Reviewed Aug 10, 2026Majoitus toimi hyvin kolmelle aikuiselle ja kahdelle koiralle ja tilaa olisi ollut isommallekin seurueelle. Majoituimme Lumikissa, joka tarjosi sopivasti yksityisyyttä, kuten oman rantasaunan ja uimalaiturin, mutta oli kuitenkin päärakennuksen läheisyydessä ja siten lähellä aamiaistilaa. Erityisesti pidimme herkullisesta ja täyttävästä aamiaisesta, joka pöytään tarjoiltuna oli kaunis kuin taideteos. Palvelu oli ensiluokkaista - isäntäväki otti meidät lämpimästi vastaan ja kertoi kiinnostavia tarinoita majapaikan ja alueen historiasta.
Varsinaisia puutteita ei ollut, mutta hyvä tiedostaa että kauppaan ja Repoveden pääreitistölle tulee matkaa 15-20 km. Lemmikit on sallittuja (mikä on hyvä asia), joten puhtaus myös sen mukaista.

Reviewed Aug 9, 2026Really enjoyed my stay in this cosy lakeside cottage. A perfect place if you’re seeking peace, quiet and solitude. All the facilities you need & friendly hosts. Wonderful to sit in the garden watching black-throated loons swim by and the sun setting over the lake.

Kannattaisi korjata keittiön jätevaunun avaamis- ja sulkemismekanismi. Viemärin ajoittainen haju häiritsi. Raput yläkertaan narisevat. Kannattaisi olla ohjeet veden juoksuttamisesta lämpimän veden saamiseksi. Imurin varsi ei lukittunut pitempään asentoon ja pölypusseja saisi olla vaihtoa varten. Jätepusseja voisi olla enemmän tarjolla. Pieniä kattiloita voisi olla käytettävissä.

Reviewed Oct 27, 2025Leila hat uns herzlich empfangen. Schüsselübergabe ohne Probleme. Die Lage ist fantastisch, auch im Herbst. Das Frühstück war hervorragend. Leider waren wir nur eine Nacht dort. Falls wir nochmals nach Finnland kommen, dann wird auch ein längerer Aufenthalt bei Leila geplant.

Siivous ei kuulunut hintaan eikä se ollut varatessa selkeästi merkattuna. Sisälämpötila oli lokakuussa n 17 astetta, takka lämmitti kyllä mukavasti mutta sekin olisi ollut mukava tietää etukäteen.

Reviewed Aug 21, 2025Läget var fantastiskt, nära stranden! Helt avskilt trots grannar nära. Värdarna välkomnande! Lyx att få vedeldad bastu och kunna bada i sjön! huset var mysigt inrett och bra utrustat. Rekommenderas starkt!
Framkom inte helt tydligt att samtliga bäddar (utom en) låg på övervåningen och det var branta trappor som mina föräldrar hade svårt att gå i.

Reviewed Aug 16, 2025Posizione assolutamente magnifica sul lago, ambiente confortevole e decisamente rilassante (dondolo, amaca…). Cabin piuttosto grezzo e autentico, con sauna interna. Barca e barbecue a disposizione. Padroni di casa molto gentili e piacevoli.
Lavandino del bagno un po’ scomodo e con valvola che perdeva. Pulizia generale da migliorare, ma come tutti i cabin finlandesi dipende da chi vi soggiorna già che la regola è pulire la struttura a fine soggiorno.

Reviewed Apr 21, 2025Very cozy cottage by the lake and traditional wooden sauna was fantastic. We went to Repovesi for a day hike and spent one night at cottage. We will come back to do sup around the lake next time in summer. Although no wifi but we are mostly outside so it didn’t effect us much, had a pleasant stay and relaxing Easter weekend. Thank you Leila. 😍😊🙏

Reviewed Oct 3, 2024Spacious and clean house with nice view of the lake. Use of sauna and boat is included. The closest supermarket is 20 min away. Linkkumylly is located near beautiful Repovesi Nationalpark. We had a great time in Linkkumylly and i highly recommend to stay there!

Reviewed Sep 18, 2024The property was beautiful and peaceful. The private sauna, covered deck, and private lake access were fantastic, and the owners were very helpful when we rented kayaks.
The bathroom in the cottage is small, however there was a large shower in the sauna so the small bathroom was not a problem.

Reviewed Aug 16, 2024Superb location right by the lake. We loved the private sauna and jumping into the lake right after. We saw some amazing sunsets from the cottage! It has a fully equipped kitchen so cooking was no problem at all. And last but not the least, Leila and Ari were amazing hosts. We pre-booked Leila’s breakfast which was super yummy and a great start to the day. Leila also recommend a hiking route through a forest not too far from the cottage which was really nice! It’s about a 25 min drive to Repovesi national park, ideal for day hikes.

Reviewed Sep 7, 2023Friendly and warm welcome by Leila and Ari, got also a tip for a perfect evening stroll close by (asked as we were travelling with our dog). Cottage was very clean and the property well kept, all in all a super comfortable stay with out own bit of lake front facing the sunset. Highly recommended!

Reviewed Jul 29, 2023Beautiful lakeside setting with everything you could want - sauna, fishing rods, boat, berries to forage for, forest walks, nearby towns and shops. We loved staying in this very peaceful cottage.
It was quite clean but could have been that little bit cleaner. Mosquitos are a problem there so bring deterrent lotions etc.
