Reviewed Aug 31, 2026Las zonas comunes estaban muy cuidadas. La calefacción funciona bien.
Las camas eran muy justas, si mides más de 1,80 te chocan los pies con la pared. La cocina es bastante vieja. Las duchas no son privadas, solo hay dos y son abiertas solo separadas por un metraquilato transparente. Están justo a la entrada de la sauna por lo que la intimidad es nula.

Reviewed Aug 24, 2026Pesutilat olivat siistit ja tilavat. yleinen oleskelutila oli viihtyisä ja tilava. Maisemat hyvät. Sijainti hyvä juna-aseman vieressä. Hyvä lisä sateisen vaelluksen jälkeen oli kuivaushuone.
Talossa oli paljon jyrkkiä portaita ja huoneemme oli hieman sokkeloisen käytävän perällä ja keittiö oli melko pieni. Majoituimme kahdenhengen huoneessa. Kuivaustila oli hyvä asia, mutta tilaa voisi olla lisää. Nyt tilassa ei ollut muiden tavaroita mutta se täyttyi melkein kokonaan meidän retkeily tavaroistamme. Olisi hyvä, että lakanat sisältyisivät huoneen hintaan. Tämä takaisi sen, että kaikki varmasti käyttäisivät niitä. Mielestäni lakana maksu oli myös hieman kallis.

Reviewed Aug 14, 2026Majoituskohteessa uusi erillinen saunarakennus, joka käytössä huoneen hintaan. Saunasta avautui isosta ikkunasta mieletön näkymä tuntureille. Erilliset saunat naisille ja miehille, mutta pesutilojen välissä oli yhteinen rentoutumistila, jossa saattoi viettää aikaa saunomisen lomassa. Todella hieno, kannattaa käydä. Itse majoitusrakennus oli vanha kapeilla portailla varustettu ja kerrossängyt hieman hankalat. Wc-kalusteet kuitenkin uudennäköiset ja jokaisen huoneen välittömässä yhteydessä oli keittiönurkkaus. Jääkaappi oli huoneessa. Majoituksen pihalta lähti patikointireittejä.
Ennen huoneen luovutusta vaadittiin tupatarkastus, jotta huone on jätetty asianmukaiseen ja siivousohjeiden mukaiseen kuntoon. Mikäpä siinä, mutta kun tätä tarkastusaikaa koitti ohjeiden mukaan sopia aamulla viestillä, siihen ei vastattu. Eikä puhelimeen vastattu. Mikäli on lähtöaikataulu, niin menettely on hieman vaikea ja sitä kannattaisi kehittää.

Reviewed Aug 8, 2026It is already in a great location, right by the train station and can be the starting point of so many hikes! The whole place was very clean and had everything you need while not having some unnecessary luxuries (like Wifi), which makes it a great budget choice. Also, the staff was always friendly and nice.
Nothing not to like, except paying for sheets (but this is stated everywhere so wasn't unexpected at all). Even factoring in how much the sheets cost, the accommodation outprices all the other options.

Små sängar i vårat fyrabäddarsrum. (Vi är förvisso långa personer) varmt och kvavt trots svalt ute. Kyl på rummet som brummade. Två toaletter på ganska mycket folk. Bökigt stämma träff med stugvärden för att kolla städning inför utcheckning.

Reviewed Jul 7, 2026Enkelt att checka in och ut. Låg bra i anslutning till vandringsleder. Mycket prisvärt. Lite slitet och till åren med det får man räkna med. Riktigt härlig bastu med relaxrum.
Ändå ganska slitet, lite tråkigt visuellt. Madrasserna var något hårda.

Reviewed Jul 7, 2026This is a unique facility with a lot of history to it and I have stayed here many times. It is perfect for family and children and located at a railway station and with great access to beautiful hikes right from the door. The sauna especially is magnificent! There is a communal area with a childrens play area and a good little library. The rooms are very cozy and all have their own little kitchens.Don't expect it to be like a hotel. It is a self catering facility so you make your own bed and are expected to clean your room. And no TV or internet - great.to get a break from it.!
The contact with reception is only 08.00 to 12.00and only by phone. What if your phone is out of charge or not working??

De oude kleine kamer, oude achterstallige onderhoud keuken. Alles oud. En vooral al schoonmaken van personeel voor ons vertrek. Ons bijna weg jagen, om al 8:30 we mogen de kamer tot 10:30 gebruiken. Niet gastvriendelijkheid. Prijs en kwaliteit is niet goed. De deurdranger is er sterk. En oude matrassen, echt aan vervanging toe.

Reviewed Apr 6, 2026There were a couple of positive aspects: the sauna and the surrounding setting are truly exceptional, and the common area can be pleasant when it’s not too crowded.
The overall experience was very disappointing, especially considering the price. The room was extremely small, more like a cell than a proper bedroom. It’s also surprising that cleaning is not included despite the high cost, and being messaged on the day of departure to confirm that everything would be checked felt quite uncomfortable. Bed linen is not included either, and although the towels were clean, they felt quite rough, as if they have never seen fabric softener. The mattresses were very uncomfortable, making it difficult to rest properly. Overall, we were quite surprised by the low standard of the rooms, among the worst we have experienced, even compared to youth hostels.

No service AT ALL. Just a phone number to call where a bored person tells you your room number and confirms there is no shop or restaurant in the area. No help, no suggestion, no solution proposed. The room is as large as a cupboard. Was also apparently not supposed to be a room as the furniture was kind of blocking an emergency exit. Except for the sauna, everything has a taste of obsolescence. Had the impression to be back in time in some wornout soviet facility.

Branta smala trappor upp till de flesta rummen på 2a plan; tungt med ryggsäck eller reseväska. Närmaste affär på ca 3,5 km avstånd. Önskvärd således liten butik såsom STF stugor har (t ex torrkaffe, tepåsar, knäckebröd, kex, tubost, mörk choklad, soppor i påsar).

Reviewed Mar 5, 2025We had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel! It was not only clean and well-maintained, but also had a really relaxed and cozy atmosphere. The room are quite small and basic, but perfect for creating a nice atmosphere. The shared kitchen contains all the essential to cook and enjoy a warm meal. The location was perfect, with easy access to the train station, and just a 30-minute walk to Riksgränsen for skiing. The staff was friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with anything we needed. A major highlight was the free sauna, which offered an amazing view on the mountains – a perfect way to unwind after a day on the slopes. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!
The stove took quite some time before getting warm, so the cooking time was much longer than expected

Reviewed Jul 27, 2023Nice that there is a sauna, but it closes already at 20 and doesn't open before 16.30. This means that people who book this place for sleeping, can't use the sauna.
Even though the cleaning woman was doing a good job, I was incredibly allergic to the room. I have an allergy to dust mites and felt the problem already when opening the door. After one hour in the bed, I realized it would be impossible for me to sleep there and I put up a tent in the garden. The personal seemed understanding but didn't offer at any point a refund and tried to blame other guests perfumes for the allergy, although I have no allergy agains perfume.
