L'accueil, la compétence de Jacky (qui parle anglais), l'ambiance, la cuisine. Tout était très bien. Il nous a même transporté jusqu'à la gare TGV de Honghe à 2.5 h de distance!

La randonnée dans les rizières où la piste est parfois difficile à trouver (carte souvent fausse...)

Jacky's guesthouse es un lugar especial en el que Jacky y su familia te hacen sentirte como en casa. Las vistas son excepcionales, la comida buenísima y el ambiente que se respira es muy agradable. Además Jacky te ayuda a preparar lo que visitar y te aconseja incluso sobre la hora que tienes que ir.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Jacky - Jacky parle parfaitement anglais et nous a beaucoup aidé lors de notre séjour, à la fois en réservant un chauffeur à la journée afin de découvrir les principaux sites de Yuanyang et pour nous rendre à notre prochaine destination. Mention spéciale à Dodo, son Beagle, qui nous a servi de guide dans les rizières. L'hébergement est idéalement situé au coeur des rizières et nous avons eu la chance d'être surclassé. Nous recommandons fortement.

Le homestay est très bien placé avec un toit terrasse sympa pour le lever de soleil! Jacky est très bon conseil pour les randonnées (non payantes) et aussi il nous a beaucoup aidé pour réserver les bus/transports etc… Chambres très propre et lit très confortable !

Les photos de la chambre (notamment la vue) appartiennent à un ancien bâtiment qui n’est en activité. Nous avions réservé une chambre justement plus chère pour cette vue directe et très proche des terrasses de rizières… Très déçus !

Nous avons adoré ces quelques jours en famille. Jacky est un hôte très sympathique, souriant, toujours disponible et extrêmement efficace sur tous les sujets. Les chambres sont très jolies et les repas délicieux. Son chien todo est adorable, il nous a servi de guide durant nos promenades. Nous avons vraiment passé un excellent séjour.

We had a wonderful stay at Jacky’s Guesthouse. Jacky is a great host – very friendly, welcoming and always happy to help with information. The location is fantastic, with beautiful views over the rice paddies from the rooftop terrace. The food at the guesthouse was also very good. Overall, a lovely and authentic place to stay in Yuanyang. Highly recommended!

Vue superbe sur les rizières, décoration très sympa, atmosphère très détendente. Jacky était très accueillant, disponible (réservations, voiture, bus, itinéraires) et a fait de ce séjour une réussite. Je vous recommande de manger à l'hôtel, c'est délicieux.

The location of this mind-blowing guesthouse is beyond excellent. The room and facilities are exceeding expectation. And the room is massive. Jacky and his super lovely dog To-To and cat, Zimba are extremely friendly. Jacky’s fish hotpot with Mala is the best in China!!

Excellent séjour ! La chambre était propre, confortable et bien équipée. Le personnel a été très accueillant et toujours prêt à aider. L'emplacement est idéal pour visiter la ville et les environs. J'ai particulièrement apprécié l'ambiance calme et la qualité du service. Je recommande sans hésiter et je reviendrai avec plaisir.

Our stay at Jacky’s was absolutely fantastic! The accommodation is spacious, comfortable and couldn’t have a better location (be ready for the best sunrises with a straight view to some of the most beautiful rice fields in the world). The hosts really made the whole difference ; they cooked us delicious meal with fresh red rice from the village and got us smoothly to and from the Honghe train station. They were kind, caring, and prepared everything details of our hikes through the rice terraces and villages (including the mushroom village). The family was so kind and generous, and their pets made the stay even homier. I couldnt recommend more the region for an authentic experience, and the guesthouse for a great stay!

An authentic, friendly, and welcoming guesthouse, located in the heart of the Duoyishu village, surrounded by lush nature and run by Jacky, a very kind and helpful host. The two rooms we stayed in offered an interesting insight into the lives of the Hani people, and provided great views of the rice paddies, sometimes shimmering in the rising mist, sometimes sparkling in the light of the sunrise. Our children loved chasing the chicken, playing with the dog, and trying to befriend the cat. We enjoyed Jacky's cooking, his advice on places to see, and the friendly and laid-back atmosphere of the place, which made it easy to connect with fellow travellers. It felt like being with family!

