Our stay was absolutely amazing. My wife and I stayed at Canareef for our honeymoon, and we genuinely had a wonderful time. Choosing this resort was definitely one of the best decisions we made. One of the things we loved most was the staff. Everyone was extremely friendly, welcoming, and kind, and they always made us feel comfortable and well taken care of. I would especially like to thank Ibrahim, who was always there for us during breakfast, lunch, and dinner. His service and attitude really made our experience even better. If you’re looking for a peaceful and beautiful place to spend your honeymoon and simply relax and enjoy your time together, I highly recommend Canareef. The resort is even more beautiful in reality than it looks in the Booking.com photos—the pictures honestly don’t do it justice. The resort itself is wonderful, and the island is absolutely beautiful. If we get the chance to visit again for our anniversary, my wife and I definitely wouldn’t hesitate to choose Canareef again. We truly loved our stay and would happily come back.

Odlično je vse: osebje, plaža, hrana, vožnja s kolesi in bagijem. Šli smo s kolesi na drugi otok, ki je povezan z našim resortom z mostom. Super izkušnja, ki ti popestri bivanje. Otok je dolgi 5km 500m. Ima zahodno in vzhodno stran. Na vzhodni ni plaž, so veliki valovi. Čiščenje sob 2x na dan. Neomejeno pitne vode zastonj. Ob četrtkih imajo akcijo čiščenja plastike na plažah. Zelo pametno in koristno! V 40 minutah smo zbrali polni džak. Sicer otok je zelo urejen in čist, samo po vodi priplavajo plastične smeti, na žalost. Z veseljem bomo še kdaj prišli spet.

Mogoče malo enolični zajtrki. Kosilo in večerja sta pestra in polna različnih kuhinj: evropska, domača, pekoča:) Drago pivo in na splošno alkohol.

Wspaniały resort położony wśród bujnej roślinności, utrzymany bardzo naturalnie, bez asfaltu. Przestronne bungalowy oddzielone od siebie pasem zieleni, co zapewnia dużą prywatność. Bardzo czysto, sprzątanie odbywa się dwa razy dziennie. Codziennie uzupełniana jest woda oraz kawa/herbata. Przemiła obsługa, zarówno jeśli chodzi o pracowników recepcji, kelnerki jak i kierowców meleksów. Na miejscu dostępny jest również lekarz. Śniadania i kolacje bardzo smaczne i różnorodne, duży wybór potraw, nie sposób wszystkiego spróbować :) Na miejscu można skorzystać z darmowej siłowni, kortu tenisowego, na cały pobyt można również wypożyczyć rowery. Na terenie resortu znajduje się kilka barów, w których można posłuchać muzyki na żywo, pograć w bilard lub ping ponga. Szczególnie polecam wille od strony zachodzącego słońca. Plaża tutaj jest piaszczysta a woda pięknie błękitna. Z pewnością wybrałabym się w to miejsce ponownie :)

Dass nicht klar ersichtlich war, wie lange die Wege sind . Ein gigantischer Campingplatz, einfach mit grossen Häuser..

The setting was great with close proximity to everything you could need/want, including a buggy service to take you from your room to wherever you wanted to go. The buffet had so many options, you'd find it hard not to find something to eat. Staff were all lovely.

The bed was extremely hard. However, when we mentioned this to the cleaner, he found some cushion tops for the mattresses. The other 'picky' negative would be the size of the resort. The island is 4km in length and the resort fills the whole island. That's a lot of space to get around. I say I'm being picky here as there are transport options from bikes to buggy's, but it is a big resort.

That fact that the restaurant nearby was completely shut at the end of the stay. The bikes were uncomfortable even though they were completely free of charge. The last two days we had to wait lots of time waiting for the buggies because the restaurant nearby was closed and everyone had to go to the opposite side of the island which was quite far from our villa.

The place itself is huge, and you get bicycles to get around. To the south, you have a beautiful beach with sand and corals, very easy for swimming and spotting marine life. We mostly spend our mornings at the pier next to the Bar Kuda (yep, that’s the bar name). The pier has big umbrellas and seems the best spot to enjoy the view, next to the water but not in the sand. The all-inclusive breakfast is very good. However, the lunch and dinner buffet can become repetitive, but you can also order something in the other restaurants and bars. We tried reef fish and fried chicken, and it was pretty good. The alcohol situation (included with the all-inclusive package): they have 4 selected cocktails, which, in my opinion, were ok but too sweet, plus red and white wine and beer. Of all those, we stuck with the white wine (the one from Dohra bar seems the best one). Of course, you can order other classic cocktails. Pro tip: tip the staff for stronger drinks ;) Then, in the evenings, our favourite routine was the Dohra bar next to the pool; you can spend the whole evening there and then go to the buffet for dinner. Also, I want to highlight the excellent service provided by the friendly staff.

