Die Lange ist einfach spektakulär. Man kann vom Pool und Zimmer aus Nashörner, Krokodile und Elefanten beobachten!

I am not really happy about writing this review because location was beautiful and staff was friendly towards me. Unfortunately once I entered my room I immediately saw bed bugs crawling over the bed. I understand it can happen in such a busy touristic place. However once I checked under the mattress I could see no one ever cleaned that bed. Sheets were very dirty. They showed me another room on different tree so I told myself it will be ok, its far away from the insected one. The room was very simple, same as the other one but clean and tidy. So I was happy with the solution untill they told me I have to pay double the price for this room. I don´t reallly see the point of paying more because the room is clean compare the other one. All of them should be clean! Other thing is that they acted like bed bugs are not such a big deal. So I don´t believe they tried to get rid of them. Just be aware. The possitive side is they refunded my money, no anger, they were polite.

The tent provides an authentic safari experience. The lodge stafff were excellent in arranging full day safari and jungle walk. A very relaxing stay and a great addition to a trekking holiday

One of my favourite places I’ve stayed! Food was incredible, yoga deck for personal practice was beautiful and the natural swimming pool and view is breathtaking in the morning! I found the staff to be friendly, a group of younger friends running it so it’s casual but I liked this.

I think it could feel cleaner, I had a private bathroom but it was used by other people and was not clean on arrival or cleaned daily. Also, wasn’t a problem but it’s still under renovation so there are a lot of workmen around.

The location, the ambiance and the overall thought given behind the making of the property.

Not a con in particular, but as the property is very close to a wildlife reserve you will get to see and interact with bugs, spiders and other parts of ecosystem. So you are not big of a wildlife nerd opt for their tent option.

Eine sehr schöne ruhige Anlage mitten am River. Und sofort gabs ein Nashorn im Wasser zu sehen. Es gibt Guidetoure gegen Trinkgeld am Fluss entlang bis Sauraha mit einigen netten Infos. Die Anlage bietet alles was man braucht. Gutes, günstiges Essen, einen suuuuper Pool mit Liegen mit Blick auf den River. Der Eigentümer cool und echt nett. Es gibt Yoga von Brook. Zu Fuss in 5 min mitten im lauten Zentrum.

Die Anlage ist sehr nett gemacht mit unterschiedlichen Zimmern im Baumhaus, in den Hütten oder auch m Zelt. Viele Gemeinschaftsflächen und das absolute Highlight ist der Blick auf den Fluss mit Sitzplätzen zum genießen! Das Essen ist recht lecker!

Die Hunde bellen und knurren sehr viel. Teils bellen sie sich in Rage und das ist nervtötend, denn hello: wir sind hier eigentlich für eine gechillte Atmosphäre. Ich finde es arg befremdlich, wenn sie aktiv von den Besitzern ermutigt werden, auf die Tische zu springen und sich dort nieder zu lassen. Die Besitzer kümmert das teils aggressive Bellen egal um welche Uhrzeit nicht und auch sonst finde ich den Besitzer nicht sehr sympathisch. Er fragt zwar pseyodomässig ab, wie die von ihm verkaufte Tour war, aber das ist eher vorgeschobenes Interesse…die Tour war vielleicht ok für den Preis, das ist halt immer schwer zu schätzen… die essenspreise sind zudem gehoben im vergleich zu anderen im Ort

Prachtige locatie. Mooi opgezet met gezellige zitplekken met uitzicht op de rivier. Lekker bier op de tap.

The location next to the river offers great views of wildlife and the national park.

The lodge provided a full day jeep tour for us, the jeep broke down twice. They did not provide us with compensation that we found reasonable and didn’t take full responsibility. Also there was no warning of the rats and mice in the rooms that destroyed my bag and left feces in the room. Toilets were very unhygienic.

