Dit is absoluut een heel uniek verblijf! Prachtige plek, fantastische ontvangst, mooi zwembad, heerlijk eten,… De gastheer Chamara behandelt je als familie. Je voelt je hier onmiddellijk thuis. Blijf hier een paar nachtjes, je zult het je niet beklagen! :-)

Mooi zwembad met prachtige uitzicht, heerlijk eten, personeel was fantastisch! We hebben genoten en wilde eigenlijk langer blijven.

45 min naar Kandy. Hotel is 40 jaar oud en kan een flinke upgrade gebruiken. Gaat dit jaar nog gebeuren als het goed is! We komen graag terug als het opgeknapt is. Ps. Let op voor bloedzuigers als je buiten op blote voeten loopt.

The property was scenic, well maintained, luxurious, huge rooms. The highlight was the helper, who was so dedicated in delivering highest level of customer experience throughout our stay. The rooms were huge, ac was good, clean and neat. Breakfast and dinner was satisfying and worth the price. We met the owner , he was kind and accommodating.

The roads leading to the property were bumpy and challenging if you arrive in a van after sunset. There are sharp turns and no street lights, and its a two way single road… For AC rooms the bedsheets were too thin. It is far from kandy downtown, so not a recommended place if you wish to visit kandy for sightseeing and return back.

A beautiful quiet place to stat on a cinnamon and tea plantation with breathtaking views and a lovely swimming pool. The road to the estate is quite bumpy, but our host was so kind to pick us up from the main road (also not a very good road though ;-)).

When we arrived we immediately felt as if we entered into a family home. The staff and other guests were so welcoming! The hotel is in the middle of nature so it gives a spiritual vibe to the whole experience. The views from the pool are spectacular.

Note that this is almost 1 hour away from Kandy, and the road to get to the hotel is not easy with a big van.

Zeer mooie accommodatie net buiten Kandy, geniet hier van de rust, stilte, heerlijk eten, gastvrijheid, en vooral het uitzicht.

We waren helaas de enige en de weg was een flinke uitdaging! Verder is het gebouw van de buitenkant wat vervallen.

De weg naar de accommodatie was interessant, maar waar we uitkwamen was echt geweldig! Chamara is een uitstekende gastheer en we werden enorm welkom geheten. We kregen een leuke tour door de tuin en hebben heerlijk gegeten.

Water douche was helaas niet echt warm te krijgen.

Als je van rust houdt, is dit de place to be. Het hotel ligt verscholen in de groene heuvels (wij vroegen ons op de heenweg echt af waar we terecht zouden komen, haha) en biedt een prachtig uitzicht over de omliggende natuur en bergkammen. De eigenaar bezit naast dit hotel ook de 30 hectare grond er omheen. Heuvels en dalen met o.a. thee-, kaneel-, peper- en katoenstruiken en bomen. We hadden het geluk dat er geen andere kamers waren geboekt, dus we hadden dit kleine hotel en zwembad helemaal voor ons alleen. We hadden voor 2 nachten geboekt en hadden hier prima nog een paar dagen kunnen blijven. Wat een schitterende omgeving en wat een rust. Je zit wel vast aan dit hotel, omdat er in de buurt verder niks is. Maar dat maakt deze plek dus zo uniek. De kamers zijn erg ruim en netjes en het zwembad is fantastisch. Adembenemend uitzicht. Wat deze plek verder zo mooi maakt, zijn de 2 broers die dit hotel runnen. Wat een fantastische, lieve mensen zijn dit! We werden echt in de watten gelegd, heerlijk gegeten, fijne gesprekken. We hebben ons zó welkom gevoeld! Als we terug gaan naar Sri Lanka (hopelijk heel snel), gaan we ook zeker terug naar deze plek. Dikke aanrader.

La piscina y la habitación. Ideal para coger 1-2 días de relax por completo ya que está lejos de todo pero realmente vale la pena. Unas vistas preciosas. El personal se portó muy bien. Ya que estábamos enfermos con una gastroenteritis y nos hicieron para comer cosas más suaves.