The beds are very stiff.

Fabulous resort with everything we needed. Villa directly on the beach and beautiful to watch the sunset. They give you bikes to cycle around the island which we loved but understand that this wouldn't suit everyone. You do also have the option of a golf buggy that you can call directly from your room or any of the restaurants and it usually arrives within a couple minutes. Would 100% stay here again

De zee is er vol met wier, niet de zee die je op de Malediven verwacht.

Super freundliches Personal. Sehr gutes Essen. Eine Insel auf der man tatsächlich auch Joggingtouren unternehmen kann. Verbindung zum lokalen Village per Fuss oder Bike ohne Probleme möglich.

Bedingt durch die Weitläufigkeit sind einige Wege sehr lang. Aber es gibt kostenlos bikes und Buggy Fahrservice. Abseits der super sauber gehaltenen Wege und Unterkunftsbereiche liegt doch einiges an Plastik im Unterholz.

- Hele mooie verzorgde huisjes, erg ruim. - Badkamer is buiten dus geen airco daar - Gratis water en driemaal per dag vervanging van water en onderhoud kamer

- Als je geen all inclusive neemt of half pension is het erg duur als je ergens iets wil eten. Er zijn geen mogelijkheden om iets te kopen in een winkeltje of zo. Je moet gebruik maken van de restaurants die het resort aanbiedt. - Transport naar het resort overdreven duur! 80 dollar per persoon!! Wij konden met een bootje van de plaatselijke bevolking uit Gan komen en dat was veel goedkoper dus laat je niet dwingen om hun optie te kiezen want er zijn andere mogelijkheden als je wat zoekt. - Weinig te doen naast strand en alle aangeboden sporten zijn ook extreem duur. Ik zou er geen 14 dagen willen blijven.

Unser Aufenthalt war wirklich fantastisch. Die Lage direkt am Meer ist traumhaft und das Wasser einfach wunderschön. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das gesamte Personal – alle waren unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und herzlich. Man hat sich jederzeit willkommen gefühlt. Die Mitarbeiter haben sich sogar unsere Getränke gemerkt und diese oft schon gebracht, bevor wir überhaupt danach fragen mussten. Ein besonderes Dankeschön geht an Dianne und Lia an der Bar – zwei wunderbare Menschen, die unseren Aufenthalt mit ihrer herzlichen Art noch schöner gemacht haben. Auch das Essen war sehr lecker und abwechslungsreich, wenn auch eher fleischlastig. Insgesamt war alles sehr gut organisiert und der gesamte Ablauf vor Ort hat reibungslos funktioniert.

Eigentlich gab es kaum etwas zu beanstanden. Für Veganer oder Vegetarier könnte die Auswahl beim Essen etwas begrenzter sein, da viele Gerichte fleischbasiert sind. Es gab zwar einige vegetarische Optionen, aber insgesamt liegt der Fokus eher auf Fleischgerichten.

отель превзошел ожидания - была много раз на мальдивах и в 5 ках, но тут идеальный сервис, чистота, красивый остров большой, бассейн , бары...все прекрасно! для 4 звезд - просто великолепный отель. много рыб, чуть ли не на 2 км по пояс , с детьми прекрасно

питание прям так себе: кормовые помидоры и огурцы, с мясом- или много разного за день или выбрать нечего, фрукты тоже невкусные, порезаны мелкими кусочками в салате и все ковыряют...но где-то им надо сэкономить, чтобы содержать такой остров...как взрослые, мы находили еду и не привередливы. детям сложно, но возможно, можно просить готовить отдельно что-то. но мы были не в премиум ресторане, может там по другому обстоят дела. но чистота и обслуживание официантов - потрясающее!

