Reviewed Sep 15, 2026Upea näkymä joellepäin. Kiva istuskella terassilla aamukahvin kanssa. Tilava. Hyvä sauna. Rauhallinen paikka. Ilmalämpöpumpulla hyvä säätää lämpötilaa.
Paistinpannut vähän likaiset. Toinen sänky ulko-oven viereisessä kamarissa natisi kovasti kääntyillessä. Vesi haiskahti rikille, olisiko varaajassa joku vika?

Jääkaappi oli siivoton. Tieto, ettei paikalla ole lakanoita ja pyyhkeitä oli jäänyt huomaamatta, huonosti ilmoitettu. Onneksi huomasin ed.päivänä. Ikkuna olisi voinut olla tulo iltana auki, koska mökki oli tosi lämmin, mutta eipä palellut.

Saapuessamme mökissä ei ollut patterit päällä ja sisällä oli kylmänkosteaa (ulkona satoi ja lämpötila +4C), kesti useamman tunnin että saatiin mökki lämpimäksi.

Reviewed Jun 11, 2026Sehr schönes Haus mit wunderschönem Blick auf das Flusstal, sehr ruhig. In der ersten Juniwoche bekamen die Birken ihre Blätter, man konnte im Umkreis von 0,5-1,5 Std. (Autofahrt) sehr schön wandern (Wanderstiefel nötig) oder auch in Norwegen Fjorde besuchen und auch dort wandern. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (Supermarkt) 25 min (Auto).
schlechte Küchenmesser zum Schneiden von Obst und Gemüse, kein Pfannendeckel, durchgesessene Wohnzimmersofas.

Die bei Booking angezeigte Lage stimmt leider nicht. Die Unterkunft liegt ca. 20 Autominuten weiter Richtung Utsjoki (Utsjoki – Olenjoentie 1). Zudem ist die Kommunikation ausschließlich über Booking möglich, was die Rückmeldungen verzögert.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026Yleissiisti lapin mökki lähellä Tenojokea. Tenojoelle oli todella huonokuntoiset portaat, jotka osittain rikki. Nämä pitäisi uusia. Mökissä mahtuu nukkumaan neljä. Sängyt melko kovat.
Joen varteen vievät rappuset purkukuntoiset/ uusimista vailla. Suihkun seinät olivat kalkkiset/ likaiset. Ne voisi pestä kirkkaiksi jälleen. Mökissä ei ollut uunia, eikä käsipyyhkeitä, lakanoita tms, eli ne otettava itse mukaan.

Konepesutabletit puuttuivat joten piti tiskata käsin ja mitään suihkutettavaa pesuainetta ei ollut pöytien tms pyyhkimiseen. Lisäksi olisi ollut mukava jos mökistä olisi löytynyt kattava info lappu/kirja mistä löytyisi siivousohjeet ja mökin käyttöohjeet (sauna, ilmalämpöpumppu jne.)

Reviewed Sep 5, 2025Erinomainen majoitus. Viihtyisä, siisti ja hyvin varusteltu mökki. Mökissä kaikki tarvittava keittiössä ja lisäksi pesukone, kuivauskaappi sekä ilmalämpöpumppu. Sijainti on hyvä sekä suomen että Norjan puolella retkeilyyn ja maisema mökistä upea. Yhteydenpito majoittajan kanssa oli sujuvaa. Lämpimästi suosittelemme tätä. Majoituimme mökissä nimeltään Väylä.

Reviewed Jan 4, 2025It’s spacious, beautiful location, easy accessible, quiet, warm inside, great sauna, fireplace, everything you wish for a romantic stay. Northern lights was the crone on this great holiday. The owners are nice, responsive and made sure everything is there what is needed.
We would wish for a short introduction in the house upon arrival. We struggled a little with the locks and the water for the dishwasher.

Bad communication, as questions were not answered over the booking.com-chat, no infofolder in the cabin, so no idea what to do when leaving. Trash around the house and in the fireplace. Washingmaschine and dishwasher had (at least washed) things in it...

Sofas deserve replacing, they are not very comfortable.

Linens came separately at a charge and there were different addresses for summer and winter. Thankfully the staff were helpful and ready to send us the linens even at night, but this could’ve been avoided. Given the remote location, linens should be included and the relevant address should be provided upon booking, if not earlier.
