Beautiful communal space and full restaurant and bar services. Quite a social hostel. They work with a bracelet system for payment which is handy. Privacy curtains on dorm beds.

I wasn't aware it was up a big hill and with stairs. I was struggling so hard getting my suitcase up there in the heat until one of the guests came and helped. The power kept cutting out so I don't think the back up generator is properly functioning. So yes aircon and lights go on and off every 2 minutes sometimes. I didn't like that there was no key to the dorm, anyone can walk in and the little lockers don't even fit a daypack. They just fit your wallet and some little things. If you pay more for a dorm with Aircon, you have to be aware that staff will only turn it on at night. As I was sick I had to beg for this remote every day so I wouldn't be lying in a hotbox during the heat of the day. Probably the most expensive hostel I've stayed at but it looks nice enough.

En general la estancia fue agradable y cumplió con mis expectativas. Destacaria el servicio de la gente que trabaja alli, sobre todo Mayra, quien estuvo siempre muy atenta y me ayudó mucho, lo que me hizo estar muy agusto desde el primer dia en este alojamiento.

La piscina súper. Y el restaurante bastante bien también. La habitación doble muy bien las instalaciones.

No recomendaría la habitación que es tipo cabaña porque está al aire libre y hay un montón de mosquitos y otros insectos. Tampoco había aire acondicionado y el baño dejaba mucho que desear. La primera noche no nos pudieron cambiar pero la segunda nos pasamos a una habitación doble normal.

Great pool and view! Good location to do a day trip in Tayrona!! Some of the staff or volunteers were really helpful. I forgot to check out the night before because I had to leave early and they arranged things for me so I could catch the bus. They also provide helpful information how to get to the airport etc.

Too much loud music that feels like same song on repeat - no my vibe but if you like to party, it's your place to be. Bathrooms were also quite dirty at times and some of the staff (or volunteers) looked like they couldn't care less they're working. Most people were nice and helpful though! Internet sucks, like completely and there's no other connectivity. I've been to way more remote places with better internet. So you better do the necessary bookings in advance and once you get here, just enjoy the view without the internet 😅

L’ostello ha una posizione strategica per accedere al parco di Tayrona da El Zaino, si trova in cima ad un’altura e gode quindi di una vista spettacolare sulla vallata. L’ambiente è molto giovanile, con cena comunitaria (ad un costo extra) e giochi serali. La camera privata è molto comoda e suggestiva per l’assenza di muri sul lato della vallata. Un’esperienza davvero unica!

Muy buen desayuno y comida. Increíble infinity pool, vistas del parque y a 15 minutos andando de la entrada del Zaino.

No hay agua caliente, se fue la luz varias veces y el aire acondicionado de una de las habitaciones no funcionaba (nos invitaron a dos smoothies en cambio…)

L'infrastructure, la vue, les services et le restaurants sont incroyables. Personnel très disponible et accueillant. Grande piscine a débordement avec espace détente sympa. Dortoir climatisé avec salle de bain. Très proche de l’entrée du parc Tayrona. Ideal pour se reposer et rencontrer d’autres voyageurs.

The food the hostel serves is really good and they give good portions. When paying for food they use a wristband to scan and pay at the end of the stay which I think was convenient.The staff are helpful in giving information on how to get to Tayrona Park and to the city. I liked that the hostel was really social since it was something I was looking for when I am solo traveling.

It can be a struggle to walk up the hill with luggage especially with the hot and very humid weather. I read comments before booking that it was a walk up hill to the main part of the hostel but I still booked it because it is a social hostel. The hostel has music playing the whole entire day. Which I get they play music to give a fun vibe but sometimes it was annoying when wanting some quiet and wanting to relax in a hammock.

La vista es muy linda, ambiente tranquilo

En mi doorm el aire acondicionado funcionaba pero el agua se derramaba , en los baños compartido no hay donde dejar las cosas cómo shampoo o jabón , no hay muchas actividades dentro del hostal , aunque la Psicina permite hablar y conocer gente , más allá de la cena familiar no hay más Actividades

Excelente vista, las instalaciones muy lindas. Esta super cerca de la entrada zahino en moto, el hostel te ayuda llamando las motos. Limpian la piscina todas las mañanas.

Los casilleros son muy pequeños no entraba la maleta ni una pequeña, el personal no te da indicaciones de nada al llegar, si buscas hacer amigos quizás este hostel no es para ti, es muy tranquilo pero no hacen actividades para integrar. El ventilador de las habitaciones casi que te da vueltas en la cara al dormir y la malla para mosquitos queda muy pegada a ti al dormir ( estaba durmiendo en la parte de arriba en una litera). A la recepcionista le falta mucho sobre atención al servicio, otra chica estaba esperando su plato de comida ( que ya estaba servido) y a la recepcionista le daba igual que se enfríe la comida, se puso a hacernos check in antes de entregarle la comida.

