Locatie was schitterend, een prachtige tuin met een grote mooie vijver, een zeer vriendelijke eigenaar die veel informatie gaf over de omgeving

De rust en het te knusse huiselijke gevoel. De kerstversiering was gezellig neergezet en de openhaard was aan voor ons ontvangst. Wat een heerlijk welkom gevoel. En het bed is heerlijk.

Sehr schöne Lage und sehr sauber. Die Hütten sind sehr schön eingerichtet und es ist alles da was man benötigt

Die Besitzer waren sehr freundlich und warmherzig. Die Anlage ist sehr schön, es fehlt an nichts. Auch die kleine Lodge hat alles geboten, was man zu einem schönen Kurzurlaub zu zweit braucht.

De vriendelijkheid van de gastheer en -vrouw. De locatie is super Heel rustig gelegen in een prachtige omgeving. Het vakantiehuisje was top. Ideale uitvalbasis om per fiets de streek te verkennen.

Wij kunnen echt niets aangeven wat tegenviel. Alles was super. Wij gaan dit zeker en vast nog eens boeken.

Ze hebben echt alles! Daarnaast zijn de hosts echt gastvrij en vriendelijk. We hebben zelfs honing uit eigen tuin meegekregen. Daarnaast is de tuin prachtig. Een erg mooie vakantie.

De locatie was super! vooral de kleinschaligheid sprak mij erg aan. De 6 huisjes liggen prachtig in een appelgaarde met zicht op een vijver met gezellige eendjes die gezellig kwaken. Er is voldoende privacy. De blokhut is van alle gemakken voorzien. De eigenaren zijn super vriendelijk en gastvrij.

wellicht te verwend, maar als er een oventje in de blokhut is is het echt perfect!

The cabin interior was finished to a very high spec and was very clean. Bathroom with walk-in shower, good water pressure. Good sized fridge, 2x electric hob, kettle, coffee machine and all pots/pans/utensils.Plenty of seating outside the cabin. Air-con was a real plus. The gardens are beautiful and the duck pond very lively. Plenty of space between each cabin so it still feels peaceful. PLUS supermarket nearby for groceries.

Some may find the the agricultural vehicles passing by a little noisy but it's to be expected in the country side. It didn't spoil our stay at all.

It was a wonderful experience. We spent two nights there and everything was excellent. It's a calm place to disconnect, with an amazing view. The chalet was very clean and cozy. Host was very friendly. We also appreciated the fact there is a barbecue in the garden.

We had some problems with the toilet and the WiFi, but the response from the owners was immediate and the problems got resolved quickly.

The place is absolutely stunning, very peaceful and tidy. The place is more beautiful than it seems on the website :) The room is very well equipped and the garden is beautiful. Hosts are super friendly and nice and will take care of everything you need.

My boyfriend and I spent a wonderful weekend at this charming wooden lodge, and we couldn't have asked for a more serene and relaxing experience. Surrounded by beautiful nature, the peaceful atmosphere was a refreshing escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The lodge itself was cozy, warm, and perfectly nestled among the trees. We especially loved waking up to the sounds of nature, including the adorable small ducks that often wandered nearby. It felt like a true retreat where you could disconnect and unwind. The views were stunning, and the natural surroundings provided plenty of opportunities to explore and enjoy the outdoors. Our hosts were absolutely fantastic! They were welcoming, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. A lovely bonus was being able to purchase their homemade honey, which was delicious and made the experience feel even more personal. For future guests, I highly recommend this lodge for anyone looking for a quiet, nature-filled escape. Whether you're here for a romantic getaway or simply to relax in peaceful solitude, this is the perfect spot. We can't wait to come back!

Cozy nice and clean. Everything what you need at your disposal.

I don’t know Dutch, so it’s difficult to fill out this survey- but you should know that this property is absolutely amazing. Wish we could have stayed longer. Everything was perfect, down to the last detail.

A calm and quiet place. A small lake hosting a bunch of ducks just a few meters from houses. Plenty of well trim plants and grass. Hi quality, comfortable and very well thought little houses. All in all, a truly amazing place to stay.

Some may be concerned by animal skulls (antlers) hanging everywhere.

The location, very peaceful and relaxing. The house was clean, well equipped and cosy.

The lodge was super clean and the interior was exceptional comfortable. Everything is thought through and you’re not missing anything. The hosts Peter and Monique are super friendly and help you anytime. Peter will give you information about the surrounding area or just some good words to start your day right. There is a very well kept garden with a pond and ducks in front of the lodges where you can have a BBQ or just relax while watching the ducks. We totally recommend this place and would love to come back again.

Beautiful lodge, well equiped, nice surroundings and very friendly and helpful staff!

Quiet location, plenty of parking for guests. Great spot to use as a base for a road trip around the Netherlands/Belgium. We loved how peaceful the garden was- enjoyed watching all the birds in the pond and at the feeders in the morning. The cabin was so comfortable- such a well-planned design to fit everything into such a compact floorplan and it still felt roomy! The bed was extremely comfortable and we were happy to have kitchen to prepare a few meals in. The hosts were incredibly kind on both arrival and check out- 100% would recommend Appel Lodge to others looking for a peaceful stay.

Everything was excelent. From the location to the facilities and amenities everything was perfect. The beds are one of the softest beds I slept in my entire life. Also, the owners are this lovely couple that made us fell very welcome. We will definetly recommend it and will come back.
