Nacuma Garden Hostel - Casa Nacuma

The guests, the staff, the hammocks and facilities were great! I loved my time here so much and the birds around the garden captivated me often, I was happy just hanging around the hostel all day and night!

The showers could be finicky and the toilets as well but nothing terrible or abnormal for colombia. It was unfortunate there is no heater or fan in the room to just circulate air and make it more cozy, but there is a nice big window if you dont mind having it open while you sleep lol. Not much else!

Hostel très agréable très proche du centre ville de Barichara, la chambre était confortable et les sanitaires étaient très propres. J'ai été très bien accueillie

La habitación es grande y cómoda. El lugar es bonito y está bien cuidado, cerca del centro del pueblo.

Las habitaciones dan al patio común y si hay mucha gente en la zona de la cocina/comedor puede llegar a ser ruidoso

Amazing stay in barichara. The hostel looks super cool. Plenty of places to relax. Kitchen available for cooking. Strong wifi. Breakfast available on request. Super markets, bus station and square close by. Camilo is an excellent host and always there to assist you if you need help.

L'accueil de Camilo et Natalia, l'adorable regard d'Alicia, l'emplacement proche du centre et du terminal de bus (attention ça grimpe comme souvent à Barichara), la posada en elle-même, authentique et bien entretenue.

Rien, bien qu'une petite lumière près du lit eût été un plus.

No tener tiempo para durar más dias

Super séjour dans cet hostel, le cadre est idéal. Tout est soigné avec une très belle décoration à l’image de l’ambiance du village. Les lits sont confortables et on a réussi à avoir de l’eau chaude. Mais surtout Natalia a été très accueillante et arrangeante notamment en nous laissant l’accès aux douches après le check out ce qui nous a bien arrangé ! Merci à elle

Großer Innenhof mit eigenem Charme und Garten. Das Bad in unserem Zimmer war neu und sehr schön. Wir fuhren mit dem Nachtbus weiter und konnten netterweise am Nachmittag die allgemeinen Räume noch nutzen.

Da es ohne Frühstück war, fand ich es im Vergleich zu anderen eher teuer.

Le personnel est adorable, l’hostel très bien placé à 3 min de la place principale, très calme. Le dortoir est propre, le lit confortable, avec des prises et des grands coffres très pratiques. Les WC sont propres La cuisine est petite mais équipée. Les communs sont agréable, il y a même un jardin avec vue sur le centre et les montagnes, sous le manguier …

Douches moins propres, avec les portes qui moisissent et des cafards à l’intérieur (ou qui tombent du plafond pendant qu’on prend la douche) mais c’est le lot des grandes et vieilles maisons en rénovation Il faut juste éviter de se doucher la nuit

El lugar es bonito y se encuentra bien ubicado. El propietario es todo un bacan.

Tout le cachet d’une maison vieille de 300ans. Situé près du centre et au calme, cette maison est un havre de paix. Grands casiers pour déposer ses affaires et dortoirs spacieux et confortables. Douches et lavabos dans le même charme de la maison. Eau chaude ! Accès à une petite cuisine partagée avec eau filtrée. Camille, le propriétaire avec sa femme, est un homme doux et chaleureux. Vous pouvez lui demander conseils et aide sans problème.

Pas de possibilités de fumer pour les fumeurs dans les parties communes. Il faut aller à l’extérieur de la maison

Lovely place, friendly staff, hot water. There is a beautiful garden. It is quiet, just like the rest of the village but also social as it is a small hostel. I ended up staying longer and will definitely return.

It is an open building. Walls of toilets don't reach the ceiling. But there is not much people. For me no problem, but not everyone will like it.

Je me suis particulièrement sentie bien ici, j'ai doublé la durée de mon séjour pour ce village paisible mais aussi pour cet hostel très chaleureux. L'espace commun (patio, cuisine) est organisé pour la détente et la rencontre. Camillo est sympathique, donne des conseils pour occuper la journée et adapte son anglais ou son espagnol au niveau de celui de son interlocuteur. L'ensemble de mon séjour sera mon coup de cœur colombien après 5 semaines de vadrouille

Comme partout en Colombie l'isolation phonique est faible. Heureusement je n'en ai pas trop souffert sauf les cloches de l'église à 6h du matin.

Configuration of the hostels is nice and make it easy to bond with other guests. Clean, family like..very friendly atmospheré. Owner is helpful and flexible. Staff (volonturing) was really nice. We ended up stayng 2 weeks. And big + : very family friendly!

Owner very nice, He told us a lot about local customs, special foods, and culture. And there garden is beautiful!

