When we stayed there in February 2026, the staff consisted largely of young people, some of them volunteers. This can create a warm and personal atmosphere, which many guests may appreciate. At the same time, it can mean that the overall service and hospitality level varies and may not always meet expectations at a price point of USD 85 for a double room. We ended up finding another place just one block away where we personally felt more comfortable and happier with the overall experience.

El ambiente es genial para conocer gente y los encargados siempre atentos a todo, Mike, Luca y Luisa un diez, siempre atentos. La cocina esta buena, completa y las zonas comunes tambien. Buen wifi y los baños siempre bien.

Hi ha algunes habitacions que són una mica estretes.

Reviewed Feb 9, 2026Está muy cerca del centro y tiene cocina por si lo necesitas. La cama estaba limpia y si quieres ir y quedarte una noche es suficiente .
Los baños son compartidos , están mojados porque todos entran y salen y como son varias habitaciones estilo turistas dejan las puertas abiertas y el olor es insoportable. Además nos tocó un día de mucho calor y no había aire acondicionado. Además al estar frente a una calle transitada se siente mucho el ruido externo.

Los dormitorios durante las noches son frías, y tienen pocas frazadas en las camas. En una ocasión solicité si se podía encender la calefacción y el personal que atiende prácticamente se molestó por mi solicitud, por lo que no recomiendo este hostel. Uno no va a pasar frío ni malos ratos de gusto, ojalá trabajen en mejorar esto.

Reviewed Jan 5, 2026Muy amables Mike y Luisa. Se preocuparon de que estuvieramos cómodos y fueron muy atentos. El lugar es un hostal, una casa acomodada como hostal donde caben muchos pasajeros, normalmente extranjeros. Se comparte la cocina y los baños, y hay un living como espacio común.
Se comparten los espacios entre mucha gente. A lo mejor si se anda solo esto no es ningun problema, pero en familia es más complicado. Hay un refrigerador en el que uno puede poner sus cosas, pero está muy lleno y muy desordenado. Es normal que esto pase porque hay mucha gente compartiendo todo.

Reviewed Dec 31, 2025L’auberge est en apparence confortable, en revanche les espaces communs sont un peu petits pour le nombre de personnes qu’elle peut héberger. Nous avons séjourné dans une grande chambre privée au lit confortable mais la pièce n’était pas bien agencée (nous ne pouvions pas circuler correctement autour du lit) et le lit à roulette très peu pratique. C’est une auberge très sociable ou il est facile de faire des rencontres.
Nous n’avons pas trouvé le système de paiement pratique (besoin de payer en euros avant d’arriver, puis de recevoir un remboursement et repayer sur place en pesos). La propreté dans les salles de bain était très limite (cheveux sur le lavabo et les toilettes, siphon de douche bouché), pas d’éponge, pas de savon à main, rouleau de papier vide, pas de quoi poser ses affaires. De plus, le personnel de l’auberge se permet de parler fort avec leurs amis jusqu’à tard le soir et de rentrer éméché en faisant un bruit pas possible en pleine nuit, après nous avoir bien rappelé les règles de respect du silence en arrivant. Nous avons également retrouvé quelqu’un dormant sur le canapé de l’auberge le matin comme s’il était chez ses amis. Nous n’avons pas trouvé cela très professionnel.

Misschien zijn we te oud voor een hostel. Het was er niet echt schoon, zeker niet na een avondje doorhalen van een groep die vervolgens alles onderkotsten, inclusief de spoelbak in de keuken. En dat lieten liggen. Smerig.
