bumpy hill, similar to an alley. Most tour drivers didn’t come to the location so we had to walk a bit to meet them.

Sugarmon villas was well kept, the location suit our demeanor, we enjoyed the small pool the views, internet access and the peace it offered.

This might be out of the sugarmon control, the road leading to the villas needs to fixed. Offer customer transportation either as cost per villas or separate. List the cost, so patrons won't be surprise at any hidden cost.

Magnifiquement situé juste au-dessus de Soufrière. On a bien profité de la terrasse avec la très belle vue.

Emplacement au calme, avec vue, à proximité du centre-ville (également à pied ~10-15 minutes). Logement propre, cuisine bien équipée, grande salle de bain, lit king size très confortable. Emplacement de parking gratuit accolé au logement. Hôte disponible et serviable.

Deux bémols : (i) Route d'accès défoncée ; prévoir un 4x4 ou SUV haut (obligatoire pour circuler autour de Soufrière en général). (ii) Nombreux moustiques sur la terrasse.

The road to get to the property is very bad. Even if the place wasn’t bad, I will not be visiting there again. Doesn’t worth the price.

Le séjour a été parfait. Les chambres ont une vue magnifique, ainsi que la piscine. Massy est à seulement une dizaine de minutes de marche, ainsi que le centre ville (attention cependant, les pentes sont quelque peu abruptes). Whitney était un hôte parfait, tant sur la communication que sur l’organisation. Compte tenu des conditions météorologiques, mon voyage a dû être prolongé d’un jour et tout a été fait pour faciliter la poursuite de mon séjour. Le taxi conseillé par Whitney pour m’accompagner lors des visites était également parfait. Tout a été fait pour assurer un séjour agréable. Je conseille les yeux fermés et ne manquerai pas de revenir lors de mon prochain voyage à Sainte Lucie !

Whitney met us, showed us in and helped us with our bags. The apartment was large and had good wifi and air conditioning. It was equipped with everything we needed. Whitney gave us some good recommendations and was easily available via email or WhatsApp during our stay. We had the best time in Soufriere and felt happy and safe at Sugarmon Villas. Sea Shell for dinner was a favourite and just down the road. A food truck called Big J was also excellent for fries and local vibe. Ooh and The Dream, best local food.

Hard not to mention the drive way. We hired a Jeep for our trip and, female driver (not that it should matter) I managed fine, it’s steep and the surface is a bit patchy but honestly by the second day we were in and out without a thought. Good warm up for Anse Chastanet beach which is an absolute must for snorkelling

Everything. Whitney is a wonderful host - nothing is too much and will help in organising taxis for your visit. The room is huge & comfortable and includes a kitchen area. Perfect location, on the hill, overlooking the town and Pitons. Only a 10 min walk to the beach and local shops. The pool is an added bonus. Would absolutely stay again! Thanks Whitney 😊

Wat niet eigenlijk. Het geluid van t regenwoud, uitzicht op de pitons. Whitney, ongedwongen vriendelijk en behulpzaam om je weg te brengen op te halen, te vertellen over het mooie st lucia en het sfeervolle authentieke soufriere. Wat ons betreft het mooiste en meest authentieke stukje van t eiland met een warm welkom. Appartement is groot, netjes, heeft alles wat je nodig hebt of kunt wensen en een gezamenlijke infinity pool voor een afkoelende plons. Echt een aanrader !

Perfect location with lovely views from the balcony, and the pool was a great addition. I’m glad I brought earplugs, as the chickens are quite loud in the morning.

The kitchen could be better equipped—we didn’t have a sponge or cloth for washing dishes. The water pressure was very weak, and considering the price, it was disappointing that no basic toiletries were provided in the bathroom.

Pool a little small

Everything was as expected. We are more than satisfied. Our host Whitney was very helpful and also arranged transports and even himself took us on a tour visiting Trail, Vulcano, Mudbath and Waterfall. From the balcony we had a stunning view over the landscape and mountains. Below us the village. There is a nice walk down to the centre and the local beach so no need for taxi. 10 min to closed supermarket which was nice too. Also nice to jump in to the small pool after a long day exploring or just enjoyed beachlife.