Notre hôte a été très disponible et a facilité toutes nos réservations. Le point fort absolu: nous avons reçu un petit dessin pour accéder à une pagode (avec coucher de soleil) et surtout une explication avec photos pour une balade de 3h dans les rizières Nos hôtes étaient très gentils et attentionnés, nous ont continuellement offert tous types de fruits Il y a un rooftop pour regarder le lever de soleil, et l’hôtel est à 2 pas de la plateforme pour voir le lever de soleil directement dans la ville Le restaurant est très bon Le chat et le chien sont adorables La chambre était bien

Notre chambre donnait sur l'arrière de l'établissement ; nous n'avions pas la vue sur les rizières mais elle était très fraiche (il faisait déjà chaud en ce mois d'avril), donnait sur le ruisseau et un petit bois. Comme elle est équipée de grandes fenêtres on aurait cru être dans une cabane dans les arbres ; c'était très agréable, calme et tranquille. On pouvait par ailleurs admirer les rizières de la terrasse sur le toit. Les repas de l'auberge sont assez simples, ce n'est pas un restaurant à proprement parler mais les repas sont tout à fait corrects et dépannent vraiment bien quand on arrive assez tard ou après une journée de promenade où l'on n'a pas envie de "ressortir". Pour tous les moments ou activités où nous avions besoin d'aide tels que arrivée ou départ en transport en commun, balade en voiture dans toute la zone des rizières en voiture privée, machine à laver ou autre (j'ai été malade et Jacky m'a proposé gratuitement des médicaments) Jacky est toujours disponible, réactif, plein de ressources et souriant. La salle d'accueil de l'auberge est à son image, organisée pour faciliter rencontres et échanges entre les hôtes du jour. C'est vraiment un lieu sympa et unique.

Goede locatie met sommige kamers een prachtig uitzicht, natuurlijk wel afhankelijk van het weer, ik had 1 dag regen en mist. Prima keuze qua eten. Jacky is waarschijnlijk de enigste in het dorp de Engels spreekt, wel zo makkelijk.

Als het wat frisser is helpt de verwarming op de kamer niet echt.

The view and the atmosphere from the room were truly exceptional. And Jacky's really helpful with everything, including honestly priced day tours - and it helps that he's travelled around the world!

Our room with a view was in an annex that is quite far from the main building, where the office, breakfast place and parking was located. Jacky's help with the suitcases is definitely needed going to and from your room!

Abbiamo soggiornato nel Building 2 per avere il balcone sulle risaie la camera potrebbe essere bella, ma ha bisogno di una ristrutturazione e pulizia.

Che dire se non che Jacky è fantastico ti aiuto in tutto a noi a prenotato i biglietti del bus per tornare a Kunming, organizzato un tour di tutti i punti migliori per vedere le risaie, dato indicazioni sui percorsi da fare a piedi. Camera molto ampia con vista su risaie, pulita e silenziosa. Colazione e cene molto buone cucinare da Jacky e il suo staff. Grazie Jacky anche per il tuo inglese.

It’s very welcoming and cozy, in a great position and it seems the choice of expert travelers, with whom we shared talks and fun time. As a plus, Jacky, the owner, is “the man”, cool, gentle, fun and ready to give advice and organize every traveler’s need. He speaks perfect english and a bit of french.

Alles aan dit guesthouse is goed: allereerst natuurlijk Jacky en Duo-duo, maar ook mijn kamer was comfortabel, en het dakterras had een fantastisch uitzicht. De inrichting van de gemeenschappelijke ruimte nodigt uit tot interactie met andere gasten. En de lokatie is helemaal goed! In een klein dorpje aan de rand van de rijstvelden.

Met een paar luie stoelen op het dakterras zou het nog leuker zijn!😄

Emplacement magnifique. Notre chambre avait vue sur les rizières. Jacky a rendu notre séjour très agréable. Il est à l’écoute de ses clients, toujours prêt à nous aider et conseiller. Bon petit déjeuner et dîner, produits frais. Et le chien et le chat Simba. On se sent comme à la maison. Merci à Jacky et son équipe. L’hôtel est superbement décoré.

