The TV had limited channels because it was not a smart TV. The pool water was a bit dirty because it had not been cleaned for a while.

It is right beside the main road and the poor sound insulation means you will be hearing every rempit revving or big vehicle sounds. The aircond also turn off every few hours for some reason.

Reviewed Aug 19, 2026the property had no insect. The bed, the bedsheet and pillows were clean. The bathroom was also clean. The AC worked well and the refrigerator was superb better than any hotel that I have stayed in Malaysia from 3 stars to 5 stars. I put water bottle in the refrigerator for half day and the water turned into ice which was perfect to take it with me when I went outside because it was hot weather so cold drink helped a lot. I got new towels and water bottles every 2-3 days. Further more, there was always someone in the office when i needed help. For example, i forgot the key in the room and the young male staff helped me. In addition, the property was in good location for foreigner who did not drive because I was able to find anything that I needed within a walking distance.
It's minor stuff but I wish there was a table in the room where I could sit and to eat the food, but there was a table outside the room and I rarely used it because it was hot to sit outside and mosquito. But i understand that there was no table because the room that I booked was not big so no space for table. Even though there was no table in the room, I feel this property was perfect for me. I would love to rent it again when I visit the town in the future.

Reviewed Jun 22, 2026LOCATION SLIGHTLY TRICKY. IN BETWEEN OF 2 PUMP STATION (CALTEX AND SHELL) IN PEKAN BALING. THE FACILITY WERE NOT SO WELL MAINTAINED. ROOM SIZE ARE RELATIVELY SMALL FOR A FAMILY WITH KIDS. POOL ARE QUITE SAFE FOR THE KIDS. CHECK IN AND OUT WERE EASY

A cockroach came out from the drainage while I was bathing, and the air-conditioner still didn’t work even after the staff repaired it. The pipe came off and water leaked into my bedroom

Reviewed Mar 23, 2026The view of mount baling. The room interior design and parking is close to the room. There is a small musolla, a small pool, and photoshoot studio at the compound. Hipster kind of hotel/motel. Good vibe.
The king rooms are not facing mount baling directly which is a lost opportunity. The most expensive room should have gotten direct view of the mountain from inside the room.

The air conditioning have to improve. Maybe can change aircond to suitable place, example on top of TV or somewhere else. Not beside toilet door..It's still hot even we on the aircond for about evening until morning..

The room is quite small as we have limited space to perform prayers. Fridge not cold enough & limited space to put my toiletries like body wash, syampoo, toothbrush etc. The location of the aircond is not suitable. Room is not cold & I was sweating while sleeping. Should dislocate at more suitable area. What I dislike the most is cats & kitten loitering at the balcony area. They even sleep at the shoe rack & floor area which caused that area quite smelly. Hope the management can do something about it. As a guest who stays for 2 nights I am not c omfortable at all with the above issue. No one at the reception to assist & you have to ring the bell for assistance. For a boutique hotel I expect better facilities.
