אין מזגן, החלון נפתח עד חצי הדרך. הכיור במקלחת נמצא מתחת למראה בולטת, מה שמקשה על צחצוח שיניים. אין שמפו במקלחת.

Reviewed Sep 18, 2026Struttura molto accogliente e bagni pulitissimi. La posizione è abbastanza comoda (vicino a vari bar e alla spiaggia). L’ostello è super tranquillo e adatto per rilassarli. C’è un giardino molto carino per stare tranquilli con dei gattini molto amichevoli!

At the time of my visit It’s in a town where you cannot find an open restaurant so bring your own supplies for dinner , otherwise great location near river can swim in

Las habitaciones y los baños están impecables, son modernos y muy cómodos. Además, el barrio tiene mucho encanto y cuenta con un pequeño supermercado al lado para solucionar las cenas, además de varios bares cercanos donde se come bien
Si te alojas aquí haciendo el Camino de Santiago en la etapa de Póvoa de Varzim a Esposende, ten en cuenta que el alojamiento queda unos kilómetros antes de terminar la etapa oficial. Por eso, al día siguiente tendrás que caminar esos kilómetros extra para poder llegar a Viana do Castelo

Reviewed Sep 7, 2026The family who run the hostel are lovely. Welcoming and work very hard. Many bars, restaurants and shops within walking distance. Used the free beach bus a few times which was so handy. We weren't walking the Camino but was lovely to meet some of the pilgrims from Canada, USA etc.

Reviewed Aug 12, 2026Loved this hostel! My favourite place I stayed while doing the Camino. I had a rest day here too. The rooms/bathrooms are clean and comfortable. There’s good facilities for cooking and washing clothes. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. I visited the beach which was a half hour walk and was great to spend the day at. The staff (I think is family run) were welcoming and helpful providing tips for where to eat etc. it’s not in the Espondse town but across the river. Having to both I think Fao is a nicer place to stay and is a short walk across

Reviewed Aug 11, 2026Der Eigentümer hat an allem gedacht, was ein Pilger braucht. Es gibt einen gemütlichen Garten, eine Küche, schöne Badezimmer, Betten mit Vorhang und man wird sehr herzlich willkommen geheißen. Auch am Strand ist man innerhalb von 15 Gehminuten.
Es war extrem heiss nachts (August). Vielleicht könnte man eine Klimaanlage anbringen?

Reviewed Jul 24, 2026Foi tudo muito bom, uma das coisas que nos facilitou ir até à praia foi o facto de terem bicicletas grátis, foram amáveis e foi como estar em casa.
Não sobre o alojamento mas que talvez pela noite possam ouvir os vizinhos a falar se estiverem com a janela aberta e talvez incomoda um pouco mas se pode dormir.

Reviewed Jul 9, 2026Fantastic hostel. There is a fan and two windows in the room. Only myself and another solo traveler. The bathrooms are immaculate and the staff is so professional. The kitchen is perfect sized for a one night stay. If staying more than one night, fridge might be too small! The town has everything you need, grocery, early morning cafe (I got there at 0600), bar with amazing food by the river (get the shrimp & a Porto tonic).
I did not have an issue with this, but if I was traveling with someone with allergies, they would want to know… There are cats on the property - very very friendly and lovable - but bossy! I did my best to keep the cat out of the main building but she barged in for some snuggles. If you are allergic this could be an issue.

Reviewed Jul 1, 2026The host was very welcoming, provided a lot of amenities that made the stay more enjoyable. Kitchen was stocked with all necessary equipment and other non-perishable items if needed, rooms and bathrooms were clean and spacious and the backyard was a nice touch. The host also provided us with recommendations of grocery stores, restaurants, pastry shops and other activities around.

Das Zimmer im 1. OG war durch die Sonneneinstrahlung sehr warm. Das Fenster war nur zu kippen, der Abstand zur Leibung betrug aber nur 1 cm so dass kaum Luft hereinkam. Eine Möglichkeit war, die Türe einen Spalt offen zu lassen

Reviewed Jun 24, 2026Da ich als Frau mit einem schnarchenden Mann hätte zusammen schlafen müssen (ohne Vorhang oder Privatsphäre), wurde mir als private Alternative ein Camper vor dem Haus angeboten. Das war wirklich super und ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Bad ist sehr gut, Küche auch gut ausgestattet mit Möglichkeit zum Kochen und es gab sogar noch Restprodukte anderer Gäste. Alles war unkompliziert und nicht zu voll.
Die Tauben des Nachbarn (am Abend) und die Party im Ort bis 5:00 Uhr morgens waren im Camper leider recht laut zu hören. Aber mit Ohrenstöpseln war das auch okay. Es war trotzdem ein gemütliches Nest und ein guter Aufenthalt!

Reviewed Jun 23, 2026W hostelu spaliśmy podczas naszego Camino i było to bardzo dobry wybór. Mieliśmy osobny 2 osobowy pokój z prywatną łazienką który był idealny dla nas. Było bardzo czysto i przyjemnie. Na dole jest nieduża wspólna kuchnia, a zjeść i posiedzieć można w super ogrodzie. Obsługa jest bardzo miła. Bardzo polecamy.

Ho apprezzato tantissimo la pulizia del bagno, il cesto con prodotti misti probabilmente lasciati da altri clienti che possono sempre tornare utili e lo spruzzino con il detergente per i bagni disponibile in ogni bagno così come il deodorante. Ottima anche la possibilità di prendere le bici (l'host mi aveva proposto di prendere una bici ed andare al vicino Lidl perché avevo bisogno di alimenti gluten free ma dopo più di 30 km si cammino le mie gambe non erano troppo d' accordo)
Il letto a castello era un po' scomodo ma ahimè negli ostelli è così. Per un adulto dopo tanti km alcune scalette possono essere veramente complicate da salire soprattutto se molto piccole e strette. La posizione è un po' isolata c'è un piccolo alimentari a pochi metri a piedi dall' ostello o eventualmente ci sono diversi bar e ristoranti non a troppa distanza.

Reviewed Jun 20, 2026A great Camino stop for pilgrims! The space is small but well equipped, great bathrooms, and a really nice communal outdoor space to do laundry, eat, and mingle. It’s also right next door to a cafe and a grocery store. Highly recommend!