Nothing to complain about. Note that the prices on the island are not cheap but that wasnt of any surprise for us. When it comes the apartment and location there was nothing to not like.

Plaża w miasteczku i jego klimat na minus, jednak pobliskie Sugar Beach I Anse Chastanet są świetne. Można korzystać z hotelowych leżaków plazowych na obu plażach za free.

Dojazd od głównej drogi to masakra. Dziura na dziurze. Do przejechania zwykła osobówka, jednak tylko jeżeli masz dobre skile. Jak nie jeździsz autem dobrze, to albo sie nie pakuj tam, albo wypożycz terenówkę lub suva.

Not within walking distance to shops or restaurants, but taxis are available to call to hire.

The balcony and view were spectacular! The pool was great after a long day to cool off, read a book, and relax. Our host Witney was very helpful and kind, and generously coordinated all of our local travel around Soufriere.

There was nothing we disliked, but the one thing to know before you go is the walk into town and back is s steep hill. Driving would be the easiest way to get around, or coordinate rides with taxi driver.

The Villa was very quiet and very clean, with adequate kitchen utensils and full refrigerator. The bed was very comfortable but the patio chairs were not. It is about a 15 - 20 min walk into town, a little longer walking back up a steep hill. We would walk during the day, but take a taxi back at night after dinner. The manager Whitney was very responsive to our needs and arranged tours and transportation for us. We had a great time and would love to come back to Sugarmon.

Spotlessly clean, very friendly host, amazing view overlooking Soufriere, nice little pool for cooling off.

It’s up a challenging hill from town, which requires a strenuous hike back after dinner or sightseeing. Hiking up the highway feels a little sketchy as the road is narrow. The back way through town feels safer but is a circuitous route so pay attention to landmarks. Plenty of taxi/uber are available but obviously that’s an extra cost.

Nice place to stay the views of the mountains and the city is beautiful.

The view was incredible. The location suited me well, with local bars and shops within walking distance. I know some reviews mention needing a car, but I found it manageable on foot and had no issues getting around, even later at night when I had too many beers and rum. Whitney was a great host really helpful, easygoing, and even gave me a lift into town which I appreciated. Planning on returning later in the year I’ll be rebooking.

We had a fantastic stay at Sugarmon Villas — a great budget-friendly option with everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The views are absolutely lovely, overlooking the town below and with a beautiful view of the Pitons. You can enjoy this from both the balcony and the outdoor seating area, which also has sunbeds, chairs, and a plunge pool — perfect for relaxing and taking it all in. The apartment itself is well equipped, with a fully stocked kitchen and a comfortable lounge area. The bathroom is modern, the bed is very comfy, and the air conditioning works well, which is a big plus. There’s also access to a washing machine in an outbuilding if needed. Whitney and the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Whitney was always responsive, and nothing was too much trouble. He kindly took us to Anse Mamin Beach twice for a small charge — the road is very steep, and not one we’d want to drive ourselves, so this was really appreciated. It’s definitely worth visiting. He also helped with trips to the supermarket, which made everything so much easier. Overall, it is a brilliant stay with great views, helpful hosts, and excellent value for money. Would definitely recommend 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

A few small things to note: The roads around the property are quite steep. We didn’t drive and used taxis, although we did walk into town once (around 15 minutes). It’s doable but very hot, and we got a taxi back from the bottom of the hill for around $10. The outdoor seating could be more comfortable — the sunbed and chair cushions were quite thin, and the back cushions were a bit too large for the chairs. The balcony is a great size, and it would be a nice addition to have a small table and chairs to sit outside for evening meals, although there is a seating area outside with a coffee table and a dining table inside in the kitchen area. None of these points took away from our stay at all — it’s still excellent value for money and well worth it.

Good location close to Soufriere town, but it is recommended to have a car if you want to move around to see the nearby attractions. Simple, cosy rooms, great price to value ratio compared to other available accomodations. The tiny pool was a nice addition, if you have some spare time. A lot of colibries in the garden that are so nice to contemplate. The staff is very nice, everything went smooth.

