I had an amazing stay at riad The place was clean, cozy, and perfectly located close to everything. The staff were super friendly, especially La7ssan and the social vibe made it really easy to connect with other travelers. Great budget spot—I’d definitely come back if im in kech

Beau séjour à Marrakech ! Riad au cœur de la médina, une immersion authentique même si l'ambiance animée peut demander un peu d'énergie sur la durée, c'estt idéal pour un court séjour. Les activités étaient top et ont permis de belles rencontres.

La chambre était partagée et un peu différente des photos, et quelques avantages mentionnés sur Booking étaient finalement à régler sur place , de petits détails à connaître avant de réserver, sans plus.

Durch einen kleinen Handgriff wurde das WLAN verbessert und funktioniert nun fast einwandfrei auf der Terrasse und im Zimmer.

Frühstück könnte etwas Abwechslung vertragen. Die Schließfächer sind veraltet und könnten ausgetauscht werden.

Het ontbijt niet genomen daar ik nooit vroeg eet. Maar werd mij wel aangeboden. En genoten van alsnog voorhanden koffie. Af en toe Live muziek in de avond en mensen die je leert kennen. De ligging is ideaal, midden in de Medina. Personeel Fouzia en Lahcen, maken je verblijf aangenaam. En eigen badkamer was heel fijn. Kortom.....zeer prettige herinnering!

De kussens,lakens, en verder interieur kan wel vernieuwing gebruiken. Alles wel schoon maar verouderd

Es ist angenehm ruhig im Riad, Zimmer im Moment oft nicht ausgelastet, sodass man oft nur zu 2 oder 3 ist.

WLAN fällt ständig aus. Frühstück könnte abwechslungsreicher sein und mit Saft.

Alles was man braucht ist da, Toiletten und Duschen getrennt nach Geschlecht.

Auch hier müsste mal wieder etwas renoviert werden, neue Farbe, ein paar Matratzen austauschen und von den 5 Schließfächern sind nur 3 benutzbar. Seife könnte mal wieder aufgefüllt werden, der Spender ist seit Tagen leer.

Waschmaschinennutzung ist gegen 5 € möglich. Es ist angenehm ruhig im Riad im allgemeinen, wäre schön wenn andere Gäste sich ebenfalls ruhig verhalten würden während der Ruhezeit.

Das Internet muß dringend verbessert werden, immer wieder fliegt man raus. Dieses Problem ist seit Jahren vorhanden.

Schönes Riad mit viel "grün", getrennte Bäder für Männer und Frauen. Frühstück ist auf Wunsch gegen 4 € möglich. Es besteht die Möglichkeit zum Wäsche waschen, kostet 5 € pro Maschine. Pro Person ein kleiner abschließbarer Schrank, Schlösser vorhanden.

Die Schlafräume sollten nach Geschlecht getrennt werden. Pro Bett ein kleines Regal wäre schön als Ablage für Handy oder Brille. Leider keine Vorhänge vor den einzelnen Betten.

NÃO FIQUE NESSE LUGAR! Minha estadia no Riad Sijane foi um verdadeiro pesadelo e um risco à saúde. O lugar é extremamente sujo e totalmente impróprio para a saúde humana. A pior parte da minha experiência foi a infestação de insetos. Estando sozinho em um lugar desconhecido e sem conseguir me mudar de imediato, fui atacado por percevejos (bed bugs). Começaram a aparecer várias picadas ao longo de todo o meu corpo. Fui picado por toda a parte: costas, peito, braços e pernas. Foi desesperador e nojento. Além da falta de higiene absurda, o anúncio deles na página do Booking.com é uma propaganda enganosa descarada. Eles afirmam que há ar-condicionado, purificador de ar e até secador de cabelo. Não tem NADA disso em NENHUM local do hostel. Logo quando cheguei, questionei o dono sobre o ar-condicionado (que eu havia pagado para ter). Ele ficou apontando para um ventilador comum. Eu falei que aquilo era apenas um ventilador e não um ar-condicionado, e ele, com total descaso e falta de respeito, simplesmente respondeu que "era o que tinha e pronto". Para completar a péssima experiência, o Wi-Fi sequer funcionava direito no quarto. Evite esse lugar a todo custo se você preza pela sua saúde e não quer estragar a sua viagem.