Ottima posizione con terrazza panoramica sulle risaie. Camera essenziale ma confortevole. Jacky parla un ottimo inglese e e’ disponibilissimo, noi siamo stati due giorni e purtroppo il tempo non era bello, ci ha consigliato di andare a vedere un mercato in un paese un po’ distante veramente caratteristico. Il gatto della guesthouse è meraviglioso 😊

Magnifique chambre, pleine de charme avec sa verrière. Pour nous le véritable plus a été les conseils de Jacky pour découvrir les alentours. Le rooftop est très bien pour observer les levers du soleil lorsque sa chambre n’est pas orientée vers la vallée (cas de notre très belle chambre). Enfin, l’hôtel propose également de bons dîners (en plus des petits déjeuners). Le café était également très bon. On recommande :)

We had a wonderful stay! Jacky helped us with the transport to and from his guesthouse. Everything went really smooth. He also recommended a great hike and prepared delicious food. The room was wonderful.

This place has really cozy common areas and roof-top with a sunrise view. Our room was very comfortable, and Jacky is a terrific asset with his travel knowledge and English ability. You don't need to worry about getting around to see the sights.. Jacky will arrange everything for you! You can even eat all your meals in-house if you wish.

This is a very beautiful guesthouse and Jacky is very hospitable. He helped with our transportation arrangements and was prompt in replying via WeChat jacky981221. We also visited 听山cafe, a short walk from the guesthouse, set in a beautiful house serving home made cakes and yoghurt.

Nice location and very nice room

Belle vue depuis la chambre et le toit de l'établissement. Un rez-de-chaussée cosy pour les repas (malgré le froid !), de bons dîners. C'est très calme la nuit et les lits sont confortables. Surtout, les conseils de Jacky (randonnées et points de vue) ont tout changé à notre voyage, mille mercis ! Ne pas hésiter à rester un peu longtemps pour y voir quelque chose malgré le brouillard à cette saison. Quand les nuages finissent par s'écarter, c'est magique !

Jacky, il proprietario è una persona molto gentile e disponibile. Mi ha dato buoni consigli su alcuni percorsi di trekking. La mi camera aveva la vista sulla valle e la mattina ho potuto fare una lunga camminata proprio sui sentieri delle risaie. L'albergo è a pochi minuti a piedi dal punto panoramico di Duoyishu, che è perfetto per vedere l'alba. Non è distante dal villaggio di Azheke, che è caratterizzato da casette con tetti di paglia e che consiglio di visitare. La camera era pulita, il letto comodo e fornito di scaldaletto elettrico. E stato un bel soggiorno. Lo consiglio.

I had an amazing stay at Jacky's guesthouse. The place has a very cozy and pleasant atmosphere, and serve delicious dishes. My room was super spacious and clean, with a great view over the rice terraces. Absolutely recommended. Jacky is really the most considerate and knowledgeable host, always making sure his guests are having the best experience. He patiently and thoroughly helped me plan the trekking in the area, which ended up being the highlight of my whole Yunnan trip. Thank you!

Jacky and his family are exceptional hosts. They went above and beyond to make our trip with our family memorable and stress-free. Jacky gave us detailed daily hiking routes, helped us arrange transportation back to our train station, and when my son was sick, offered some over-the-counter remedies. He was solicitous and would check-in on us for longer hikes and on a few occasions offered us a ride back after long hike, knowing we had young children. His family is very warm, the food is delicious, the guest house is very charming with great views, and Jacky himself is a talented photographer with many colourful stories. My children's favorite is spending time with the guest house dog Doudou and were very sad to leave. We highly recommend this accommodation!

We had such a wonderful stay at Jacky’s guesthouse. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the location is perfect for visiting the incredible rice terraces by walk. The staff were always kind and helpful, and the restaurant served some of the best food we had in Yunnan. We’ll never forget Duoduo, the sweetest dog, who actually guided us through the rice terraces, and Simba the cat, who always kept us company in the living room. They made us feel right at home. Most of all, Jacky made our visit truly special. He arranged transportation, showed us markets and best hiking spots, shared his knowledge of the local culture, and welcomed us with such warmth. Our stay here was unforgettable and made our whole trip to Yunnan unique. We are deeply thankful for the hospitality and the beautiful memories. We look forward to coming back again!

Jacky superguy: friendly and helpful.

I had the best experience here. Location, room, food etc were all fantastic. Jacky also went above and beyond in helping me book a driver and advising me on what to see. He even drove me to the train station 2.5 hours away so that I wouldn't miss my train. I can't recommend this place more and would come back in a heartbeat.

