Reviewed Sep 14, 2026Het onthaal was héél warm en hartelijk. Het huisje zelf is smaakvol ingericht, kraaknet en van voorzien van alle comfort zodat je verblijf meer dan aangenaam is. Gelegen midden in het centrum van Geel, maar met een eigen parkeerplek.

Reviewed Sep 8, 2026Mooi en ruim appartement, heel prettig verblijf. Geel is een levendig stadje. Hoewel het appartement in het centrum ligt, is het toch heel rustig. Prachtige natuur in nabije omgeving om te wandelen en fietsen. Snelle en heldere communicatie met de eigenaar; het contact verliep heel plezierig.

Reviewed Aug 16, 2026La propriétaire ne pouvait pas se rendre sur place et nous a envoyé une vidéo très claire avec toutes les instructions nécessaires. La maison est cosy, joliment décorée, très propre, parfaitement équipée et elle sent bon ! Il y a plein de petites attentions partout (livres, magazines, parapluies, serviettes de rechange, boissons à disposition dans le frigo, airco dans la chambre, etc.), qui font qu'on se sent vraiment bien accueillis et détendus... Les gens du coin qu'on a croisés étaient tous très sympathiques aussi avec les Bruxellois francophones que nous sommes ;-)
La maison n'est pas lumineuse, donc je n'y passerais pas de journées entières en été, mais on n'était pas venus pour ça ;-) Les oreillers étaient un peu trop gros mais c'est une question de goût...

Reviewed Aug 8, 2026Außergewöhnlich gute Unterkunft! Die tolle Lage wird nur getoppt von der modernen und doch gemütlichen Ausstattung. Super sauber! Chillen auf dem Sonnenbalkon kein Problem, da vorgekühlte Getränke (käuflich zu erwerben) im Kühlschrank auf einen gewartet haben. Klare Empfehlung!

Reviewed Jul 20, 2026We verbleven in Stadshuisje Vélo 94 en waren echt heel tevreden. Bij aankomst was alles duidelijk met een filmpje over waar alles zit, en het inchecken ging soepel via een sleutelkastje. Het huisje zelf was super schoon, compleet ingericht en comfortabel. Fijne bedden, goede badkamer, airco op de slaapkamer en zelfs een gevulde minibar. Zowel bij het appartement als bij de slaapkamer is een buitenruimte. De trap is stevig met brede treden, zelfs met MS goed te doen. De ligging is perfect: een zijstraatje in het centrum, op vijf minuten lopen van een plein met gezellige terrasjes. Kortom, schoon, compleet, comfortabel en een toplocatie. Absoluut zijn geld waard.
Niks! Kleine tip een plankje in de doucheruimte zou heel handig zijn!

Reviewed Jul 13, 2026Ivm bruiloft alleen gebruik gemaakt van een overnachting. Aanwezig van 22.30 u tot 10.00 u s morgens Alleen geslapen met eigen ontbijt. Keurig 2 filmpjes gestuurd via whatsapp waar de auto geparkeerd kon worden en waar het sleutelkastje hing.

L'appartamento è su due livelli ed è molto ben congegnato! Complimenti! Viaggiamo molto, ma ben poche strutture hanno caratteristiche così soddisfacenti! Grazie!

Reviewed Dec 8, 2025Siamo rimaste estremamente soddisfatte del nostro soggiorno! Questo alloggio ha reso la nostra esperienza davvero memorabile e lo consiglierei a chiunque. L'arredamento è curato, moderno e super accogliente e ci siamo sentite subito a casa. Un dettaglio che ho apprezzato tantissimo è stata la comodità del letto. La posizione è eccellente, con il parcheggio privato esattamente davanti a casa, e trasversale al viale principale dove si possono trovare tantissimi negozi, bar, pub, ristoranti ecc. Tutto era impeccabile e i servizi offerti (come la cucina attrezzata, il Wi-Fi) erano di alta qualità. Sophie è stata un host eccezionale! La sua disponibilità e gentilezza hanno fatto la differenza. È stata troppo carina e attenta ad ogni nostra esigenza fin dal momento della prenotazione. Grazie mille per l'ospitalità impeccabile!
L'unica, minuscola pecca per noi italiani è stata l'assenza del bidet in bagno. Nulla di grave, ovviamente, e capiamo che non è uno standard qui a Bruxelles, ma lo segnaliamo con un sorriso per chi, come noi, ne sente la mancanza!

特に見当たりませんが2階へ行く階段が急で幅が狭いので体が大きな人は気をつける必要があります。

Reviewed Nov 11, 2024So many good things. 1) The place is sweet, homey, clean, cozy (burning woodfire when we arrived in the cold afternoon)--a historic old building with modern updates/renovation. Lots of room. Two floors. 2) All the best values of this unique place, Geel, are embodied in the beautiful host Sophie. Our meeting conversation with her was one of the highlights of a month of travels for me, maybe the best moment of the trip. Very kind hosting--hospitality in the most real and deep sense. Plus: Sophie's husband Paul is a legendary cyclist (hence the name, Velo --94 is the year he won the Cyclo-Cross World Championship)--so cyclists, check it out!
Be aware--the stairs up to the bedroom and bathroom are really challenging, steep and narrow. Like the stairs to the loft of an old barn. Almost ladder-like. Not for the faint of heart. If you don't mind that sort of thing, it's charming! But be careful!

The kitchen had all the essentials for cooking meals, and the living area was both stylish and inviting, perfect for relaxing after a day of working. The bedroom was incredibly comfortable, with a soft bed and quality linens that made for a restful night’s sleep. The attention to detail was impeccable - everything from the décor to the little touches, like flowers, added to the cozy, homey vibe. The space was spotless and well-maintained, showing a lot of care from the hosts. What I loved most was the peacefulness of the location. It’s tucked away just enough to offer complete privacy and tranquility, yet still close to all the local attractions and essential services like a coffee shops, a bakery, restaurants, supermarkets, and a pharmacy, making it incredibly convenient. The hosts were friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. They were quick to respond to any questions and provided detailed information about the house. It was clear they put a lot of thought and care into making guests feel welcome!
