Nothing - it was great. I just think a bidet attached to the toilet bowl would be awesome. Just the hose / bum gun type would do.

Reviewed Sep 12, 2026The host us very knowledgeable and can help people to get organized and to go places. The position of the guesthouse is very good, it is in a gated community behind a road full of restaurants, two massage places and a short walk from the old Town and the night market. It is a pleasant and welcoming place. I liked it quite a bit.

Reviewed Aug 29, 2026Mama Naxi was very kind and helpful. She helped us figure out the logistics for our day trip to Blue Moon Valley as well as suggested small towns for us to visit on the way. She also recommended us a banger place to eat skewers nearby. Directly outside the gate was also the bus stop to Tiger Leaping Gorge. She will help you with the booking too.
The bathroom in our room had a semi-opaque screen so it was a bit awkward (although you can cover it with a curtain). Also do not throw toilet paper into the toilets in China as a good practice...We learned this the hard way (Mama Naxi again was a great help).

Reviewed Aug 21, 2026Staff were wonderful- the owner was able to help book a trip on the bus and was very communicative with everyone. I ended up staying one day less than expected because it was so easy to make friends there, and we wanted to travel together. It is thanks to Mama Naxi that I had such a wonderful short trip in Yunnan.

Reviewed Aug 18, 2026고성까지 도보로 가능한 거리와 버스터미널이 도보로 3분거리에 위치해 있어 다른 관광지 다니기에 편리했어요. 영어가 유창한 주인장 덕분에 의사소통에 아무런 문제가 없었으며 관광지 티켓팅과 기차예매를 직접 해주셔서 편안한 여행을 할수 있게 많은 도움을 주셨습니다. 숙소의 위생상태는 깔끔했으며 숙소의 어메니티는 충분하였고 간혹 부족시에는 즉각 조달해주셨습니다. 샹글리아관광후 다른 숙소를 예약했었는데 이곳에 머물렀던 3일이너무 편안하고 마음에 들어 다시 10일을 더 머물기로 겨정하였습니다. 다음에 기회가 있어 리장에 온다면 우리는 마마나시 게스트하우스에 재방문 할것이며 다른 지인들에게도 강력 추천할 생각입니다.

Reviewed Aug 15, 2026사장님도 친절하시고 웃는 얼굴로 질문할때 자세히 설명하셨습니다~터미널도 가까웠고 주변 음식점도 많다보니 불편한거 없이 좋았습니다~또 다른 인상은 길을 잘못 찾았는데 어느 소녀가 친절히 데려다 주었고 한참 후에는 음료수까지 사가지고 와서 고마웠어요 감사의 표시를 하려고 했으나 극구 거절하더군요~이름도 모르는 그녀에게 감사하다는 말도 못하고 떠난게 아쉬었습니다~혹시 사장님께서 그 친구를 만나면 대신 고맙다고 해주세요~게스트하우스에서 안쪽으로 들어가면 있는 숙소인지 미용 샵인지는 잘 모르겠네요~초등학생쯤 되는 소녀인거 같은데~

Dormimos 3 noches y no nos hicieron la habitación ningún día (En concreto recoger la basura del baño teniendo en cuenta que no se puede tirar el papel de baño por el wc)

Breakfast and dinner was available at the property for a small fee, this was definitely worth it - everything was very yummy. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Nice quiet street which was peaceful. A lot of common areas in the guesthouse to chill and relax.

Reviewed Apr 26, 2026Une excellente adresse. SHA AN, mon hotesse est adorable, parle anglais, m’a donné des tas de conseils, fait un excellent petit déjeuner et le soir on peut manger tous ensemble. Sha An est meme venue me chercher en ville, j’étais perdue ...alors que n’etais à 100 mètres de chez elle !!!! Maman Sha An est venue me chercher... Bien noter l’adresse qu’elle indique dans un long mail et la mettre sur l’appli. Ambiance entre les voyageurs très sympa. La guesthouse n’est pas dans la Vieille Ville mais c’est une bonne chose. On peut y aller à pied mais en taxi Didi c’est aussi bien. La chambre est agréable. Beaucoup de salles communes. On se sent bien chez MAMMA NAXI !
Internet défaillant, à améliorer. On peut cependant écrire et recevoir des messages écrits sur WhatsApp. Sinon le reste est parfait.

The house is a lovely old style building with plenty of space and areas to eat or chill out, like the sunny conservatory upstairs. You can use the fridge downstairs and there's a kettle in the room. Mama Naxi was really helpful and sweet. She spoke very good English, gave me a cup of black tea when I bought the wrong one, booked a didi taxi for me, wrote down the name of my next hotel in Chinese and best of all - pointed me towards a vegetarian restaurant not too far away. If you are vegetarian I strongly urge you to visit the Lucky restaurant. The first really enjoyable food I'd had in my daily culinary challenge across China and great value!

De docter van Mama heeft het overgenomen en was behalve ontzettend aardig ook erg behulpzaam met het geven van advies, hoe te reizen, wat handig was etc. etc. Het voet een beetje als 'thuis' in een privé zetting, zonder dat je overdonderd wordt. Het busstation naar een bestemming was iets van 5 minuten lopen. Naar het centrum is iets verder maar goed voor avondwandeling.

Reviewed Aug 25, 2025La habitación familiar es muy amplia y luminosa. El personal es muy amable y te ayuda en lo que necesites. La ubicación es buena, a 10 minutos unos a pie del centro histórico. La zona es muy tranquila. La calle principal hasta llegar al centro histórico esta repleta de lugares económicos y ricos para comer.
Las escaleras son empinadas y para subir al cuarto piso con el equipaje se hace un poco difícil.