Stunning view over the wild and the tea plantations! Very kind hosts, caring for all of your needs.

Would deserve a bit more occupation to maintain the property. Access is difficult due to a very bumpy, steep and winding access road. You better contact the hosts before climbing ad they can arrange pick up by Tuk-Tuk or Jeep.

Qui la lista è lunga. Ci hanno dato una camera con piscina privata ma della piscina privata neanche l'ombra, era senza acqua. Abbiamo chiesto di pagare la camera senza il sovraprezzo della piscina ma non ci è stato accordato. La struttura nel complesso è molto vecchia e si vede, in molte cose. Insomma, le foto mentono

It's very beautiful with a breathtaking view. The service is great. Very respectful and nice people. The pool is amazing (infinity pool)

Only that the route is difficult without an 4-wheeler and you need to be extra careful not to take the wrong route (we did do that while coming back to main road and had to circle back , even though it was during daylight)

Wer Abendteuer und etwas außergewöhnliches sucht, wird es hier finden. Leider hatten wir nicht viel Zeit, aber selbst im Regen war es außergewöhnlich in dem Pool mit einem unfassbaren Blick zu schwimmen. Alle Mitarbeiter waren super gut organisiert und sehr freundlich! Für Abenteurer sehr zu empfehlen.

Der Weg dort hin ist wie beschrieben ein Abendteuer. Die Kühlschränke waren ausgeschaltet als wir ankamen, weshalb sie etwas unangenehm rochen.

Stunning countryside location midst tea plantations high in hills surrounded by nature. Very comfortable double bed in family room and fabulous aspect overlooking infinity pool and forested valley

Single beds in family room not so comfortable. Food disastrously bad, which is not so great because the hotel is very isolated in the hills. We got cold boney chicken curry for dinner and you could play frisbee with the fried eggs we got in the morning. But they did let me make my own, unfortunately that involved seeing their kitchen ... not recently visited by the health inspectors.

De rit er naar toe is fantastisch. Het ligt boven op een berg en je komt er door middel van een small steil paadje omhoog. Onze driver was er niet erg blij mee maar wij waren aan het genieten. Het duurde ook 30min over 2km rijden. De beheerde van het hotel reed ons voor op zijn motor en gaf onze drive aanwijzingen. Eenmaal in het hotel waren we echt de koning. We waren ook de enige in het hotel met 4 of 5 kamers. Maar na een lange dag hebben we eerst een duik genomen in het zwembad. Ondertussen maakte de beheerder een Sri Lankees diner klaar. En wat was dit lekker. Het lekkerste Sri Lankese eten wat we gegeten hebben. Was echt een feestje. Hij nam ook nog eens de tijd om coconut sambal (op aanvraag) aan tafel te maken. De kamers waren netjes en schoon. De volgende dag bracht hij ons weer naar beneden op de motor en mocht onze jongste achterop! Dat soort dingen zijn een cadeautje! Wij troffen het dus enorm.

Vi besökte platsen under lågsäsong vilket gjorde att upplevelsen blev än mer ödslig då vi var de enda gästerna. Stället är eftersatt och kändes inte lyxigt någonstans.

De plek is echt fantastisch. We werden opgehaald met de tuk tuk omdat de auto er niet kon komen . Heel fijn personeel. Zo lief!

Fantastische locatie, beetje afgelegen maar een schitterend uitzicht! De gastheren zijn super, erg vriendelijk. Ontbijt was prima, diner was goed. Vanuit de familie kamer zo de tuin in naar het zwembad.

Douche was wat gedateerd.

La vue depuis l’établissement est folle ! avec la piscine qui est juste devant c’est incroyable ! La nourriture est bonne, que ce soit le petit dej et le repas est copieux ! Si vous voulez un hôtel au calme et loin de tout, c’est une petit coin de paradis. Le personnel est juste aux petits soins et on les remercie pour ça ! Ils sont adorables, gros coeur sur eux ! Ils peuvent vous prévoir tout ce qu’il faut comme activités, van… Les chambres sont grandes et jolies !