The pool and views at Journey are amazing! The staff were accomodating, food was really good and the hostel is nice and quiet at a reasonable time to go to sleep.

We stayed in the big dorm and although the room is big and comfortable, the mattresses are hard and gave us sore backs.

No habia agua caliente para ducharse La luz se iba cada 10 min con lo que conlleva apagarse constantemente el aire acondicionado… el wifi no llega a las habitaciones. Solo zonas comunes, pero como se va la luz muchas veces era cadi inviable usarlo

O hostel é muito gostoso, os funcionarios simpaticos e solicitos. Em especial para Lola que me deu varias dicas e fez um passeio incrivel para a cachoeira Saltillo. Infelizmente o parque estava fechado e nao pude conhecer, mas acabei relaxando no hostel que tem uma vista incrivel.

if you get one of either the lovers den or paradise, there are birds that come in and try to enter through the mirror in your room and they poo everywhere as well

The place has the most amazing view. Very social hostel with amazing staff and volunteer. Especially Julieta, Ana, Vivi, Ellie, Mailis & Tom

The pool and dining area were cool and had amazing views. There were some nice hammocks to relax in. The staff were friendly and nice and the food was amazing. The location was close to the national park.

The bunk beds were close to the ceiling and didn’t have a shelf or light. The rooms were quite small and there weren’t areas to leave massive rucksacks so people struggled storing their items. No shelf in the bathroom either to hold toiletries whilst in the shower.

Very social hostel, but in a relaxing way not a party party way which I loved! The views are stunning and the pool is perfect after a long day hiking! The staff are super friendly and the menu options are extensive with delicious food options. Only a 5 minute bus ride to Tayrona entrance. We loved our stay!

Only thing which could have been improved was the wifi which was down during our stay and only strong by the reception at the bottom of the hill.

Our room was very damp, the floor and walls were constantly wet but staff were more than accommodating when we asked to switch to a new room.

Cold showers. The shared room has a floor that moves everytime someone is walking. The bunk beds move as well as people move which can be annoying. The vibe is very young and loud, so if you are looking for something peaceful, it's not the place. I thought prices was a bit too high for what was offered.

Best indoor/outdoor type hostel that lets you experience the natural landscape and the wildlife that inhabits it; fun family style dinners allowing you to meet new people every night; fun pool and games to connect people; access to local destinations and helpful staff to get you there!

Music too loud during the day. It's a shame they just dont turn it down a little. (So people can talk) Sounds from the road at night if you are in the "open" shred bedrooms. Not that much animation during the day and evening. "Volonteers" are not very invested. Improvements: A nice add-on for the hostel could be some soap in the shower. And a shower near/at the pool before people jump in it. Family dinner portions could be a little bigger for 35k.

La vista a la montaña especialmente en el atardecer y la actitud de los colaboradores. Son atentos.

La subida a pie es incómoda y las habitaciones compartidas son muy ruidosas. Los casilleros son muy pequeños y las puertas no tienen seguro. Las duchas regulares y el desayuno es muy básico. Debes pagar adicionales.

Fue precioso quedarse aquí. El ambiente en el hostel era muy bueno. Las comidas estaban muy ricas todas.

We enjoyed the location, close to the entrance of Tayrona Park. The views from the hostel over the valley are great! The infinity pool is smaller than anticipated but has amazing views. The private room was small but comfortable bed and nice to have AC in the heat! The inclusive breakfast was nice (avo / eggs on toast etc) and the lunch/ dinner menu was also good and generally varied. The hostel has a tour desk which is handy and there is also a laundry service.

Generally thought it was overpriced. The private rooms (not bungalows) are in the main building opposite the kitchen so it’s noisy from 6am - light sleepers bring earplugs! The music in the evenings can also be quite loud until late (but perhaps not an issue if you’re not staying in the main building). Not a reflection of all staff, but some could have been friendlier.

La vista es privilegiada y la piscina muy bonita. El desayuno es rico y la cocina del restaurante muy buena!

La cama era incómoda, llega mucha gente de fuera porque el hostel acepta estancias de un día solo pagando consumo. Si vas de solo viaje es perfecto, si vas en pareja o familia no es lo ideal, no es del todo tranquilo. El baño de la cabaña estaba en mal estado.

La cena familiar es recomendable como asi tambien el lunch to go si quieren algo BBB 10. La gente super simpática

El hostel es muy lindo, las áreas comunes están en buen estado y sobre todo la comida que ofrecen está en muy buen precio y es realmente sabrosa. La habitación privada está bien también. El personal es muy amable y además te permiten dejar maletas por uno o dos días mientras entras al parque.

A la habitación se le podrían mejorar las luces sobre todo y el mosquitero sobre la cama tenía algunos agujeros. La rampa para llegar es bastante empinada, sobre todo con maletas.

