Bättre och större skyltat att Backpackers och Slottskogens vandrarhem låg i samma byggnad. Toa/dusch behöver renoveras för det var litet slitet. Hyllor så man kunde sätta saker ovanför vasken

I booked 2 last beds for me and my husband, the receptionist told me that I booked a male room where I couldn't stay and made me pay extra for a mixed room. We ended up in completely different buildings even though there were beds in my room and my room was full of men anyway. This didn't make any sense. Moreover, there were no curtains for beds in the mixed room (and there were in the men's room). Really bad service.

ベッドの下段は天井が低くて普通に座れませんでした。街の中心地や駅までが少し遠いです。滞在したフロアにはバスルーム6室、トイレ2室があり、充分な数だと思いますが、朝のトイレと夜のシャワーは少し混み合いました。

Preis Leistung. V.a. , dass man teilweise über 70€ für ein nicht klimatisiertes Mehrbettzimmer bezahlt. Bei 30 bis 40 € würde ich nicht meckern,. aber bei über 50€ die Nacht erwarte ich eigentlich mehr.

Reviewed Aug 21, 2026Sympathisches Hostel, gutes Frühstücksbuffett, tolle Lage ( Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel schnell erreichbar - damit 10 Minuten ins Zentrum , gut sortierter Supermarkt ums Eck, Naherholungsgebiet in 5 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar), günstiger Fahrradverleih im Hostel, Gepäckaufbewahrung möglich. Saubere Dusch- und WC Anlagen, gut ausgestattete, geräumige Gemeinschaftsküche. Ich habe in einem 4-Bett Frauenschlafzimmer geschlafen. Wir hatten genug Platz für unsere Sachen in einem der vier Locker und den Ablageflächen. Ich komme sehr gerne wieder!

Reviewed Aug 3, 2026Uno dei migliori ostelli in cui sono stata. La struttura è molto bella, situata a pochi minuti a piedi dal bellissimo quartiere di Haga. Il centro è comodamente raggiungibile a piedi o in tram. L'ostello è fornito di tutto il necessario: ha una splendida cucina e ci sono due supermarket vicini, le camere sono comode, il personale molto accogliente. L'ostello ha anche una sauna gratuita. Direi un soggiorno perfetto. Mi sono fermata una notte in più del previsto.

I stayed here twice, both times their guest profile was very loud, running children in the corridors and the building is no isolated for sound, overall not so fresh. There are much better places at a cheaper price. Breakfast menu was also quite narrow for what they charge. You can feel every movement in your neighbouring beds.

Hade önskat att man kunde dra för sängarna med draperi för insynsskydd.

Reviewed Jul 11, 2026I liked everything about this hostel, the location was great, the rooms were clean and spacious with a curtain on the bed and the bathrooms had showers included so there was lots of space to leave your things when showering. There was a nice common area with a kitchen and made it easy to cook and meet people. the location is walkable to all sights in the city too and the staff were friendly
it would have been good to have toilets without showers too, as when everyone was showering at the same time you couldn’t use the bathroom

Reviewed Jul 7, 2026The hostel is located in a nice area of Göteborg, close to several shops and parks. The shared bathrooms were better than expected and there seemed to be enough of them, so you did not have to wait long in order to use one.
Check-in took a long time and the room was not ready because of some cleaning issues (that got fixed quickly, though). I did not really like the cheap IKEA bunk beds and thought that the mattress was quite thin. I found the price of SEK 800 was a bit high for just a bunk bed, but I realize that that might have been because of all the activities in town that weekend.

Reviewed Jul 7, 2026Wszystko mi się podobało, obiekt spełnił moje oczekiwania. Nie jest to centrum ale pobliskie ulice przypominające Brooklyn bardzo mi przypadły do gustu. Lokalizacja bezpieczna i z klimatem. Zatrzymam się tu kiedyś ponownie!

Reviewed Jun 10, 2026J'ai apprécié la proximité des douches / WC avec les dortoirs. La petite capacité des dortoirs est appréciable, la possibilité d'en avoir que pour femmes l'est encore plus. Bien situé et rapidement accessible depuis le centre ville avec le tram.
La présence du sèche cheveux dans le dortoir et pas dans la salle de bain n'est pas très pratique quand il faut se les sécher et que tout le dortoir dort encore ! La porte du dortoir qui bouge et qui "claque" à chaque fois que les autres portes du couloir se ferment n'est pas très agréable quand notre tête est à 20cm de celle ci.

Reviewed Jun 5, 2026Everything - a very clean and comfortable hostel split into 2 buildings - my 6 room mixed dormitory was on the 2nd building over the road which had super clean and spacious toilet/shower facilities and a large kitchen area - the bed was well comfy - location is perfect less then a 10 minute ride into the city on the metro - I had the buffet breakfast on my first morning which was great value for money - all good would stay here again if I visit Gothenburg again