L’hôtel en soit est vétuste et a clairement besoin de rénovation. Les chambres sont anciennes, et pas forcément très propres, sûrement à cause du manque de moyens :( Les mangoustes qui se battent au dessus de notre plafond toute la nuit nous a empêché de dormir les 2 nuits. L’établissement est clairement loin de tout et il faut un long moment et une route assez compliquée pour y arriver. On avait réservé une chambre familiale pour 5, mais en arrivant on se retrouve dans 2 chambres séparées donc nous pensions être surclassées. Jusqu’à ce qu’ils nous disent qu’on doit payer les 2 chambres !! Donc au final on a payé seulement la chambre familiale(qui en plus de ça avait été donnée à une famille) mais bon, pas top pour le coup !

I loved the calmness and serenity this hotel provided, away from the chaos of Kandy itself. Staff were exceptional, delicious evening meal and breakfast too. Staff were beyond accommodating, thank you! Comfortables beds. We arrived late, and getting to this property is an adventure in itself. I would strongly advise travelling by day and using a tuk-tuk or jeep. The roads are windy, narrow and steep. Not for the faint hearted traveller! Worth the effort though once you sit and take in that view!

Tout est fabuleux! Le site est exceptionnel, avec une vue grandiose. L'accueil est merveilleux, la nourriture est excellente, le tout pour un excellent rapport qualité prix. Merci pour la visite de la plantation avec les explications de tous les arbres. La piscine est géniale. Je recommande d'y passer 2 nuit car l'accès n'est pas facile mais quelle déconnection!

Il faudra juste réparer la clim de la chambre qui fuyait. Sinon tout est parfait.

Fantastisch verblijf. We werden heel vriendelijk ontvangen. De kamer was heel ruim. Goedwerkende airco. Zwembad is geweldig met een prachtig uitzicht op theeplantages. Het personeel bracht ons de volgende dag ook naar de Ambuluwawa tower. Niets is hen echt te veel. We kwamen in de namiddag toe en ze maakten een heerlijke curry voor ons en dekten voor ons zelf de tafel aan het zwembad. Topervaring.

Helaas verbleven we hier maar 1 nacht. De locatie is prachtig, heel rustig, maar wel wat ver van alles. Als je rust wil is dit wel een geweldige spot.

Un peu plus éloigné et accès avec la jeep de l hôtel

Nous étions les seuls dans l’hôtel vue exceptionnelle chambre confortable personnel au petit soin Un dîner nous a été préparé riz curry poulet tt était délicieux Il faut savoir que cet endroit se situe loin de la ville c’est compliqué d’y aller dîner L’hôtel prend en charge l’arrivée et le départ en tuk tuk en bas du chemin environ 15 mn de trajet et ensuite il faut prendre un autre transport c’est pourquoi il faut les appeler avant d’arriver. Nous étions là pour une nuit et repartions le lendemain pour Kandy, c’était agréable d’être au bout du monde.

L’hôtel aurait besoin d’une remise en état dommage que le bar soit laissé à l’abandon,les chaises longues sont en mauvaise état

The hotel is located in the heart of the nature, No city noise to disturb your peace, if you are a nature lover and looking for a getaway from the city this property is the perfect choice, The food was amazing, the best sri lankan food you can try here, The breakfast was AMAZING, and the gentleman who received us was very caring, and helpful, chamara was an amazing person who made our stay unforgettable.

The location was a bit tricky as our driver couldn’t find the hotel upon arrival, However, the hotel staff were in contact with him and we were able to arrive safely.

Mały mega kameralny hotelik zdala od czegokolwiek. Przepiękny widok na góry, plantacje herbaty, pieprzu i cynamonu. Będąc w hotelu czujesz się jak na krańcu świata. Przemiła obsługa i właściciel który odwiózł Nas po wykwaterowaniu do Kandy i pokazał Świątynie Zęba (bezinteresownie).

