Reviewed Aug 2, 2026We werden heel gastvrij ontvangen. Je kunt er buiten zitten in de tuin. Er is een keuken waar je gebruik van kunt maken en waar je kunt zitten.
Erg koud in de winter, geen verwarming op de kamer, ik zat in de avond met mijn jas aan binnen. Je moet betalen voor het drinkwater. Het ontbijt is erg sober, bijvoorbeeld met oploskoffie. Het is ongeveer 20 minuten lopen naar het centrum van San Perdro.

Reviewed Jul 17, 2026* Sehr ruhige Lage. * Señora Elvira kümmert sich hingebungsvoll um ihre Gäste. * Sehr klein und familiär. * Blitzsauber. * Sehr sicher. * Im Oasenteil von San Pedro mit schönem Baumbestand und viel Grün auf dem Gelände * Alle Fragen wurden schnell beantwortet Neutral / Tipp: Im Winter kann es nachts sehr kalt werden in den Zimmern. Señora Elvira versorgt aber auf Nachfrage gern mit mehr Decken und ggf. Heizlüfter. Im Dunkeln ist das Hostal schwer zu finden. Es ist korrekt bei Google Maps eingezeichnet, der Straßenverlauf ist dort aber falsch verzeichnet (Stand 2026). Die Straße führt rechts des Flusses direkt am Hostal vorbei, es ist viel einfacher als bei Google Maps eingezeichnet.

Reviewed Jul 9, 2026El lugar cuenta con amplios espacios abiertos para tomar sol o estar a la sombra. Posee hamacas de libre disposición, ideales para descansar. El desayuno anda bien, hay refrigerador para guardar comida y tetera/termos con agua caliente para prepararse un té o café a cualquier hora. La atención de Elvira fue fantástica. La habitación muy cómoda y limpia, incluyendo el baño. Estacionamiento para vehículos al interior de la propiedad. Entorno seguro. Está a 10-15 min caminando del centro de San Pedro. Volveré a hospedarme aquí sin lugar a dudas.
A veces salía agua fría de la ducha. Al rato ya salía caliente.

Reviewed Jun 28, 2026Kleine, ruhige Unterkunft, die alles benötigt was man sich für eine kurzen oder langen Aufenthalt wünschen kann. Wir waren 2x dort und durften zwischendurch unser Gepäck lagern. Es gibt eine tolle kleine Küche, kostenlosen Tee, ein leckeres Frühstück & Fahrräder zum Ausleihen. Das beste war aber Señora Elvira, die super freundlich und hilfsbereit und immer offen für ein kurzes Gespräch war.

Reviewed Jun 9, 2026This place does the basics really well - an exceptionally clean room (which was cleaned everyday), hot, powerful shower, comfortable bed and an excellent breakfast. It's about a 15 minute walk into town, but it's a flat, quiet road that is well lit at night and you can hire bikes from the hotel if needed! Being out of town makes it much more peaceful as a lot of places are playing loud music in town. There's also a fancier restaurant only 5 minute walk away if you want to treat yourself. Elvira was so kind and hospitable! She stored a suitcase that we had delivered to her before we arrived as we had been cycling before this. Plus she organised us a taxi when we left. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Reviewed Jun 1, 2026We had a lovely stay. The room and bed were big and comfy, and we loved having access to the kitchen and outdoor spaces to relax. Elvira was so kind and always helpful - when we couldn’t make breakfast due to tours, she packed us a takeaway breakfast and some snacks to keep us going.
We weren’t always able to get hot water in the showers, it was always warm/room temperature but only occasionally hot. There are no heaters or air conditioning in the room, we were nice and cool during the day and warm at night with the blankets but something to bear in mind if you aren’t used to the temperatures.

creo que el desayuno estaba un poco pobre a mi gusto, solo dos torrejas de pan integran, y por otra parte, creo que le falta un poco de presión al agua caliente, porque si la habitación de al lado utiliza el agua o ellos lavan ropa en el mismo momento, el agua sale poca y helada.

Reviewed Apr 30, 2026It was a very relaxing and cozy place and this is mostly due to señora Elvira and the way she takes care of everybody's needs. The breakfast was filling (the apple pancakes of señora Elvira are just soooo good!). There is a private parking on the premises.
The rooms would benefit from a little bit more light.

