Endroit sympa
Surrounded by stunning landscapes, it's the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Ha Giang. The staff can arrange tours to explore the area, making it easy to experience the local culture and scenery
The staff at Milk Milk Homestay were outstanding. They were always available to help with anything I needed, from providing local recommendations to assisting with bookings. Their friendliness made my stay even more enjoyable.
It felt cozy, surprisingly spotless, and well thought-out in every detail. The beds were super spacious and comfortable, and even though I stayed in a dorm, the thick curtains gave me a real sense of privacy—like having my own little nook to unwind. The shared bathrooms were always clean and tidy, and best of all, there was plenty of hot water—something I really appreciated after a long day on the road.
The rates were very reasonable, especially given the level of service and comfort they provide. The staff were always friendly and happy to help with anything I needed—it made my stay feel easy and welcoming.
Good location, good breakfast
Really noisy karaoke from 8pm to 10pm. You can hear absolutely everything. Room was dark without windows
One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast—it was simple but fresh and delicious, a great way to start the day. The facilities were clean and well maintained.
The homestay is tucked away in a quiet, peaceful area—perfect for recharging after a long day of exploring. My room was cozy and clean, and the staff were incredibly kind. They went out of their way to make sure I felt comfortable and taken care of. I couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing stay.
The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was so good that I left completely full and satisfied. The cats around the property were adorable and super friendly, clearly loving all the attention from guests.
The hospitality here was truly exceptional – the hosts were warm, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavor and clearly made with care. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable.
Nice place, nice people! Amazing
It would be more convenient if the shared dorm had its own bathroom, but the amazing food and super friendly staff truly made the experience memorable.
We had an amazing time, especially singing our hearts out with the awesome karaoke setup. Definitely a highlight of the trip!
Lovely location with a spacious dorm that had plenty of room to relax. The beds were really comfortable, making it easy to get a good night's sleep.
Friendly hosts, tasty food, clean and cozy room. The sweet cats were a lovely bonus. Would happily return!
The staff were welcoming and helpful. They gave us good recommendations and helped us book activities. The rooms were very clean and well maintained, and there were many services available. I highly recommend this place!
We absolutely loved our stay at this homestay during the Ha Giang Loop! We happened to be there on my birthday, and to my surprise, they brought out a lovely cake to celebrate. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made the experience even more special.
Staying here felt like being part of a Vietnamese family. The homestay offers authentic local dishes that were delicious and made with fresh ingredients. The peaceful surroundings added to the overall charm. A must-visit for travelers seeking an authentic experience
A very nice hotel for guests looking for comfort. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a magnificent view of the river and countryside. The garden is also lovely. The continental breakfast buffet is varied and suits different tastes.
The hotel has beautiful views. Once you enter, it feels like paradise. Everything is clean and well looked after. The rooms are simple but clean. The owner is very kind, friendly, and always ready to help. If I return to Ha Giang, I will definitely stay here again.
This hostel is an ideal starting point for the Ha Giang loop. The staff provided helpful tips and arranged a fantastic trekking tour through the rice fields and local villages. The facilities were excellent.
Milk Milk Homestay was the perfect first stop on our Ha Giang loop. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. The peaceful surroundings made it a great place to relax after a day of exploring.
It's a really uncomfortable place. Karaoke until late and due to thin walls it feels like it's in next room. No hot water in the morning. Staff took laundry without telling anything about the cost ( I read in description that they provide watching machine and thought that's it's free) but in the end they charged us of course.no window, corridor like in prison, no bedsheets on pillows.
Dirty basic bedroom (just matresses on a floor), EXTREMELY noisy and messy until late night, buffet dinner without enough vegetarian options. Expensive for what it offers.
We enjoyed the meal together with others at the evening, playing billiard and going swimming in the pool. Was a really nice stay.
Rooms are spacious and the grounds are beautiful. Easy check in and lots of showers toilets etc
There is ALOT of sound from other rooms/outside the door. The walls are a little thin but some earplugs and you should be good!
Nice homestay as a first stop on the Ha Giang loop. There’s family dinner and breakfast available. The karaoke is turned off at around 10:30 pm.
The bathroom was really basic and old. The toilet paper was wet from cleaning when we came and the bin is totally flooded when showering. The rooms are not soundproofed at all so you hear every little move from outside and your neighbours. The beds (private 3 bedroom) are squeaky so if you’re a light sleeper bring earplugs.
The staff was really nice and the stay was decently clean.
This homestay is one of those that host big group tours that are going through Ha Giang and the karaoke party was inevitable. The problem was that my partner and I wanted to have an early night to wake up in the morning, but it was not possible. Just a heads up for people that want more peace during their stay and ask for room with windows if you don't want to end up in one without.
The room was comfortable and the ambiance of the hotel was nice, they had a fire pit outside lit and a pool table. They also had a family style dinner available for 100,000 vnd (we didn’t eat the dinner but it looked good) and had breakfast the next day for 50,000 vnd however the pancakes were pretty bad.
There were two dogs which continuously barked. Other than that, we had a great stay and would suggest to stay here for the convenience on the Ha Giang Loop.