It is not on the owner or the accomodation, but the road leading down to the accomodation is in a terrible conditions, so expect a short bumpy ride from the main road. A hairdryer would be a nice to have in the room and a kettle in the kitchen. The safe in the room was not working, as there was no battery in it.

Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet und sauber. Der Blick auf die Pitons und Soufriere traumhaft. Handtücher, Küchenzubehör sehr gut und Witney ein sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Host.

An der Wohnung gibt es nichts zu bemängeln! Es gibt ein paar Einschränkungen, die mit der Örtlichkeit zu tun haben: Die Zufahrt führt über eine sehr schlechte Straße mit großen Schlaglöchern, die mit einem „normalen“ PKW u.U. schlecht zu fahren sind. Wir hatten einen Jeep, das ging einigermaßen. Aber andere Reisende haben in die Schlaglöcher Steine gelegt, um darüber fahren zu können. Auch liegt die Wohnung hoch und steil am Hang über dem Ort, d.h. wenn jemand nicht mobil oder fit ist, ist es äußerst anstrengend in den Ort bzw. wieder zurück zu kommen. Aber wie gesagt, dafür kann der Gastgeber nichts. Wir finden es nur wichtig, darauf hinzuweisen.

Apartment was spacious and clean and suited our needs, and host was always quickly responsive. Loved the taxi driver they hooked us up with (Paco). both bedrooms are spacious and have clean ensuite bathrooms with showers

this is not a luxury property and that is consistent with the price, but a visitor should realize it is more on the basic side than high end. Location worked for us but if you are driving yourself, the road to the place is not for the faint of heart,. Our taxi driver had no problem but did go very slowly. Its about a 20 minute walk into town - on the way back mostly uphill and watch for oncoming cars as no sidewalks.

This was an excellent place to stay in Soufriere. Room was very spacious and clean with an awesome view from the balcony. It is only a 10 minute walk down the hill to Hummingbird beach where you can find food, drinks and beach. The little pool was a nice touch for a refreshing dip.

Dated, in need of maintenance & limited utensils/essentials for cooking. Location on a steep hill meant you got lovely views but if you didn't have a car, that walk back from town with supplies lost its novelty factor after 3 times! (ying & yang of good views I guess). Property is down a very bumpy dirt track. Had to ask to use washer/dryer which was in locked room. The pool is in the shade all day except 12-3 & the recliners on deck in shade all day.

The bedrooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, and it was quiet, as long as you don’t mind roosters in the morning. The view from the balcony was nice too, and they kindly allowed us to leave our luggage in the room after check-out.

The hotel is located in a bit of a no-go area with very little around it. The nearest shop is about a 12-minute walk and the beach around 20 minutes, and the walks aren’t very pleasant. Quite hilly, a bit rough, and very dark at night. I wouldn’t recommend staying there unless you have a car. The rooms are basic with the bare minimum, and we found some cockroaches in the kitchen. We also weren’t impressed by the pool and didn’t feel like using it.

We were a very last-minute booking (3pm). Whitney met us when we finally arrived close to 7pm, gave us a tour, found chargers since we were not prepared to overnight and offered us a late checkout. The place was clean, modern, good toiletries, strong water pressure with quality linens and comfortable beds. There was water, coffee, tea and sugar available.

The pool is tiny and there is a carpet grass which was wet and muddy in the entry way.

Absolutely incredible view from the room, facilities were amazing and the location is great to base yourself out of to travel around yourself. Rooms are spacious with enough facilities to cook for yourself and everything was very clean. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating too, thank you!!

The road going to the property made me fear for my life

The host is extremely honest and helpful. He was responsive via WhatsApp and always ready to share practical tips when asked. He also was punctual, and i appreciated that he was clear on what he knows and what he doesn't.

Prepare to walk for 15 minutes to get to town. We found the town safe, yet be careful when it gets dark from the cars on the road. There isn't a sidewalk. It didn't bother us, but the first night was an adjustment.