We spent two weeks at Canareef Resort Maldives and were very satisfied. Staff welcomed us warmly and upgraded our villa. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable, with direct beach access. The resort territory is large but well maintained, creating a calm and relaxing atmosphere. We preferred the southern part of the island with jacuzzi villas, pools, and the better snorkeling beach. Moving around the island takes 10–15 minutes on foot, though buggies are available. Housekeeping was excellent, done twice daily. Dining was decent: good breakfasts and varied main dishes, though the fruit selection was limited and exotic fruits were rarely available. The New Year gala dinner was outstanding. Snorkeling excursions were enjoyable, but the organization could be clearer: the tour was presented as a personal excursion, yet it turned out to be a small group trip, and this condition was not clearly communicated in advance, which was disappointing. Overall, a comfortable and well-kept resort for a relaxed vacation, though not at a luxury level.

Das Essen war gut, nur vermisste ich mehr Fisch und Meeresfrüchte. Es gab zwar gegrillten Thunfisch, dies wars dann. Hervorragend war, dass es jeden Tag frisches Trinkwasser in Glasflaschen gab. Das Zimmer war gut, es kam 2x tgl. der Zimmerservice. Die Betten waren hart.Die Dusche und Toilette waren draußen mit einer Mauer außen rum. Fand ich sehr angenehm. Mein Ausblick war der Sonnenaufgang mit Wellenrauschen. Es gab mehrere Strandabschnitte, wo man es sich auf einer Liege gemütlich machen konnte. Da die Insel sehr lang ist, gab es Buggys, welche die Gäste zu den gewünschten zu den gewünschten Ecken gebracht haben. Es ist eine Barfußinsel.

Beautiful resort with stunning beaches all along the island. Many bars and restaurants to choose from. We ordered from the à la carte menu in Keymaa restaurant. Special shout out to the F&B team there making our evening dining experiences wonderful (Htin, Than, Marianne, Rahee and Michael). Water sports and excellent excursions are available (additional cost). The villas are quiet, private and steps away from the beach. We especially liked the hot tub and the outdoor shower in the villa. A big attraction for us choosing this resort was the close proximity to the local island. Make sure you go and visit some of the local cafes, shops and meet the local people. They are so friendly!

The bicycles are not as fun as we thought they would be. They are old, unmaintained and uncomfortable making them difficult to ride. There are not enough bikes for all of the guests on the island, which means guests take other people's bikes from outside the restaurants etc.

Nagyon szép sziget,rendkívűl kedves és figyelmes személyzet.! A szállások tiszták,nagyok, és kényelmesek.! Ha tehetnénk minden hónapban visszajönnénk.!

A sziget eléggé messze található Malé nemzetközi repterétől,az átszállásnál sokat kell várni.A hazauþnál gyakorlatilag az utolsó napon semmit nem töltesz a szigeten hiszen hajnalban (1:30) már ébresztenek.Nem tartom korrektnek hogy egész napot felszámolnak.!

The breakfast was incredible, I loved the complimentary bottle of wine, the resort has SO much to offer as well. But the best part was the staff, they were kind, helpful and so friendly - very much appreciated! Will stay again for sure.

The aircon was very, very loud, we had to turn it off and use the fan but ended up very hot in the night.

The airport pick up service on arrival as it is a walk to the boat with no staff to help at the time . It was better on the return to the airport

Die Tauchschule war im grossen und ganzen sehr enttäuschend. Preis- Leistung und Service stimmen nicht überein. Amateurhafte Guides und schlechte Auswahl der Tauchplätze (z.T. Dieselben Tauchplätze innerhalb 1 Woche). Lokale Guides wären von Vorteil. Nicht Werner Lau Standard!

Super pool ved den bar vi boede ved. Der var altid pladser tilgængelige ved poolen og restauranten. Villaen var vildt stor og ren. Sengen var noget hård, men de gjorde deres bedste for at fikse det! Generelt super flinkt personale. Varieret buffet! Selvom stedet kan rumme mange, så er der massere plads til alle. Super rummeligt

Jeg er personligt ikke så stor fan af sand ved buffeten, men kan godt se det praktiske i det. Til tider var deres transport rundt på øen noget presset, som kunne skabe ventetid. Dog var personalet der kørte dem super dygtige og servicemindede!

Me and my family stayed at this resort for a few days and we absolutely loved it. The staff is super helpful and kind, the resort looks amazing and has great facilities and the food was really great with varied options.

