The mattress of the bed has had its best time and is not that comfy anymore. Nevertheless I could sleep well.

Die Unterkunft liegt recht weit vom Zentrum Dublins in einer sehr ruhigen Wohngegend; sie ist aber mit dem Stadtbus die ganze Nacht über direkt zu erreichen. Die Vermieter wohnen im selben Haus und sind sehr, sehr nette und hilfsbereite Menschen.

Vielleicht, dass es doch weiter draußen von Dublins Zentrum liegt. Da wir aber den ganzen Tag in der Hektik Dublins unterwegs waren, freuten wir uns auf die Ruhe am Abend und der Nacht.

Joan and Pat were excellent hosts, and nothing was too much bother for them! We were treated so well that it felt like staying with friends! It is wonderful that they are happy to open their home to guests from all around the world!

Joan and Pat are wonderfully friendly and helpful hosts. Their property is well setup for B&B guests. Parking on the property or street is easy in a lovely neighbourhood. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Breakfast is ready for you when you awake. Outdoor area has several seating options in a tranquil setting. Easy to catch bus into Dublin City with bus stop few hundred metres away

Het was een fijne kamer, met douche/toilet en keukentje, voorzien van alle benodigdheden voor een goed ontbijt en koffie/ thee. We werden hartelijk ontvangen en hebben de eerste 2 nachten van onze vakantie in Ierland hier prima doorgebracht. Met de bus konden we makkelijk en voordelig in 30/40 min naar het centrum van Dublin reizen, om zo verkeersdrukte te vermijden. Verder zijn er een paar goede eetgelegenheden/ pubs op redelijke loopafstand van deze B&B. De gastheer en gastvrouw waren heel gastvrij en sociaal, we komen graag een keer terug!

Piccolo appartamento davvero delizioso, la famiglia gentilissima e molto premurosa, abbiamo trovato nel frigo tantissime cose per la colazione e per uno spuntino, compresa una bottiglia di vino, davvero super. Bella la camera con accesso sul giardino. La posizione è in un quartiere molto tranquillo, si raggiunge Dublino molto facilmente grazie al bus che passa a 300 metri dalla struttura.

Una sola cosa, il letto era un po' scomodo per via del materasso non molto confortevole

In unserem Apartment hatten wir eine Küchenzeile und Lebensmittel (Eier, Müsli etc.), wo wie uns das Frühstück selbst machen mussten. Für uns hat das trotzdem super gepasst

Frühstück waren verschimmelte Tomaten mit dabei und vorsicjt vor den eiern. Sonst alles top.

Durch die große und außergewöhnliche Hilfsbereitschaft der Gastgeber und die Gastfreundschaft war der Aufenthalt etwas sehr Besonderes.

We had an absolutely fabulous experience staying at Beechtree House. The place was wonderful! Despite it being a bit further away from the city centre, getting to Dublin is quite convenient by local transport which also gave a sense of belonging in a way as we were able to get the taste of local life. The place itself does give a proper feeling of nature around which we loved! There is a lovely garden as well where we were able to soak up the sun and enjoy our breakfast in the morning (which was also prepared by our hosts) Pat and Joan are such lovely people! They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. They made sure we had breakfast every morning and on the days we had to leave early - they packed some snacks for us 🥰 Thank you for having us! If we’re ever back, we would love to stay there again - couldn’t have asked for better hosts!

Wat een vriendelijke eigenaren!! Er ontbrak ons werkelijk niets. Koelkast goed gevuld en allerlei lekkere traktaties. Dublin makkelijk te bereiken met de bus. Smaakvol ingericht en we konden gebruik maken van de tuin. Was top!!

Les propriétaires et leur gentillesse irréprochable ! La propreté des lieux et l’espace proposés. Un excellent choix et rapport qualité-prix.

Logement éloigné du centre mais nous le savions en réservant. Cependant le logement est situé à moins de 100 mètres d’un arrêt de bus qui nous emmène directement dans le centre et ce n’est pas cher.

Host was very nice. We did not have euro coins on hand and he offered us bus fare! Kitchen and fridge well stocked for breakfast.