Nie podobało to za duże słowo. Dojazd najlepiej 4x4 I bardzo utrudniony przez wąską i dziurawą druszkę. Obiekt ogólnie trudny do znalezienia. Polecam kontakt telefoniczny przed dojazdem.

The hotel is in the middle of jungle, therefore the tranquility,privacy and view you will have is exceptional! The infinity pool just marvellous. The host is a really smiley, friendly and warm person! Breakfast was great. We were on our honeymoon and they prepared for us a welcome towel art and some flowers .

The location is not suitable, but the view and the peace you will experience it’s worth it. One of the towels were dirty and we found some spider webs on the lambs. Water was not hot. The mini fridge was not working.

The hotel and its facilities look very old and deserve renovation. Beware of the distance from Kandy, we drove about 1,5 hours to the hotel from the city and the road is not very suitable for larger cars.

We visited the hotel on our honeymoon and the staff made our stay truly special. The hotel is amazing with a pool you can see mountains and tea plantations and the famous white tower next to Kandy. Everyone was so nice, the food is great and the athmosphere is over the top. You are staying in the middle of the jungel, unforgettable experience!

The road to the hotel is a bit tricky, it's on the top of a beautiful mountain, so I wouldn't advise if you are driving. Local tuktuks can manage easily though, ask the hotel to arrange one for you!

Loved this place - super rural in the heart of nature. Big room with great view. Lots of lovely walks around the area and super friendly locals and staff. A tour with the owner is a must to understand the plantation. Brilliant!

Nothing - wished we could have stayed longer!

What an amazing view on the mountains. Almost like an infinity pool with a beautiful view. The rooms were good, clean. Staff was super responsive, kind and very helpful.

Don't be afraid of the road to get there - it is a bit bumpy and almost offroad but our van driver did a great job and got us there. It is on top of the mountain, thats why it takes so long. But all that forgets when You see the wonderful view and the pool.

De locatie is erg mooi 40min van Kandy. Het zwembad is top! Het hotel is verouderd maar het was leuk om er 1 nacht te verblijven en de eigenaren zijn mega lief !

The location was exceptionally beautiful. The room was very neat and clean . The staff Mr Chamara was very kind and friendly with us. Best location with family . For vegetarian food less options but he managed to give us whatever he can .

A gorgeous, tranquil stay with a stunning view. We were warmly greeted by the wonderful host, Chamara and his team. Every need was taken care of and made us feel as if we were old friends. You can really take a moment to relax and absorb your surroundings. A perfect spot too, to admire the canopy of stars above.

It was in a beautiful location so calm and lovely pool. Staff were really friendly. They even arranged a birthday cake for my birthday.

It was all good. Maybe a bit far out and road to get there was quite bumpy but otherwise all good.

The hotel is located in a fantastic spot with a stunning view, including the distant Ambuluwawa tower. We had planned to stay for one night but the peace, great atmosphere, and view made us extend our stay for a few more days. The pool with its captivating view was enjoyed by adults and children alike. We traveled by tuk-tuk, and our advice to others is to use this mode of transport but avoid driving up the hill to the hotel yourself. The hotel staff can help you arrange this service. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The food at the hotel restaurant was delicious.

The hotel shows signs of wear and our room lacked air conditioning, but the incredible views, friendly staff, and overall ambiance made our stay unforgettable.

Twee geweldig aardige broers die weg hun best doen om het naar je zin te maken. We waren hekemaal alleen in dit ooit wat mooiere hotel. Maar nog steeds een prattige plek met een mooi zwembad en prachtig uitzicht. Heerlijk eten en prima ontbijt. En de broers waren niet te beroerd om het lekke achterbandje van de tuktuk te vervangen. De reis naar het hotel zul je niet snel vergeten. Leuk off road avontuur met de tuktuk. Indien nodig halen de mannen je op, maar zelf rijden is natuurlijk leuker.

