Reviewed Apr 9, 2026Las instalaciones son muy lindas y cómodas, tiene varios baños, la cocina es amplia y muy completa. Destaco la atención del encargado siempre muy amable y predispuesto para ayudar.
El agua caliente de la ducha tarda mucho en salir y cuando sale solo dura unos minutos. Fue muy complicada bañarse tranquila y se perdía mucho tiempo. Además los colchones están bastante hundidos.

Der Aufenthaltsraum war gleichzeitig die Küche und im Sonmer wenn es warm ist bestimmt ok. Wir hatten es aber sehr kalt und die Küche ist außen an das Haus gebaut, von daher kalt und ungemütlich. Die Sitzbänke waren so klamm, dass die Hose nass wurde, auf den Kissen schon Schimmelflecken. Mit dem Geschirrtuch hat man das Geschirr eher wieder dreckig gemacht….

There’s only 3 toilets in the house so they can be busy and the showers did have hot water but it was a battle between extremely hot and freezing cold with not much of an in between.

La ubicación es excelente, muy céntrica y cercana a puntos de interés. Además, el lugar es acogedor y cuenta con una amplia cocina con refrigeradores y acceso libre a café, té y azúcar, lo cual se agradece mucho. También destaco la flexibilidad con el check-in y la posibilidad de dejar el equipaje después del check-out, lo que fue de gran ayuda.
El agua caliente de algunas duchas no siempre funcionó de manera constante, lo que hizo un poco incómoda la experiencia al momento de bañarse.

The warm water supply is not constant, as the gas heater is very old and wrongly calibrated. You get either cold or boiling hot water, but not warm water for showering. The kitchen closing times are redicoulus. No noice insulation of the rooms.

Reviewed Mar 16, 2026The staff and the hostel manager were very nice. The rooms were spacious and there are many options for rooms with regular beds that are not bunk beds. The area of the hostel is perfect, you can see the sunset from the courtyard, the kitchen is pastoral with windows on all sides and there is plenty of outdoor seating
There were two problems I encountered: the first is the shower, there is hot water but it always changes from hot to cold water and it is a bit difficult to shower like that. The second problem is that the doors of the rooms are really thin so you hear every little noise outside the room.

- luggage storage is just open in the reception - you can hear everything, especially people walking on the stairs or closing doors. Bring good earplugs - we need more places in the room to hang up clothes to dry or air o kitchen hours only from 8am to 10pm - door was often open, didn't feel safe because one person was stomping around the house at night (probably bad luck)

Les douches sont chaotiques. Elles sont sales, très sales. J’ai l’habitude des auberges de jeunesse, vraiment, mais pas de ça .. Les rideaux sont moisis, plusieurs douches sont bouchées, ce qui empêche l’évacuation des cheveux et autres crasses, le fin filet d’eau oscille entre le chaud et le froid et, dans certaines douches, l’espace est très réduit au point qu’il ne soit pas possible de se tenir debout (je mesure 1m62).

El desagüe del lavaplatos de la cocina se pasaba tapado, problema causado por los mismos turistas supongo. También estaba tapado el desague de una bañera del segundo piso :(

Reviewed Feb 28, 2026It is a very communal hostel where meeting people is very easy. It is very close to the lake, city center and bus stop to all important spots in the region.
The property is a bit hectic and noisy. Kitchen turns super messy as people cook at the same time and leave leftovers in the sink. Our room was not cleaned for 4 days - the trash bin not cleaned, and feathers from duvet everywhere on the floor. In fact the bad covers are a bit disgusting - there is a thick feather duvet and blanket that are never cleaned, you only get a fresh sheet to put under both. I didn't sleep well due to the feather and dust. There was also always an issue with hot water, it was cold in the house and often we had to shower with cold water.

Reviewed Feb 11, 2026I really enjoyed my time in here, for being just a girl in the South I felt really safe. The place is beautiful, is in the middle of downtown where you have access to pubs, supermarkets, restaurants, craft markets, and all. Also the beach at the lake is right around the corner where you can have the best view to Calbuco and Osorno volcanoes or even if is cloudy is beautiful. There is the train station to go and visit other towns around which I highly recommend , or even bus stations at the corner to go to parks near, that's why the location is perfect. The staff is super kind and if you are a people person you can meet people from all over the world. Best part in my opinion, is that there is a kitchen where you can cook your own meals if you are not into junk food. It was so comfy and practical. It was more than I expected, and for sure one of the best hostels I have ever been.
Everything was great. I would just recommend checking the plumbing, as it could use some maintenance.

Durante varios días deja juntar el papel higiénico en los cestos de residuos sin recojer , jamás vi pasar un lampazo con desodorante en los espacios comunes . Un lugar para no recomendar

Las duchas del primer piso podrían mejorar, muy poca presión de agua caliente.

Reviewed Dec 29, 2025Das Hostel ist erkennbar einmal mit viel Liebe und Achtsamkeit bedacht gewesen. Die Besitzerin ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Die besten Zeiten liegen hinter diesem Hostel, alles ist mächtig in die Jahre gekommen. Der einst wunderschöne Garten wird nun von 10.00-24.00h vom dauerhaften und lauten Abluftgeräusch des benachbarten Restaurants belegt, da mag man sich nicht aufhalten. Davon betroffen ist leider auch das Tinyhouse.
