Kaikesta, paikka on upea, majoittajat todella ystävällisiä ja Bondi pentu ihana. Olemme viihtyneet Villa Himpulassa jo monta kertaa ja aina tekee vain mieli päästä uudestaankin.

The cabin is beautifully located right by the lake, with direct access to the water and the possibility to use a boat free of charge. Everything was very clean, the facilities were excellent, and the location was perfect. It had everything you need for a few peaceful and relaxing days. The host was very kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay.

Everything! The house is in a stunning location with easy private access to the lake; if you are into watersports then this is perfect. Kayaks and SUP’s are available to hire on site and there are also bikes to hire if you wish to explore the area. The hosts are wonderful, they live in the adjacent farm so on hand should you need advice but also unobtrusive- they have the balance just right. The pictures do not do the location and house justice, the in house sauna is a real bonus and the house itself is warm, comfortable and very well equipped. The owners have also created a scenic forest walk accessible from the property which passes a forest hut equipped with everything to barbecue. Sysmä is the nearest town a short drive away which has 2 well stocked supermarkets for provisions. We had a magical week and would not hesitate to return.

Toinen kerta Himpulassa, jälleen eriomainen kokemus. Fasiliteetit kunnossa ja majoittajat todella ystävällisiä. Kohteessa oli kaikki, mitä rentoutusviikonloppuun voi vaatia!

Neljäs kerta Himpuloimassa ja aina edelleen yhtä ihana ja hyvä paikka. Kaikki tarvittava löytyy Himpulasta ja on ihan parasta kun lasten kanssa ei tarvitse lähteä kauaksi puuhastelemaan.

ESTEETTÖMÄT SISÄTILAT! Myös ulkona kohtuullisen helppo kulkea, sillä kulkuväylistä pidetty huolta, vaikka terassilla portaita ja pengerrys vaatii melko tervejalkaisen askelluksen ja/tai toisen ihmisen tukea. Todella siisti, viihtyisä ja monipuolinen majoituspaikka. Sisäsaunassa loistavat löylyt ja valaistus, joka olisi mahdollistanut himolukijalle rentoutumisen vaikka kirjankin kanssa. Paljon tilaa ja hyvin varusteltu keittiö, paljukin olisi ollut kohtuuhintainen. Luontoliikkumismahdollisuudet jäivät tällä erää kokeilematta, mutta suunnitelmissa on palata mökille jälkikasvun ja/tai muutaman ystävän kanssa sopivalla hetkellä.

Ilmoituksesta ei käynyt ilmi, kuinka lähellä tilan päärakennusta mökki oli. Talon ja Himpulan välillä ei ollut minkäänlaista näkösuojaa, ja erityisesti suora näköyhteys talosta uimapaikalle oli vähän harmi. Monelle olisi myös tärkeä etukäteistieto, että talon koira saattaa liikuskella tilan alueella vapaasti; Me emme hauveliin päässeet tutustumaan, mutta meilläkin on perhepiirissä ihmisiä, jotka pelkäävät kaikkein rauhallisimpiakin koiria.

Расположение прямо на тихом озере, собственный пирс и лодки. Уютный, чистый дом с большим количеством удобств. Камин создаёт невероятную атмосферу вечером. Просторная зелёная территория — прекрасно для прогулок и отдыха. Очень тихо и красиво, отличный отдых от города. Хозяева поддерживают порядок, всё выглядит ухоженно.

Нечего добавить — всё было отлично.

Upea sijainti ja todella paljon tekemistä koko perheelle, majoittajat olivat (jälleen kerran) todella ystävällisiä ja vieraanvaraisia, rentouduimme saunan ja paljun lämmössä, veneilimme tilaan kuuluvaan pieneen Hattapukki-saareen paistamaan makkaraa ja nautimme elämästä.

Kaikki vastasi odotuksiamme, ainoa asia mistä en pitänyt oli se hetki, kun piti lähteä kotiin. ;)

As always, this was the best holiday of the year! The most wonderful hosts, peace and beauty. For several years in a row, we have chosen this place and even come here twice a year. We left only recently, and we are already dreaming of how and when we will return. We wish the wonderful hosts good health and lovely guests.

Everything here is wonderful! The only pity is that this is our home only for a short time.

We loved Villa Himpula. It has all the possible things that you need for a good stay! You can go with the boat or a SUP or you can relax in the sauna/hot tub. There was an x-box and boardgames so we were never bored. The kitchen is fully equipped so you can bake or cook.

Only minus is lack of hand towels in the bathrooms.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Finnish apartment house. Everything was perfect and flawless from start to finish. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The house itself was spotless, very well equipped, and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The surroundings and the natural environment around the house are simply stunning – a true escape into nature. We can highly recommend this place and would love to return!

We had a perfect family vacation. Very suitable for families with children. I recommend it to everyone.