I would strongly encourage future guests to think carefully before booking this property. Unfortunately, I experienced what appear to be bed bug bites during my stay. Afterward, I looked more closely at the reviews and noticed another guest had reported bed bugs in a review from June 11, which I wish I had seen beforehand. This experience significantly impacted my time in Marrakech. When I brought my concerns to the owner’s attention, I found the response to be dismissive and unprofessional. I also noticed insect repellent near the reception desk, although it did not appear to resolve the issue. In addition to the suspected bed bugs, I encountered cockroaches, and at one point, dirty towels had been placed on my bed. While the low prices may be appealing, my overall experience was extremely disappointing, and I would not recommend staying here.

Fajna lokalizacja. Dobre śniadanie przygotowane przez gospodarza. Klimatyzacja. Wystrój patio. Ciepła woda, płyn pod prysznic.

Zapach stęchlizny w pokoju. Wi-fi działa dobrze tylko poza pokojem. Mam podejrzenie co insektów typu pluskwy. Po nocy mamy (2/3 podróżujących) od rana ślady ukąszeń charakterystyczne dla pluskiew. Źródło może być inne, ale nie można wykluczyć, że Riad Sijane ma ten problem.

He went above and beyond to help me throughout my visit, especially when there was uncertainty about whether my desert tour would go ahead. He took the time to make calls, gather information, keep me updated, and reassure me. His kindness, professionalism, and genuine care meant a lot to me. A házigazda átlagon felüli, nagyon kedves, segítőkész. Neki köszönhetően jutottam ki időben a reptérre éjszaka, mivel az itt foglalt transzferem nem érkezett meg. Hálásan köszönöm még egyszer!

Calm ,cozy and good staff

Emplacement très bien au centre médina, petite auberge, petite terrasse sympa en haut avec 2 tortues. une nuit dortoir au rez, pas pratique, dérangé par bruits provenant de la réception, aller venue. J'étais malade, j'ai tenté de dormir le lendemain matin, impossible, départ de 2 autres clients, porte ouverte donnant sur la réception juste à côté, femme de ménage vient nettoyer bien avant midi, ai essayé de discuter l'heure, elle était persuadée qu'il était une heure en moins, faisant tte une scène, après vérification heure, c'est elle qui n'avait pas l'heure juste, pas d'excuse de sa part et comme explication, normalement c'est pas elle qui nettoie, elle remplace quelqu'un et donc elle le faisait comme une contrainte mais c'est pas mes affaires. Après ça, je ferme la porte mais de l'autre côté un digital nomad casque sur la tête, parle tout haut ds une langue étrangère, genre conférence zoom ou travail. Je lui ai demandé s'il pouvait monter à la terrasse, il cherchait le calme mais et moi qui tente de me reposer à côté, y a un lieu pour dormir, un lieu pour travailler. Finalement, j'ai préféré partir. Ma seule consolation étaient les deux tortues, amusant.

Privacy in the bathroom is limited (male/female joint shower with a curtain only and toilet with just 1/2 sized doors). Top bank beds are quite high and have no barrier on the side at all!

O barato da acomodação saiu caro. A cama estava com percevejo. Voltei para casa TODO cheio de picada de percevejo no corpo inteiro (a foto é somente uma pequena parte das picadas no braço, pois tenho muitas nos braços, pernas e costas)

The hostel is located in market itself, but the location given on google is nit correct.

Bathroom: they are very small, and the door for mens bathroom does not close. Dorm: they are fine but very shaky and sometimes its very hard to sleep.

