HI - Ein Gedi Hostel

A perfect stay for us in Ein Gedi. The location is good to visit Dead Sea, Masada. Staff are friendly and helpful. The room is clean and with good view from the balcony. The whole complex with friendly accessibility which is very helpful for people with mobility inconvenience. Even though with not many guests on the day we stayed, breakfast is served with many varieties and good. If visit Ein Gedi again, will definitely come and stay.

Its more like an apartment comlex, not like a hostel. Reception was absolutely helpful (10/10), we received a lot of information over the phone prioir to our arrival. We climbed the Masada at dawn, and wanted to have just a breakfast bag. But they offered to transfer our breakfast to their other hostel, that is right at the base of Masada, so after our hike we could got straight for breakfast. The buffett was in fact great. But if you want to eat your own dinner in your room, take some plates and cutlery with you, as these will not be provided in the rooms.

שווה את הכסף אל תתייחסו לביקורות הרעות (שעל פי הם חשבנו שנגיע לגרוע מכל והיה ההיפך לגמריי) קיבלנו חדר עם קצת נמלים ביקשנו בקבלה להחליף חדר מיד דאגו לנו ואף נתנו לנו מספר בחירות המקום מתאים לשבתות חתן / גיבוש/ ישיבות /סמינר וכדומה צוות המטבח עושה עבודה מצוינת השף מבשל טעים מאוד צאו ותתפנקו

L’établissement est en travaux d’e tension et d’aménagement . Mais tout est fait pour que cela pèse le moins possible

Cleanliness Staff friendly

The room was specious, clean and a balcony with great view. Reception and dining room are extremely service minded and helpful with the right accommodating attitude.

Could be nice to have a good amount of shower gel and shampoo. Great if there was a hanger in the balcony to dry towels and bathing suits.

Price is way too high for what you get

Die Lage, die Lage nochmals die Lage. Riesiger Balkon…….schön Kühl …Und wir haben so ein schönes und gutes Frühstück bekommen. Waren fast die einzigen Gäste.Nettes Personal. Toller echter Kaffee.

הצוות בקבלה, בחדר האוכל בארוחת הבוקר היה שרותי יעיל ומאיר פנים.

ההתברברות במציאת החדר למרות שקיבלנו הסבר ומפה בערב שהגענו לא מצאנו בקלות, היה מתאים לנו ליווי לחדר לפחות עד למעלית היעודית.

מעבר לדירוג- היחס היפה. בארוחת בוקר גם אפשרו לנו הזמנה של מה שאנחנו רוצים ( לא רצינו) , גם קיבלנו צלחת עם פלחי אבטיח קרים. החדר שקיבלנו מרווח, נקי. אחת המנורות בחדר לא היתה תקינה- טופלה לפי בקשתנו. צ'ק אין- הגענו מעט מוקדם , והתקבלנו. בקיצור- מעולה!

Well located and quiet hotel in Ein Gedi. It has parking. The rooms are large and the beds comfortable.

The view and breakfast were great. It's a fabulous location close to the dead sea and Ein Gedi.

The bathrooms were not clean. The shower had a lot of mold on the walls.

The Breakfast was very nice, We also took Buffet Lunch, it was very good. The Hostel is secure, nicely located and well maintained. Just note that its a Hostel and not a hotel, thus all the things are basic, nothing exceptional.

The Beach at Ein Gadi is lost to sink Holes and thus non existant. One have to go Ein Bokek (30km away) if you want to swim in the Dead See. Thus location wise this Hostel is not ideal for Beach Holiday.

Location was not great. Next door to Ein Gedi reserve which was really nice but nothing else nearby. If you don't have a car it isn't a good location. 5 km to shop or restaurant at the kibbutz.

Very average breakfast. Had to pay for dinner that was expensive and very average. Frozen schnitzel. Door not hot. Basically bad camp food. No pool. Just sleep there and leave

Great Breakfast Buffet

Breakfast was amazing. Rooms are spacious and clean. There is free parking and the staff are wonderful.

The heat in the area brings out the spiders and bugs, so keep doors closed tight.

very difficult to find. the location on the app took us to field school. known in area as ANA. this was nowhere on booking nor on sign. wasted a lot of time trying to find. no answer when calling.

We loved the breakfast! The dinner room had a great view. We loved the location. Very nice quiet spot right by the Ein Gedi Park.

The bed could have been more comfy. The room felt very stark and could have used some asthetic touches.

Altogether, the place met our expectations, it's nice and reasonable price and lovely view. Nice staff too . But the air conditioning didn't work in one of our rooms and nobody answered our call to sort it out (it was past 8pm but they have an emergency number which nobody answered). The night was quite warm and it made the room quite uncomfortable

Breakfast, parking, ease of reaching the place

Place is very noisy, as this is a hostel for kids - who play loud music, play outside the rooms till 12 in the night.

The hostel was clean and the breakfast ok.

It served busloads of high school students who were very loud and very inconsiderate of other guests.

Great location, close to the bus stop and Wadi David. Fridge, tea, coffee and cattle in the room. Possibility to leave luggage at the reception on the departure day. Nice stuff.

Great breakfast, very spacious room and a view to the sea.

We asked if there will be a dinner available, they gave us a positive answer so we came with almost no food. However, they didn’t have any big group booked so they they didn’t have any dinner that day. Without a car and with nothing around, it made us evening quite difficult.

Great place, by the entrence of the national park, amazing view from the rooms balcony, clean and comfortable. No shop around, make sure to buy everything you need upfront. During off season dinner available just some days- it was really good.

A bit costly, but still the best price option in the location
