Even tho it was clean inside of the room, there were big cokroaches underneath the balkony and they would get into the room at night underneath the slit of the main door. I wanted to extend my stay but I was happy to leave early after all. The staff was nice, and helped me to get rid of them tho.

Reviewed Jul 4, 2026I stayed for 3 nights and it ended up being one of my most memorable hostel stays in the Philippines. Really good rate to extend in person. They provide filtered drinking water and hot water to make your own coffee. Nice to not have to worry about waking anyone up for diving early because we all were going. I really liked hanging out with the dive staff there in my down time!! Gary and VP are thresher shark experts and have done a lot for conservation efforts on the island. Also shout out to Rafi for showing me local food options- I won’t ever forget almost dying from being over zealous with those chili peppers.😄
Not that I didn’t like it per se but some considerations. Dorm is very very basic with a fan and it could get hot. Bathroom and common area space is what it is- think concrete, cold water. All fine with me but could be an adjustment for some as it is kind of raw. Again, one of my most memorable hostel experiences though.

No aire acondicionado, tienen pequeños ventiladores por cama. Pero estar en el día puede ser muy agobiante. La habitación tenía 7 camas y 1 solo baño, tenías que estar sin zapatos, pero el baño siempre estaba mojado por la ducha y no había nada para secarlo, entonces era incómodo entrar al baño descalzo.

Reviewed May 25, 2026We had a wonderful stay here. The resort is incredibly clean, quiet, and peaceful—the perfect place to truly relax and unwind. Our room was spacious and came with a great hot and cold shower. Plus, the location is highly accessible and easy to get to. To top it all off, the resort is a fantastic spot to watch the sunset. Highly recommended if you're looking for a relaxing getaway!

Dorm was unbearably hot. Even with big fan on was super uncomfortable. Limited plug sockets so hard choice between using fan or charging things. Downstairs is dive shop which you share the 1 toilet and shower with. Had a vibe of being unwelcome there and there was no other space to chill in.

Reviewed Apr 19, 2026Staff were welcoming and very friendly and helpful. Location was excellent - right by the beach where you can enjoy fantastic sunsets. Large room with plenty of international sockets. Large comfy bed. Very convenient for diving - the dive shop was excellent.
Maintenance could have been a little better - wonky tap in bathroom and window blind you couldn't use at back.

Reviewed Apr 14, 2026Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und hat uns bei der Planung unserer Abreise aus Malapascua unterstützt. Lage nah am Hafen war praktisch.
Leicht muffiger Geruch im Zimmer/aus der Klimaanlage. Bettlaken mit Löchern aber soweit sauber. Bad bzw. vor allem die Dusche könnte ein Update gebrauchen. Durch die zentrale Lage auch viel Aktivität und Geräusche direkt vor der Tür, für einen längeren Aufenthalt hätten wir es ruhiger haben wollen (waren nur eine Verlängerungsnacht hier).

Reviewed Apr 7, 2026La chambre était incroyable, elle donnait directement sur la plage, c'était un pur plaisir. Le hammac juste devant est un petit plus très appreciable. Très bien placé et un personnel agréable, je recommande vivement !!
La climatisation faisait énormément de bruit et elle était positionnée juste au dessus de la tête de lit. Hormis ça tout était parfait !

En el agua que ofrecen pone un cartel que indica que si quieres agua caliente tienes que ir al área de cocina. Cuando le pregunté a un chico dónde podía cogerla me indico la parte de abajo del edificio, al lado de la recepción. Todos los días fui allí a por ella y nadie me dijo nada. Pero el último día un hombre nada agradable me dijo que no podía, que era solo para los clientes del centro de buceo. Deberían indicar cuando llegas cuál es el área de cocina (que por cierto está bastante sucia) porque adivina no soy y está en un edificio anexo.

Reviewed Feb 25, 2026À côté du port, le dortoir est de 6 lits simples avec une grande terrasse très agréable d'où on peut voir un peu la mer. La chambre est grande et on ne se sent pas à l'étroit. Il y a un grand coffre pour le sac à dos et des rangements très grands. Ventilateur personnel, eau pour remplir la gourde. Le personnel est adorable. Il y a la possibilité de plongée avec le club en dessous. Je recommande 100% surtout pour le prix

Dusche war in Ordnung, warmes Wasser aber sehr geringer Druck und etwas salzig. Schlechtes WLAN, etwas heruntergekommene Einrichtung. Ist zwar Geschmacksache aber die Kissen war einfach mega unbequem.

Reviewed Jan 4, 2026Super netter Staff. Marlon war immer da und hilfsbereit. Auch der Chef und seine Frau sind sehr nette Leute. Waren über Weihnachten da, sie haben uns sogar zum Abendessen eingeladen. Die Lage ist sehr gut, Hafen und Tauchshops in unmittelbarer Nähe.
Betten sind etwas hart, Zimmer einwenig fad.

Reviewed Jan 2, 2026De ligging aan het strand. Leuke restaurantjes in de buurt. Mr Gary regelde voor ons het vervoer van de haven naar het vliegveld. We wilden langer op het eiland blijven maar vanwege de feestdagen konden we nog maar 1 extra nachtje blijven. Mr Gary regelde een accommodatie in het noorden van het eiland. Zo hebben we zowel de sfeer in het zuiden als noorden geproefd. Dat was wel heel tof.

Reviewed Dec 29, 2025The staff is kind like all Philippinos. However, the person in charge of the dormitory was seldom here, I had to deal withe the person in charge of the dive center. So, she was not able to help all time.
My first bed was dusty. I had to change bed. Then, one day it was raining like crazy. My bed got soaked during my sleep. I had to change bed again. The bathroom was rusty. But I guess this is the level you have for the price

Reviewed Nov 4, 2025El mejor alojamiento durante nuestra estancia en Filipinas, cuando podamos volveremos. Ubicación ideal a primera línea de playa y en el centro del pueblo, cerca de restaurantes y del muelle. En una zona muy tranquila sin ruidos externos. Marlon y sir Gary muy atentos y nos cuidaron, sobre todo porque estuvieron muy pendientes de informarnos sobre el tifón que se acercaba. Nos aconsejaron sobre cuándo dejar la isla y se preocuparon de nuestra seguridad, además nos devolvieron la diferencia de noches que no pudimos disfrutar. La habitación es espaciosa y el baño amplio con agua caliente. En el porche hay un grifo para limpiarse los pies al volver de la playa y un dispensador de agua potable solo para nosotros. El aire acondicionado es muy eficiente y silencioso.
Por decir algo, la habitación no dispone de amenities, convendría añadir gel y/o jabón en el baño/ducha. Hay 4 ventanas sin cortinas y entra mucha luz en cuanto sale el sol. La cortina del baño y el techo de la ducha tienen algo de moho.