Reviewed Apr 21, 2026El lugar estaba aislado del bullicio de la ciudad y era perfecto para ver las estrellas de noche, salir a tomar algo al patio y sus bellas instalaciones o pasar el día descansando en sus hamacas tan cómodas.
Podría mejorar la señalización del lugar como un letrero más grande o llamativo para no perderse al llegar por primera vez ya que como llegué de noche fue un poco complicado dar con la ubicación exacta pero la dueña fue muy amable al esperarme en el camino junto a su hija.

Los panqueques de Elvira por la mañana fueron excepcionales! La habitación muy cómoda, el espacio común muy completo, sin duda volvería

Todo estuvo bien, solo hay que tener ojo que hay que caminar al centro como 15 min , el internet es regular y no hay TV en la habitación.

Reviewed Apr 11, 2026Muy bueno, está un poco alejado del centro pero facilitan bicicletas para acercarse al centro. La habitación cómoda y amplia, puedes descansar en las hamacas mientras esperas a que te pasen a buscar del tour. Tienen disponible café, chocolate, té, leche etc, y si avisas que sales temprano un desayuno para llevar.
Cuando llegamos tuvimos un percance con la indicación del pago y el funcionamiento del lugar. Cuesta ubicar el lugar ya que No tienen el letrero del Hostel

Reviewed Apr 1, 2026Gemütliche Lodge am Rande von San Pedro de Atacama, netter Empfang, unkomplizierter Kontakt mit den sehr freundlichen Besitzern, gutes Frühstück, Küche und Kaffeeauswahl stehen zur freien Verfügung, sicherer Parkplatz im Carport auf dem Gelände der Lodge. Zimmer sind nicht besonders groß, für einige Tage aber völlig ausreichend. Fußweg nach San Pedro ca. 15-20 min, ein Auto ist jedoch empfehlenswert. Vielen Dank für den netten Kontakt, wir kommen gerne wieder!

Café da manhã suficiente incluído. Bela natureza. Distância que queríamos do Centro. 15min caminhando pela estrada até a Caracoles.
Não ter vaga para nossa última diária.

Elvira is just such a lovely host 🫶 The breakfast was delicious, and on those days, we had to leave early for tours, she prepared a snack pack for us for. the day! This place is a little outside of Atacama (about 20min walk from Caracoles street, but we had no problem at all getting picked up for our tours. 😉 We would warmly recommend this place to anyone looking to enjoy some tranquility after a busy day.

Reviewed Mar 12, 2026Das Hostel liegt nicht zentral im Dorf, aber genau das war für uns das Schöne. Dadurch ist es sehr schön entspannend und ruhig, man sieht den Sternenhimmel am Abend total gut. Das Dorf erreicht man trotzdem innerhalb 10 Minuten, wenn man läuft oder innerhalb 3 Minuten, wenn man Auto oder Fahrrad fährt. Im Hostel gibt es Hängematten, wo wir uns Abends immer reingelegt haben, es gibt aber auch viele kleine gemütliche Ecken, wo man sich gut hinsetzen kann. Das Personal war richtig lieb und hat täglich das Zimmer gemacht - das hätten wir beispielsweise nicht im Hostel erwartet. Wenn man sehr früh zum Geyser oder so fährt, bereitet das Personal eine kleine Snacktüte zum Frühstück vor. :-) Wenn man vor Ort frühstückt, gibt es eine kleine Auswahl an Käse / Wurst / Müsli / Marmelade, aber auch frisch zubereitete Pancakes oder Rührei. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit und würden immer wiederkommen! Danke für die schöne Zeit!

Safe property especially if you have a rental car as it is secured behind a gate. The hammocks were great to relax in too.

Reviewed Mar 2, 2026Excelente experiencia. Personal muy amable y preocupado de brindar una buena estadía. Buen desayuno, flexible en horarios, con alternativas en caso de salir muy temprano. Entorno agradable, lejos del ruido del centro, pero lo suficientemente cerca como para alcanzarlo caminando. Muy buena relación precio/calidad. Agradable convivencia con otros huéspedes.

La signora Elvira è una persona eccezionale e gentilissima! Si prende cura degli ospiti come una mamma ! La struttura è buona e pulizia ottima. Colazione buona tutti i giorni. Consigliamo al 100%

Reviewed Sep 16, 2025La experiencia de alojamiento fue muy buena pero lo que la transforma en excepcional es la calidad humana y calidez del personal. Elvira merece ser destacada especialmente por su atención al detalle, cordialidad y cariño con realiza tareas para los huéspedes. Quisiéramos quedarnos más tiempo solo para poder compartir mas con ella .