It was an honor to stay with legendary Jackie. And his guesthouse turned out to be a wonderful escape from a busy and touristy Yunnan. I am so happy I went and will be back many times again! The guesthouse itself is a great value for the price - huge clean rooms, excellent shower, amazing fews, fantastic common space, great meals, good homely atmosphere. Though the real gem is Jackie. From the moment I made a booking to the day AFTER my departure Jackie always made himself available to answer all the questions, help with transportation, plan my days, give advice. Once locals learned I was Jackie's guest, I always got royal treatment wherever I went - that's how much he is respected. And deservingly so. He planned a perfect hiking day for me by providing clear descriptions of all trails, drawing maps, even giving pictures of trail views for reference. He was also in constant contact to make sure I was on the right path. I am city person, and even though Jackie did all the hand-holding and everything for me not to get lost, I got lost anyway. And ended up with a dead phone battery in the middle of nowhere ricefields caught in the rain very late evening. Jackie, being Jackie, got in the car and went searching for me. With the help of the locals in one of the surrounding villages, Jackie was able to locate me and safely brought me back. I was overwhelmed with gratitude! I have never experienced such caring and generous host in all my years of travel. I will fondly remember Yuanyang and Jackie, who made Yuanyang simply perfect!

Absolutely amazing stay during which Jacky took great care of us. The guesthouse is in a small traditional village and has beautiful rooftop views on the rice paddies. Jacky planed all our transfers, advised us on what to see and to eat, and even took us on a day tour. Highly recommended!

An authentic place, always clean with all possible accommodations. The hotel has a rooftop to enjoy the exceptional views of the rice fields. Jacky knows the region very well and will not hesitate to guide you on any type of adventure! There is the possibility of eating on site whether it is breakfast, dinner or supper.

- Jacky and his team were great. He recommended great hikes across the race fields, was always able to help with any of my questions and I even had a room upgrade. - Food at his place was fresh and good. - Location. Pugao is a great place to explore and see the fields.

- Maybe a water dispenser would be helpful to avoid buying so many plastic bottles

Chambre impeccable, bref tout était très bien. Le parking est juste à côté, il y a un restaurant aussi. Jacky peut s'occuper des transferts et des visites. Sans oublier l'adorable chat tout poilu et le chien très mignon. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel, das sich perfekt als Ausgangspunkt für Touren in der Umgebung eignet. Jacky spricht ausgezeichnet Englisch und war äußerst hilfsbereit. Er organisierte sowohl unsere private An- und Abreise als auch einen fantastischen Tagesausflug zu den lokalen Reisterrassen, bei dem wir von einem hervorragenden Guide begleitet wurden. Das Frühstück war einfach, aber ausreichend, und der Kaffee wurde frisch gemahlen und in einer echten Espressomaschine zubereitet – ein echter Genuss. Das Abendessen war preiswert und ausgezeichnet, sogar besser als im Restaurant nebenan.

Die Zimmer waren zwar sauber, jedoch könnten die Fenster eine gründlichere Reinigung vertragen. Es gab keinen Zimmerservice, und das Toilettenpapier wurde nicht nachgefüllt, was etwas unpraktisch war. Dafür gab es ausreichend Wasserflaschen. Die Zimmer sahen in der Realität nicht ganz so neu renoviert aus, wie es auf den Fotos dargestellt wurde.

Jacky is a fantastic and helpful host. The rooms have amazing views, the communal area is great, food is delicious and he was so helpful organising transport and pick ups. The rice terraces are beautiful and it’s a lovely peaceful place. (With a gorgeous dog who will take you on a walk).

La vue spectaculaire sur les rizières de Duoyishu L'aide de Jacky pour organiser notre séjour. Grâce à lui, nous avons fait une superbe balade dans les rizières (4 bonnes heures de marche, sans compter les arrêts pour reprendre son souffle !), une petite grimpette jusqu'à une pagode et ma visite du marché itinérant. La.carte du restaurant de ma guesthouse est variée et tout était bon.