Nastaw się na dosyć wyboistą drogę dojazdową która zajmuje się ok 20 minut od stacji kolejowej. Niezbyt ciepłe i nie najlepsze jedzenie na Cejlonie

Geweldig uitzicht, vooral bij het zwembad. Ontzettend vriendelijke man die alles regelt en goed eten en drinken. We hadden een familie kamer, ontzettend ruim en verder prima. Ondanks dat het wat afgelegen ligt toch zeker een aanrader

Met eigen vervoer hier komen is lastig maar je kan opgehaald worden bij een bepaald punt. Misschien zelf met tuktuk kan nog wel maar met eigen auto/busje niet.

Het hotel is een echt verborgen parel. Hoewel het op 40min rijden van Kandy zelf ligt hebben we hier enorm genoten! We werden hartelijk onthaald en het personeel verzet bergen om als naar je wens te laten gebeuren. Ook toen onze treinreis naar Ella niet doorging door de staking hebben ze voor een chauffeur gezorgd die ons toch nog kon brengen. We hebben enorm genoten midden in de natuur, een rondleiding op het domein gehad en zeer lekkere huisgemaakte maaltijden gegeten. Wij komen zeker en vast nog eens terug! Nog eens bedankt voor alles!!

We werden opgehaald onderaan de berg. De weg ernaar toe is zeer uitdagend, maar dat werd door de manager, die alleen maar glimlacht perfect opgelost! Zwembad is mooi, locatie is fantastisch, eten is heerlijk. Het ligt ongeveer een half uur van Kandy vandaan . Dat is iets om rekening mee te houden. De locatie en het personeel maken dat meer dan goed.

L’entretien de l’hôtel mais qui peut s expliquer par le fait que nous étions hors saison et les seuls clients lors de notre séjour.

Die Lage des Hotels, der Pool und seine traumhafte Aussicht. Das Personal war super zuvorkommend und erfüllte alle Wünsche.

Die letzten 3 km zum Hotel konnten wir mit unserem Leihwagen nicht zurücklegen , da Schlaglöcher und die Enge nicht überwindbar waren. Wir mussten unseren Leihwagen privat unterstellen und wurden vom Hotel dann mit Tuk Tuks abgeholt. Dies hätte man vorher vielleicht genauer als Hinweis in die Anreiseinformationen schreiben können. Am Hotel angekommen wurde uns mitgeteilt dass außer unserer Familie nur noch eine Gruppe aus 12 männlichen “Locals” Gäste wären. Es täte ihnen sehr leid & wir könnten selbstverständlich noch stornieren. Wir entschieden uns nach der komplizierten Anreise zumindest diese Nacht zu bleiben. Der Pool war ziemlich schnell durch die Männerparty besetzt. Der Hotelangestellte von da an sehr angespannt. Es war alles ein wenig skurril… die Männer wurden zunehmend Betrunkener und wir zunehmend skeptischer mit unseren 3 Töchtern . Es blieb alles friedlich und ohne besondere Vorkommnisse. Wir unterhielten uns zwischendurch sehr nett mit den Herren . Dennoch blieb dieses komische Gefühl,- vielleicht auch durch die Abgeschiedenheit des Hotels und keinen weiteren Gästen begründet. Viel enttäuschender waren die Zimmer und die Einrichtung des Hotels . Vieles war einfach nur kaputt und absolut ungepflegt. Im ersten Zimmer hatten wir ein riesiges Ameisennest . Der Toilettensitz war fleckig und abgeschrabt. Fenster und Spiegel milchig und verdreckt. Betten Umrandung fleckig. Die Terrassentür ließ sich nur mit Anstrengung öffnen. Die Schränke ließen sich nicht öffnen da davor die Betten standen. Alles in allem alles sehr lieblos , alt und ungepflegt . Auch das “Restaurant “ bestand lediglich aus Tischen und Stühlen im Nebenraum und einer schmalen Terrasse . “Luxury Boutique HOTEL” ist ein absolut irreführende Überschrift für dieses Haus. Sehr schade und wie schon geschrieben: einfach nur enttäuschend.

