Bath outside was full of leaves .Wax from candles on the kitchen table. cottage a bit messy. Have stayed in many ABNB and travel extensively around the country this was definitely not value for money.

Might have used an oven but really didn’t miss it too much - I had an extended stay and did a lot of cooking. Maybe a small air fryer would be a nice addition?

We were able to return to the cottage after getting drenched on a horse trek and have a nice hot shower. THEN my daughter left her pillow there and they ended up dropping at a friend's place for me. Unbelievable service!! 10/10 Highly recommend!!!

Needs a good scrub down and updating of items. Drawers had a selection of fine dead bugs amongst the outdated literature on local attractions and food emporiums (stretching back to 2013 - some now closed)

Reviewed Dec 15, 2024Gorgeous cottage, loved the decor, the outdoor decks in either sun or shade, the peaceful, private space, surrounded by trees and looking at hills. The outdoor bath was awesome, and I really appreciated the muslin mosquito deterrent over the bed that worked perfectly and wasn't dusty like the mesh mosquito nets. Hosts were very accomodating and helpful.

Reviewed Dec 15, 2024It was very peaceful and quiet. The green forest like garden was full of NZ natives and the bird songs in the morning was a beautiful to hear. We all slept extremely well and wished we could have delayed longer.
Losing a precious piece of jewelry which the owners have promised to search for in the master bedroom. This was my mistake but I really sppreviste the help.