Viimeisen päälle hieno ja toimiva mökki! Varustuksesta löytyy kaikki mitä tarvitaan. Vaikka mökki on isäntäväen talon lähellä, siellä voi silti oleskella täysin omassa rauhassa, koska sijainti on hyvin suunniteltu. Terassilta on kaunis näköala järvelle ja laiturilta hyvä mennä uimaan.

Luontopolkua onnistuin löytämään metsästä vain pienen pätkän, vaikka sitä ilmeisesti jatkuu pidemmällekin :) Sinänsä hieno idea myös tuo polku.

Location is wonderfull. House is fantastic.

This is the best spot to chill out. You'll be with the finest and most welcoming hosts. You'll sleep like a "log" because there is nature, beauty, cleanliness and only birds chirping around. Everything will feel like home and even better. The hosts will always be around and ready to help and will never bother you! You'll be leaving and you'll want to come back right now. We had a truly wonderful stay at this cottage! From the beginning, the host was incredibly kind and responsive, making everything smooth and welcoming. The cottage itself is spotlessly clean, neat, and very well equipped—everything has been thoughtfully prepared with clear instructions for using all the facilities. The heat pump is a great touch—an energy-efficient solution that keeps the place cozy. The sauna was fantastic, fully equipped with everything one could need, and clearly goes beyond just the basics. The hot tub was an amazing experience, especially during the colder months—such a relaxing treat! Just a short 500-meter walk away, there’s a beautiful hut in the forest, which adds to the charm of the location. The outdoor area is very well planned: there are all the essentials for making a fire, boiling water, and barbecuing, and the barbecue area near the beach is perfect, with two long benches creating a cozy and scenic gathering spot. Inside, there’s plenty of entertainment—from group board games and books to an Xbox, making it great for both quiet evenings and fun family time. Overall, this place exceeded our expectations in every way. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and well-equipped getaway in nature!

great, modern and comfortable

Here is all wonderful.

Everything was amazing, in our opinion, this is the best house in Finland. There is everything you need for a vacation and even more. In a few days we completely rested and recharged. Special thanks to the hosts for their hospitality and warm attitude.

There is no negative comments from us.

We stayed for 3 nights at Villa Himpula, an absolutely beautiful and luxurious property that is spotlessly clean and ideally located on the lakefront. It has all the listed amenities, along with a variety of toys and games that we and our kids really enjoyed. The owner has considered every possible way to wow guests. Communication with the owner was prompt and reliable. We had a great stay and highly recommend it. We would love to visit again. Thank you so much! :) :)

I have a few suggestions and requests. There should be slightly more clarity regarding facilities and policies during booking. First, the cleaning fee isn't included in the booking price, and this detail wasn’t available during or after booking. We discovered upon arrival that there is a €100 cleaning fee, or guests must perform a professional-level cleaning themselves. We opted to clean ourselves since it was a short stay, but it was somewhat slightly stressful. Second, while blankets and pillows are included, the information provided is a bit unclear and could be more straightforward.

All maximum points already got are jusrified for sure. The place and the owners are top notch.

There is absolutely nothing to dislike.

Hosts lives nearby, always very helpful but still very discreet. As far as finnish summer cottages go, I think this is a special find. Very close to wildlife and nature with having a very comfortable, well equipped accommodation to stay in. The owners invited us to take part in their traditional midsummer eve celebrations (bonfire by the lake, singing traditional songs 🎵), this was very nice. The house was located on a oat farm and there was also woodland and Countryside to explore. Pirkko also produces and sells her own honey which is delicious.

The mosquitos 🦟 (I know it's nature and can't be helped)

The location is absolutely stunning and the villa itself both modern and cosy. Communication with the owners was very easy. We loved absolutely everything! We will definitely be back and have already recommended the place to lots of people! Thank you for the perfect stay.

Everything was great, no issues.

I cannot believe how lucky we were to stay here. Pictures cannot do it justice. Every detail was lovely - from the quality of the finishes (my partner, who lives in Finland, said the saunas were the nicest he’d ever been in), to all the thoughtful touches (generous linens and towels, chopped wood, a beautiful Easter decoration, children’s toys, spring bulbs, spare shoes… the list goes on!), to the many surprises which weren’t mentioned in the description on booking.com (we both loved the Kota in the woods)! Huge thanks to Pirkko and Juha who are beautiful, kind people. This is visible through their excellent communications, their attention to detail, and the great care they take in the property. They clearly take great pride in providing a magical experience. My partner and I are already discussing when we will return to Villa Himpula. Hopefully soon!

Really nice, comfy and clean. Sauna is good and there was lots of small details that made staying more enjoyable. If you are looking place to stay in area, then I recommend to try this out.

Couldn't not really find anything to complain. Maybe small shots glasses could be added to utilities as those were missing.

villa had a great decor. Everything in the house was perfect and beautiful. Loved the hot tube at the Property. kind and helpful owners who live just next door and are alway ready to help you. it was fun taking to them. would definitely recommend others to visit this place