Soggiorno estremamente deludente. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è stato tra i peggiori mai riscontrati. Durante il soggiorno siamo rimasti senza acqua calda per ben due giorni, un disagio grave che non è stato risolto né gestito adeguatamente. Nonostante i ripetuti tentativi di contatto, la struttura non ha mai risposto ai messaggi su WhatsApp, mostrando totale assenza di assistenza al cliente. La pulizia è risultata praticamente inesistente: per sei giorni non sono stati cambiati gli asciugamani e ci sono stati forniti soltanto due rotoli di carta igienica in tre persone per tutta la durata del soggiorno. L’episodio più grave riguarda la gestione degli spazi: il corridoio è stato lavato con un tubo dell’acqua, causando l’allagamento del pavimento della stanza. Questo ha portato a bagnare zaini e valigie, con conseguente danneggiamento degli abiti all’interno. Nel complesso, esperienza molto negativa sotto ogni punto di vista. Struttura sconsigliata.

Breakfast each morning was nice and the location is relatively close to the main square and within 20-30 minute walk of many great attractions and restaurants. The courtyard and rooftop terrace are lovely and the Riad was really easy to find compared to others that I had booked / stayed at. The staff were also very welcoming and helpful, particularly because I booked minutes before arriving because I had my other booking fall through and they were great with providing me a key and an ability to store my luggage on check-out day with minimal fuss.

The bathroom in the family room is not great (basically just a hose and the bathroom floor - the shower head holder points the shower straight out toward the toilet rendering it useless) and while I was there they experienced intermittent power issues along with not having hot water for the duration of my stay (not sure if that was normal or connected to the power outages).

Nuestra estancia en este riad (del 29 al 31 de marzo de 2026) fue una experiencia muy negativa que, sinceramente, no recomendamos en absoluto. Desde el primer momento encontramos problemas graves que hicieron nuestra estancia incómoda e incluso insegura. Durante la noche se desprendió un trozo de pared dentro de la habitación, algo totalmente inaceptable y peligroso. Además, el lavabo estaba atascado y no funcionaba correctamente. La situación empeoró al usar la ducha, ya que salían residuos del desagüe, generando una sensación de suciedad e insalubridad. A esto se sumó que el wifi no funcionaba y tampoco había cobertura, por lo que estuvimos completamente incomunicados durante toda la estancia. Tanto la habitación como las zonas comunes desprendían un fuerte olor a humedad, hasta el punto de resultar molesto para respirar. Por otro lado, la cocina presentaba unas condiciones higiénicas muy deficientes. En general, consideramos que el alojamiento no cumple con unos mínimos de limpieza, mantenimiento ni seguridad. Ha sido una experiencia muy desagradable y, desde luego, no volveríamos ni lo recomendaríamos. Adjuntamos fotos que reflejan el estado real del alojamiento.

La amabilidad del personal. Ambiente tranquilo se siente acogedor. La habitación privada estaba bastante bien. Es una buena opción para el precio.

Los baños necesitan actualizar y las literas de arriba son incómodas para subir por la ubicación de las taquillas aunque entiendo que es por el espacio reducido.

Wonderful Riad in a great location. The host was very kind, the facilities were beautiful and breakfast was so good!

The riad itself is stunning, beautiful tilework throughout, a gorgeous rooftop, and warm, friendly staff. On the surface, it checks every box.

Unfortunately, the mattress completely ruined the experience. It was the worst I’ve slept on in any country I’ve ever traveled to. The padding was completely gone, you could feel the metal frame underneath, and it was sharp enough to dig into your skin. I flipped it the second night hoping for some relief, but the other side was just as worn out. Such a shame, because everything else about this place is lovely. Fix the mattresses and this would easily be a 5-star stay.

I appreciated the breakfast.

I did not feel comfortable as a single female staying in the shared room, and the host was overworked and not friendly. It was raining and there was no covered area to gather in, except the sleeping room which had no wifi.

Everything was fine. I stayed at the accommodation for one week. Unfortunately, I forgot the name of the gentleman who helped at the accommodation, but he was very kind and helpful with everything. Although the breakfast was the same every day, I really grew to like it.