Het ontbijt was heerlijk, de locatie perfect met de bus vlakbij en de gastvrouw en gastheer zijn geweldig gezellige mensen.

I had a wonderful stay with Pat and Joan, a lovely couple who run this accommodation. My room was beautifully furnished, and the entire house is very clean. The breakfast included everything one could need. Pat and Joan had some great recommendations, and we had a good time at the local pub. I would recommend this place to anyone! Fantastiskt boende i lugnt område med enkel bussförbindelse in till Dublin. Mycket gästvänligt o omhändertagande värdpar. Tillgång till fullt utrustat kök o uteplats. Gångavstånd till Lucan o restauranger, parkering på gården. Mycket prisvärt.

Joan was really nices, friendly and helpful. Bus stop is 5 minutes from the house, C4 took us to city centre in about 50 minutes. Breakfast was European with a lot of choices, and there were always fruit. The room was comfortable and really clean, also the little bathroom next door.

This was the perfect B&B for our (all too) brief stay in Dublin. Joan & Pat were welcoming and made sure we had everything we need (and more), and gave some excellent recommendations for eating out. We felt downright spoiled!

No podemos estar más agradecidos de haber encontrado a Joan y su B&B. Una experiencia maravillosa en una casa súper limpia y acogedora. Ubicada lejos del ruido de la ciudad en un barrio tranquilo. El desayuno súper completo. La anfitriona educada, dulce, generosa y siempre dispuesta a ayudarnos. Sin dudas, un lugar al que volveríamos y también recomendaremos.

Breakfast was plentiful, good selection of food, couldn't complain about a thing. Location was good, easy transport to Dublin city, village just down the road and nice walks by the river. Joan and Pat are lovely warm and welcoming hosts, the room and bathroom are super clean.

Can't think of anything, maybe tv in the room would be good.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Beechtree last week. It was a great base for our drives to Galway and down south, and a handy bus just around the corner to get into Dublin. Lucan village was a 2.5k walk along a path passing the beautiful golf course. Joan and Pat are so hospitable in their home. We felt very welcome. Highly recommend as a home away from home.

Der Aufenthalt war durch das sehr hilfsbereite und zuvorkommende ältere Ehepaar außergewöhnlich angenehm. Gepflegtes Zimmer mit Bad, bereitgestellte Verpflegung einwandfrei und mehr als ausreichend. Sehr zu empfehlen!

The hosts were welcoming, generous, and friendly. The vibe was cozy and felt like staying with family. The accommodations were also very comfortable, with ample amenities.

El Sr lindisimo que nos recibió, amable cálido y muy simpático.

El desayuno y que la Sra. nos ignorará olímpicamente. No atendió mi petición de llevarnos al aeropuerto de regreso una ve que ofrecen el servicio y no se tomó la delicadeza ni siquiera de decirnos que no podían.

親切的民宿主人

Rummet finns på bottenvåningen av huset med en egen dusch. Stort rum med bekväm storsäng. Området är mkt lugn och tyst, dock utanför stadskärnan, cirka 40 minuter med buss C4. Bra frukost med variation och en väldigt snäll och trevlig husvärd som anpassar sig till dina behov. Varmt rekommenderad.

The B&B was very clean, cozy and it’s very well connected to the city center, just a 40 minute bus ride. Joan and Pat are for sure the loveliest warmest hosts you could ask for, they are very helpful and very thoughtful towards their guests. Would highly recommend staying over at their place, and if I ever come back to Dublin will for sure want to stay at the Beechtree House again.

Self-service breakfast was sufficient: yoghurt, fruit, cereal, toast, cheese, etc. All guests sat around the kitchen table - kind of cozy. The friendliest hosts one can imagine! Super clean everywhere. Bus line C4 from Heuston Station is the best way to reach this B&B in Lucan, only a 4-minute walk from/to the Weston Estate bus stop. Other lines stop near the big motorway crossing. Take a 20-minute walk to an excellent pub, The Salmon Leap by River Liffey, for a tasty seafood chowder!

Several guest rooms upstairs share one bathroom. It was OK but did not realize until I got there. Was afraid of disturbing others as I had to leave very early for the airport. Beware steep stairs, careful with your luggage. The room was a bit too warm to my taste.