El baño de la habitación: está abierto al exterior, incluso el váter, el cual tiene una ventana de cristal en frente hasta abajo, esto no es adecuado, no puede haber nadie en el patio mientras lo usas. Everything about Canareef was phenomenal, exceptional. Very well taken care of by the helping and supportive staff. Right from the management, chefs, buggi people. Deepak, Salma, Millie, Ashish, Lakshman, Adeline and many others. Sorry i may have missed some names.

Canareef has got everything that a tourist looks for. Villas are designed keeping the privacy of tourist in mind. Enough cycles, space for outdoor sports like tennis, volleyball and sea sports and tasty food and drinks all time. Most importantly very well maintained ( neat and clean) A place where i will return again.

The resort is big, clean and has nice beaches. I like the division between two parts with different restaurants. The new year celebration and especially fireworks were outstanding. Food is ok, average, there is a good selection of bars. Premium villa is very big and they are very focused on cleanliness, cleaning always twice a day. I would like to specially recognize waiter Than from Keyma restaurant, he was always so friendly, helpful, never ignored us, always remembered to greet and was very fast with orders. He is beyond helpful and really deserve to be promoted among other staff. Also i would like to thank adeline from reception and Arafat from cleaning team, they were very helpful and friendly too. Arafat never forget any small details in room, was always cleaning very well and having great attitude. Also one cleaner on 31st december who was cleaning our villa 715 was amazing, he returned several times to make sure all is clean.

Getting there was a nightmare. I understand that resort is not responsible for flight changes but they brought us to lounge far inside the island, we waited 8 hours there, first we waited for hotel representative at the airport for long time and even asked other staff to call him, then the departure from male and arrival to gan were not organized, they kept us standing and waiting for long time, we arrived at 7 am to male but reached hotel at 7 pm. However after arrival to canareef all was super well and reception staff was great.

The room we were given was very nice and spacious. 2 great pools, layout of the island is easy to understand

From the arrival it is immediately evident that the island has vast amounts of seagrass off the beaches. This is off putting and unlike any of the several other islands we have stayed in before. Other than Sunset Beach on the one end, which is somewhat better, we did not see a single person swim anywhere else on the island. The beaches themselves are white and with soft powdery sand but the water mostly unappealing. Insufficient loungers and umbrellas, many of which are damaged. The "Sunrise villas" (which one accepts as being cheaper as sunrise is not as popular as sunset) are on the side of the island which basically has no beach, is full of coral and not even possible to get into the sea. This should have been communicated rather than hidden. Had we known we would have happily paid for a room where we could actually access a beach and sea. An additional dissapointing aspect of our stay was the entire food and beverage experience...insufficient choice/variety, virtually no fish despite being an island, no fresh fruit available, no flavoured yoghurts at breakfast, poor selection of desserts masked by a tripplication of the same items yet all on display at the same area of the buffet. Poor replenishing of all products with guests often having to request from staff. Dining room service of an extremely poor standard in terms of clearing tables (not unusual to finish several courses and leave the dining area with all the dirty dishes still on the table), re setting (guests would more often than not sit at dirty tables), insufficient waitering staff, ineffective floor management etc etc. Overall an abysmal level of management, service and quality of food.

Das Preisleistungsverhältniss war super. Personal war immer freundlich und hat sich bemüht immer den Wünschen zu entsprechen. Der Transfer verlief problemlos, seit der Ankunft in Malé bist du eigentlich schon in den Ferien, weil du dich um nichts mehr kümmern musst. Das Essen war abwechslungsreich und vielfältig. Die grossen Zimmer waren sauber (zweimal Tag wird sauber gemacht), Tiere hat fast keine bis auf kleine. Wir waren uns zuerst unsicher wegen dem Aussenbad, bezüglich ob man da reinschauen kann oder wegen den Tieren aber das war überhaupt kein Problem. Transfer von den Zimmer zu den Stränden oder Restaurants/ Bars ist auch problemlos, da du dir Fahrräder konstenlos nehmen kannst oder den Shuttle der alle 10 minuten die Strecken abfährt.

I loved the upgrade to a premium suite at the other end of the island, the room was spacious and I was pleasantly surprised about the addition of the spa pool. Walking into a fruit platter and welcome spelt out on my bed with flowers was beautiful. The shower was lovely and my cleaner Surfil did a great job. I loved the excellent quick service of the buggies and the buffet food was excellent and a variety that suited all tastes. The cocktail and Halloween parties were second level fantastic and every detail was thought of. ALL the staff were friendly and helpful especially with me being on a crutch. The pools and beaches were pristine and paying for all inclusive just made it so much easier. I would highly recommend this resort to family and friends in a heartbeat.