Camilio est absolument adorable et infiniment accueillant. Il parle espagnol très lentement pour les touristes qui veulent parler avec lui dans cette langue sinon il parle aussi très bien anglais. Le lieu est grand par rapport au nombre de lits donc l’hostel est très calme. Mais les espaces communes sont conçus pour que les touristes qui le souhaitent puissent se retrouver et échanger. La cuisine est bien équipée

Le service de laverie est assez cher et peu efficace (pas de sèche-linge).

Good budget-friendly place with welcoming staff on a quiet street. Beautiful garden & courtyard to relax, cook or have a coffee. Breakfast was cheap & delicious.

Felt like home. I enjoyed it very much. The owner brings a warm and quiet Energy inside the hostal. Beds are very confortable. You have a great space to look your things. Kitchen is available and you can prepare a lot. Space for doing Yoga 😊 Not that far from the bus stop, around the plaza, D1, Fruit stores ... Offer wash service, anything you wanna know around the town, helps wherever he can. If you enjoy a quiet space with great people it's definitely calms you down.

Prachtig hostel. Ruime dorm en gemeenschappelijke ruimten. Schoon. Vriendelijke eigenaar. Prima ontbijt voor minimale toeslag.

Als ik dan toch iets moet zeggen.. ik kreeg mn bedlampje niet aan. Maar heb niet de moeite genomen dit aan te geven. En uitslapen is wat lastiger door de locatie van de (ene) dorm t.o.v. de keuken.

Me gustó mucho lo céntrico que esta, y en relacion calidad precio, muy bien! A pesar de tener baño y ducha compartida, todo estaba super limpio!

Nacuma Garden Hostel ist sehr gemütlich, ruhig und sauber. Ich habe meinen Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Ein wunderschön gestaltetes Hostel, mit Patio und kleinem, süßen Garten. Die angenehm ruhige Atmosphäre passt zum Ort Barichara. Der Besitzer und die Mitarbeiterin sind sehr, sehr freundlich und tragen dazu bei, dass man sich hier einfach nur wohl fühlt. Sauber ist es sowieso und man ist hier direkt inmitten von Barichara.

Excelente ubicación y atención por parte del staff. La habitación es espaciosa y cómoda.

I had a very lovely stay at Casa Nacuma. The hostel is beautiful and in a great location. Camilo was extremely kind and helpful and I would not hesitate to stay here again!

I tried a few hostels in Barichara and this one was by far my favorite! Amazing location, close to everything but in a quiet street. The dorm room was huge, with comfortable beds and big lockers. The kitchen had enough equipment to cook and the common bathrooms/showers were clean and had hot water. You can also do laundry for a fee and get breakfast of eggs/arepa/fruit/coffee for 10k. Camilo is friendly and helpful and speaks perfect English in case your Spanish is not quite good yet! This place is really peaceful and welcoming, it felt like a little home and it was easy to meet other people. Great wifi as well!

As this hostel is organized around an outdoor courtyard, it does get a bit more dusty and has spiders in the corners, but they do clean often and it is just part of the charm of a place like this!

I love Nacuma; it's tranquil, comfortable and well equipped. I was going to stay only a few days but ended up lingering for two and a half weeks! And it was one of the places I was truly sad to leave. It felt like home! The hosts, Camilo and Maria are absolutely lovely. They are accessible but also respect privacy and let you do your thing. Camilo has also been super helpful with tips on what to to in Barichara as well as other spots in Colombia. Natalia, the house keeper is super friendly and a lovely person to be around. I hope to return soon. Just book it! I booked the room with the garden view - 100% recommend! It was also the most peaceful rest I've had in Colombia. Oh, and the showers and bathrooms are super clean and ver close to the room so it being shared is no issue. The kitchen was also equipped for all my needs and always clean.

On a choisit cet hôtel grâce aux commentaires et ils ont tous raisons. L’endroit est charmant , bien placé, confort et Camillo est en effet d’une très grande aide! + il parle parfaitement anglais ce qui facilite la vie parfois !

Super nice staff. The hostal has a very calm, but still social vibe. However, there are very few people here, sometimes. The view of the city roofs and church is marvellous. The area feels safe. I kept extending my stay night after night because I was able to relax here so well. Also, there is a parrot that sings the Colombian anthom in the morning, it's hilarous! Go to the pool three blocks up the hill! It is so large, prestine, calm, barely any people and only $2 entry. Next to it, there is the best mountain viewpoint in town. And, check out Comuna 13 and e.g. their Yoga Classes!

This is a beautiful hostal, Peaceful, clean, charming! It is the perfect place to get work done, as well as to get to connect with yourself in case you are looking to recharge your batteries. Camilo and Maria are wonderful hosts who love what they do, and guarantee that your needs are met. Awesome place to stay in Barichara!