Rewelacyjne otoczenie - nocleg na plantacji herbaty z widokami na zielone góry naookoło pokryte dżunglą, herbatą, pieprzem i palmami. Wyruszyliśmy na zwiedzanie Kandy dopiero po południu, tak nam było żal rozstawać się z tym otoczeniem. Jeśli możesz tam pobyć co najmniej 2 noclegi (a im więcej tym lepiej) i kochasz naturę to będziesz zachwycony. Posiłki podawane o każdej, pasującej Ci porze, bardzo smaczne - najlepsze jakie jedliśmy w czasie 2 tygodniowego pobytu na Sri Lance.

Należy mieć na uwadze, że "Kandy" w nazwie obiektu jest dość umowne, ze względu na położenie i tempo przejazdów na Sri Lance, do samego miasta Kandy jest około 1 godziny. Nie jest to na pewno nocleg na przyjazd wieczorem i wyruszenie w dalszą drogę rano.

Piękne widoki, bardzo dobre śniadanie, bardzo serdeczny i pomocny personel. Wspaniała przyroda wokół, pokazano nam również różne rośliny i jak rosną przyprawy. Bardzo dziękujemy, żałujemy, że spędziliśmy tu tylko jedną noc.

Superbe endroit au milieu des champs de cannelle, thé, … avec un personnel au top. Gentillesse, serviable, au petit soin et avec un partage incroyable. Merci pour tout! Vous avez fait de ce tout petit séjour un petit coin de paradis. Et qu est ce que cela a été agréable de partager un peu avec vous et votre famille.

Rien. Tout était juste parfait. L endroit, le calme, le partage, les échanges, l aide. Tout était magnifique. Merci merci merci.

(U better eat there, there won’t be so much out of the area - you need an hour to Kandy • even we were the only guests he made it for us as a wonderful stay We got welcomed by really smiling people and got a welcome drink! The rooms were bigger than we expected! The dinner was also great and it was for a really good price

The way to the hotel isn’t that easy, but you will already know if you check the comments! But it isn’t that worse how some people wrote… Some areas needs some maintainence, but probably because of covid and the less tourists here!

Очень понравилось, прекрасный вид, внимательный обслуживающий персонал, они нас кормили завтраками и обедами ( по разумной цене) нам очень понравилось, всё очень вкусно, очень тихое и спокойное место.

Dominanta tohoto hotelu je klid a nádherná příroda, kdo si chce odpočinout a načerpat energii doporučuji tento hotel, opravdu se jedná o úžasné místo mimo civilizaci, ale počítejte také s tím, že jste v džungli a můžete potkat někdy ne úplně příjemné zvířátka a hmyz i na pokoji Lokalita je odlehlá, ale úžasný personál vždy zařídil odvoz kamkoliv tam i zpět za skvělé ceny! Personál vždy milý, usměvavý, opravdu vše zařídili a se vším pomohli, nebojte se zeptat! V hotelu je možnost večeře, která stojí za to! Bazén je nádherný a výhledy dechberoucí

A hidden gem. The most beautiful location, hidden in the hills. The view is incredible. Great for walking/running/biking. The staff are so wonderful and kind. We said it was our anniversary and they organised a dinner outside by the sunset view. Would 100% recommend and would love to go back.

Das Hotel liegt sehr abgelegen und demnach sehr ruhig. Wir haben es geliebt dort zu sein: es war immer jemand für uns da und unsere Versorgungswünsche jeglicher Art wurden erfüllt. Alle Mitarbeiter und der Chef waren verfügbar und sehr offen und freundlich - es war total familiär und entspannend. Mit Zugang zum Garten/Pool direkt vom Balkon unseres Zimmers aus, war den Kindern ein Traum wahr geworden. Wir können die Unterkunft liebend gern weiterempfehlen. Man sollte jedoch wissen, dass man echt abgelegen ist und nur mit langer Wanderung oder Fahrzeug wieder zurückfindet.
