generally dated and rough around the edges. thin walls. woke up at 7am to someons speaking very loudly on the phone nearby. housekeeper kept rushing me and other guests out. bathroom/sink situation is very weird. very cold night and there was no way to control the temperature in the room. generally uncomfortable stay.

Reviewed Mar 27, 2026It is a hostel, it’s not very luxurious, but it was clean and everything was fine. Maybe the not budget rooms are better. The bathroom was clean and almost always available.
The Tv was really big compared to the room size. It was very icy in front of the house, i think this could have been removed for the safety of the guests.

Reviewed Mar 22, 2026I had an absolutely amazing stay at this hostel! Everything was perfect – the atmosphere, the comfort, and especially the breakfast, which was extra and truly delicious. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. I accidentally left my camera and adapters behind, and they kindly offered to send them back to my home address – which just shows how honest and caring they are. Such a wonderful place with wonderful people. I highly recommend it to everyone! ⭐️

Reviewed Mar 21, 2026location good, but it would have helped if the hostel had mentioned which bus-stop was closest in advance of arrival. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room cleaning was exceptional.
Could do with another fridge somewhere for food storage. I felt a bit sorry for the inhabitants of the lowest floor, as the beeping of the communal microwave would have driven me totally crazy! It might be worth checking out how to mute the sound - most microwaves have this facility.

Reviewed Mar 10, 2026The location was good in the proximity of the sking facilities, ski in/ ski out. The staff and the manager was very service oriented and flexible in the way they handled me as a guest. I really had a warm feeling, and felt a home.
I liked everything, the entire mix. I like to come back as a guest next year.

Das Zimmer war klein, aber sehr gemütlich, und ich habe die Küche sehr geschätzt, in der man warme Mahlzeiten zubereiten konnte. Insgesamt habe ich meinen Aufenthalt und die Nähe zu den Skiliften sehr genossen... sehr zu empfehlen.

Reviewed Jan 31, 2026The road to the hostel was cleared from snow so it was no problem to come with the car. It's little far away from main street but with ski it's very easy to come to near chairlift. The view from hostel is great, if you get room on proper side.
My room was #9 and its near main door, and because of that sometimes it was noisy. In the kitchen could be some more dishes for cooking, some old could be changed

In perfect location, just in the heart of Lechs.. it is clean and comfortable hostel.. it’s a must place to spend the night/nights when visiting lechs. I would definitely come back again sometime in the future. Although there were shared really clean bathrooms/toilets but there was never any queue.
It’s an old hostel, but still very clean and well maintained.

This hostel is very well set up with lots of convenient toilets and showers, great heating and a convenient and very social kitchen. We had convenient and comfortable privacy but also met some wonderful people in the kitchen/eTing area.

Reviewed Sep 19, 2025Vergleichsweise günstige Unterkunft im sonst recht hochpreisigen Lech, die aber alles hatte, was man braucht. Perfekt für Fernwanderer, direkt am Lechwanderweg gelegen. Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeber.
Topflappen in der Gemeinschaftsküche und größere Tassen wären toll. Sonst gab es nichts zu beanstanden.

Reviewed Sep 5, 2025the perfect place to explore the whole Lechtal. We were welcomed by a very friendly staff who explained everything and showed us around. Although it is named as a hostel it didnt feel at all like a hostel to us. The rooms are large and provide a romantic view of the mountains and are very comfy, including your own sink. Each floor has plenty of toilets and showers that are exceptional clean and have soap and shower gel provided. The kitchen is situated in a half basement and has everything that you need to cook a small meal. We only stayed for one night, but could easily have stayed for many more! Free parking spots are available in front of the house.

Reviewed Aug 15, 2025Comfortable and functional room with a nice view from the window. Everything is kept clean and tidy which is fantastic. Functional kitchen with stovetop and (almost) everything you need to cook your own meals. Tidy clean fridge. Hiking guide books and other information pamphlets provided at reception as well as in the hostel. Room stayed cool in Summer despite no AC.
Would be good to have a ‘do not disturb’ option for the door for daily room cleaning if you don’t want/need your room cleaned. Kitchen had no chef/cooking knives so had to chop vegetables with a flimsy steak knife which was very frustrating. Freezer looks like a fridge and has no label - myself and others froze all our food. A sign would be good. Doors are very creaky and the key is very hard to turn (and noisy) and difficult to extract from the lock. Some maintenance would help here. Shower had an ongoing issue which staff were notified of so I assume this will be addressed. Staff were friendly in person but were very unhelpful and unaccommodating to assist with adjusting the booking to match a lower price, ignoring correspondence entirely about the issue. This put a bit of a sour note on the whole stay and made it feel like a profit-making enterprise.

Reviewed Aug 12, 2025Perfect for a night or two if you're walking in the local area. Good location for amenities. Can recommend the Italian restaurant at the end of the road. Good amount of cookware in the kitchen, very tidy and clean. Two shared showers/toilets per floor was fine, never had to queue. Each room has own sink although no soap provided in the room only in the shower.
Would be nice to have a bottle of soap in the bedroom or hand sanitizer in the bathrooms.

- Sie haben mehr City Tax berechnet als bei der Booking angegeben! - Wenn zwei Zimmer zwei Monate im Voraus gebucht werden, erwarten wir, dass sie nebeneinander oder zumindest auf derselben Etage liegen. Allerdings befand sich eines im Erdgeschoss und eines im obersten Stockwerk. - Die Küchenausstattung war sehr begrenzt. Und es gab keinen Platz zum Abhängen, alle waren in der Küche!
