Reviewed Sep 14, 2026Tout était parfait dans cet établissement. Un personnel à l’écoute toujours là pour répondre aux questions et nous aider lorsqu’on en avait besoin. Il y a une cuisine où il y a tout l’équipement nécessaire pour cuisiner avec un supermarché à 3min de l’hostel. Nous avons fait l’excursion sur une journée aux déserts de Tatacoa avec l’hostel, le guide était très sympa, les explications au top. C’était vraiment une journée incroyable. Il n’y a pas trop de bruits la nuit donc on a très bien dormi. Je recommande vivement vous ne trouverez pas mieux à Neiva.

Tour al decierto todos los días, a un precio increíble, con guía al mismo dueño del hostal apasionado en botánica y minerales
Lástima estuve en temporada baja y el hostal estaba vacío

Absence de Clim (malgré un ventilateur) dans certaine chambre et nous ne nous avons pas fourni de clé pour fermer notre chambre (même si l’établissement est safe nous aurions aimé pouvoir fermer notre chambre)

Reviewed Apr 3, 2026Domnișoara de la recepție a fost foarte drăguță și m-a ajutat când am avut nevoie. Am putut să stau în spațiul comun după check-out câteva ore bune. Camera curată, aer condiționat funcțional. M-am simțit foarte bine în camera cu baie privată.
Locația nu este prea wow. Apă caldă nu venea, deși am așteptat câteva minute bune. După ora 22, alte persoane s-au adunat în curte (ceea ce nu este o problemă, fiind un hostel), însă nu mi s-a părut ok gălăgia enormă pe care au făcut-o: râsete puternice și ton ridicat. Ar fi minunat dacă s-ar impune o regulă legată de gălăgie și ora de liniște.

Reviewed Mar 17, 2026Nous avons choisi cet hostel pour faire le tour du désert. Le guide Carlos était super, le tour était très agréable et bien organisé hormis le bus qui est vraiment très peu confortable alors que les trajets sont nombreux. Bon rapport qualité prix pour le tour, pas l’hostel.
Nous avons tous les deux choppé un impétigo (infection de la peau) dans les draps de cet hostel dont nous avons du mal à nous défaire. Il n’y a pas d’eau chaude dans les douches. Le petit déjeuner est catastrophique.

Reviewed Mar 12, 2026The day staff had an excellent attitude towards us. The hotel had comfortable, budget conscious rooms. They arranged a tour to a hidden waterfall that we followed and swam at.
Neiva itself is not attractive, however, the location of the hostel was walking distance to a street with good food choices. For instance a Japanese style Rami house. Never could find a good coffee here.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was relaxed. Overall, it’s very affordable, and I would stay here again

terrible attitude from the staff. the girl at the reception does everything to sell you the tour, even LYING that i "wouldnt make it to the the desert myself because on Sunday there're LITERALLY no transportation" LOL. very cocky and bratty. i manage accommodation services all my life and i fire these kind of people after their first attempt to speak condescendingly and mockingly with the guests. Check-in took forever, some math class is needed, I had to show her on calculator how much is the change from my bill, it was literally 2+2 thing and it's not what i want to deal with at 11pm when i just need to take a shover and fall right into my bed asap

Reviewed Feb 9, 2026Le personnel a été aux petits soins : ils ont arrangé un trajet de Villavieja à Neiga pour nous (40k cop par personne) et le propriétaire nous a même déposés à l’aéroport le lendemain matin car nous ne trouvions aucun taxi (moyennant un paiement bien sûr). A part cela, la chambre est fonctionnelle et le lit est très grand, ce qui est un plus. Très bon rapport qualité/prix dans l’ensemble.
Manque d’intimité car la « fenêtre » de la chambre donne sur le couloir où tout le monde passe.