Location of the villa is excelent, i was walking to 2 most beautifull beaches without problem, the view is amazing, you can see the whole city. Rooms are verry big, clean, with big balkonies, totally equiped with everything you could need. Whithey is amazing host, he is really taking care of every guest, he was checking on me all the time, giving me tips where i should go, where should i eat, what should i see, everything what i need he was taking care of without problems, he was available all the time for everything. My big recomandation for this villa, i really felt like home, i was not missing anything, i would definatly come back here again!

Tolles Quartier mit allem, was man braucht und sich wünschen kann. Sehr schöne Aussicht vom Balkon. Super Bett! Kleiner Pool zum Erfrischen ist sehr nett. Der BEtreiber war sehr zurückhaltend, aber hilfsbereit.

Die kurze Zufahrtstraße (übrigens ohne jegliche Beschilderung) ist eine Katastrophe, aber dafür können sie natürlich nix. Unbedingt mit Navi fahren, sonst kaum zu finden.

Die Wohnungsübergabe und Kommunikation verlief einwandfrei. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und hat einen gemütlichen Balkon. In der Küche sind die wichtigsten Utensilien für 2 Personen vorhanden. Das Bett ist sehr bequem und im Badezimmer wurden Tücher sowie Strandtücher zur Verfügung gestellt. Top TV. Bei einer Tasse fiel der Henkel ab, was ohne Problem vom Gastgeber zur Kenntnis genommen wurde, was uns sehr freute.

Die Zufahrtsstrasse ist mit diversen Löchern etwas herausfordernd. Ein hohes Auto ist von Vorteil. Blick auf den Piton nur aus dem Seitenfester (Wohnung Nr. 3).

Whitney was very responsive to questions prior to our arrival, as well as once we were on site. We had a nice view of the town from our balcony! We enjoyed the plunge pool and access to a grill. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The kitchen gave us what we needed to make some basic meals with a supermarket a short drive away. Overall, it met our needs!

The road to the property is pretty rough, especially on a lower car and rental car. We gathered some rocks to fill in some of the bigger holes as best we could. Not the property's fault, but we didn't realize it was Jazz festival and one of the concerts was below us, so it was a bit loud during their set up nights and on the night of the concert. Again, not the property's fault, but there are also the usual island roosters and local honking at the wee hours of the morning. Wifi did not always work on the deck.

The dirty nasty chair that greeted us by the front door . I looked at the other villas and realized that my villa was the only one with such deplorable patio furniture. The single beds were way to small , the kettle did not work , the stove gave some issues also , due to the European type wiring I had to ask for additional converter adapters which should have been a given (as they know my country of origin). Now I’m thinking based on my interaction with others on the island that this was due to colorism ,that’s very strong on the island but I can be wrong so I await a response from the villa management 😑

The view of the Pitons, town and surrounding area was beautiful.

Firstly the road leading to the villa is very uneven on a hill which is not mentioned in the listing. We found three ways of getting to and from the property all of which require you to walk up and down hills and for those with mobility issues like myself it causes a problem and it ended up with my partner doing any trips to get groceries, food etc. It is advisable to rent a car to make your stay much easier. The property was very disappointing. We did not have half the items that were in the listing i.e. cleaning products, washing machine, dining table and chairs etc. The bed was old and every time you moved on it, it made a lot of noise. The bed covers were also old and worn and not inviting. We had issues with the water supply in the shower which was cold water most of the time and with barely any flow or power to the shower. We reported it and Whitney came and checked and it seems there were more issues going on so it was not going to be a quick fix. We were offered another room once another guest had checked out but we really didn't see the point as we were already very disappointed overall with the standard of accommodation. The ironing board was old and broken and the cover was worn and ripped. The iron kept cutting out so it made ironing longer than it needed to be. There were patio doors to the balcony which leaked every time it rained. We had to use towels to lay on the floor to soak up the water. The kitchen was old and tired. One of the cupboard doors didn't close. We thankfully had bought insect repellent as there were a lot of ants in the kitchen cupboards and around the sink. The bathroom was okay but was great let down by the issues with the shower The bedroom was basic. The wardrobe needs updating. It was nice to have an outdoor space to sit however the furniture again was old and worn. Overall we would not recommend this property. The negatives outweighed the positives which was very disappointing.
