It's close to the good restaurant

The old air conditioner was so noisy that it was impossible to sleep. There were also some mosquitoes and other insects in the room. The bathroom was very small and cramped, making it quite uncomfortable to use. To make matters worse, the room was close to the road, and the noise from motorcycles and nearby bars at night made it impossible to get any rest.

Gorgeous airy room which is much larger in person. Shower in bathroom had great pressure and hot water. Staff were very helpful and friendly! Great location too in the centre, cute outdoor area too

Entrance is not aesthetic, and very near to rumba grill bar that has a loud music until 12-1 am

I like that we can cook for free, the location is perfect for parties and gigs. I like the elevated bed. Bed is clean bathroom as well. We were accommodated by the staff well. No ants and we like that we have rod outside to hang our wet clothes and towels.

The kitchen needs renovation because it is too dark and mosquitoes are a problem. The pans look old, and the faucet is so high that water splashes all over me, forcing me to reduce the flow. Additionally, the fan is very dusty. While the location is perfect for parties, we didn't realize the background noise would still be audible inside the room at night.

The room is clean. The hotel is along the main road, so there's easy access to restaurants and shops.

The room is too small for 2 people. Bathroom is too small, it's really inconvenient to take a shower. Barely no shelves and cabinet for storage. Disappointing. Also, the room is not sound proof so you can hear the street noise and the sound of the people next door.

Lo único que tiene de bueno son tres cosas , 1 el personal super simpático , 2 la ubicación queda cerca a las playitas y en moto estás a minutos de los puntos de interés de San Juan y 3 la precios del agua está bastante bien

Ufff la verdad muy decepcionante todo , ya al ingresar al lugar nos dimos cuenta que no está señalizado , tenés que diferenciar el hostel de la casa de al lado , entramos a la habitación que no era el de la foto , era muy chiquito para dos personas pagamos 4 noches fueron los peores , había muchas hormigas y bichitos por la habitación lamentablemente en la que estábamos había mucho olor a humedad y para resaltar las paredes son de papel , escuchas absolutamente todo desde el karaoke hasta las 4 am hasta los pasos que dan todas las habitaciones. El último día tuvimos un percance por qué eran las 3 de la mañana y unas chicas estaban en la habitación de al lado haciendo fiesta con 2 chicos más que no eran del alojamiento ( ojo por qué puede entrar cualquiera ) está claro que ya no se aguantaba la situación y mi pareja decidió bajar y buscar al hombre de guardia le explicó la situación y el señor subió temeroso como si no quisiera subir , golpeo apenas la puerta y cuando abrieron no dijo nada , mi pareja tuvo que hacer frente a la situación lo cual queda claro que no hay autoridad en nada para el lugar . Te recomiendo si tus últimos días de vacas los haces en siquijor NO VENGAS A ESTE HOSTEL .

La chambre était conforme aux photos/ La literie confortable / eau chaude ..la gentillesse du personnel. Nous sommes restés 5 nuits et le ménage a été fait complètement le 3eme jours.

Le bruit des alentours / l’hôtel donne sur la rue et la nuisance des bars autours/ chiens Nous le savions avant de réserver

El baño es minúsculo y se moja todo cuando te duchas. Hemos estado 3 noches y no limpian la habitación, por tanto con la arena, el baño mojado, es un poco desastre. Como está en la carretera general, hay ruido de motos por la noche. Sin espacio para dejar las maletas.

The hotel is located right across the street from the beach, circumferential road in San Juan. 10 meters away is the Rumbar where they serve decent food and beverages to affordable prices and they play good music suitable for every taste. In the evening it gets quite crowded and there's always a good time for everyone. Sand1 hotel you can't expect great luxury but it's very decent and clean. The rooms are a little small but that's not really an issue. The facilities are clean and offer hygiene products as well, so you don't need soap or shampoo. The staff was helpful and very friendly. But ist probably not for people who value a good night's sleep because of the loud music. Nevertheless very affordable and recommendable.

It is right across from Rumbar which is pretty loud, although I was able to sleep with earplugs.

The staff are friendly and approachable. They responds promptly to our request but sadly the place needed some renovation.

This hostel had the minimum requirement, 2 beds for family of 4, private bathroom. Shower has hot water but shower had leakage. Hostel is located in San Juan in the Main Street. Noisy AC but working good. If you need any help to book activities, better ask tuktuk guides

Pictures outside the hostel are old, there is no more sea view due to new constructions. There are some road works in from of the hostel as pretty much all around the island as road are being fixed or enlarged. No water

My sister had an sprain ankle swelling and couldn't hard to walk they recommend a hilot siquihor way of treatment in siquihor they accompanied us to the manghihilot.they are kind and really care to the guest .and also the area has a lot of store and restaurants good. Cute place! Staff were very helpful and understanding. There’s a nearby drinking place so sometimes it gets noisy if your room is situated at the end but not really an issue for us!

Location is central. But a ped is needed to explore the island as everything is quite spaced out. Staff are so friendly and helped us book transport back to the Ferry Port. Spacious rooms which were clean.

It is, like most others in the area located beside the road so load traffic. Not really a good common area, just a small garden beside the road, looked better on the pictures. The beach on the other side of the road was low tide most of the day (end january) so never went there during day time. If you drive the location is fine, otherwise I would choose the area of Tubod or closer to Paliton.

The beds were comfy, air con was cold and the shower was hot. Great location next to many restaurants and convenience store. Just cross the street and the beach is there. We only stayed for one night, took a ferry from Dumaguete and got a tricycle to the hotel about 350 pesos in 15 mins. We arrived around 830 am, we couldn't check in but we were able to leave our luggage there. The sweet lady working asked if wanted to rent motorbikes but we weren't comfortable driving those ourselves. She got us a tuk tuk and the driver Gerald, took us around the whole island to see the attractions and beaches. He was also a great photographer! We had a wonderful time on our short trip. Would recommend 10/10!

Really good staff - organised a transfer to the port for us in the early morning. Located just across the beach - perfect for watching sunset. Lovely family run restaurant within walking distance ( roadside diners ) Were able to rent a scooter. Free coffee in morning. No fridge in room but we were able to use communal fridge. Room was freshened up during our stay.

second stay at Sand1 and still a good experience. The rooms are nice, very good AC. the location is convenient with a sari-sari next door, fruit seller and motorcycle rental right accross.

It has access to everything as it is really in the center, They have kitchen you can use, very stable internet connection and even has a generator!!!! Very helpful and good for Working (VA’s). Staff is accommodating. They have FREE COFFEEE!!!!

Staff were very helpful. Location is just near everything. Property is clean and well maintained. Wifi is strong was able to do work. Globe and Smart reception is good too. Love the coffee every morning! 💓

It’s pretty bad when it comes to electricity, but Sand 1 make us feel happy coz when power is off, they automatically switch to generator soo quickly unlike the other place we stay.

I don’t think it should call itself a hostel, It’s a hotel with only 6 rooms. Don’t expect any mingling with people as the set up doesn’t really allow for this. The bathrooms are very small.

A couple of electricity problems but it was an issue around the entire area of Siquijor at the time. Hostel had a generator though which was great.