Nice location away from the Main Street, good view of surrounding hills, old style buildings, hot water was great, heater in the room, good dinner and breakfast
I have only one issue. After dinner, from 8pm until around 11:30 pm, a super loud karaoke session meant that there was no chance to relax or sleep.. it was concert level sound. As everywhere is open, the sound travels throughout the hotel. That was bad enough, but someone started to play pool at 6am, the sound of the balls being once again transmitted throughout the hotel. I had a bad nights sleep, which spoilt my stay. Sorry 🤷🏼♂️
I had an early flight and arrived before the standard check-in time, but the staff were kind enough to let me check in early. This flexibility really helped, as I could rest after my journey and start exploring Ha Giang feeling refreshed.
They were always available to help with anything I needed, whether it was offering local recommendations or helping me book a tour. They even helped me with my luggage and made sure I was comfortable at all times. I felt well cared for.
The staff were helpful and spoke good English, making communication easy. They gave me great tips about things to do around Ha Giang, they were kind enough to give me a bowl of hot soup, made me feel at home.
Although I stayed in a shared dormitory, I felt like I had my own space. I could enjoy my personal space while still meeting other travelers.
After a long day of sightseeing, I looked forward to returning to the cozy room with a large, soft bed. The blankets were thick and warm, which made it easy to get a good night’s sleep even in the chilly weather of Ha Giang.
I stayed in the shared room, and it was surprisingly private. The beds were large and had thick curtains for privacy. Even though it was a shared space, I felt very comfortable and didn’t mind being in a dormitory at all.
One of the highlights of my stay was the trekking tour. The guide was not only knowledgeable about the area, but also had a great sense of humor, making the trek enjoyable. We explored amazing landscapes and I learned a lot about the culture and history of Ha Giang.
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all delicious. They served authentic local dishes made with fresh ingredients, and I really appreciated the home-cooked taste. It made me feel more connected to the local culture.
I arrived early in the morning and was so relieved when the homestay allowed me to check in earlier than expected. They were flexible with the check-in time, which made my experience much smoother after a long journey.
The staff at the homestay were incredibly helpful and friendly. I arrived late at night, but they were still there to check me in and make sure I was settled in. The next morning, I asked about places to buy souvenirs, and they gave me great recommendations.
I joined a trekking tour offered by the homestay, and it was one of the best parts of my trip. We explored beautiful landscapes and I learned a lot about the local culture.
I stayed at this homestay during my trip to Ha Giang, and the views were absolutely stunning. Surrounded by majestic mountains and misty clouds, the scenery was breathtaking. It was the perfect place to relax and take in nature's beauty
The food at the homestay was amazing. Not only was breakfast delicious, but they also served lunch and dinner with local dishes that were flavorful and fresh. I especially loved the variety of dishes that gave me a real taste of Ha Giang’s cuisine
Stayed here for one night. We had a private room. The beds are very comfortable, the place is clean and there is hot water, but it may run out if you want an extra long shower. The staff was really friendly. It was our first homestay, and we were so happy with the dinner that was provided! Although it was just the two of us, the dinner gave us the opportunity to socialise and meet other people.
Friendly, comfortable stay after many hours on the motorbike. I would recommend if you are looking for a homestay on the loop.
This wooden house is very comfortable to stay in and has all the necessary amenities if you're traveling alone like I am.
What impressed me the most were the hosts and their staff, who were very friendly and always tried their best to assist us. The bbq grilled dishes were delicious. Thank you!
I arrived at 11 p.m, but luckily their house was still lit up and there was staff on duty. They even asked if I had eaten and if I wanted anything to eat so they could prepare it.
The homestay grounds are very spacious and comfortable. The room I stayed in had a soft and large mattress, even though it was meant for just one person.
The house is small and charming, surrounded by many trees and mountains. I feel very safe and welcomed by the host and their family.
I crashed my motorcycle about 10 minutes away, they came and picked me up and gave me medical supplies and offered to take me to the hospital. The best people. And a great room as well.
Fantastic. Great comfy beds. Excellent hot shower. Great facilities and the location was excellent. Couldn’t fault it. As good as you will get.
Nothing.
The room is simple but of good quality. There are many activities I haven't had the chance to try yet; if I visit again.
It feels like this place is a home nestled in a peaceful village, even though it’s not overly grand. It was a memorable experience.
The room is in a dormitory style, with beds spaced apart to provide some privacy. I have no complaints about the price.
The mattress is comfortable for sleeping, the lighting is adequate, and everything works well. The shared bathroom is kept clean, though there’s a bit of a shortage of hot water, which could be improved.
I don't have high expectations for the room quality, but on the plus side, the host is very hospitable and willing to replace the mattress for me because I prefer a firm mattress.
The home is lovely, it has helped me take many new friends from Canada an the Netherlands.
Clean and quiet. Convenient for my trekking route
I look forward to seeing Milk Milk again soon and hope you will add the salad that you let me try to the menu.
This place seems very lively at night, which I really enjoy. Initially, I thought it might be a bit quiet and dull, but it turned out not to be the case. The host was very friendly and they even organized a group barbecue.
The room are spacious and comfortable, with plenty of outdoor space for hosting parties and playing board games.
The homestay is decorated in a simple, traditional Vietnamese style. It's pet-friendly, and there’s a lovely little dog.
The home is good for the price range, and the service attitude is five-star.
Everyone was very polite. Although some staff members were not very proficient in English, they still listened to my requests.
This is my first time staying at such a high-quality homestay in Ha Giang.
The room is warm, comfortable, and clean. The mattress is very spacious for one person
We had many memories with Milk Milk even though we were only here for 1 night.
The homestay is clean, spacious, and airy. It's perfect for budget travelers.
The people are incredibly lovely and welcoming.
