Reviewed Sep 14, 2026The room was nice, I like the wool blankets that were supplied and it was nice to have a refrigerator and microwave. We had a great view. Was very close to the trails.
No hooks or shelves in the bathroom to put anything. Small bathroom. Our room was right next to the entrance to reception so people were constantly walking by and could look right into our room. Very annoying and unacceptable. It was a remote location with no restaurants except the one at the hotel. It would be important to have breakfast at the restaurant and a expanded menu for dinner and better food!

Das Zimmer war schwarz gestrichen, wo durch es sich anfühlte wie in einer Gruft. In diesen Zimmer fühlte man sich wie auf dem Präsentierteller für alle vorbei fahrenden Autos und Fussgänger.

Liten mulighet for lufting, et LITE vindu på badet var alt. Greit å ha det oppe på denne tiden men på vinteren må det jo da bli iskaldt på badet. Badet var grei størrelse og bra med hyller til toalettsaker. Rommet er knøtt lite, nesten ikke plass til å bevege seg Kunne vært en hylle og lampe ved den innerste senga. Måtte legge fra meg telefon og div på gulvet Ellers var det alt en kan trenge der.

Reviewed Aug 31, 2026One room cabin with excellent views across the fjord and very conveniently located next to the local Grill for evening dinner. No breakfast, although there is a 24/7 self serve convenience store 5 minutes walk down the road. Superb location for hiking Heston & Segla as you walk straight from the property. Free parking on site. Shower was good.
Room feels slightly small but that's partly because it is well furnished. However, we had one evening of fine weather which enabled us to sit on the balcony...very nice.

The location is perfect — close to hiking areas — and having dinner at the host’s restaurant was a wonderful experience. The food was excellent and definitely worth the money

Reviewed Jul 14, 2026Unterkunft mit großartiger Lage. Nur die kleine Zufahrtstraße zum Ort liegt dazwischen. Die Zimmer sind wirklich winzig. Die Ausstattung ist sehr ordentlich. Im Ort gibt es einen kleinen 24 Stunden Supermarkt, der alles notwendige, auch eine Frühstücksecke beinhaltet. Frühstück selbst gibt es in der Unterkunft nicht. Nebenan ist ein Restaurant, das einzigste im Ort, das ordentliche Schnellrestaurant / Touristenküche – jedoch große Portionen – anbietet. Der Preis für die Unterkunft ist nicht gering, jedoch muss man die Lage und das geringe Angebot in der schönen Unterkünften in Bezug setzen.
Durch die sehr kleine Wohnung und den schmalen Gang um das Bett ist das Putzen sicherlich nicht einfach… Das hat man bei unseren beiden Ferienwohnungen gesehen… In Summe werden vier Ferienwohnungen angeboten… Somit ist der Aufwand eigentlich auch nicht so riesig

Reviewed Jul 2, 2026Hyvä sijainti, lähellä Seglan ja Hestenin vaellureittien lähtöpaikkaa. 2mh huoneisto ei ole ravintolan yhteydessä vaan n.500m päässä. Se oli yllätys, mutta ei suinkaan huono asia.
Vaateteline eteisessä oli aika pieni ja ainoa mihin vaatteita sai ripustettua. Pyyhkeille myös liian vähän ripustuskoukkuja.

De kamer is wat klein om ook in te ontbijten. Geen tussentijdse schoonmaak.

Das Zimmer ist sehr schön und gemütlich eingerichtet und die Aussicht aus dem großen Fenster ist atemberaubend. Für Selbstversorgung zum Frühstück ist alles notwendige vorhanden - Wasserkocher, Kaffeemaschine, Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle und Besteck. WLAN war sehr gut und Check-in/ Check-out hat auch alles hervorragend geklappt.
Ein bisschen mehr Stauraum oder Ablagefläche wäre schön.

Reviewed Jun 19, 2026Mooie ligging. Mooie kamer. S’avonds kan je eten in het restaurant. De Segla burger is een echte aanrader. Ontbijten kan perfect op de kamer. Er is een waterkoker en microgolf en in het winkeltje vlakbij dat 24/24 open is kan je alles vinden wat je nodig hebt.

Reviewed Mar 30, 2026Die Lage ist absolut super um Wanderungen zu machen und ebenfalls als Ausgangspunkt für die Panoramastrasse. Die Atmosphäre ist sehr familiär. Schöne Terrasse mit Blick auf den Fjord. Schneeschuhe und Stöcke können unentgeltlich ausgeliehen werden.

Reviewed Mar 16, 2026Super Aussicht durch Panoramafenster auf die Berge. Gutes Bett, große Dusche. Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher und Kapselkaffeemaschine. Restaurant nebenan. Allerdings nur bis 20 Uhr geöffnet. Sehr gute Fish & Chips. Sonst nur 24/7 Supermarkt.
Trotz Hinweis der Rezeption bei Anreise dass wir den Schlüssel in den Türsafe hinterlegen sollen, gab es die ganzen 3 Tage keine Reinigung. Wir haben uns neue Teller und Besteck im Restaurant/Rezeption jeden Tag neu geholt.

Huone oli keittiön oven vieressä missä kohtaa tuuletin piti kovaa ääntä. Kylpyhuone oli pieni, epäsiisti ja viemäri haisi! Ei ollut mahdollisuutta saada aamiaista Ensimmäisenä iltana ravintola suljettiin jo 19 kun piti olla auki 22.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026We had a great stay. Perfect location for hiking to Segla and Hesten. The room was new, nice decoration, clean. We got new towels after using ours at the sauna in the harbor. The room is small, but nice. Comfortable beds. We had great weather so used the front coffeetablr and the cafe roof terrace for relaxing in the mindnight sun.

Reviewed Oct 11, 2025In posizione comodissima per l’escursione sul Segla. L’albergo ha anche un pub in cui si può cenare. A 5 minuti a piedi c’è un supermarket molto fornito. La camera era carina ma effettivamente molto piccola. Abbiamo apprezzato il drink di benvenuto e la macchinetta del caffè in camera.
Quando siamo arrivati, non trovavano la nostra prenotazione. La responsabile non era in sede perciò la ragazza al pub ci ha messo un po’ a fornirci la chiave.

The front desk staff were very friendly and had warm smiles. It really put a smile on my face and made me feel very happy. I would love to stay here again.

Reviewed Sep 11, 2025Great location, 5 minutes walk to Hesten trailhead. Room is very clean. Bed is comfortable. Excellent front patio and seating area. Thoughtful free gifts (sparkling wine, coffee pods, candies and buffs) made the stay memorable.
I solo a traveller. The room was big enough for me with several electronics that need to be charged daily. But I can imagine that the size of the room might be a little tight for two people.