That someone took my bike from outside the restaurant - rules for new guests should be told at the introductory piece when you get off the boat. They weren't told to us, but we worked it out at the bike shop pretty quickly. Taking the buggy and cycling was bumpy due to all the internal roads potholes. But glad to see they were filling them when we left. An ironing board in the room would be good for creased linen and cotton clothing you take when traveling.

Leider waren die warmen Speisen am Buffet meistens kalt. Die Preise für Getränke wenn man nicht All Inclusive hat sind sehr überteuert.

Super schön Lage der Sunset Villa (626), traumhafte Garten und Strand davor, sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter, überall - an der Rezeption, im Restaurant, im Zimmer.

Die recht lange Anfahrt bis dorthin... 3 mal fliegen, mit Pausen dazwischen, das zerrt an den Kräften.

Tout ! L’île et l’hôtel sont magnifiques. 2 piscines dont 1 avec presque personne. La gentillesse du personnel. Notre bungalow sunrise vue océan était parfait.

Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir vom herzlichen Personal empfangen, das uns das Gefühl gab, nicht einfach Gäste, sondern geschätzte Freunde zu sein. Jede Frage wurde beantwortet, jeder Wunsch erfüllt und das mit einem Lächeln im Gesicht. Die Sauberkeit im gesamten Resort war makellos. Die Unterkunft war einwandfrei, denn es wurde 2 Mal am Tag gereinigt. Zudem wurden immer frische Habdtücher ausgelegt, der Strand morgens vom Seegras gesäubert, so dass wir einen wunderschönen Sonnenuntergang genießen konnten. Das Housekeeping arbeitete diskret, aber gründlich, und kleine Aufmerksamkeiten wie frische Blumen oder kunstvoll gefaltete Handtücher machten jeden Tag zu etwas Besonderem. Der Service war auf höchstem Niveau: Transfers liefen reibungslos, der Bademeister Hemal war sehr hilfsbereit und aufmerksam und selbst beim Frühstück am Strand wurde jedes Detail bedacht. Es gab nie das Gefühl von Hektik – alles lief ruhig, effizient und mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Beim Essen wurde ohne aufdringlich zu sein, geschaut, ob uns was fehlt. Vor allem möchten wir Bishnu, aber auch allen anderen für den tollen Service bedanken. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet: Vom reichhaltigen Frühstücksbuffet mit frischen exotischen Früchten bis zu mehrgängigen Dinnern – jedes Gericht war nicht nur optisch ein Kunstwerk, sondern auch geschmacklich ein Highlight. Besonders beeindruckend war die maledivische Küche und die kreative Mischung aus maledivischer und internationaler Küche. Zusammengefasst: Ein Ort, an dem Entspannung, Natur und Gastfreundschaft auf perfekte Weise verschmelzen – und an den wir garantiert zurückkehren möchten.

To begin with, I would say that my family and I have formed a special connection with this place, and it will always remain a wonderful memory for me. The entire resort is lush and beautifully surrounded by nature. We had the opportunity to see creatures that you don’t encounter in everyday surroundings. There was so much to explore, such as the local island where you can see how people live, stunning sandy beaches, coral reefs, and more. The food was delicious with a wide variety to choose from. What I liked the most was the staff — they were incredibly positive, kind, and it was a real pleasure to interact with them. Transportation was never an issue, as buggies were available 24/7, and you also have the option to borrow a bicycle. There were daily activities scheduled for guests as well. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and I would love to come back again. Thank you, Canareef Resort Maldives ❤️

Everything! Starting from the staff, extremely knowledgeable and helpful.. made our stay super pleasant. I love the concept of preserving the nature as well.. it’s not a typical luxury resort which made it even better to have a more real Maldivian experience.

Diving was incredibly expensive

This place was amazing. Just like a paradise island. My husband and I have just come back and can't stop talking about it . The location is perfect to relax and have a little R and R . The staff were fantastic and couldn't do enough for everyone. The beaches are outstanding. Well kept and so clean . We're hoping to be able to go back some day .. made some lovely friends. And the welcome we got on arrival was so lovely and again when we left yesterday..

The only down side I the long distance from the UK .. And it's quite expensive if you only go half board .