Il y avait dans notre chambre un boîtier relié à la climatisation qui se déclenchait 4 ou 5 fois par nuit. Cela ne durait que quelques minutes mais faisait le bruit d'un sèche-cheveux. Nous avons fait la visite proposée au désert de la Tatacoa et nous avons trouvé qu'il y avait beaucoup de temps long et que le guide n'avait pas beaucoup de choses à nous raconter. Mais cela dépend évidemment du guide sur lequel on tombe... L'auberge est vraiment excentrée.

Reviewed Jan 21, 2026Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich. Das Hostel verfügt über eine Küche, einen großen Bereich zum Essen und Zusammenkommen und einer Terrasse. Das Zimmer hatte ein bequemes Bett und einen riesigen Schrank, wo man super Sachen verstauen konnte. Das Badezimmer war groß (Wasser in der Dusche ist kalt). Wir haben den Ausflug in die Tatacoa Wüste über das Hostel gebucht. Der Preis ist für den Ausflug sehr günstig, man sieht sehr viel und bekommt vieles erklärt - wir hatten einen tollen Tag in der Wüste!
Die Lage ist ziemlich außerhalb und es gibt um das Hostel herum nur sehr geringe Möglichkeiten zum Essen oder Trinken gehen.

The owner arranged a tour of Cueva de las Golondrinas which included an opportunity to enjoy a lunch from a mountain top restaurant. Truly memorable. The hotel was close to a Ramen restaurant called Ramu which we visited three times.
Far from the bus terminal, although the area felt safe to walk in the dark unlike other parts of Neiva and one could access metered taxis. The evening staff who played music through speakers until 10pm should be more considerate of guests who may not appreciate their taste in music.

Sehr einfache und schlecht durchdachte Einrichtung. Im Badezimmer gibt es keine Ablagemöglichkeit für Duschgel und keinen Haken für ein Handtuch Die Wasserhähne sind locker, das Wasser spritzt unkontrolliert heraus Die Badezimmer wirken sehr ungepflegt und unhygienisch. Teilweise kommt nur ein dünner Strahl kaltes Wasser. Häufig fehlt WC-Papier, was absolut inakzeptabel ist. Der Teppich vor der Dusche sieht aus, als wäre er seit Wochen nicht gewaschen worden Bei starkem Regen wird das Zimmer feucht, da es nach oben hin seitlich offen ist und Wasser eindringt. Durch eine Dachluke wird das Zimmer bereits frühmorgens taghell Das Zimmer ist oben zum Gang hin offen, sodass man alle Gespräche im Korridor hört. Ausschlafen ist dadurch unmöglich In der Nacht hören Mitarbeitende an der Rezeption laute Musik, was den Schlaf erheblich stört Die Eingangstür wird mit einem Vorhängeschloss verschlossen, während die Rezeption nicht dauerhaft besetzt ist. Teilweise wartet man bis zu 30 Minuten, um das Hostel verlassen zu können. Das ist aus Sicherheitsgründen absolut inakzeptabel – insbesondere im Hinblick auf einen möglichen Brand. Man fühlt sich im Hostel eingeschlossen Auffällig ist zudem, dass das Hostel während meines Aufenthalts nur etwa zu zwei Dritteln belegt war, was den mangelhaften Service und die fehlende Organisation umso unverständlicher macht In meinem Zimmer gab es keine normale kolumbianische Steckdose, sodass ich meine Geräte mit internationalem Stecker nicht laden konnte Obwohl eine Waschmaschine vorhanden ist, dürfen Gäste diese nicht benutzen – völlig unverständlich Die Küche ist schmutzig und äußerst unappetitlich. Das angebotene Frühstück war lieblos zubereitet und geschmacklich enttäuschend Das Viertel, in dem sich das Hostel befindet, ist wenig einladend. In der Umgebung gibt es kaum Restaurants. Abends essen zu gehen ist schwierig Das Hostel hat die Gäste nicht über die Ausnahmesituation (Paro) im Land informiert

Reviewed Dec 13, 2025Das Zimmer war gross,sauber und es hatte einen Schrank. Heisse Dusche. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Es half beim organisieren von Touren. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Das Bett war sehr bequem, schöne Einrichtung und sehr ruhig.