We arrived at The Journey Hostel thanks to their clear instructions! The sunsets over the mountains were incredible, the food was great, the cocktails were excellent, and the staff were very friendly. Special mention to Justine and Loli for all the tips and for making us feel comfortable!

Tolle Aussicht. Sehr angenehm mit dem Wind unter dem Dach im Restaurant trotz hoher Temperaturen. Das Zimmer Casa Loma war sehr angenehm mit offenen Wänden. Ich konnte unkompliziert mein Gepäck dort lassen während in den parque Tayrona gefahren bin. Es gibt gefiltertes Wasser zum auffüllen.

Man hört tagsüber die Hauptstraße doch recht laut. Und die Musik ist tagsüber in den Gemeinschaftsbereichen auch recht laut.

Die Lage ist super, man kann innerhalb 20 min Fußweg den Eingang Zaino vom Tayrona Nationalpark erreichen. Das Personal is nett und hilfsbereit. Der Dorm ist offen, aber mit Moskitonetz, es ist eine besondere Erfahrung so mit der Natur einzuschlafen und aufzuwachen. Das Essen ist lecker. Alles ist sauber. Man kann sein Gepäck aufbewahren während man wandern geht.

Es fehlt ein ruhiger Rückzugsort. Im Haupthaus ist durchgehend Musik, was schade ist, wenn man natur hören mag oder in Ruhe telefonieren will.

We stayed here on our honeymoon and it was one of our favourite places! Our Lovers Paradise hut was a real highlight, with it's incredible views for such a reasonable price. This hostel might be one of the best ones we've ever stayed in! The location is great, 5 mins on a bus to Tayrona National Park entrance, or 20 min walk. Staff all really friendly! Great atmosphere. Great food and great cocktails. Pool table and really nice communal spaces. And the pool is just wow! We watched some beautiful sunsets whilst enjoying the happy hour cocktails. If you are visiting the Tayrona National Park this is the perfect spot to stay at! (They even held our extra bags for a night for us to sleep in the park)

Für junge Leute, sehr lebhaft, sehr nettes Publikum und Mitarbeiter. für den Preis kann man nichts falsch machen. Frühstück und Essen ist durchschnittlich besser als ein andere Lodges.

Das Kenedy die Zimmer nicht zu empfehlen, es ist direkt am Pool und sehr laut bis spät in die Nacht.

Excelente hostal, ideal para viajeros solitarios o grupos que quieren conocer gente, visitar el parque nacional del Tayrona y actividades/lugares de alrededor. Tiene una ubicación estratégica a 15-20 minutos caminando del Tayrona. El hostal está en una colina donde se puede ver el mar, la montaña, la selva y unos atardeceres espectaculares. Está rodeado de una flora y fauna espectacular, los pajaritos te despiertan. Las zonas comunes son bastante amplias, con mesas para comer o trabajar, sillones para conversar, hamacas para descansar, una piscina con reposeras e incluso una mesa de billar. También venden ropa y te ofrecen tours con sus proveedores. El personal que me atendió fue muy amable, gente joven y dispuesta a ayudarte. Había reservado para 4 noches y como mi vuelo llegó tarde, finalmente me quedé 3 y no tuvieron problemas en restarme una noche, muy flexibles y amables. Las habitaciones son amplias y funcionales, yo elegí la que tenía aire acondicionado y dormí muy bien. Sobre la comida, el mismo hostal te ofrece unas versiones básicas de desayuno a las cuales les puedes agregar extras para que sea más contundente, puedes comprar para almorzar y para cenar ahí mismo. Hacen unas cenas comunes a las cuales te puedes apuntar y es una buena oportunidad para conocer más viajeros. Me pareció buen precio pensando que está destinado a turistas, igualmente a dos casas del hostal tienes una tienda para comprar lo que necesites. Además, el hostal está muy cerca de Playa Los Cocos y Playa Mendihuaca donde hay chiringuitos donde se puede comer mirando el mar y pasar el día de playa, y vuelves ya en mototaxi, buseta o caminando (30-45 minutos)

Lo que mas me gusto fue la tranquilidad y la armonia del espacio y los huéspedes. Los espacios comunes son amplios, comodos, y limpios. La pileta es increibles, y tiene muchas reposeras. El desayuno super, y las comidas tambien muy ricas.

No se detalla lo picante en el menú, y varias veces tuvimos que devolver los platos.

Magnifique endroit. On a adoré la piscine et les espaces communs. C'est facile de se rendre au parc national Tayrona depuis l'hostel.

El alojamiento es increíble en cuanto a la ubicación y el ambiente. Si buscas compartir con gente internacional y naturaleza, es el sitio.

Hay un poco de desorganización en cuanto a la asignación de camas. Tuve que cambiar 2 veces de cama y 1 de habitación.