I was in the budget room, so other room are most likely better however the banana shaped mattress from so much wear on it were your hip touches the bone. Or the straw walls that let in mosquito. Are all reasonable given that it's a budget room. However the straw roof home to Mice or rats- whichever is better. That I saw 3 times over my stay. Which make noise during the night and then also run over top of you on the beam. Which then also ment that if it weren't for the mosquito net straw would have completely covered the bed. I am so sorry. Not a fan. A little too much nature

Otherwise the location is gorgeous right on the river. Lots of crocodiles to be seen. And great areas to hang around outside. Just enjoying everything. They offer most tours at a very competitive price making so that you join a tour with others. The only thing they don't offer is a multi-day jungle hiking.

De locatie aan de rivier is erg goed.

De matrassen zijn zo hard als steen, dit ligt niet comfortabel en deze moeten dringend vervangen worden. We hebben daarnaast niet goed kunnen slapen door het geluid van de muizen die over het dak van de rieten accommodatie liepen. We begrijpen dat het een accommodatie dichtbij natuur is maar hier zouden ze iets aan moeten doen. Daarnaast boekten we een jeepsafari via dit hotel maar tijdens de safari kregen we tot twee keer toe pech met de jeep, waardoor we tijdens de safari meerdere uren op vervangend transport hebben moeten wachten. Na verzoek tot gedeeltelijke compensatie bood de eigenaar een gratis ontbijt aan. Dat vonden wij geen fatsoenlijke compensatie voor het ongemak. Ook zijn er weinig toiletten, de toiletten die er zijn zijn vaak onhygiënisch.

Das ist eine außergewöhnliche Lodge! Sehr einfach, aber hinreißend. Muss man mögen. Die Lage am Fluss ist einfach schön! Passt zum Wild Life von Chitwan. Das Zimmer im Bambusbaumhaus hat ein traumhaft schönes Moskitonetz. Habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Dusche ist draußen und kalt - halt einfach!!!!

Great vibes at happy lemon tree lodge. Dharmik looked after us and was really accommodating. We ended up staying an extra day. They also organised our safari in Chitwan on short notice with a very experienced guide for a really great price as well (we compared prices with two other companies). Thanks for everything.

They’re still building some of the place out and have some repairs to do on the waterfront tree house. Will all be incredible once it’s done.

This was my second visit within a year. I absolutely love this place , the vibe and the location is unique .You feel completely at one with nature . We had the treehouse on the riverbank which was a great location .

It's all wonderful, it's not luxurious but spot on for us .

The location of this place is amazing.. upu sit over looking the river so tranquil and can see wild animals. The food was also very good although rather pricey. The staff were friendly and nice.. and again location location location

The controlling of the manager who did not like if you didn't book activities with them or had own drinks etc.. they also had a dog which bit our daughter and then the manager said ut didn't like children sometimes. (She was just walking and it came e to her and bit her) so these things happen but they could have cone and checked she was ok etc.

The place was very peaceful and comforting.

Some maintenance here and there. But didn't really cause any trouble.

It’s very close to the river where is easy to see crocodiles. Also my kids were enjoying the swimming pool and movies outside.

They don’t have bathrooms inside of the rooms.

The location was beautiful and we saw animals from the eating area.

Owner was a bit unprofessional and rude to us/his staff. When anything went wrong he didn’t take any accountability and threw his staff under the bus in front of us.

Everything was good.

Obsessed with this place - so unique. Somehow feels like living in the jungle and a luxury hotel. Staff and dogs so nice. Loved my safari with Bishnu. Having breakfast looking over at the river with the crocs swimming by was a highlight. Loved the pool and yoga room. Loved ending the day with an outdoor movie night and a masala chai. The perfect stay

Room was quite small and bed not super comfy, but did the job and so worth it for the treehouse experience!

Great place, great people, great coffee, great facilities. We loved the swimming pool, the yoga haul, the movie screen and the view straight on the crocodiles. Amazing place!

Really well designed place with a great dip-pool, relaxing areas and viewpoints right on the river opposite the national park. Food is very good & the young man working the bar / coffee machine is an excellent member of staff.