Отель Джеки состоит из двух корпусов - старого и нового. Парковка расположена у нового корпуса. Там же находится ресепшн и ресторан, но новый корпус не имеет такого красивого вида на террасы и балкона. До старого корпуса надо идти пешком 5-6 минут по узким улочкам и переулкам, ступенькам. Мы бронировали номер в старом корпусе, и Джекки помог нам донести в своей корзине наш тяжёлый чемодан. Кстати, Джекки прекрасно говорит по-английски. Приехали мы уже в темноте, но утром вид из номера на рисовые террасы был потрясающий. Старый корпус расположен прямо рядом с террасами, по которым мы с удовольствием прогулялись утром среди крестьян.))) Здесь 3 мая рис почти везде уже высадили, но он был ещё совсем маленький. Надо приехать сюда в июле или сентябре! Джекки разрешил выехать позже на час. Вечером поужинали в ресторане Джекки, еда была вкусная. Он налил нам своего рисового самогона, который оказался вкуснее, чем водка из магазина. Перед выездом я купил у него целую бутылку и выпил её в следующем отеле. Хоть самогон был и вкусный, но голова от него болела также как и от любой другой китайской водки))) От виски так не болит. Так что, друзья, пейте китайскую рисовую водку аккуратно))) Всем удачи!

Jacky’s place was awesome and Jacky himself went above and beyond. He speaks English which is so helpful. He picked us up at the train station in Jianshui. His place was very nice and our room had a view of the terraces. He is also an excellent cook - we ate all but one meal there for the 2 days we stayed and each meal was exceptional. He gave us an itinerary for our half day in his village and we went in the rice terraces it was awesome. On our way out we were going to train to Xuishuangbanna but he said a bus would be way faster and dropped us at the bottom of the mountain to catch the bus. Would recommend to anyone.

Una struttura che non ha deluso le nostre aspettative, pulita, con terrazzo sulle risaie. Jacki semplicemente fantastico, persona gentile ed energico, parla un ottimo inglese. Cena e colazione ottime! Consigliatissimo!

Chambre rudimentaire et peu d’équipements

Nice clean rooms, comfortable beds, great staff. Jacky and his wife are super nice and helpful. Jacky's english is an added value for sure. The location is very good, especially for sunrise. Great value.

La struttura si trova in posizione dominante sulle risaie di Pugolao. È una struttura intima ed accogliente che si integra perfettamente col territorio circostante. Le camere sono spaziose, ben arredate ed alcune godono di una vista spettacolare sulle risaie. La colazione continentale è buona. La sala comune permette si rilassarsi e favorisce il contatto con gli altri ospiti della struttura. Jacky è molto presente, professionale, disponibile, preciso nelle informazioni che fornisce alla prenotazione per raggiungere la struttura. Parla un ottimo inglese ed organizza tour e visite nei dintorni.

Wenn einer, der selbst viel reist, ein Guesthouse führt, kommt im besten Fall diese Unterkunft dabei heraus: Jacky‘s Guesthouse gehört zu den besten Pensionen, in denen ich je war. Alles passt hier, ganz herzliche Gastgeber die über alle Maßen hilfsbereit sind in allen Belangen. Leckeres Essen, liebevoll gestaltete Zimmer. Wahnsinnig gute Tipps zum Erwandern und Entdecken der Umgebung.

Superbe établissement, géré par une équipe très sympa et soucieux de bien faire. Chambre avec très belle vue. Spacieuse et confortable. Mauvaise Isolation thermique mais il y a tout ce qu'il faut pour chauffer la pièce si besoin : climatisation réversible, double couette..on s'y sent donc très bien ! Très bon conseils de la part de Jacky pour les balades alentours (rizières, marchés locaux...). Petit déjeuner simple mais copieux et servi avec le sourire et la bonne humeur de Jacky. Établissement chaleureusement recommandé. Merci.

C'était un super séjour !! J'y ai passé 3 nuits et j'aurai pu prolonger! Tout était parfait, les conseils de Jacky, la localisation, la vue de l'auberge. Les rando dans les rizières conseillées par Jacky étaient incroyables et si authentiques.... Merci Jacky

Tre giorni a visitare le risaie: Jacky’s sempre gentile e disponibile ci ha dato le dritte per un trekking in indimenticabile e il giorno dopo ci ha trovato un autista per un giro più ampio.

Wij vonden het een heerlijke plek om 9 nachten te verblijven. Fijne kamer, heerlijk dakterras met prachtig uitzicht. Het dorp is fijn om rond te lopen en te kijken. Jacky en zijn staf staan altijd voor je klaar. Onze kleine kinderen vonden het er ook erg fijn!
