La limpieza del lugar no es muy buena ... El precio q se paga por persona no es acorde a las instalaciones... La limpieza de la cocina no es agradable... No hay ventiladores y es muy pequeño con mucho calor ... En la noche hacen mucho ruido íbamos con un bebe y hubo momentos q se asustó porque golpeaban la puerta no se si era su gato o su perro y el ruido era absurdo tan tarde de la noche ...las personas q atienden fueron agradables pero el lugar no es como se ve en las fotos falta mucho por mejorar ..

Reviewed Jul 14, 2026the staff was great. Delphine helped in any question and was so kind. the location is very central and you walk 1 minute to the willies that going to the termales. which is great. also the hostel desighned in a very colorfull way and gives a very warm and cousy feeling.
2 things about feeling secure. The door of the hostel is kind of hidden - it can be scary to come back in the darkness and open it with a key. A lit sign for the hostel would have made it much easier to find at night. another thing is the door of the private room which made of glass, which reduces privacy and security. A solid door would be much better.

Reviewed May 12, 2026Tiene varios espacios que hacen que el hostal se sienta distinto en cada uno de los lugares. Las habitaciones son cómodas, tienen buen colchón y cobijas. Perfecto para descansar después de un largo viaje, y propicio para el clima del municipio. Posee cocina amplia, completamente equipada. Espacio social muy bello, con muchas plantas y un patio interno muy amplio. Tenía ducha con agua caliente de gas, excelente para las noches frías. Ofrecen servicio de lavandería. La atención al cliente, 10/10, súper amables y atentos a todas las necesidades del cliente, incluso dan tips de cómo y qué hacer en el municipio. Cerca de la calle peatonal del pueblo, y cerca de excelentes cafés y restaurantes. Facilidad para movilizarse en transporte público, queda cerca de paradas del bus y jeeps, no más de tres cuadras.
Todo ok. Le recomendaría unas hamacas en el patio.

Se preocupa y cuida a todo el mundo como si fuera una gran familia, el lugar tiene mucho encanto, el trato es muy bueno, era mi primera vez y encima el día de mi cumpleaños, pero me sentí en casa, más que recomendable.
Nada que tenga que ver con el hostal.

Manque d entretien au niveau chambre. Manque un responsable pour diriger Rien contre le staff d accueil, certains sont biens, d autres moins . Box occupes , Porte manteaux occupes … espace occupés par multiple paire de chaussures (c’est le bazar)… Propreté assiette petit déjeuner douteuse (1 jour…)

Leider hatte das Zimmer kein Fenster und deswegen eher stickig. Die Lage fand ich eher unsicher (ist immer persönlich).

you need to have zero self respect to stay in these tiny old dorms, i made a mistake of paying before seeing them (being terribly tired and injured) and the staff did everything to keep the payment at least partially . i only discovered later that they were lying and with my genius status i had free cancellation anytime. I ran away to the hostel that was more expensive but with big wooden beds and rooms that are at least twice bigger than here and with a way friendlier attitude and a family-like atmosphere also, attention! the area IS NOT safe after dark, it's too close to the loud and messy central market, in the evenings there are sneaky locals drinking around every corner. i've spent total 4 days in Santa Rosa and being a solo female traveler I always walked as fast as I could pass this area

I didn't take the option with breakfast, but it looked nice. One of the staff memberd was suoer nice and gave me really good advices and information.
Room is really tiny, with almost no space to leave your belongings. Didn't feel super welcomed by the staff in general. Kitchen was not so clean

Reviewed Jan 20, 2026Reasonable breakfast at a decent price and reasonable laundry service at a decent price, but staff (Angie) acted as though it was a major inconvenience to even ask about these services that they advertised and was rude and dismissive.
Door to room was broken and couldn’t lock properly, garbage on the property, photos do not reflect reality, electrical outlets are a risk of electrocution, no hot water, extremely loud at night, dangerous area where I followed by a man. Staff (Angie) was rude at best.

Reviewed Dec 27, 2025The vibe of the place is great, you feel like home. The staff is atentive and helpful. Angie, the host, is one of the kindest persons I ever meet. The beds and facilities are all you need for a good stay. There is a well equipped kitchen you can use. I loved the cozy garden to chill. Hot water and other services as laundry and breakfast too. They helped us to book the thermal tickets to a reduced price and gave us plenty of recommendations for things to do in Santa Rosa and surroundings. Grateful for the time shared with Kidman family. Highly recommended!

Conoces a muchos otros viajeros, los voluntarios y dueños del hostal son gente maravillosa, son super amigables con los que si querés hacéis actividades juntos, además de que te enseñan lugares que como turista nunca conocerías. Yo siempre lo recomiendo para quien va a hospedarse en Santa Rosa de Cabal. Además ofertan muchas actividades en la naturaleza a diferentes precios y a veces de varios días.

La limpieza de la habitación, en la habitación había una persona enferma que no paraba de tocer, de hacer mucho ruido, no dormí, y venía de un trekking del valle del cocora. Era una habitación con polvo y con esta persona enferma salí enfermo de allí. Además encontré una garrapata en mi cama. Lo siento pero realmente no la pase nada bien, no suelo escribir estas cosas, porque he sido viajero y a veces puedo entender ciertas situaciones, pero esto fue la tapa. Saludos y que sea para mejorar...

notre chambre était sans fenêtre et un peu étouffante. le ventilateur nécessaire mais malheureusement très bruyant ! toutefois il existe de nombreuses chambres et cela était peut être propre à la notre.