They sent me a message saying they'd then send on further information about their trips - they didn't. I mentioned this on arrival, to which the response was 'That wasn't me!'. When taken to my room, there was no key. It was really difficult to lock the room, maintenance was promised but this never happened. When I checked out I gave my name but was still given the wrong bill (4 times the price that of my own bill). I was then asked for my name & it was listened to. Staff performance needs to improve beyond those mentioned above.

Beautiful property in the best location! Great atmosphere and staff. Saw plenty of wildlife from our room , the pool and the bar. I really enjoyed the outdoor cinema which created such a nice relaxing vibe and a really great way to end the day.

Pool was getting cleaned 1 day we were there (understandably) and some maintenance going on due to Nepals recent weather events (also understandably) but the staff were so accommodating and informed us of both of these

The location was great, 5 mins from the main area of Sauraha yet peaceful and with a great view of the river. It felt really natural, and the jungle showers were cool

Overall the vibe was a bit off, I arrived late (around 11pm) due to a 8h delay with my bus and the owner was really awkward and confrontational about this, making me feel quite unwelcome. Other younger staff members were also quite rude, and I was ignored several times when asking about simple things. I also felt there were more workaway volunteers than paying guests, and I was the only non-workawayer in my dorm room.

Wat een mooi hotel op een top locatie! Toen we aankwamen na een lange bus rit werden we vriendelijk ontvangen door de medewerkers en een kregen een welkomstdrankje. Zittend aan de bar keken we uit over het natuurpark waar een neushoorn zat te baden. Erg bijzonder! Ook denkt het personeel graag met je mee en de activiteiten zoals de jeep safari onder leiding van Prem zijn een echte aanrader

Hoewel we het iedereen aan raden. Is het matras van de kamer waar wij in verbleven erg hard en dun.

L'emplacement au bord de la rivière est excellent pour observer crocodiles et rhinocéros car le parc national est juste en face. La chambre en bambou avec un balcon sur la rivière est magnifique.

Les sanitaires sont assez rustiques et le matelas aussi.

Cleaniness could be improved in the toilets/showers Younger staff members should not be spitting around the property. Its not really appealing to hear this sound all the time when just waking up or eating/drinking 🙈

Je n’ai pas les mots pour dire combien je me suis senti bien au happy lemon tree ! Je devais rester 2 jours je suis restée 10 jours. Chaque matin au happy lemon tree tu te réveilles avec une magnifique vue sur la rivière et très souvent tu vois des crocodiles et même des rhinocéros traverser. Les repas étaient super bons, les cocktails et bières également ! Le staff était vraiment souriant et aux petits soins. Il y a aussi deux amours de chiens : Coco et Nala qui vous donnent beaucoup d’amour et de joie. 🐶 J’ai eu la chance de faire un safari et j’ai vu beaucoup d’animaux (rhinocéros, biche, singes et on a même suivi des pâtes de tigres fraîches) Les gros plus sont : * l’emplacement de yoga/meditation qui reste frais avec l’ombre avec une vue a couper le souffle * la piscine naturelle qui permet de bouquiner et de se rafraîchir au milieu de rien, dans un calme absolu ! Je recommande vivement et je reviendrai 🫶🏻

Beautiful location on the river. Comfortable bed and nice shower and bathroom facilities (shared). The owner helped us organize many tours with an excellent local guide. The pool is also very nice.

La vista sul fiume è molto bella, anche tutto il complesso ha un grande potenziale ma da rivedere alcune cose. La guida che ci ha seguito al safari (Prem) è stata molto brava. L'autista che ci ha consigliato il proprietario per il giorno che dovevamo andare via è stato un ottimo autista.

I bagni che sono in condivisione purtroppo non sono puliti e hanno un cattivo odore. La nostra camera (su palafitta affacciata sul fiume) è in discesa e la struttura è traballante ogni volta che ci si cammina sopra. La piscina è bella ma non ha un ricircolo d'acqua, risultato: l'acqua è verde alga. Il proprietario è particolare, l'impressione è che sia in vacanza anche lui più che fare l'albergatore tranne al momento di pagare.

