Reviewed Aug 7, 2026The room was exactly as shown in the photos. I had seen some reviews mentioning that it felt a bit old or overused, but honestly, I found it to be very good. The view is absolutely amazing, and the room itself is spacious and clean. Room service was excellent, and the breakfast was really, really good. For Muslim families, the variety might feel slightly limited due to the number of pork dishes, but there are still plenty of options with great taste. The breakfast setting and view are also beautiful, which makes the experience even better. The staff were super friendly, attentive, and quick to respond. The entire property is lush, green, and very well maintained. Overall, I loved the stay and would definitely come back again.
The only downside was the smell in the corridor outside the room. It's the first impression before entering your room, so it's definitely something the hotel should address. Thankfully, the smell doesn't extend into the room, so it wasn't a deal breaker.

Breakfast is very busy at the weekend, causing lots of confusion. Staff handle the best they can. The toilet at breakfast is not a lot (3 rooms in total).

Reviewed May 8, 2026The room was huge and we loved that there was both a balcony and a separate sitting area. Loved that the minibar was stocked with free snacks and beverages. There was a great variety of options at breakfast, both Asian and Western. There was great bird watching around the property.
We don't love being in locations that are not in the town center, but we knew about the location before booking and it was fine for a couple of night.

Generous and tasty of breakfast buffet selections. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Rooms and facilities are wheel chair accessible. It was an absolute delight family vacation stay.

Nevertheless, we felt very welcome and comfortable during our stay, and there are English-speaking staff. The rooms are large and offer stunning views of the lake. The interior décor looks a little worn in places, but it is clean. Breakfast is crowded but good, and a driver is essential for exploring the nearby national park.