Location is really nice! You can see crocodiles from the bar and it is in the middle of Sauraha. We got a free sight seeing tour on our arrival day with a really nice guide. The owner helped us a lot with problems we had with our transport. The food is delicious!

We had bad luck and it rained a lot. We slept above the toilet and when it is raining both the toilet room and our lodge smelled bad.

Really good location, great view of the river for animal spotting. Close to the tourist bus station. The food menu was good value in relation to the area. One female staff member was very attentive and helpful. The owner was helpful and welcoming.

There were only 2 toilets which we could use. The outdoor shower did not work. We were in the top tree house and the roof and walls leaked in multiple places excessively, our things got wet as did the bed and covers. The younger male staff members lacked interest and ignored us multiple times at the bar. Lots of dogs barking continuously in the night, would suggest ear plugs. The pool was drained and not in use for 3/4 of the days. We understand it was not peak season but the above reasons impacted our stay

I liked everything about the Happy Lemon Tree Lodge. It was the best choice for me. It’s all eco and you feel the nature every second, the outdoor shower and pool was especially amazing. Staff were amazing, also the food is perfect. 10 out of 10. I miss Coco and Nala 🤍

It's a beautiful property located by the River. You can also spot alligators in the river, very cool. The owner Dharmik is really sweet and helpful. He made my stay super comfortable, I felt at home. Would highly recommend staying at this property if you're in Chitwan.

Paradise in Sauraha! The place is amazing, in front pf the jungle (I saw a Rhino after 10 minutes I was there. The staff is amazing and the Co-owner too.

Stunning, relaxed river side lodge with everything you could possibly need. Staff are super helpful. The pool is gorgeous. The rooms are simple and comfortable.

Perfect location, amazing view of the river. Sunset chill with drinks. Friendly staff. Treehouse was dreamy! Owner helped us book a day safari. Delicious toasts! Unique common shower.

The staff were really warm and friendly and very helpful with booking tours for our time in Chitwan. The room was rustic as it was a treehouse but we slept well after our long safari! The food was also delicious and we loved sitting enjoying a beer near the river.

Dharmik was extremely welcoming and helpful during our stay! We absolutely loved the unforgettable safari tours arranged by him with a very passionate safari guide, Bishner! After the long tiring days on the safaris, we enjoyed relaxing at the accommodation and admiring the view of the river. The freshly prepared lemonades and food let us enjoy our stay even more.

The outdoor shower could have better lighting.

A beautiful resort with a really chilled vibe. The setting is perfect, the staff are very friendly and helpful and the surprise of a pool was great. They also helped us organise our safari. Brilliant location and a really cool place to stay!

The beds are seriously solid - we even slept on top of the duvet they gave us to try and add some softness but after 3 nights my back was in bits. That’s really the only negative to the place!

Had a great stay at the Happy Lemon tree. Fabulous view over the river and relaxed vibe. Really helpful with mini tours into the Chitwan Park - I definately recommend an overnight in the Tree House

Great location with beautiful river view. Lovely food and staff. Went on an evening walk with the guide free from the Hostel and saw a Rhino bathing in the river with lots of birds identified too, Would recommend for your stay in Chitwan.

Can be noisy at night with all the noises from the animals in the forest. Earplugs are recommended

- A beautiful location right by the river, - The owner and staff are welcoming and helpful, - Plenty activities available, often at a better price than elsewhere, - Be sure to Ask for Bisnu! He’s fantastic, - I did the evening walk, a full-day jeep tour and the full-day walk tour with overnight stay in the tower (I regret not doing the canoeing/walk), overnight stay : highly recommended! - The beds are very comfortable, with towels and mosquito nets provided, - The outdoor shower is great, - I would have stayed longer if I could!

- The food is slightly more expensive than in town, - Hotel guests, should have a reduction compared to town visitors ahah, - It would be great if there were mosquito nets on the windows to be able to sleep with the windows open
